Alexa was humming a little tune as she made her way to the Charms Classroom. This was the last class of the term, kinda a pity seeing as Professor Knox told her never to visit her at her office again unless she had what she was looking for. How would she see her nooow?? Hope to run into her in a random corridor--maybe....there was always that idea.

Her skip!Hop!Bounce came to a halt when she realized there was no Professor. Oh? No message either?

Smiiiiiiles!!!

Lex found herself grinning at the board. It was a nice touch to the otherwise dull room. Heeeey, maybe they were practising charms to make you happy today!! She should have brought some ice-cream with her. That would do the trick without magic.

There were loads of things that Melanie liked. She liked noodles and food and music and air and people and stuff. But Melanie also really liked smiles and that smiley face she saw on the board upon entering the classroom. She liked that smiley face a lot. As a matter of fact, she loved it... the only thing that was missing from the smiley face was a mustache. If it had a mustache and a little top hat, it'd remind Melanie of the Pringles man or the guy from Monopoly minus the monocle.

The Gryffindor grinned, and slid into a seat, kicking her legs back and forth while staring at the smiley face drawn on the board.

And she had named the smiley face too. It's name was Crush because she wanted some orange soda.

Ice cream was starting to become his usual pre-class snack and today was no different. The only thing different about today was that this was one of those rare occasions in which he was early for the class.

And sure enough, when the boy stepped into the classroom and cast his eyes around, he was, in fact, the third person there. And scary Charms lady Knox wasn't here yet! But the people who were here were both nice and, get this, Gryffindors! GRIN. "Hey Candy Girl! Hey Melanie!" He grinned and waved enthusiastically at both of them before heading over towards an empty seat near the middle of the classroom.

The sixteen year old sat down in his seat and looked over towards the blackboard where... there was a smiley face. No. Wait. A smiley face? Did this mean that Knox was in a good mood too? GRIN. He took out his things before letting his bag drop to the floor and just... sitting there. Everyone else and Knox would come soon, right?

Charms!

BEAM!

Ella liked this class, especially because it reminded her of Sophie and she missed her best friend lots and it was nice to be doing something that she knew Soph would approve of. Also, she was in an extra good mood because she'd had a nice gummy worm sundae before she got here and ice cream always made her happy. Always.

"Hey guys!" She greeted cheerfully as she bounced in, noting that Professor Knox wasn't around. Strange. Hey, maybe she was eating ice cream?

The blonde then spotted Alec and grinned, deciding she'd sit by him for obvious reasons. "Hey you." She said quietly, plopping down beside him and giving his hand a squeeze. And awwwww, a smiley face on the board? That was nice!

...That was a smiley face on the board.

Jake stopped at the doorway, catching sight of the chalk board before he was even fully in the room. That was... suspicious. He looked around quickly for Knox, but she wasn't even there. The only people in the room were Alexa, Melanie, Ella, and Alec.

Deciding to just go with it (maybe they would have an exceptionally nice substitute professor... that could happen, right?), Jake took a seat near the other students in the room. "Hey," he greeted, leaning back in his chair.

As soon as Tobias stepped into the classroom, he was met with a HUGE smiley face, so of course that made HIM smile too. The smiley face was on the board and that was already a Very Good Sign.

This would be a happy lesson.

Grinning, Tobias spotted two other Hufflepuffs who he quite liked and so headed STRAIGHT for them and took a seat at a desk in front of them before twisting round and giving them a cheerful wave. "Hi Ella! Hi Alec!" There was no professor so surely he'd be okay saying a quick hello to his friends. Because that was what they were. His friends.

Ethan headed towards the floor, intent on attending today's Charms lesson, and rounded the corner into the door. His eyes wandered to the front the room, where he noticed Knox was not yet present. That wasn't a big deal either way to the boy as sometimes the professors showed up late, but..

..was that a smiley face on the board instead of the usual Shut Up and Sit Down message?

Ethan stopped in the middle of the room and just stared at the seemingly out of place emoticon for a moment. That was.. odd, especially for Knox.. though he was rather accustomed to odd lately, wasn't he? Sighing quietly, he turned and gave small smiles to the other students already present and found a seat near the front.

