Down the main staircase in the Entrance Hall and to the left lie the dungeons of Hogwarts. In order to reach the various classrooms down here and the Slytherin Common Room, you have to make your way through the creepy, dark, green-tinged dungeon corridors... beware of cobwebs and mold growing in the corners...
Man did he need music. Hogwarts was so archaic really. He couldn't grasp why they wouldn't allow their students something as basic as a music device. Honestly they acted as though the students were still being used as Horcrux mules or something. That was the past, now, all the needed was music.
Hands stowed away in his pockets, he made his way out of the dungeons.
Aside from the journey to and from Potions class, Sophie hadn't really gotten to appreciate the dungeons for what they were. She had noticed how dank it was - but why did it have to be that way? As she made her way down a lone corridor, she examined the walls curiously. Weren't there house elves to clean the castle? Or shouldn't it have been SOMEONE's job to remove the cobweb that was just hanging above her head? There were a few simple cleaning charms that would do the trick, yeah? So why wasn't this school working at being more presentable? It didn't bother her, really, but the headmistress seemed so uptight and proper that it just wasn't making SENSE.
Maybe it was for dramatic effect, the first year decided. The term dungeon was kind of ominous as it was, so maybe Truebridge liked it to appear as spooky as possible? For the sake of those who landed themselves in detention? Or maybe it was that scary Lafay's idea? Or maybe the Slytherin house as a whole appreciated the grime welcoming them on the journey to their common room? Sophie knew the entrance was down one of these corridors, but she had no idea which, and the further she ventured into the first long corridor, the more she expected something to jump out at her. She wasn't afraid, though - just... cautious. SHE would rather jump out at someone ELSE. That would be loads more fun. But there wasn't really anything in this corridor to jump out from behind - though she turned in a full circle to examine her surroundings at her own thoughts just to check - which was disappointing, and she began to wonder what kind of cool things were hiding in the depths of the dungeons. Were there secret passageways? Or trap doors that led to an even LOWER level of Hogwarts? Or were there things hidden in some of those deep cracks in the walls or behind thick cobwebs or what if the cobwebs weren't even made by real spiders and someone had just PUT them there for decoration?!
She wouldn't put it past anyone to do that.
Now incredibly interested in the workings and mysteries of the dungeons, Sophie veered off to one side of the corridor, gravitating toward a gaping crack in the wall. She had to bend over slightly to be eye-level with it, and she stared into its depths for many long moments. Just darkness. But what if something was in there? And why was there a crack in the wall in the first place? Why hadn't it been filled or covered up? Was there some kind of secret switch in there that'd unveil a secret room?! Or maybe someone stashed their spare galleons in there! Carefully - and slooooowly - the curious Ravenclaw chose her left, non-dominant hand (for Quidditch purposes obviously) and creeped her fingers into the small space to see if anything was there.

Kitchen. Common Room. Library. Dorm.
Those were the places Cat had been so far today, and she had just returned from retracting her steps twice in search of her glasses. Which turned out to be on her head.
....Whoopise.
She put them on her FACE where they belonged, and headed back to the common room, telling herself she was going to focus and STUDY since she'd wasted almost half of her day in searching for her glasses. It was going to be a terribly depressing time too, studying and not getting distracted. She was no good at that.
Luckily for Cat, she happened upon a distraction. "Careful you don't get sucked in." She said, glancing over the little Ravenclaw's shoulder.
The hole itself was weird - it was unusually smooth on the inside, like maybe a student had blasted the wall with a spell and had done a dynamite job with it. She hadn't been expecting her fingers to meet such a smooth surface inside, but she wiggled her fingers around with great interest for awhile before the disappointment settled in that there wasn't some secret treasure in there. Lame.
But then there was a voice from right near her and the little Ravenclaw jumped so abruptly her feet nearly left the floor. Oh. Just Cat. Good. Sophie peered up at her for a long moment before removing her hand from the wall and letting it fall to her side in defeat. Her expression a fair mixture of somber and startled that the Slytherin had managed to sneak up on her, the first year tried to play it cool and put on a new, cheery demeanor, "What's up?"
Léa had of course heard about the infamous dungeons of Hogwarts. With her rich robe, expensive-looking boots and carefully done dark-red hair, she certainly didn't fit in there. Obviously, her place was somewhere with more light and less/none cobwebs and mold. But... for some reason she was drawn to here. So she came down with wand concealed in her left sleeve, and walked with her right hand lightly trailing the cold walls.
If asked, she would deny harshly any hints of fear but in truth, her heart was beating faster than normal. The dark would hide her face though... hopefully.

