Well, this was interesting, Altair thought as he came across a statue he'd never seen before. Actually there were a lot of things he hadn't seen before, so this was just something he could scratch off his list. That is, if he had a list. Well, the bloke looked interesting and must've done something of great importance to be made a statue.

"I doubt I'll ever be worthy of a statue," he mumbled to himself. Altair took a moment to take out his wand. It was such a strange feeling. He hadn't really looked at it since he got it at Olivander's. It was the first time he had showed any sign of magic, which terrified him at the same time. He just didn't like the idea of having that much power. Magic could be evil or good. "Well, obviously you chose the latter if they made a statue out of you." Altair shrugged. He probably looked odd there, talking to a statue.

APPLE BOTTOM JEANS. BOOTS WITH THE FUR WITH THE FUR AND THE WHOLE CLUB WAS LOOKING AT HER.

The second year's bouncy curls bounced about as she bopped her head to no actual audible music, but it was there in her head and it was a song she loved, a song she really loved no matter how old it got.

Swiiiiish. She slided randomly as she continued to walk with her head bopping.

SHE HIT THE FLOOR SHE HIT THE FLOOR NEXT THING YOU KNOW ..AWKWARD BOY TALKING TO THE STONE, STONE,STONE...STONE.

Giggle snort. "Well you seem to be good mates with Gregory." Yes she actually took the time to remember the statues name.

Bay was walking along the fifth floor when he stopped to wait for Christmas at this Statue.. this is where they were supposed to meet right! Bay had been so busy with school work and even though they were in the same house he felt like he hasn't seen her in ages… he missed his Christmas.

Looking up at the Statue he said "Wow this things is just a tad creepy" saying to no one but himself.

Christmas crept up behind Bay and kissed his cheek and said "I missed you so much Bay"

Bay felt something on his cheek and he soooo hoped it was Christmas, he turned around and was so glad he was right.. he swopped her up in a big hug "I've missed you too" while swinging her around in a circle.

placing her down gently he took a piece of her hair and twirled it in his own fingers.. "Classes are crazy!!!! Maybe when the summer comes either I can come visit you or you can visit me??" he knew it was too early for him to plan ahead but right now he just wanted to spend as much time together as possible.

Taking her hand he stared at the statue.. "is it me or is this thing kind of creepy?" he asked her.

Christmas nodded and said "Yeah classes have been crazy, let's just see what happens for the summer and yeah it kind of creepy but a major part of our history"

Bay smiled, thank goodness for their little break. "did you see what happened in Astronomy?" he asked her for it was a crazy event. "Sounds good, i'll keep that idea in my pocket for now"

"yeah… i get it but it still kind of scares me.." Bay turned his head away so he didn't have to look at it. "so what did you do today..?" asking her and swinging her hand in his.

Christmas smiled and said "I did not see what happened in Astronomy care to tell me and i have not been doing much apart from studying"

oh yay she didn't know what happen so Bay felt like he had big news to tell her. "oh well in the middle of the class the professor like blew out his back… I guess thats what happened….. and like the Headmistress came and the Grounds Keeper did too and we got dismissed early… poor guy man" he told her with excitement and of course using his hands to describe everything..

"Yeah i've been studying a lot too, got my OWL's… and if I can ever help you study for your NEWT's I'm just the man for the job" he pointed to himself… he hoped he could help..

Okay, why was this thing so creepy?

Lux had been making her way down the fifth floor corridor, when suddenly she spotted a weird looking statue that she knew had once concealed a secret passageway. Curious, she started inspecting the statue to see if there was any way that she could get a glimpse of the old tunnel that was now caved in.

It would be a lot easier if the thing didn't give her the heebie-jeebies.

Laura was walking down the corridor when she saw once of her friends. She smiled as she looked at the girl. "LISA!!!!!!!!!!" Laura whispered as she got close to the girl and tapped on the girls shoulder, she was now looking for her hairbrush. "Have you seen my hairnet anywhere?" Laura smiled at the girl in front of her.

When a girl tapped her on the shoulder, Lux almost had a heart attack. Jumping slightly, she felt her heart beating fast as she turned around. Oh, it was only Laura. "Sorry, I haven't seen a hairnet anywhere." Who even wore hairnets as a teenager?

