It was time for Professor Flamedude's class. He was hoping this would be a cool one to go to since he had met the professor over the summer and again at the lake hehehe. Plus astronomy was more doing like looking at things than reading so not a huge book class score on that thought. He really hoped it would be better than the last two he had been to. Snore fest for both and as of now only one other professor had made the cool list.

Seeing the lint roller he picked it up and brushed his robes off hoping that's what he was suppose to do with it. Kind of an odd thing, but he was familiar with odd things.

Moving into class he gave the Professor a huge grin that followed with a yawn mid sentence, "Hello *yawn* Professor." oops didn't mean to yawn but it was night fall. So he would usually be zonked out in his favorite bludger and quaffle pj's. He saw him with that fish again, "I like to talk to animals too. It's fun." He wondered if the professor ever got the fish to talk back now that would be cool.

Lex wasn't gonna lie, this was one of the classes she was genuinely excited for. She'd been looking forward to it ever since she checked her schedule during dinner. Never a dull moment in that class.

Alexa paused by the door and got the lint roller all over and everywhere it needed to. The Professor wasn't a fan of lint....she didn't know WHAT lint was but she was under the impression this roller got rid of it so.....rolling. Before entering, she tucked the lock of gray hair behind her ear, hoping it wouldn't stand out that much. Never again would she study, just look what it was doing to her.

"Good evening Professor." The Gryffindor's eyes were trained on the box. "Anything explosive tonight?"

Yes? No?

"Are we exploding the fish?" Lex casually strolled closer to the tank, giving it a few light taps.

Two years of Astronomy had given Tobias enough experience of where the best seat was in Astronomy. It wasn't like other classes, with their formal desk set-up. Toby liked the semi-circle thing that Professor Flamsteed had going on, and would probably feel all out of place in the class if the man ever decided to be more like the other professors when it came to the seating arrangement.

After using the lint roller on his uniform, the Hufflepuff entered and paused for a second to glance around the room. Finding that there was nothing too out of the ordinary, save that black box over there, Tobias continued into the classroom and took a seat at his favourite desk; one that gave him a good view of the grounds (when it was light out) and the sky (when it was not). He set his bag down and started taking out his writing supplies.

"Hello Professor Flamsteed," he addressed the professor, who was talking to... "Hi Professor Dursley."

Ahem.

Yes.

When Tobias had everything out, he leaned his elbows on the desk and started absentmindedly twirling the feathered end of his quill around a lock of his own hair. They'd get to sit for this lesson, yeah? Maybe? It was kinda doubtful, actually, but at least they'd get a rest.

It was a lot of stairs up to the Astronomy tower, after all.

Please why would Nigel use the lint brush for his hair. He already brushed his hair before coming to class. You can not have awesome hair without taking care of it. Nigel did in fact use the lint roller to make sure he was lint free. lint on suits was disgusting. Ah back to the semi circle. Nigel noticed this and the black box as he entered the room. Very mysterious box. Wonder if it makes green beards like that thing last term.

"Hello Professor Flamsteed. Nice suit as always. We won't get green beards if you peak in the black box will we?"

What was with the fish tank though. This was not Care of Magical Creatures. Whatever fish never interested Nigel anyway.

Adi distractedly used the lint roller not even bothering to ponder on the usual question of who would use the lint roller as a hair brush. Why was he distracted? Well, he had found THREE grey hairs in his head that morning! He found the one in his comb and then he found three more at the front of his head after examining it with a mirror. He wasn't old! No where close to being old! So why was there grey hairs in his head?

Still worrying about his grey hair, he took time to greet the Professor. "Hello, Professor!'' Oh the man had his fish tank. Talking to fish. That wasn't weird at all. People talked to animals all the time. "Looking forward to today's lesson.'' He grinned, eyeing the black box and wondering what was in it before heading off to find a seat.

Awwwwwwwww yeaaaaah! Astronomy. Her favorite subject of all! Awar passed the lint roller, routinely, over her clothes and then set it back on the table.

"Hello there..." She started, peering at the box, then at the fish tank. "....Professor. How are you doing today?"

She picked a seat near the front, but not exaaactly the front and settled in comfortably.

Kace was excited to go to Astronomy. This was one of his favorite classes. I mean the teacher was always dressed nicely and he was just simply awesome. He hoped to be him someday. As he made his way to the classroom, he realized he wasn't the only one here. He saw other students. But he saw the professor near the fish tank and he went over to investigate.

"Hey Professor! Nice fish tank you got there. What kind of fishes are in there?" he asked curiously.

Christmas entered the Astronomy classroom and spotted the lint roller and used it on her robes cause she knew that Professor Flamsteed was always one for getting rid of anything that lay on the robes and said "Good Evening Professor" Christmas took a seat and waited for class to start

Stepping inside the classroom, Lux looked around curiously before heading over to one of the desks and taking a seat. Noticing the Professor by a fish tank, she saw that it was the same one who had been in the girl's bathroom with his foot in a bucket. Well.... this was certainly weird. "Hello, Professor! How are you doing today?"