Cat laughed softly at Sophie's reaction to her presence. "You're rather far from your nest, aren't you?" How often was a Ravenclaw or a Gryffindor down in the dungeons if not for Potions class? Not often, really. "What are you up to down here, hmm?" She asked curiously.

Exploring? Cat could respect that for sure.
"Mmm," Sophie replied simply, considering Cat's choice of words. Referring to the Ravenclaw common room as a 'nest' was kind of cute and clever. "I guess. I wish you could come visit us there some time. It's real nice and cozy and your two favorite people in the world are there. Kinda a shame you're not allowed." Which brought the first year back to wondering what her life at Hogwarts would have turned out to be like so far if she'd been sorted into Slytherin instead.
Cat probably would've hated her by now, actually. There was no way Sophie would pass up the opportunity to hang around the fifth year every opportunity she got, and... certainly that would have become overbearing. Maybe it was better this way, because THIS way, Mo got to put up with her instead. And he had to because he was her Captain. Ha. That was his fault for letting her on the team, though. He was practically inviting her to hang around him all the time.
"'Splorin'. Adventurin'. The usual. I haven't really been down here outside of my trek to and from Potions class, so I thought I'd come check it out. Anything cool down here? Any fun secret passageways or suits of armor that do cool things or secret hidden places that only you Slytherins stumble upon 'cause you're down here all the time?"

Hannah was just about to go to her common room and relax for a bit. She had actually managed to go to all of her classes lately and she was pretty sure that she deserved a break. She had some homework that she needed to complete, but that could wait right?
She walked along the passageway thinking about how she would soon be graduating Hogwarts. It was unreal to her that she would soon be a seventh year. Time was going by so fast. Why was she being so sentimental anyways? She brushed off the weepy thoughts. As she continued to walk her mind went to Adi. Man, that kid was annoying. She didn't understand how he seemed to be everywhere. In mid walk the Slytherin changed her mind. She turned around and decided to head for the library instead. She really wanted to get her homework out of the way so she could fully relax.

Adi followed Hannah from DADA class. He watched her thoughtfully as she headed for the direction of the dungeons. She fascinated him. Not all Snakes were meanies, he knew, but she certainly lived up to the mean part. Why in the world did she hate Puffers so much, anyway? Did someone from the House do something the her and she held a grudge?
Without realising it, Adi had actually followed his Meanie...er acquaintance down to the Dungeons. She was on her way to her common room, of course. He should probably get back to his own common room, as well. If Hannah saw him she'd think he was stalking her or something. Yeah. She'd do that. Best get away! Only- it was too late for Hannah turned around just then. Uh oh.

On the way to the library her eyes instantly narrowed as she saw none other that Adi. She wasn't crazy this kid was following her around!!! why else would he be done here were HER common room was? "What are you doing down here?" Maybe he was lost? She seriously doubted that. Hannah was not even trying to sound somewhat nice at this point. She was seriously irritated and Adi was getting on the very last nerve that she had for him.
She crossed her arms and glared at the boy. He had better have a very good reason to be down here! She was not in a good mood and if he said the wrong thing to her or even looked at her wrong he was going to pay!