Asher zoomed down the corridor and into the classroom. He had been looking forward to the final Charms lesson all weekend. "Hiya!" he said to the other students already in the room.

Once he arrived at his desk, he noticed the giant smiley face on the board. "What's with that?" he asked as he pointed towards the front. He sat for just a moment before his stomach started grumbling. "I sure hope we get some ice cream. I'm starving!"

Asher sat and wondered what the professor had planned for the class. Then he started wondering where the professor was. Maybe she was making giant sundaes for them to snack on...with cherries and whipped cream. Nom nom nom.

Anya walked into the classroom nomming on an ice cream cone. Her original plan was to finish before she got into the classroom... but... with an ice cream in her hand, Anya as good as forgot anything else going on.

She plopped herself right on her boyfriend's desk before looking at the board. A SMILEY FACE!

Oh! You know what that face needed...?

She skipped on up to the board and added a tongue and funny squiggles to the mouth of the face. She then took a step back and giggled. She skipped on back and took a seat next to Jake. Then she finished her cone. (Awww. Sad.)

"What are the chances she'll bring ice cream?" she asked optimistically. Yup. Anya Phillips wanted moar. Moar ice cream!

Another lesson for today, sigh… She was tired and wanted to go back to her common room, she just wanted to sit and relax. She had slept HORRIBLE that night and she had trouble to concentrate that day, she had taken notes for her lessons but she was sure that she wouldn’t have remembered it without them. Why had her mother send her another letter? She DIDN’T wanted to know it that her parents were divorced or anything related to that that subject! But, her mother had thought that she wanted to know ALL the stupid details… And THAT was the reason why she didn’t slept that night, she was worried and the thought that she didn’t would go home to the house where she had grown up was bothering her.

Still, deep in thought she walked inside the classroom and wanted to greet the professor when she realized that the professor wasn’t inside the classroom. Hmm… that was strange, where was professor Knox? She looked further and saw a GIANT smiley on the chalkboard! Oh no… She already wasn’t happy and the smiley was making her even more annoyed than she already was! With a irritated expression on her face she searched for a chair to sit on and dropped her bag with a loud thud on the ground. She sat down on her chair and closed her eyes, trying to let her eyes rest a little while she waited for professor Knox to start with the lesson.

Minerva headed into the Charms room for the final lesson. It was a nice day and she was smiling as she entered the room. Looking around she thought it was odd that she Professor Knox wasn't there yet. Oh she hadn't made it back to the woman's office with the recording spell, she made note to do that after class if possible.

Turning her focus on the board she smiled and laughed a bit to the big smiley face. Oh that was funny, but someone had to have done it as a prank against Knox. She would never have put that there.

Looking around and smiling she took her seat next to Ethan. "Hey Hun. Save this seat for me?" She pulled out her parchment and quill to get ready for class, because any minute now Knox was walking through that door and blowing up over that smiley face.

Charms. Charms. CHARMS.

Okay, it really wasn't that big of a deal...but Dylan was starting to fully appreciate the subject of charms. It could be fun, he supposed. Also could save your life and all that at times....You know, like the Patronus Charm.

Entering the classroom, he immediately came to a stop, shooting an inquisitive look around the classroom. Where......was Professor Knox?

...And what was up with the smiley face on the blackboard? That....was so totally out of character for the woman. Dylan wondered if the class was being hijacked.

"Good morning, everyone." His tone was distracted, though. It was more automatic than anything, really.

Charms. A subject she wasn't very good at but was noticeably improving. Who knew studying and practicing would actually pay off. Very surprising. She even was thinking of keeping it up. Crazy, huh? But like next year she'd have her OWLS and all. So practicing won't hurt. Or at least preparing herself to study. Something like that.

Clutching her bag, Cassia stepped into the classroom and proceeded in. Her attention was caught seeing the big smiling face on the board. To be honest, it kinda startled her at first. Professor Knox didn't really struck her as a person who'd draw this. Maybe it wasn't the woman? Someone else like a student having fun. Taking a look around, Cassia smiled at the other students.

Her bag bumping against her side, the fourth-year walked further in and slid into a vacant seat.

Oooooh it was charms again? Kace was interested to go into this class. He managed to make it to the classroom, ON TIME. He smiled and was happy that he was here early. He would finally be able to get a good seat.

