Why didn't he do this more often?
Coul sat back against the corridor way, looking up at the moving painting, legs stretched out straight and comfortable with a bag of popcorn in his left hand. He wasn't particularly a fan of paintings or dancing or trolls really, for that matter, but this was almost relaxing. Almost. And it was quiet. So there was that.
He popped a bit of popcorn, brown eyes directed up at the painting, not having moved them to look at the bag to pick out some popcorn for his hungry mouth. He grinned a bit, holding back some laughter as the trolls did their spins and Barnabas scolded them for their incorrect attempts.
Coul supposed it was better them than him.

... Why was she here again?
Oh, right. Delilah had decided to walk up the stairs because that's good exercise? Since she didn't want to go swimming in this weather. The last thing she wanted was to fall sick during Christmas. But, she felt so tired. More so than she'd usually be. It obviously had something to do with the old-age disease that seemed to be spreading. At least, her hair was still blonde. She SO wasn't ready for grey hair. Ew.
... And she suddenly realised that she wasn't alone. Delilah walked down the corridor, the corners of her lips lifting up a little. This boy was eating popcorn and looking at.. a tapestry. Oh, THIS was the Barnabus tapestry.
"Hello, there."

He half contemplated accioing some pillows and taking of his shoes to get properly comfortable but he didn't imagine he'd be here for a very long time because someone would probably come along and trip over him. Possibly call him a hazard and then he'd have to move but for now he was here.
..... It didn't take long.
There was no tripping though. Thank Merlin.
He lifted his head at the voice, releasing a small smile for the blonde- someone he was pretty sure Els had issues with. But he was never sure. The only person he really knew she had a problem with was Tag because of the big fight they'd had over it. But now? Eh. He could talk to who he wanted.
"Hi." He took a handful of popcorn and knocked it back before lifting the bag up to the girl. "Po'corn?" Mouthful. Attractive.

Delilah looked at the boy for a moment. He kind of looked faintly familiar.. Wait. Her eyes grew wide when she finally recognised him. Elodie's boyfriend. Um. Gosh, that girl was so mean to her all the time. She already accused her of 'stealing her friends', which was so ridiculous and immature. And if she caught her talking to the boyfriend.. a small smirk made its way to her lips. Oh, who cares?
"Thanks." She winked at him and settled down next to him. The girl popped some popcorn into her mouth, eyeing the tapestry with curiousity. Ooooh! The trolls were dancing ballet. So cute. And they were not that bad, to be honest.
"I'm the girl your girlfriend hates." Interesting way to introduce oneself, yeah? Delilah turned her grey-blue eyes towards him. "Name is Delilah."

Coul nodded. See? People liked food. That's how you made friends. He was getting good at this. But it was a little too late to get good at making friends. He wasn't going to be here much longer. That was kind of unfortunate.
"I thought you looked familiar. She's very protective of people. Don't worry too much about it." he shrugged and took some more popcorn into his mouth. He didn't really get why Els had a problem with a lot of people. But she probably had these super well thought out reasons and he didn't mind so long as it wasn't him that was getting the hate. "I'm Coul."
He would give her a hand to shake but currently one was holding the popcorn and the other was covered very nicely in butter and salt and he was about 90% sure that girls didn't take to dirty things well. So he just gave her a nod and glanced back at the tapestry.
"You're new." He knew.

Delilah resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Protective over people by ridiculously mean to everyone else. But, of course, he was the boyfriend. He had to support her, right? "Of course not. I think she's rather amusing." .. And she actually was. And very creative, too. Like maybe, she kept a journal and came up with new insults everyday. Anyway, enough about that girl.
She munched on her popcorn and watched the ballet for a moment, trying really hard not giggle. They WERE rather adorable, okay? But.. "Do you think I should offer them some suggestions?" She whispered. The girl could help them. Kind of. Not sure if they'd be willing to accept it, though.
"Yes, I am. How did you guess? Or maybe you know that already..." Hm. Delilah turned to look at him and raised an eyebrow. "You're not new."

The boy shrugged. He was pretty sure she was half being mean half trying to make conversation even if it was about someone she didn't really like. It was kinda funny that most girls tried to beat around the bush about how they felt about people. Except Els. She just told people she hated them. He liked that about her. "She can be when you catch her right." Mhm.
Coul dug back into the popcorn, even peeked into the bag to make sure he didn't take an kernels or bad pieces. "Why? Do you know how to dance?" He did too. Just not ballet or anything lame like that. He could casual dance and do a little bit of the break dancing thing. But eh. "Maybe you ought to step in."
He tapped his head briefly with his index finger. "I know things." Well mostly he watched people and didn't talk to them. Besides, he was pretty sure he would have heard about her already from Els had she been around a bit longer. Even so, he knew of just about everyone. He just didn't really talk to any of them. He shook his head. "Been around a while." A good long while. Like four years.

No. Delilah pretty much always found her rather amusing, especially when she was being mean. Not that what she said wasn't hurtful.. but frankly, Delilah didn't really care about she thought anymore. She had better things to think about, look forward to, better people to talk to than listen to Elodie talk crap about her. Heh. But, this boy didn't need to know all of this. So. No comments.
"Well, yeah. I can. I'm really good at waltz, though. Leant it for my sister's wedding and now, I'm quite the expert." Except that she was really clumsy but yeah. She rather liked that particular form of dance. Very classy and elegant. Plus, you get to dance with a boy. Nice, eh? "I don't know.. I can't ballet." She reached for another popcorn and popped it into her mouth.
"That sounds rather creepy, you know." Delilah grinned a little, nudging him a little. But, okay. He'd probably heard it from someone. She turned to look at his face properly, a curious glint in her eyes. "How long?"
