Default History of Magic Rules and Guidelines

Abide by these rules! No ifs ands or buts, while in the Classroom.

  • Show up to Class ready, and willing to learn. This means that you are to respect Myself and your Classmates. If you come to class only to goof off, and not learn will result in serious consequences.
  • DO NOT COME IN LATE! Showing up to my class late will result in point loss for your house. It's that simple.
  • Uniforms are a must! You should show some House pride. I don't care if you come into class disheveled and unkempt, so long as you've got on your Uniform.
  • Yes, I know History of Magic is a dull and boring class. I've been through your pain, but If I catch anyone using my class as their personal nap time because they didn't get enough sleep the night before I will deduct points from your house. Besides you may miss out on something not as boring as you may think.
  • I don't want you to think that you have to know everything the moment we start class. If you're not sure on an answer give it your best try. You may be surprised, I like creative answers.
  • This is gonna be tough to hear especially for this class, but I want nothing more than you all to have fun, and enjoy your time in this class. So long as it doesn't break any of the rules of course.

HOMEWORK GUIDELINES
  • Please Submit your Homework by owling (aka PMing) me at Professor Dursley
  • Homework is optional, and you do not have to attend a class to do it. Although both are highly encouraged if you wish to earn house points.
  • Title your homeworks as such "History of Magic Homework #1" or abbreviated "HoM HW #1" or any combination of the two. I need to know what you're sending me obviously.

  • Only the first Homework you submit will be counted, any other ones sent to me will not be read. Make you you've triple checked it, and made sure you have everything you need before sending it to me. Any homeworks submitted after deadline will not be read.
  • please include the following at the top of your PM
Username
Character Name
House
Member ID Number

Your Member ID Number can be found at the end of the URL to your profile page. For example, (www.snitchseeker.com/members/dj+expelliarmoose-135418)The above must be included if you wish to get full credit!
OOC RULES
  • All snitchseeker and SSRPG rules apply at all times in the office, classrooms and any other threads created that relate to HoM.
  • Know the Difference between IC and OOC (In Character and Out of Character) My Character is Tiberius Dursley, and I am Jay, or Moose either is cool with me. Please don't confuse his actions with mine, or take IC actions as personal towards you as an RPer. If I need to follow something up with you out of character, it will happen via PM.
  • In character offenses will be punished in character. This means your character will lose house points or get detention.
  • Out of character offenses will be punished out of character. Therefore, you the member, will get a warning or infraction in accordance with SS site rules.

  • Anyone who changes their answers after reading what another member has written, will not earn ANY points for changing their answer. So please do not edit your posts, I can tell the difference.
  • If want to join a class and the lesson has already started, feel free to join! Just do not post your character arriving late. Post as though your character has been there the entire time. Posting that your character walked into the classroom will result in loss of points.
