Well this was a shock to Mack, no one in the corridor yet.. She could easily nab agate her way throughout the train.. She knew it would not be this easy in just a short while when she wanted to go find all of her friends who aren't sitting near her.. She hoped that the entire Gryffindor team was sitting in the front as well but with so many students on the train they were sure to be split up.

"seriously, I could dance down the isle" but she refrained herself from her random burst of energy.

Zooming though the corridor, Asher wanted to start looking for a seat. He as going home! His mouth watered thinking of his mums amazing food and his luxuriously soft bed was calling his name. He glanced around as he scurried along, making sure he wasn't going to run into anyone.

Sweet....Beezus Merlin.

Did she really have to do this? Oh yes, she did. It wasn't that she was scared to do something like this. Nope, Beezus Castell was up for new things and adventures anytime. She wasn't a spoilsport. It was just that.....she was going to do it on the Train....the Hogwarts Express no less.

Ever heard of quite inappropriate?

This was so it.

But oh well, a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do. Moreover in her case right now, an airplane's got to do what an airplane's got to do.

And so, after taking a deep breath, the Ravenclaw bent her knees slightly and squinted at the not-so-deserted corridor. Then....WOOSH! Eagle wings, ahem...arms, stretched far out to both sides. Woot woot woot! "Tower, tower...this is aircraft Castell at the ramp, taxiing and ready for take off!" HAH! With a bounce, the brunette sprinted off going all ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM.

Oh.

My.

Godric.

This was actually fuuuuun! She acted as if her plane wings had suddenly become faulty. "OOHMPF!" Hover to the left to maintain balance! Meep! "Mayday, mayday, mayday....!"

Oops. Oops. Oops. No crashing. Weeeeeeeeee!

She might have been looking for the food trolley...maybe. It wasn't like she would buy anything...anything candy related anyway. Felix slumped over her shoulder, kept licking at her face. He could tell that she wasn't well, the weight of her candy bag was all the evidence anyone needed.

"I don't think this is going to work." She finally said to the kneazle as she walked. Occasionally she would raised her hand to scratch at her arm but then she'd remember the mark it would leave and lower it. This no candy thing was uncomfortable. Even more so than she remembered. The worst part was that she had at least a dozen chocolate frogs in there and she was almost sure they were calling to her.

Front of the train behind her she was headed to the middle with still no sign of that woman or her trolley. Things couldn't go on like this.

No candy and a moving train was a recipe for nausea. She needed a distraction. One that wasn't off the sugary variety. UGH.

Benjy had completely given up on his cousin. So far the journey with his supposedly best mate had consisted only of grunts, and despite his best attempts to cheer Garrick up, he'd finally figured that he wasn't wanted. He really didn't know what the problem was. They were going home for the SUMMER! And whilst summer meant putting up with his mother, it also meant more time for other things. Like trips in his Uncle's boat, and spending while days skateboarding.

Shutting the compartment door behind him, Benjy looked down the train corridor. Maybe he should find the food trolley? Candy was sure to cheer him up a bit. Talking of candy, was that Lex? Benjy blushed a little, as he got closer. He hadn't seen her in aaaages. And he'd been meaning to ask...

He bit his lip. Was Lottie with her? Cos that would be, well, seriously awkward.

Just a little further down she could see movement. Someone coming from one of the compartments? Hopefully someone she knew, that would be the perfect distraction. She stopped walking, opting instead to stand and wait just in case the person was worth having a conversation with--

"Benjy!" He'd do perfectly! He was even coming over. That saved her the walk for sure. "Funny running into you out here." Lex said, grinning brightly at him. "I would have thought you'd be off trying to keep your cousin's tears away." It was only a joke okay not really, the boy cried more than half the girls she knew, hopefully he wouldn't take it too personally? It wasn't like she was insinuating he was the supreme crier.

Maybe she would just quickly change the topic incase he suffered second hand insult. Some people did, odd but true.

"Are you in a hurry to be getting somewhere?" Company would be nice for a while. The kneazle on her shoulder slipped down into her arms and watched the boy. That was all he'd do for now.

Yeah, first year at this dump done.

Jeez, 'bout time. S'not that Ascanius was opposed to EVERYTHING about school, but he wasn't academias biggest fan, yeah? He wasn't stupid, far from it, but there was something about authority that just rubbed him wrong. All types of wrong. Essex pride.