Ah crud! Caught in the act! Not that he had been doing anything bad but Hannah most definitely have other ideas. Just look at the way she was glaring at him. Um, um, um! How could he answer her question. Adi had not actually realised he had been following her because he had been lost in his thoughts. Um..... aha! Idea!
"I was wondering if we could hang out,'' he told the Slytherin girl, avoiding her eyes. It wasn't entirely true but how else could he explain what he was doing all the way down here? So yes, he'd stick to the story of wanting to hang out. Only one problem. Adi was not a good liar. He shuffled his feet nervously.

Oh yes, Adi looked as though he was up to no good. He had that deer in headlights look on his face. Hannah was still really annoyed, but she thought maybe she could toy with him for a little bit. "Thinking up a good story are you?" How long did it take to get the truth out? There was something different about this boy, more than just being a hufflepuff duffer.
"If we could hang out?" she snarled back at him with a look of utmost disgust of her face. Didn't he remember the last time they "hung out" if you could call it that... it didn't go over so well. She circled the boy while keeping her eyes on him at all times like he was her prey. "What are you really doing down here?" This time the truth would be nice.

"I'm not thinking up a story,'' poor Adi muttered, still not looking at Hannah. Argh! Why had he not paid attention to where he had been going? He'd be ut of this mess and probably doing his homework somewhere. Maybe he could tell Hannah a half truth then? "Actually I was um, thinking about some DADA stuff and I wasn't totally paying attention.''
Why in the world was she circling him like that? Did he look like a piece of meat or something? Shaking his head, the Hufflepuff looked her straight in the eye. "So, how about it, Mea..I mean Hannah?'' He almost called her meanie but by the look on her face, he decided it would be wise not to. "We could check out those boats by the Lake or something.''
Look at that! Lex was actually following, but Lottie thought this was only to ensure that the other girls drank the antidote. It was strange how Lex believed a love potion was used and would be willing to administrate the antidote to others but the thought of her being in that situation seemed entirely surreal.
This was all very real.
Suddenly, the Hogwartian stopped. Mid-corridor and all. "You have to drink this." Box opened, vial held in her hand towards her best friend. It was an order.

So they'd taken care of that situation for Lottie. Love potion antidote gotten and Sarah was somewhere...somewhere. Not to worry, they'd get her to drink it real easy. The girl herself seemed keen on finding a way to end her obsession. Shouldn't' be a problem at all. The only problem Alexa could find was Lottie suddenly giving orders that involved said antidote, that she did NOT need.
"Weren't you listening to a single word I said? I'm not under some love potion and I'm not taking that. Merlin knows what's in it and it's not necessary. What if those who aren't actually affected get some weird side-effects for taking it? Do you want me to die?" Honestly, Lotus, this was all kinds of serious business here and that thing wasn't touching her lips.
"Now that we've cleared that up, I think I'm fairly dry, I just need you to get my hair fixed again and we can go back to the stands to support Gaston. I think we wasted enough time in Lafay's office, don't you?"
Yes? No? YES! Glad they were agreeing and could move on. "I suppose I should just change into another dress, Elodie loaned me a few, she and Charlie. You should ask them, they'll lend you some too." And without waiting for actual confirmation she began walking down the corridor again in full confidence that her bestfriend was coming along too.

Truth be told, she wasn't. She skipped a lot of words and tried to ignore most of it. There was no reason to hide it. "No, I wasn't listening." And she didn't listen now either. She's done enough listening. She's made enough promises, too. It was tricky, Lottie had long contemplated the use of a wand for this yet didn't know if it'll go against her promise or not.
Let's just see how long it takes without a wand. A wand is her last resort.
Something resembling a smirk appeared on her face, but it quickly diminished as Lex said those final words. EXCUSE YOU. SHE HAS DRESSES OF HER OWN, SHE DOESN'T NEED A LOAN. Priorities, though, right. And she was walking away. No, sorry, you're not.
The Hogwartian followed the Gryffindor but quickly gripped her arm, and not as gently as one would think. "I know my best friend is in there, and she'll drink this, don't make me force you." Pleaaaase.
Box was placed on the floor, of course, but close-by should she need another vial...