Astronomy was one of those lessons that Terry did quite enjoy. The walk from the Common Room up however was extremely long and tiring and quite frankly he was grateful to have a seat once he reached the top. This was why he didn't play Quidditch, his stamina wasn't that great, especially at this time of the day when Terry could easily be sleeping.

He paused at the door, noticing the lint roller. His robes weren't covered in pet fur or dirty but he picked it up anyway, brushing down his clothes quickly but thoroughly. Eh. Good enough.

He stepped into the classroom, just in time to spot the professor talking to the fish and Lex asking the strangest question. "Hello Professor" he greeted whilst giving Lex a strange look. Blowing up the fish? What was going through that girls mind? A, that was extremely cruel to the fish and B, why would they do that in the classroom?

He sat in the desk next to her, his eyebrow raised as he looked at her.

His. Chin. Was. So. ITCHY!

Rub rub rub... walk walk walk... rub rub rub...

That's what Alec did all the way up towards the Astronomy classroom, only stopping by the boy's bathroom to splash some water over his chin area and then dry his face. It helped relieve the itch just that little bit, even if it left the boy feeling as confused as ever. Stubble had never grown this quickly before but not soon after his eighteenth birthday, things seemed to have sped up in that area. Good. Maybe. Curly Wade would be proud. The girlfriend might not. Itchy kisses, you know.

... Who... would use a lint roller as a hairbrush? BLINK.

Eyeing the sign curiously, the seventh year de-linted himself before stepping into the classroom and taking a look around. Nothing weird except... for the black box at the front of the classroom. Remembering the green beard situation with Minnie, Alec decided to stay as far away from that black box as possible. Instead, he was going too concentrate in something else up at the front of the classroom. Or... someone else. "Hello Professor!" And... a fish tank? Should he... ask? Probably not. "Nice fish." Not asking.

Grinning at the man, the Head Boy headed over towards an empty seat and sat down. He pulled out his things and set them out on his desk before letting his bag drop to the floor underneath the desk. Grey-blue eyes were now fixed on the black box while his hand absent-mindedly went up to his chin again. Curious... very... curious.

Rub rub rub...

Emma cheerfully grabbed the lint roller, taking extra care to make sure that every inch of her robes got taken care of. Oh yes. Cleanliness, one of the many reasons she enjoyed this class so much.

Ooh. A fish! Maybe they were gonna do something with the fish!

"Good evening, Professor!" She cheerfully greeted the man before taking her place in the semi circle. All right, stars and moons and constellations and fish. Emma could handle that.

Marissa walked into the Astronomy classroom for the first time since she had never made it last term. "Good morning Professor." she said as looked around and took an empty seat.

Astronomy. Sophie didn't mind this class much. She was neither overly-excited nor overly-bored with it. It was just a tolerable class. At least Flamsteed made it fun, though. She entered the classroom and took that initial glance around as she looked for a seat. What she saw, though, was the professor talking to...a tank of fish?

Hmm...

Sophie made her way through the room and passed by the professor. "Hello, Professor," she said. A tank of fish. Mmkay...

A. The professor had possibly gone mad, or...
B. Those fish were really people with the ability to change into fish, or...
C. Those were some really special fish.

Either way, Sophie thought it best to observe from afar. She chose a seat on the opposite side of the room and sat down.

Slowly.

Ella was inching slowly towards the classroom, hand on her lower back because ouch, painful. She'd had aches and pains after particularly hard workouts and stuff but really, she had no idea where this particular hurt had come from. Whatever it was, it wasn't welcome. Go away, pain, see you never.

Also something that needed to go away, any lint she was carrying on her. Lint rolling happened slowly too...for reasons.

Anyway, Professor Airey was talking to a fish. Normally suspect behavior if it had come from anyone else but Ella wasn't surprised to see the Astronomy professor doing it. The man was in love with a particularly cheerful looking rock for Merlin's sake. Why wouldn't he have a fish for a friend too? Besides, talking to animals was nice. Ella rapped to talked to Dino, Nox, and Donatello all the time. "Hey, Professor!" Just looking at him crouched down like that hurt her back more. "Nice fish you've got there." Fish companion got a finger wiggle in greeting and then Ella looked for a seat by...

Boyfriend!

Smilesssssss for the boyfriend, yup. The head girl took the seat beside him and sat back before saying quietly, "Hey there."

Why...was he rubbing his face like that?

Gwen was excited for this class. She loved horoscopes and things, and that was something like this, right? Just magical and more accurate? She practically bounced into the tower and chose a seat. This was going to be awesome. She was going to be able to tell future from the stars! And Divination too! This school was teaching her the future, and it was awesome!

Sander finally reached the Astronomy classroom. It took him a lot longer than usual because that was a heck of a long climb and he had gotten strangely tired even before he reached the fourth floor of the castle.