So he was happy to get a break from professors and homework and all of the extra useless nonsense that seemed to come along with this school. Honestly, it had more drama then a Muggle Soap. Pfft.

Wandering through the corridors, he stopped when he saw the food trolley. Ugh, post-Quidditch diet was a beautiful thing. Smirk. He could eat what he wanted WHEN he wanted. So he was going to indulge in a chocolate frog. What? One chocolate frog was not going to break his gorgeous face. Which was, admittedly, gorgeous.

Unless Lottie was well disillusioned, it was safe to say she wasn't here. Phew. He didn't know what sort of mood the Hufflepuff was in at the moment, and what Lex had been dealing with...but Garrick had been pretty much unbearable since some thing had happened between them. His cousin really didn't know how to help himself at times.

"Hi Lex," he greeted, her grin making his lips curl upwards into a smile as ever. He rolled his eyes at her comment or joke or whatever it was. "You don't know the half of it." He gestured to the compartment he'd just left. "The misery-guts has either decided to learn troll, or I'm only worthy of grunts nowadays." Yeah, real great best mate he was right now.

He eyed her kneazle, and glanced down to the pocket where Flipper was kept, before shaking his head. He'd done the getting somewhere bit already. "Anywhere without grunting-sleepyheads named Garrick is great right now." He shrugged. "Why, were you headed somewhere?" The food trolley perhaps?

When he'd first gotten to her, he almost looked like he was searching for something...or someone...she didn't know but she dismissed the look. The term had ended, people would be looking for other people during the train ride. It was kinda expected. It also meant he'd done what he said he would and gave the whole being social thing a try. Good on him!

Her grin widened. He hadn't taken offence to what she'd said. "Troll huh? Do you think he'd teach me some
time? I've been trying to find an effective way of communicating with my step-mum but so far nothing's worked." Time to try the woman's native tongue. "Think of it as a learning experience, a cultural exchange if you will, between the two of you." Because clearly one of the two was part troll and she didn't mean the nice one standing before her who wasn't rude to a soul.

Lex caught Benjy looking down at his pocket before realizing Felix was doing the same. Without waiting to be sure, she moved her kneazle into a secure hug. "What'cha got there?" She asked out of curiosity. It was nice to know what her baby might be hunting.

As for the going somewhere..."I was actually, to the food trolley though it might be in my best interest if I don't... I know!" She flopped to the floor then patted the spot next to her. "Come on, you won't get that dirty, I promise." The longer she stayed away was the better.

He snorted. He couldn't help it. "Something like that..." he replied. "Though I think all he's probably saying is 'stop pestering me'." He frowned. "Your step-mum is a troll?" Or just acted like one? The realisation that he might have been a little rude with that was a tad belated, and he winced. "I mean, er..." What did he mean? "Er, is she the nice step-mum type?" He blushed again. He really didn't have the gift of charm and words like Garrick inherited.

Eh, Garrick. "Right. Learning experience." He grimaced. "I'll try remember that whilst he's off swanning round Fiji over the summer." Jealousy, Benjy had it.

Hmm? Got where? He followed her glance, and looked relieved as Lex adjusted the hold of her kneazle. As much as Flipper wasn't his ideal pet, he didn't want the poor thing being chased halfway down the train in fear for his life. "Flipper," he answered, adding quickly, "my pet toad." And yes, he was well aware it was a stupid name. A stupid name for an equally dense toad. "He is...safe, right?"

Best interests to NOT got to the food trolley? Benjy eyed Lex. "Like, I know I'm not like...one of your closest friends...but isn't that a bit, well, weird for you?" He flopped to the floor with her, not caring about dust or dirt. He'd get berated for them not being pristine and ironed either way. "Or do you know something I don't, like that the food trolley only serves contaminated ice-cream now too?"

"Hahahaha!" She almost squeezed her kneazle too tight while she laughed. "I like that reaction." Now how many other people could she get to believe that Amanda was a troll? Hehehe. "Nah, just a muggle. I have nothing against muggles, really, but she's horrid and she hates me." Lex wasn't very fond of her either so it evened out quite nicely. The house never had peace when she was home during holidays. The new baby didn't help either. "You don't need to be sorry for asking. She's as dense as a troll if you ask me."

Oh deeear then there was that tone. The same one he had when she met him at the station. Telling him to hope his cousin drowned wouldn't have been the best idea...especially not after he'd been so appalled when she suggested he break his leg or something like that. All she could do was shrug. "Have your own summer adventure then brag about it. You already have the whole 'more friends' thing going for you." Just a thought. A civilized one that didn't involve anyone getting hurt. How boring.