Excuuuuuuuse her??
Lex almost stopped when she heard Lottie say that. She wasn't listening?? How very RUDE! What was the point in her talking then? Honestly. Don't tell her she might as well had been talking to the wall. Lex sighed. "Gaston would'a listened. He's a great listener." You had to admit that was called for and she should have seen it coming. Really she should have. What else do you expect when you ignore your best friend?
At first, there were no footsteps coming behind her but then she heard them, which meant she had a Lottie following behind. Good goo--
"OI!" Shouting was necessary. Gentleness would be appreciated you know. "That actually hurt in case you were wondering, now let go, I already told you I'm not drinking that." What was so hard to understand in that. "Your bestfriend is right here and you need to stop doubting her. I said I'm fine, and I really am, OKAY???"
Now really. Let. GO.

Now he was muttering, which meant that he was scared right? Well, he should be. Hannah was not in the mood. Any wrong move made or wrong word spewed would send her over the edge. All of the anger that she ever had was boiling up inside of her. There was something about Adi always being there to annoy her that was not helping her situation at all. "I'm so sure." He was totally making up a story. What was with all the um's? Normally when one was telling the truth you didn't need to utter um a million times. "More like you were following me, stalker." Yup, she said it. He was a stalker. There was no use beating around the bush.
"What did you just call me..." She was fuming, and this was his absolute last chance to backtrack. Hannah was so mad that anything could happen at this point and Adi had better choose his words carefully.

Last resort. Last resort. Wand as a last resort.
But OUCH. That just...hurt so much, though. Even if she knew it was the potion talking. Merlin, she hoped it was the potion talking because otherwise...it was right up there with being a rubbish friend, yeah? So, hurt. "Yeah, he's a wonderful listener." There was a tone. Definitely a tone.
And frowning. Frowning was happening, this was just plain ridiculous. Particularly the shouting. Lex was tougher than that.
Which brought her mind to...HOW was she gonna do this? Because Lex was strong, then again, so was she. Hmmm. Interesting. 'Your bestfriend is right here and you need to stop doubting her.' THIS. This hit a nerve. This wasn't the first time she's 'doubted' Lex this term, yet Lottie was right in doing so at the moment, it still brought the memories from the last time. At this point, Lottie was just really angry and very much hurt, THANK YOU for bringing up stuff from the past, as if she needed to be reminded of how much she'd failed.
"Okay." That was all she said, in a very cool, calm and collected kind of way. She let go of Lex's arm, though, and took a step back. "Go to Gaston, then." Honestly. Or not. We'll see.

Most of the things Lottie said were ignored. Of course they were. Nothing Lottie said mattered. She wanted to hurry back to Gaston and the Hogwartian was seriously hindering this. And what was with all those looks she was giving her? Ugh, she didn't have time to worry what was wrong with her. There was GASTON out in the stands.
The moment Lottie let go of her and gave her the go ahead she bolted down the corridor, already envisioning the perfect Frenchie. Had he won the task? Merlin she hoped he did!!!--
But then....just as she was about to take the corner and follow the corridor back to the stairs she could see a disappointed(?) Lottie....
SIGH, the things she did for her best friend. Lex trudged back over to the Hogwartian and grabbed the vial. This was just to set her mind at ease before she left because apparently it was some big deal for the girl. Why? She didn't know, but it wouldn't kill her to humour her, yeah? "Just to make you stop worrying." She clarified before taking a swig of the potion. Lex got into a coughing fit almost immediately. "Merlin, what do they put in there?" She was choking on her own words.
Slowly she composed herself but that didn't come without a certain dizziness that caused her to wobble a bit before leaning against the nearest wall.
.................What?

