Though Dora was not the most studious when it came to her education, she was still a Ravenclaw. A Ravenclaw who in fact loved to be in a library doing research on her own, so when she found out that sh wouldn't have to pay to visit the school library, it was her first stop the morning after arriving to the castle.

Surrounded by books on running a successful business, and dark magic and potions, along with a few others hidden close to her, she sipped from her coffee mug and flipped through the pages idly.

Holding a single book in her arms, Olly had decided to finish the circle she'd started when retrieving the book. She had time after all. And the restricted section was always very intriguing to look at. Of course only look, on entering. If she could help it, Olly did NOT want to get in trouble with the librarian here. So, only looking it was.

Only look. Don't touch. And for once she actually obeyed that rule too.

Just as she was about to head towards the exit again, she noticed something, a room which had not been here last term. Or at least she thought so. Olly took a couple of steps inside, glancing around at various objects until her eyes came to rest on...Dora. Oh. Hello. The last time they'd spoken had not exactly ended well. Though a lot had happened since then and Olly really wasn't the type to bear grudges.

"Are you starting your own business then?" Olly said casually taking another set of steps closer to where the other girl was sitting.

Dora heard footsteps, but she was so lost in her book that she didn't even pay attention to who it could possibly be until they spoke. Olly, that was Olly's voice. She hadn't heard it since the train ride before summer, but she still recognized it.

Shrugging, she took a sip of her coffee and used the chance to glance over at the other girl briefly before returning her gaze back to her book. "It's a possibility." Future plans and all, she had to start thinking about them eventually. Dora flipped past another page, looking unreadable as to whether or not she wanted Olly around.

It was possible she held grudges like a dying man clung to his last breath of life, but there wasn't much of anything for hold on to... was there? "What's the book in your hands about?"

A possibility? Okay. To be honest, Olly wasn't all that interested whether or not Dora had any plans to start a business. It had just been a...conversation starter? Ugh, since when had she lowered herself to requiring things like that? She should just leave Dora be if she didn't want to talk to her it was her loss. However, Olly still lingered for a moment longer. Simply observing the Ravenclaw.

And just as Olly was about to go, Dora did say something. The book in her hands? She looked down at the item in her arms, frowned and then allowed her eyes to rest on the other girl again. They were discussing books now? Really? She just shrugged nonchalantly in reply, a non-verbal 'nothing interesting'. Not that Dora would see it since she wasn't looking at her.

Silence.

"Okay, well, nice talking to you." Her voice was laced with sarcasm and you could almost hear the roll of her eyes that accompanied her words. Olly turned around with the intention of leaving the room again. Whatever. She didn't need this.

Olly was just standing there being silent, and wasting the air around them... she wondered if she'd even respond to her question, but not enough to look up from her book yet.

But then she finally was speaking.

And Dora finally did look.

Unimpressed, bored, distracted sort of look.

"That is not a book title, Olivia Clarke."

Pause.

"Not even a good subject."

Though it sorta was a conclusion.

Dora stared, patiently, expectantly.

.........excuse me WHAT?

"And that's not my name." Yes, of course, technically it was but Olly still didn't appreciate the way it had just been used. Like, Dora was her mother scolding her or something. It was NOT appreciated. Which was why she even sent a glare the Ravenclaw's way.

Though, it didn't bother her THAT much. Nope. She wouldn't let Dora get to her. So the next moment her face had gone back to being unreadable, with a hint of impatience. Why was the other girl so keen on knowing what kind of book she was reading? In return, Olly pulled the item a little closer to her chest with a shrug. Whatever.

Once again, Olly moved to leave but stopped again. "Is there anything you want to say to me, Dora?" Might as well get it over with because seriously, this was starting to get really irritating and Olly didn't want to lose her good mood for something like this.

"Sure it is." Dora supplied with the utmost certainty, not fazed by the glaring the least bit. She even held the girl's gaze. Wandering around the library must have addled the Hufflepuff's brain. Something to be looked into that.

Was there something SHE wanted to say to her? Dora thought about it serious for a long moment, then reached for her coffee and took another sip. "Nothing pressing at the moment." She shrugged. "I'm sure you know by now that if I have something to say, I'll say it." The sixth year wasn't one to hold her tongue no matter who she was speaking to, and no matter what it was about. "Is there something you'd like to say to me?"

Honestly, Olly couldn't really argue with that. It WAS her name of course. She just didn't like it. However, she didn't really want to get into the whole thing now, not here and certainly not with Dora. So she just rolled her eyes and shrugged. Again, whatever. This wasn't worth it.

Right. "Do you? I remember you beating around the bush quite a lot last time we talked." Though she should probably just go. Why had she even asked? This soooooo clearly wasn't going anywhere and she didn't even know why she was trying.

Olly hovered on the spot for a moment before shrugging again. Did she have anything to say? No not really. Nothing in particular anyway. She shook her head. "I'll leave you to your...business planning then." Seeing as she was oh-so-busy.