Wait what??? "You have a toad? Neat! I don't think he eats those." He'd never tried eating Kaiden's toad so his should be fine too. Just the word had Felix looking less interested and he curled up in her lap trying to find something else.

Now it was her turn to scowl. "I'm hoping there's nothing wrong with the food trolley but it has candy. I can't have anymore candy, I think I have a cavity, it huuuurts." It felt like a cavity anyway. She didn't know what it was but her teeth hadn't been the same and she needed to get it checked. "You can help yourself to some of my candy if you'd like." Someone might as well had enjoyed it. Her birthday and she couldn't have candy. This SUCKED.

Benjy watched her laughing, bemused. Had he just insulted her mum, but in a good way? How odd. He tilted his head, his straggly hair resting loosely across his shoulders, and wrinkled his nose at her explanation "Oh. Sounds pants." How would he feel if his mum meet someone he didn't like? His dad was irreplaceable. Benjy swallowed slowly, trying to block the bad thoughts that were threatening their way in. "How long has she been around?"

He simply shrugged. "I just wish he was...well, not like he's been recently." Whilst being in Fiji would be nice, Benjy kind of hoped that Garrick would sort himself out over there. Even if it left Benjy alone with just his mother for company for most of the summer. "He took what Lottie said pretty hard."

Understatement of the year.

Hang on, she didn't ask why a toad would be called Flipper? That was unexpected. And pretty awesome actually. As was the fact that apparently fluffy-kneazle-guy didn't have a taste for toads. "That's reassuring, given that Flipper has no sense what's good for him." Given half a chance, the toad would probably manage to jump into the kneazle's mouth without being asked. "Shoulda got a cat, really." And the reason he didn't? Yup, you guessed it: Garrick.

Benjy crossed his legs underneath him, and couldn't help but frown at that scowl. "That's awful." His mother always threatened him with cavities if he skipped brushing his teeth. They sounded awful painful. "Can you eat anything at all? Or take a potion or something?" She got pouts on her behalf. Poor girl. "I couldn't possibly take it, Lex. It's your stash. For when you can eat it."

And the girl looked like she needed a distraction. Well, he had one. He thought he did anyway, and now was as a good a time as any. He took a breath. "Youfreeoverthesummeratall?" he blurted out. Blinkblink.

Eliza was just sort of bumbling around the corridor, not really sure where to sit. Or if she wanted to just yet. For now, she was just doddling down the aisle, making note of some faces she knew, but they all seemed to be chatting. She tugged at her sleeves, pulling her fingers up into the flare of the opening. Although summer was coming, it had been her experience that most long distance transportation vehicles were a bit cool inside, so she generally dressed for it. What was worse than a long, boring ride was a long, boring, cold and shivery ride - so she wasn't about to let that happen if she could help it. Though she supposed she could also just use the warming spell. Still, she always seemed to think of things without her wand first. It was a habit she was confident she'd get over once she was older, but for now, from having to be so discreet for so long, the muggle way of things just came to her more quickly.

She walked slowly down the corridor, still undecided, and wondering if she'd run into anyone who'd want to have a word or two with her. She knew Min and Ethan were probably enjoying their last train ride together, and her other friends seemed to be paired of with boys at the moment. She wondered if they were starting to think of dating them or if they were just friends, but she didn't ask. They would tell her if it was important to them, right? She wasn't sure.

The look on his face was what got her to stop laughing. The question though, had her expression falling. Nothing severe but noticeable. "She'd been around for a while I guess...probably since two years after Mum did...coming around to 5 years I guess." Funny how despite her father's promises that the woman would grow on her she DIDN'T.

She used the next thing he said as a distraction from that thought. Garrick was taking it pretty hard. In all honesty, that was expected. Lottie was a lot like her, they tried not to focus on the negatives. Besides, he seemed like he took everything hard. "She must have too if she asked him to just be friends. Way I heard it he was ignoring her--a lot." She paused, tilting her head and giving him an especially curious look. "If I were snogging you then just stopped talking to you, how would you feel?" Thing is, Lottie was a saint. Lex wouldn't have let him off so easy.

Her eyes fell to his pocket with his odd toad. "Sounds like the type of pet to get you into a lot of messes. Isn't he fun? Felix doesn't let me have any fun if he can help it." The kneazle cared too much some times.