Whoa, really? Wand in hand, then.
Lottie was more than ready to cast at Lex as soon as she started to leave, without even saying goodbye by the way (that's nice), but then she saw her best friend walking back. Rather annoyed too. Right, because Lottie was getting in the way of her time with Gaston (also nice) and Gaston time was precious or whatever.
By now, she was just thinking of tackling Lex to the ground and force her the potion but...the Gryffindor girl just took the vial from her hand and...she hoped she was drinking that, unless she was only taking it along to give to the girl in the stands? Nope. She was drinking it.
And she wasn't worried, nope. It would seem like that to the unsuspecting eye, but she really wasn't. Lies, she was.
Oh, Merlin, was she gonna die now? Because that was so not in Lottie's plans. "Are you alright?" she asked, supporting her best friend somewhat and keeping an eye on the box still on the floor. Just in case, cuz you never knooow.

Oh, Merlin, was she gonna die now? Because that was so not in Lottie's plans. "Are you alright?" she asked, supporting her best friend somewhat and keeping an eye on the box still on the floor. Just in case, cuz you never knooow.
Spinning, the dungeon corridor was spinning and the most she was aware of was Lottie offering her some extra support. There was the kind of headache she hadn't gotten in a while and a whole bunch of memories she was going to tell herself weren't real. But then, if they weren't real...how come she could remember them so clearly....and WHYYYYYY did they involve possibly the biggest blight of stupidity in her young life?
She took a moment of just slouching there to get her head back together or well....somewhat together. Her mind was buzzing all over the place now.
"I'd like to say I'm alright, and I figure I am because I didn't drop dead but..." Kissing by the lake? Swooning? Setting things on fire--okay she might not have minded that part--? Cutest and most amazing boy ever? "think I'm gonna be sick." Yup, sick, very VERY sick. It was very much possible she was allergic to her own stupidity, mhm, that would explain the headache. The only thing that really kept ringing in her ear was talk of a love potion, of which her actions had duly proven true.
Lex gave a firm shake of her head before standing straight again. The last few bits had been processed and the fourth year was livid. LOVE potion, of ALL the things in the WORLD a BLOODY.LOVE.POTION. "I'll kill him. I know I will. I hope you thought through that Azkaban escape plan, looks like I'll be needing it." She took Lottie by the hand, picked up the box on the floor and might have been pulling walking her down the corridor with her (not leaving the best friend down here, nope).
Step lively, she had a beater's bat to collect from her Common Room before they headed back to the grandstands. She'd rearrange his bloody face.

Movement, even if it appeared she was gonna fall straight to the floor, was actually a good sign. Lex would be on the floor if she was dead, so, very good sign. Talking was even better and Lottie couldn't help but smile the second Lex's words came out.
Granted, there was no way of knowing if the antidote had worked or not, you know? Only time will tell? "I think you're alright." In her expert opinion, yup. She should've done this AGES ago instead of thinking how amusing it was that this happened to Lex. Though the amusement was short-lived.
The Hogwartian started to let go of the Gryffindor very slowly, just checking for some signs of stability, until Lex shook her head and straightened herself. Her face, though. The potion had worked. Did she realize she was wearing a dress? BEAM! AZKABAN! Actually, she didn't have an escape plan yet, but who cares?! She allowed her best friend to take her wherever because she was back! "Brilliant!" No one should be this excited about getting shipped to Azkaban, right? Right.
Also, their talk will have to wait because more pressing matters needed to be dealt with. Mmhmm.

He was totally making up a story.
Oh Merlin! Oh Merlin! Hannah was gonna blow up and Adi knew it! But would she really harm him? He knew he annoyed her but he couldn't help it. He was curious about her and why she was always so mean. And the fact that she hated Hufflepuffs just made him even more determined to make her see they weren't bad. "I'm not a stalker,'' he said. looking at her straight in the eye. "I told you. I was thinking about some DADA stuff and lost track of where I was going. It's not my problem you don't believe me, Meanie!''
Yeah, that's right. He called her meanie. She wasn't the only one annoyed. She annoyed him by being a meanie. "Why are you always so uptight and mean to everyone? Do you even have any friends? I'm sure much of the people here don't like you!'' Finally. Finally, he was telling her fully what he thought of her. Adi had tried to be her friend since that day at the Courtyard but nooooooo. All she ever did was laugh at him.