Breathing heavily, he peeked into the classroom. He noticed the Professor squatting down next to a large fish tank and wondered firstly, what kind of fish he had in there and secondly, was that the same tank he had occasionally noticed the Professor carrying around the school grounds.

Sander was about to step into the classroom and walk up to him to greet him when he noticed a lint roller lying on a small table just outside the classroom and frowned. He read the sign. 'Okay not to be used for hair. That's obvious. But what is it doing here?" Sander thought to himself.

Then he saw a student pick it up, roll it on their robes before placing it back down and then proceeding into the classroom. Shrugging his shoulders, Sander figured that there was no harm in him using it to clean the lint of his robe either. So he picked it up, rolled the roller along his robes before placing it back down on the table for the next person to use.

With that done, he stepped into the classroom and approached the professor to greet him. "Hello Professor. Nice fish you have there." he told the Professor before wandering off to find an empty desk to sit at. He looked around and was disappointed to see that Tessa hadn't arrived yet.

What on EARTH was the lint roller for? Lucas eyed it surreptitiously for about a minute before he conceded. It was a little kooky but he'd found that all of Hogwarts' Professors were a little different.

Walking into the classroom, he beamed and waved at Lux, taking a seat to her left.

"Evening," he said and then saw someone ELSE he knew. Oh yeah!

"Adi"! Lucas greeted and pointed to the seat beside him. Like, uh, he was welcome to it. Just as long as he didn't decide he wanted to open any more locked doors.

Yes! Astronomy easily one of his favorite subjects. Thanks to Airey or mmm Professor Airey. He didn't even take it when he was in Italy at school last term. He rushed up to classroom without one grumble of how far it was from the Slytherin Common room.

He got up to the classroom took the lint brush used and put it back. He walked into the room calmly but excitedly. He grinned to the Professor "Good eveing, Professor. What's up" Fist bump? because he was a cool dude, professor. Pet fish, he upgraded from the pet rock. Cool. Hello fishes. Or whatever more than one fish were called.

He when and found a seat. Bro he grinned and plopped down next to Summers Yo, Bro. Fist bump for you, too. dude. What was in the black box. He titled his head looking at the box.

Oichi yawned as she made her way up to astronomy tower. Man, I get by now why astronomy class must be held so late but even after all these years I still don't like it. She sighed as she sluggishly reached the door to the tower and opened it. She walked in and saw the professor and could not help but chuckle lightly. She had seen her professors do a lot of strange things but this took the cake. She walked over to the professor and said, "Good evening professor and may I ask, why are you talking to a fish?".

Sander was still a look out for Tessa when he noticed a nice familiar face, sitting near him. Sander leaned over and whispered, "Hi Cucumber. How's it going? Have you seen Tessa today?" Sander asked the younger girl. If there was one person who would know where Tessa was, that would be Lux.

Mo meandered his way into the classroom and squatted beside Professor Flamsteed, peering into the tank and stroking his chin as he tried to see whatever it was the professor was looking for. Hmmm. Hmm. Fish? Maybe there were fish?

And ugh, he had definitely been playing too hard at Quidditch tryouts over the past few days, Mo decided as he straightened back up and felt the muscles in his back and legs protest. Why in the world was Flamsteed standing like that when it was so brutal on his body?

Mo gave himself a roll-over with the lint roller, ignoring the sign that had been placed there specifically for him. That had been JUST ONE TIME, OKAY? Merlin, some people had long memories. He climbed over a few people to get to a seat beside Nigel, who was looking completely unconcerned. Must not be aching from all that Quidditch. "Hey, mate. These evening classes are brutal, aren't they?" He dropped a hand on Nigel's shoulder for balance as he shifted into his seat.

And maybe sighed with relief now that he was there. What a day.

Seventh floor common room = easy hike to the Astronomy classroom.

Schuyler made her way into class with her bad slung over her shoulder. She bypassed Professor Flamsteed's desk on her way to her seat. "Hello, Professor." And she flashed a smiled, too. A little wider than usual because her memory suddenly jogged back to his flustered self at the lake. The second bra incident. Those things seemed more amusing in hindsight.

After dropping her bag on the floor, she found her seat. So, what was the black box?

With the rest of the day rather uneventful besides the occasional lesson and dinner a few hours past, it approached the night time hour the astronomy posting had mentioned. It was probably a good thing Ben had managed a decent night sleep the evening before for tonight was going to be long if last term had proven anything. The second year headed up after leaving the library where he had been studying, finally climbing the last set of stairs to the top of the astronomy tower. Stepping inside of the classroom he spotted several classmates, the professor and the ever-present fishtank and its occupant.

"Good evening, Professor Flamsteed," he greeted with a polite nod as he passed the croached man. Whatever it was with the fish was none of his business. The Gryffindor moving to take an empty seat to await the lesson to begin.