Lex shrugged at his next question, trying to play it off. "Not really, but I haven't been eating much this last term so it doesn't matter. I'll have Daddy take a look at it when I get to the station, we might just make a quick stop at the dentist." NOT something she was looking for but this was her birthday, she WANTED her candy.

"Suit yourself." Least she wouldn't have to watch him eat it--Hmm? He spoke so quickly that she almost never heard what he'd asked. Almost. "I am. I'll be free a lot. Why?"

Benjy shook his head lightly and closed his eyes, trying to rid his brain of those thoughts. Of that night. Opening them, he focused purely on Lex. "Wow, that's a long time for being hated on." A chuckle flickered across his lips. "I'm surprised you didn't, er, try to subtly influence things..." Or did she? Maybe Lex HAD wrecked havoc and it hadn't worked. Hmm. It's certainly something he would try.

it was refreshing to hear her be so straightforward about it all. "Six of one and half dozen of the other... Dunno what the two of them got in their heads." Sure, Garrick was Garrick, and could get on his high abraxan about stuff, but this had been a new mopey low. He leant forward at the curious look, and quickly gulped. "Wouldyou? ...I mean, er..." His eyed widened, and blush came to his cheeks. "I don't know. Didn't he think she was ignoring him first?" Really, it was all a big confused mess. And whilst getting to the bottom of it might get Garrick happy again, Benjy also now had other distracting thoughts in his head.

All Lex's fault.

Gingerly, and still eying the kneazle, Bejy pulled Flipper out his pocket. The toad looked distinctly uninterested. "Well, it depends on your definition of fun, really. He's more the 'I'm gonna wreak havoc for no real reason' type. Not one for company." One for hopping off at inopportune moments.

He didn't believe her. Simple as. "I've got a sandwich we can share if you're hungry." It wasn't sugary, at least. And something other to think other than dentists. Shudder. He didn't like those. Another one of those mother-inflicted things. Seriously, why would anyone train to poke around in people's mouths?

His face blushed a bit more, and he gave her a lopsided grin. "I was wondering...if you'd want to meet up...maybedosomeboarding?"

She'd never thought about it that way before he brought it up. Five years of being hated and the woman was still there. Talk about persistence and what was this about subtly doing stuff. "I'm anything but subtle." Sad but true. It was never something she'd managed. "You can only send a woman to the hospital so many times before your father stops believing it was an accident." Her father should have been more trusting. Accidents were bound to happen...no matter how frequent hers had seemed to be.

It kinda sounded like he was about to defend Garrick again but then he was leaning closer and...and blushing. Lex blinked over at him. "That's actually a really good question." A typical Alexa answer would have been a flat out 'no' but after a certain conversation with a certain best friend she was reconsidering more than half her rules. "It's not something I'd be opposed to." She mused allowed before being distracted by his next statement. Garrick thinking Lottie might have been ignoring him too? "Heh, not from what I heard." But this wasn't a very interesting topic. "I don't think I care enough to know." She was just glad her friend was no longer likely to catch Garrick germs and that was that.

Moving on TO THE TOAD. "May I?" She asked, taking it while he explained. "Something he and Felix have in common. In my first year he climbed the train trying to eat my friend's owl. I followed him up there and got yelled at by prefects and Quidditch Captains." No regrets though. That was how she met Vivi.

"A sandwich?" She handed the toad back so Felix would stop pawing at it. "What kind...?" Good merlin! More blushing! The idea behind it though, that had her interested in an instant. "Of course! You still have to teach me, I remember." Nodnodnod. "You should come over whenever you're free and we can get some boarding done." Garrick would be off in Fiji, he shouldn't mind too much.

Arms laden with FOOD, Darwin started to make his way to a compartment, so that he could EAT all of his food and stuff. Food was awesome, 'specially the magic sweets and stuff. Snickers just didn't come CLOSE, anymore.

Cauldron cake in his mouth, Darwin tried to navigate the corridor, emitting a muffled "S'cuse me," every so often. The corridor wasn't too full, but you know, some people might be walking in front of him, slower than he was, or trying to over take him, or standing still, or something. People were CARELESS and stuff. But Dee was SUPER cool and he was tryna help people. Help them NOT get hurt by him and his big feet and his back pack and his mountain of food. Yummy food. But his warning went UNHEEDED and PHOWMPH -

"Ouch!" And all of his food was on the floor. Darwin glared at the other kid.

