 Image by LilFox06 OOC: Before posting in this thread, you must first have been called back by Healer Tillstorm. To be seen by the Healer, please post in the Check-in Area for Patients first, then in the Waiting Room for Patients and Visitors.
Upon entering the Hospital Ward and Healing Area, you'll come upon a long hallway that eventually forks into two different directions. You'll want to proceed to the right, the direction that will take you to the Healing Areas. Healer Tillstorm will be waiting for you. It is in the Healing Area that you'll receive the medical attention that will hopefully heal you right away and send you back to classes and your everyday life.
If, however, you aren't able to be healed right away and your character is in a rather serious condition, you will be escorted to the Observation Ward, where you will receive further medical attention.
OOC: Once your character is seen and tended to, Healer Tillstorm will deem them "well" and able to return to classes/everyday life. If your character continues to suffer from repeat conditions, it's likely that he or she will be admitted into the Room for Quarantined Patients. If this happens, you will be temporarily placed in the "Quarantined" user group, and your posting in the school will be temporarily limited to the "Quarantined" thread only.
I will lock these threads once a session is finished. When a new session, and a new student is assigned to the room, the thread will be reopened. | |

The Healer might have been taking a page out of Culloden's book here but she didn't have time to scowl or protest despite her being positive Miss Cambridge could work just as well as Prefect Cambridge. This was a matter more important than naming choice at the moment because half a head of grey hair had the potential to become a FULL head of grey hair in no time at all.
The thought had her biting off a large chunk of her chocolate frog in one go. It was deeply worrying. Lex flopped onto the bed, leaving enough room for Lottie to have a seat as well then fished out her fourth chocolate frog.
"I think I've been cursed Healer Tillstorm and the regular spells used to end that kind of thing aren't working." More like Lottie thought she was but she had no other explanations to offer up so that would be the one she'd go with. "We've tried dying it blonde again but it just goes back to grey. Persistent thing it is." Persistent and annoying.
Clearly they needed professional help.

Was this girl seriously going to sit there and eat chocolate? Had she not learned her lesson over the years that there was NO candy allowed to be eaten in the infirmary. "Miss Cambridge. I don't care what the reason is that you are in here for," she said as she reached out and snatched what was left of the chocolate frog out of the girl's hand. "You know the rules. No eating candy while in the infirmary." She then tossed the piece of chocolate in the trash bin.
Now on to the reson the girl was here. Her old age. "Just exactly how long have you been having this... problem?" She asked pointing to the girl's head. Cece knew there was an issue of this sort going around the castle, but she had figured it was a prank someone was pulling on others. Most likely someone slipping an aging potion in the food or drinks in the great hall. Which is why Cece was never caught eating anything from this school. She didn't trust anyone.

The tone the Healer used told her she'd better gear up for a lecture but what she DIDN'T expect or no, no need to lie to herself, she saw this coming was the Healer snatching her chocolate. Her eyes widened as she tried to anticipate the woman's next move, silently whispering a prayer that the chocolate would not be harmed but there was no such luck and the Gryffindor gave a little squeak when her baby ended up in the bin.

Was that REALLY necessary? She could have asked her to put it away. How hard would that have been? Chocolate murderer, that's what she was and for a moment Lex could think of nothing to say as her eyes lingered on the bin that had helped the Healer take her candy from her.
Were she a couple years younger...she might have cried. She shot a quick but pathetic look to Lottie, wondering if she just SAW that before giving her full attention to the Healer. "About two weeks I guess? It started off with a lock then it grew to being several. Lottie and I decided to wait a bit but now it's gotten half my hair. Please say you can fix it."
PLEASE.

Honestly, she could've waited for Lex back there in the waiting room, unless Lex needed a witness or something. But she still went behind her, and didn't sit on the bed... that was something for Miss Cambridge to do. Lottie had no problems whatsoever and...
...heh. Okay, so, that little gesture of taking Lex's chocolate frog made her like the Healer. A bit. You know. There may have been a small smile on her face. There was.
Her name was mentioned, so the Hogwartian nodded once. Her input wasn't needed, the information was true. | |

Cece held back her smile at the look on ALexa's face when she threw away the chocolate. Really, the girl should have known what to expect. It wasn't as if the healer hadn't done this same exact thing to the girl before.
Now to the real reason for this visit. The gray hair. "Have you ever stopped to think that maybe it's from all that chocolate you stuff in your face? You know that stuff does weird things to the body." Okay, so it doesn't turn hair gray. But it could make the girl fat if she kept eating it the way she does.

Well, what do you know? Lottie did NOT consider that. Ironically so, considering she'd taken Lex to Lafay for a cure to a Love Potion administrated via chocolate frogs, WAS IT NOT??????
She squinted at Lex, and then tilted her head in the Healer's direction. "It wouldn't be the first time something happens because of chocolate frogs....," or ice cream. Just sayiiiiing.
But, other than that comment, Lottie kept quiet, clearly giving reason to the Healer instead of her best friend. Hey, what are friends for? Exactly! | |

They were both going on about nonesense...well....the Healer was but Lottie was being kinda right which wasn't meant to happen because this was NOT about the chocolate frogs and they needed to leave them out of this!! None of the aging was their fault, she'd been eating them for ages.
Lex gave a firm shake of her head indicating her disbelief. "I've been eating candy I got before coming to school so I'm sure they aren't contaminated and I'm the only one I know devouring chocolate frogs the way I do but there are others infected too--like my friend Jun, he's getting wrinkles...of course he eats lots of candy too...--but there's Mo, he's not that big on sugar and he's getting grey hair too. Thought I hexed it on him but I didn't."
See? No need to blame the chocolate. "Only thing chocolate does is make you fat and I'm sure I've lost a steady five pounds since this all started." WOULD SUGAR EVER DO THAT?
HMMMMM???

See. Even Alexa's friend thought it was the chocolate causing these problems.
Alexa on the other hand. Of course that girl would find any reason she could not to blame the chocolate. "So what you're telling me is you haven't eaten any candy at all other than what you brought to school with you?"
Wait.
There were others? As in others that played quidditch others? "These others. When did their problems start? Was it before or after quidditch season started?" Alexa wasn't the first quidditch player she had seen for these problems, and now she was finding out there were others.
Was it possible that quidditch needed to be banned from the school had a role in this aging problem?

She was merely stating a fact here, you know? Lex knew people could put potions and whatnot into chocolate frogs or chocolate anything or any kind of candy she might eat. Her preference for sweets over anything was no secret.
That was a weakness, no doubt.
What does this have to do with Quidditch, though? Surely the Healer was just creating a timeline of sorts and not blaming the sport, right? That Jun kid Lex mentioned didn't play Quidditch.

That was EXACTLY what she was saying. "Yup, only candy I've seen coming from the source, no room for it getting spiked and even if, I'd tell the difference." It was true. Even with the Amortentia-ed chocolate frogs she had tasted the difference...it's just it was too late by then but the ones she had were fine. She didn't feel any different and her mind didn't feel trapped in a prison of sorts while she watched the rest of herself make a fool of her.

Where was she going with this Quidditch talk? This was going to have to be a 'no' as well. An absolute 'no' because she hadn't played a match yet and wasn't about to miss out on Healer's order. There was hardly a connection. Maybe with Mo but Jun...he tried out...she just didn't know what happened after that.
Nope. No blaming the sport.
"I dunno when Mo started greying exactly or when Jun got wrinkles but mine were about the time of tryouts. It's not their fault though. Louisa says I might just be stressing about OWLs too much. See this is why I shouldn't take school work so seriously." The should ban OWLs not Quidditch. Now there was an idea!
