Botros, with the help of the librarian, did some preparations before everything looked good for the match. They took their place in the center of the court to wait for the players from Hufflepuff and Slytherin to start filing in. When a group of student's from each house had formed around them, professor Botros spoke to them as well as the people in the stands. "Welcome everyone to this second Gobstones match in the seasons." Smiles for everyone, of course.

"Good luck to both houses." Botros grinned widely, and handed the stones to their respective houses before taking his place on the sideline with the librarian.

For the first round in the match, Head Boy Alec Summers stepped up for the Hufflepuffs and Grace Peyton walked up for the Slytherins. Both players exchanged a nod, though the Hufflepuff one was accompanied with overly nice grin, and released their shooters.

The stones sped across the board, neck-by-neck if you may, bumping and trying to set the other one off course. Up until the Hufflepuff stone took a twist and touched the Jack Stone seconds before the Slytherin's did.

"A point to Hufflepuff!" Botros announced happily.

Summers stays for the Hufflepuff team, but Prefect Theodore Kinsley steps up for the Slytherin giving the two lovebirds of Hufflepuff a disgusted look as they exchanged a cheesy good-luck glance. Players release their shooters and the stones are unleashed on the board. Professor Botros follows the stones with his eyes, his hands deeply tucked in his pockets, the Slytherin stone is trying to catch up with the Hufflepuff one but fails as the yellow stone touches the Jack Stone causing the score to go higher even.

"Three points go to Hufflepuff." Botros says.

Same players for the next round, professor Botros gave the two boys the que to release the stones and they did. The Slytherin stone encountered some difficulties at first where it got stuck rolling and rolling but soon enough it tried catching up to the Hufflepuff stone, only too late. The golden yellow stone touched the Jack Stone ending this round. The Slytherin stone released the awful gob.

"Points belong to Hufflepuff." And on to another round.

Summers stays for the next round while Grace Paton takes Kinsley's place for the Slytherins. The stones speed across the board at the exact same time, everyone follows them with their eyes and with anticipation. The green stone almost reaches the goal but the Hufflepuff one bounces over and touches the Jack Stone.

"One point goes to Hufflepuff!" Again.