'I'm anything but subtle'. He snorted again. He should have known it. She was a Gryffindor, after all. And one with quite the affinity for sugar. He chuckled. "I should imagine. Remind me never to get on your bad side." he could see it being unpleasant, and he really didn't care for the hospital wing. "You said she was Muggle, right? So...does she know about your magic and stuff?"

He gulped again, and his hands fiddled around in his lap. He wasn't really sure why he had asked, and therefore why he was quite so interested in the answer. He flexed his fingers together, trying to ignore the hint of warmth in his cheeks, before leaning forward a little. She wouldn't be opposed to it? What did that even mean? He rubbed his lips together, moistening them from where they had gone dry, and attempted to run a hand casually through his hair. Comments about Garrick were forgotten. "So, er, you would?" He couldn't help himself.

It was probably a good thing she didn't wait for him to answer. He was still thinking other things. It was only after Flipper had been taken that he blinked back to attention. "Hmm? Oh, sure." Least if Flipper made a run for it, it was Lex's fault and the Gryffindor could be the one to run after him. Had Benjy mentioned the toad was surprisingly fast for its small size? "He tried to eat an owl? Wow." Sucks that it had to be in front of the student leaders too. Benjy didn't much care for them. Well, except Ethan, cos he was cool.

He nodded as she handed Flipper back. "From home. Cheese and pickle, I think." He hadn't investigated too closely. He pulled it out his robes, and unwrapped a corner of the slightly squished sandwich to check. "Yup. Cheese and pickle. Mum's kind of predictable on that one." He shrugged. Up to her if she wanted to share. He was soon grinning though. "Yeah?" His eyes lit up. "I've got a spare board you can use." As for when? "Since Garrick's away, I'm free whenever. Sure Mum will be glad to have me out the house." She usually was.

She grinned over at him. "I don't think you'd get on my nerves any time soon and if you did...the hospital could get you if there's any of you left." Expulso was invented for a reason. A brilliant reason might she add. "Yeah she knows and she's terrified about almost everything dealing with it. I can make her leave a room by picking up my wand." That had been fun up until her father assured the woman Lex wasn't allowed to use it.

....Both eyebrows were now raised. He was leaning closer and his blushing was becoming more and more noticeable. Was it just her or was he starting to look nervous? Lex went silent, giving his question some thought. From what she'd heard it wasn't the worst thing in the world, most people seemed to like it well enough, but she'd never really know that for herself. The whole thing was rather curious. "I would, if only for knowing what it's like." New things interested her, everything was another adventure.

The shock in his voice amused her. "Felix is a predator, he likes chasing other people's pets. He'll eat them too if he's allowed, that's why I usually take him with me when I go for walks around the castle." Wouldn't want anyone pointing fingers at her when they suddenly found their pets missing...or digested...whichever.

Cheese and pickle. "I don't think I've ever tried that before." Most snacks involved sugar, her sandwiches weren't had that often and weren't that varied. They didn't matter as much to her. "I'll have some--An extra board?! Awesome!" If she got it right without getting herself killed they could ride together! "We could set a day for next week, if that's not too soon."

There were a lot of things that Ascanius Stark was, but he was NOT a clutz. Not even in the slightest because he had agility, good looks, luck and, well, good looks. Smirk. SO the fact that he would EVER bump into anyone was perposterous and also, just not a thing.

SO WHEN THIS JERK BUMPED INTO HIM, emphasis on jerk, and had the nerve to glare at him Ascanius just smirked. A real dark one and wiped the excess of whatever that kid was carrying off of his shoulders lightly.

Now with an almost sneer, he asked, "Yeah?" What was HE glaring at? S'not his fault that this dunce had just walked straight into him when Ascanius was minding his own business....for once....

Again, what was HE staring at?

Benjamin grinned back. "That's reassuring. I think." Though he still wasn't going to risk it. He rather liked being in one piece. And he wasn't entirely sure he'd put that much faith in a part time healer if it happened at Hogwarts. "How...strange." He could see that causing family problems, not exactly something that could be easily hidden around the house. And the wand comment caused him to smirk. That was very clever. Kudos to her. "So you do lots of extra curricular spellwork then?" he said with a chuckle.