Dora shrugged. "Sometimes it takes me longer to say stuff, but I'm sure you were aware I was getting at something." Was it her fault it took Olly longer to understand than most? No, it wasn't. And she was shrugging an awful lot. Right.

"You're always leaving, did you know?" It was irksome. It didn't show on her face however, the prefect was more thoughtful than anything else, holding the other girl's gaze.

Actually she really hadn't been aware of that on the train back to London. It had been quite a surprise to find out that Dora not only knew but had also felt the need to...scold her? Try to make her feel bad? Well, whatever the reason for their conversation had been, Olly didn't feel like going over it again.

So she just shrugged. Again.

This time Olly had actually already turned around fully to walk out of the room when Dora spoke up again. Always leaving? "What?" What was that supposed to mean? "I'm just good at telling when I'm not wanted." Hence why she was about to leave now. She looked back to Dora over her shoulder to give her a pointed look.

Well this room was new. But perhaps it was simply because Hadley hadn't visited the library often since she'd been a teacher. She had her own collection of books, after all, and it wasn't as if she was studying to pass any exams. Glancing around the cozy nook, she nodded in solemn approval at the room, before tapping her lower lip thoughtfully.

"It's nice, but ... It needs a woman's touch." She said quietly. You know, not criticize Leo's decorating or anything, but he could only do so much.

Laura was just going to sit in here and read a book, she wanted to make sure her hair was great and her uniform was on neatly just in case the Librarian came into the room because he had done loads for her and so the least she could do was respect his Library and make sure everyone else knew that it was important that they dressed smartly.

Laura took out a book and started to read after she had used a hand mirror to make sure that she was looking smart which she was she sat down next to someone without looking to see who it was. "So what class are you looking forwards to most?" Laura asked without looking up from her book. Well it had to be a student she sat next to right.

Hadley had been in a daze mostly, contemplating decorations and such for the new room, when she barely noticed one of hers slide in next to her and begin reading right away. It wasn't until the girl spoke, when Fina glanced around to see whom she was chatting with. Because it had to have been another student, judging from the question, wasn't it?

Deciding to play along and pretend she was a fellow student for just a few moments, she sat down next to her, careful to conceal her face now. "Oh probably Muggle Studies. Kinda disheartened there won't be Arithmancy this year, but it was a waste of time anyway..."

Laura just sat reading her book, whilst not paying any attention to who it was standing up. "Oh I love Muggle Studies, it's an awesome subject, though sometimes I think the Professor would rather be back teaching Arithmancy." Laura had no idea why that was. "Though I think Professor Hadley doesn't realise how lucky she is, Arithmancy is just numbers that get confusing, where with Muggle Studies you can do anything." Laura beamed. She wondered who the student was.

"Anyway I haven't introduced myself." Laura still had her head in her book. "I'm Laura Hope Hyde, Seventh Year, Hufflepuff." Laura really couldn't get used to saying that but it was true. "Who's your favourite Professor?" Laura suddenly asked out of the blue.

So Laura still hadn't taken notice of her? Interesting .... And what was that she was saying? Fina bit her tongue to keep from lashing out at the girl. Arithmancy was certainly more than just numbers!! "Well I think that Professor Hadley is great regardless, but Arithmancy is more ... magical. Muggle Studies is mundane, don't you think?"

I know who you are... Hadley thought vividly, resisting the urge to speak back to Laura, as she thought of a psuedo-name quickly. "Nice to meet you, Laura. I'm ... Leanne. Leanne Mancini." Because there was no way she would know her sister's name - or married name, for that matter. "Ravenclaw. Seventh year as well." Who was her favorite professor? "Oh, I couldn't possibly pick just one. What about you?"

Laura was still blissfully unaware of who she was talking too. "Oh Yes Professor Hadley is my favourite Professor." Laura beamed. "Though of course I think the Librarian is awesome as well." Laura continued to read her book this was very interesting.

"Well it's nice to meet you Leanne." Laura said from behind her book. "You got any plans for after you leave school." Laura was so not going to get into an argument about Arithmancy she hated the subject but she knew that some of the students would love it.

Shrugging was an Olly thing apparently. Like the smirking, except none of that was happening today.

"Who says you're not wanted?" Dora raised an eyebrow in question. Sure she wasn't radiating a warm welcome, but that certainly didn't mean she didn't want the girl around. The sixth year actually wasn't sure about how she felt towards Olly. Her leaving (again) certainly wouldn't make whatever feelings she was having positive though. "You should get to know me better before you start making judgements on who I do and don't want around."

HAHAHAHAHA!

Dora was kidding right? Or being sarcastic or something. Because, seriously, the vibe she was giving off was DEFINITELY not welcoming. It actually bordered on hostility. Olly raised her eyebrows while turning around again to give the other girl a pointed look. "It was implicit." No, nobody had SAID it out loud but come on!

It WAS interesting how Dora seemed to want her to stick around for a little longer. Why, though?