Laura looked at the girl in front of her. "So Lisa." Laura smiled as she looked at the girl. "Oh I meant Hairbrush, H...I...A...R...B..R...U...S" Laura sighed why was she getting the name of the object wrong it wasn't like her normally. "Also if you don't mind can you speak a bit quieter?" Laura asked her friend, she didn't know why but her friend was speaking loudly.

Errr.... Lisa? "My name is Lux, Laura." Seemed that her friend was one of the students with their memory fried. "Sorry," she added in a whisper when she was asked to tone it down. "I haven't seen your hairbrush anywhere." Of course she had no idea what Laura's hairbrush looked like, but as she hadn't seen any floating around period, it was safe to make that assumption.

Laura looked at Lux and smiled. "That's what I said Lisa." Laura was sure she was getting her friends name right. "Okay then, maybe I left it somewhere in this big hotel." Laura beamed. "Want to come and see if you can find it, then we can go down and get something to eat and maybe talk to a waiter or two."

Err, no. Not Lisa. Lux. Her name was LUX. "I'm not Lisa, Laura." Being patient, because she understood that Laura was clrely suffering from confusion and memory loss. "Yes, lets search the castle." Emphasizing that they were not in a hotel like the confused Seventh Year thought they were.

"Who said your name was Lisa?" Laura looked at Lux seriously was Lux losing the plot here. "Maybe we should take you to see the nurse?" Laura looked at her friend a bit worried. "You seem to be hearing things." Laura sighed that was a bad sign and so was feel so tired after climbing all the stairs to get here which is why she wasn't sure she wanted to go and get some food now.

Sigh. "You called me Lisa." Being as patient as possible since she understood that this was not Laura's fault; and really she felt sorry for the older girl. "Do you want to look for your brush? Or go somewhere else?" Gently reminding her in case she had forgotten why she had even came here in the first place. Lux would not mind helping the girl look, but Hogwarts is a huge place and it could take a while. She also had a feeling that Laura would have forgotten where she had already searched, or even what the thing looked like. Oh dear, this was going to be interesting.

Laura looked at Lux. "When?" Laura was sure she had called Lux, Lux since well that was her name. "Brush what brush?" Laura was getting confused now, which wasn't much these days. "I don't have you brush if that what your trying to say." Laura was shocked that her friend was accusing her of steeling her brush.

Oh, sweet Circe.

Lux put her hand to her head. This was not going well at all. "You told me you lost your hairbrush." It had happened only a few minutes before! "You asked me if I had seen it." Praying to Merlin that she would remember all this with some prompting. Goodness, she was not accusing Laura of stealing anything from her! Her brush was not even missing; it was in her dorm room... which gave her a sudden thought. "Are you sure your brush isn't in your dormitory?"

Laura looked at Lux and was getting very confused. "Why would I tell you that you have lost your hairbrush?" Laura was really worried about Lux mentality at the minute. "And if your asking me if I've seen it then no I haven't, though mine seems to have disappeared as well maybe someone took them that likes brushes?" Laura thought that was crazy "And no I'm not in the dormitory I'm here talking to you." Now that was a silly question for Lux to ask right. "You alright Lux?"

"You lost your brush, Laura." She smiled as she kept trying to prompt her friend to remember what she had been talking about only minutes before. Seeing that it seemed a little pointless, however, she decided that maybe it was about time to give it up until the older girl's memory came back. Then the search for the brush could continue. "Would you like to go on a walk or something, Laura?"

Laura looked at Lux "So Lisa, you lost your brush and I've lost mine." Yes Laura was getting that from the youngster but why did she have to keep repeating it. "I'm sure they will turn up." Laura said as she looked at her friend. "Have you tried in your bag?" Laura sighed maybe it was in there.

Laura looked around to see who was near. "DO I HAVE TOO." Laura pouted it was very hard walking this castle you know. "Can't you carry me down to the common room." Laura thought that was a great idea. "Be good for your muscles you know."

Yeah, Lux was so done with this brush thing, so she decided to pretend that Laura had not mentioned it anymore. "Walking is good for you. But we can stay here if you do not want to walk." There was no way that she would be able to carry Laura around.