He felt nervous, as she sat there quietly. He couldn't really remember a quiet Lex, and he wanted entirely sure whether she was preparing to go back on what she'd just said, and hex him for mentioning such a thing. No wand appeared though, and Benjy was once again left pondering her choice of words. "Do you think...it's good?" he asked. He assumed it was. He'd seen plenty of people do it, and so it seemed reasonable that it wasn't unpleasant. He nibbled on his lip, debating whether to ask the next question on his mind. She reacted positively enough so far, but maybe that was a little step too far? He opened his mouth, but slowly shut it again, as nerves began to jangle in his tummy. It was an exciting thought, trying it, but kinda scary too.

He wasn't a total idiot, thanks Lex. "I know that. It was just that he went after an owl of all things. I mean, they fly." And have claws of their own. Not quite the same as chasing a cat or a rat or even a toad. "I did wonder why he seemed to be around so much." Cos Felix was there when then went for ice cream, right? He grinned at the memory.

"It's alright. I'd rather jam, but Mum is kinda restrictive on the sugar front." He rolled his eyes. "It's better than egg though." Egg tended to get a bit pongy. Luckily it didn't travel well, so it was rare for him to get one of those for the train. He handed the package over to her, and grinned. "I've probs got pads too, if you want them." To save on grazed and bruised ankles, if that was a dealbreaker. It didn't take long to think through his schedule. "Next week would be great. Can you do Monday?" He was keen to get out the house asap. Had she said he could go to hers? Though Garrick would be away, it'd still probably be least awkward.

"It should be very reassuring. I don't promise just anyone that I won't hex their faces off, you know." Fact. It was easier to threaten to hex someone than it was to be tolerant of them. "And I wouldn't say that because that makes me sound all studious. The only spells I practice outside of classes are hexes, jinxes and curses. Anything outside of those and I'm not interested." What was the point of a spell that didn't hurt someone?

"You're full of odd questions today." She pointed out before even beginning to attempt an answer. She shifted Felix then pulled her feet until they were folded like a pretzel. Might as well get more comfy. Finally, she nodded. "Everyone who talks about it says it's good. Normally I would need more confirmation than that," because they might have all been idiots, "but even Vivi says it's good and she's right about most everything. Why? You don't think it would be?" It'd be interesting finding someone who didn't agree with the main idea especially since it looked like he was about to say something else.

Oh. Was that how he meant it? "He likes a challenge. The harder the better. Owls don't scare him much. Once he nearly got taken by a hawk that flew in through our front window." She wouldn't mention what she did to the hawk. Nah, another day. "But now you know why. Plus, I like having him around." Her baby was good company.

"I prefer sandwiches with meat." She'd be a carnivore if she could but her father would never allow it. What now? "Pffffffffffft, I don't need protective gear. I'll be fiiine without any. Just bring your boards...helmet too so Daddy doesn't complain but that's about it." The idea of being cautious didn't much appeal to her, thanks.

Benjamin allowed a smirk to spread across his lips at that. "In which case, I'm honoured," he replied with a grin. "But if you do ever hex me, I'm not adverse to battle scars, but I do object to blindness." Wink. He liked Lex, so he really hoped it never got to that stage. She made sense, unlike some others. "Well, I am a Ravenclaw," Benjy said with a shrug. Think of it as extra studies was in character, really. "What's you favourite hex?" Not because he was worried one would come his way, he was just kind of interested.

"And you're full of unconvincing answers," he replied, looking up from his fiddling hands in his lap to meet her gaze. And what felt like excruciating long silences too. He nodded when she did finally speak. Her theory seemed justifiable, but he still tilted his head thoughtfully when she threw it back at him. "I don't know," he said, resting his chin on his hand. "I mean, I've never done it, so how could I?" He swallowed. "I'd give it a go though." Even if that moment had passed a while back.

"I'll have to note that for future reference." She said, trying her hardest to sound serious, it only worked for so long before she ended up cracking a smile. She wasn't meant to have the right answers, yeah? It was only after he began answering that she looked over at him again, now completely forgetting about the candy she couldn't have. On a lighter note they were talking about pets again. "Replace the toad and get yourself something you'll like better. It's not fair to the toad to have him when you don't like him much. He could be off swimming in some pond if he wasn't stuck in your pocket all the time. You probably don't even want him there." Just being honest. Both Benjy and Flipper would be happier if they split up. It was for the greater good!

Lex gave a firm nod. "Bumps and scrapes are a part of life, they mean you've got an epic story to tell, plus, I'm sure there's spells to clear up most things." There were...that's how Quidditch players managed to look so good after being hit by bludgers and each other. It made sense if you thought about it.