Olly took a couple of steps towards the Ravenclaw again, watching her curiously with her eyes slightly narrowed. "You DO want me around then?" And whatever the answer to that would be, she had just decided that she WAS in fact going to do that. Stick around. So she sat down in a chair facing Dora. Well?

Ana in her adventures around the castle had somehow ended up in the Library. She wasn't sure how she got there, or how she'd get back but she wasn't too worried about that at the moment anyway. She'd grabbed a book and was looking to find somewhere to read it when she spotted a girl that she'd seen around in class and decided that it would be nice to say hello. And there was a professor there as well so she could maybe get to know them before class time.

Walking over to the pair she offered them a smile before speaking hesitantly. "Hello Professor," she said chirpily before adding a bit more unsurely, "Hi Laura," or at least she thought that's what the older girl's name was. If it wasn't this would be embarrassing.

Laura was suddenly taken aback when someone said, hi Professor there was no Professor in the room. "EH..." Laura just continued to read from her book. "Leanne?" Laura was getting a bit worried now. "Tell me is there a Professor in this room?" Laura nudged her new friend, hopefully she would tell him if there was a Professor somewhere in the room and if there was when did the said Professor come into the room.

Laura didn't bother looking up from her book when the new girl entered the room but well she would be nice and say hi. "Hi.." Laura didn't know the girls name. "How are you today?" Laura then smiled. "Oh and the person sat next to me is Leanne Mancini, Seventh Year, Ravenclaw." Laura pointed to her new friend, still blissfully unaware of who it really was.

Those looks went noted and ignored by Dora. Okay? Okay. "If you say so." It wasn't worth arguing. If Dora had felt something strongly towards Olly, the other girl would know it, and wouldn't just be standing there, of that she was certain.

"I haven't decided yet." She supplied honestly, eyes fixed on the Hufflepuff. "And I can't decide if you leave prematurely." But it looked as if she wasn't and Dora's expression relaxed to a more satisfyingly thoughtful one. "See? That wasn't so difficult. Now." She leaned back in her seat, ignoring her own book for a moment. "What are you reading, and why are you here?" Because Dora actually DID want to know that.

She didn't ask questions she didn't want the honest answer to.

Yes, Olly said so.

Dora wasn't exactly very good at making up her mind, now, was she? It was really very easy, though. She either wanted Olly to stay or not. It was a simple yes or no scenario. And while Olly, personally, didn't really care either way she had decided FOR Dora in a way by sitting down. There, now she didn't have to make up her mind. Not right now anyway.

Because Olly WAS in fact staying. For now.

Difficult? "I wasn't the one being difficult." Olly objected calmly with her eyebrows raised, watching Dora closely. Ah, more questions. More questions about her book. Why was she so interested in her book? Olly shrugged. "Just...something for school." Moving on. "I just checked to see what this room was." Which was true. And then she'd seen Dora and had decided to.....err...say hi?

Wandering throughout the library, Lux had stumbled upon a room she had never even knew existed. Looking around it, she noticed that it contained loads of books and magazines, as well as comfy looking sofas. It made total sense that this was news to her of course, since she was only a Second Year, and as such had no real reason to wander over to where the Restricted Section was. But boredom had taken over, and one of the things Lux liked to do when she was bored was to explore.

Heading over to where the magazines were located, she saw that they were related to different magical professions such as Healing or Wizarding Journalism. Scanning through the reading options, she finally spotted one related to Quidditch and happily picked it up before heading over to one of the sofas. Reading Quidditch magazines never ceased to put her in a good mood, she thought as she slowly flipped through the pages.

The library was possibly Lily’s second favorite place at Hogwarts, aside from out at the lake. Of course, she had other reasons to like being out there now, but the library reminded her of Aunt Elizabeth’s house, oddly enough. That and being a Ravenclaw, which was more her reason for being there now than thinking about her family. She just liked books, and this was where they lived. Well, here and up in Ravenclaw Tower, both in the study area up there and her own personal stash. These were different than those, though, although she was curious if Mr. Kitridge had any of her aunt’s books in here. She hadn’t found them yet, but that didn’t mean it wasn’t possible. She still had a whole other term than just this one to look, too, but first, she stumbled upon a room tucked into a corner near the Restricted Section. That wasn’t something she remembered, either from last term or stories.

Peeking inside, she saw the comfy chairs and the rest of the setup inside and was compelled to continue inside. There was a chance what she’d been looking for was in there, anyway, and she had started perusing the shelves before noticing that there was a person in there with her. A vaguely familiar person reading a Quidditch magazine, and she stepped closer. “Hi,” she said, craning her neck to try and look at the title of the magazine just out of curiosity. “You were in the girls bathroom. You knew Ana?,” she continued, just to keep the conversation going and hoping the question had made sense. Plus, she wasn’t going to find out if she was right without asking, even if that whole situation had still been so weird that she wouldn’t have blamed the younger girl for blocking it from memory. She sort of wished she could.