Kace grabbed his bag and made his way toward the desk in the front. He would be able to see easier and then he wouldn't have to move to much to see the board. He also wanted to learn too and he could pay more attention in the front of the class. As he sat down, he noticed a smiley on the board. He chuckled and gave it a quizzical look. He wondered why the professor drew it. Then he noticed the professor wasn't here yet.

How strange....how very strange.

Oh, shame. No professor in sight. And Mo did so enjoy looking at her... shoes. Admiring her shoes. He still entered the classroom quietly and took a seat near the front of the room. The room was still filling slowly, but Mo didn't chat with anyone as he selected the chair and seated himself.

And what was with the smiley face? Was Foxy Knoxy in a particularly good mood? Where had that nickname just come from? More importantly, was it disrespectful to call her that in his head?

Jayden skipped cheerfully into the classroom, the huge grin on her face forming into an even wider one as she took note of the large smiley face that had been drawn on the blackboard. Hmm. Interesting. She could only hope that the drawing was a good sign, though since this message was a bit different than the usual less friendly message that had been posted in previous lessons.

She greeted everyone in a room with a friendly smile and a wave before quickly taking her seat. "Salutations!"

So... this is what they get for the last Charms class of the year? No Professor Knox, no "sit down and be quiet" sign on the board....... but one gigantic smiley face. Kat wasn't expecting any of those to happen at all. You know how it was with the new Charms Professor. The woman was dangerous, but somehow she was good too. Pretty effective and stuff, strict with discipline. Like almost every other Charms professor they had.

The prefect entered the classroom and took a seat. Well, with the quietness and stuff Kat was just going to stare at the smiley face, think about stuff, and most especially wonder what in Merlin's beard Professor Knox ate that made her consider placing a smiley face in front.

Ice cream maybe.

Sky had decided to give the Knox-lead charms class a second try. She'd heard from her classmates that the woman hadn't made them clean again, so that was good, right? But what had really help her decision along was the usefulness of the Patronus Charm in driving away the dementors the other night. Merlin, to think of what would've happened if no one had been able to produce one. Anyway, she walked into the class quietly, chose a seat, placed her bag down and looked at the board. And saw one of the last things she would've ever expected. A smiley face. Drawn on the board. And it looked like someone had added the typical tongue and swirlies for hair. Oooookkkaayy.....

Nigel was a tad bit disappointed that Professor Knox was not here. When Nigel walked into charms. It was cleaner than before. That was a positive.

Nigel looked at the board for instruction and saw a message that read to Nigel as a bit ominous. a Giant Smiley Face. If this was Astro then Nigel could have understood. But this was charms.

Nigel took a seat and waited to see what the smiley face meant.

It wasn't that long 'til the last Charms lesson. The term's coming to an end so fast. Which also means that Erin's stay at Hogwarts shortens every single day.

She skipped towards the Charms classrooms, tons of students were earlier than her. She was glad she wasn't entirely late while being held at the faulty moving staircases. She should just waited for Elise to go with her from the common room. She'd be happier walking if she did. But big smiles were painted on her face when she saw Kat Hudson.

She headed towards the door...ready to greet the Professor, just that she wasn't there but the cutest smiley face drawn on the board. She turned her head towards Kat who was seating at the far end of the room and waved at her. "HEY!" she uttered while lowering her bag.

Wade walked to his last Charms class of the term. He was in a pretty good mood as he went through the doors. Turning towards the board where the Professor usually was, he was a little surprised to not see her. He did however notice the large smiley.. Making him tilt his head slightly as he smiled back at the board.

Smiles were contagious, after all. Wade then went to sit by his Quidditch mates, "Hey guys." Furrowing his brows over what the lesson could be on today.

That smiley face was...interesting. Penelope couldn't imagine any part of that was drawn by Professor Knox. She had never seemed like the cheerful, friendly sort. So...had someone plucked up the courage to mess with her blackboard as a prank or something? This might be interesting.

The Gryffindor silently took a random seat, not really paying attention to who was sitting near or around her, and waited for the lesson to start.

Charms class was much better this term.

... but weirdly so was Transfiguration so it wasn't as if West could legitimately say it had anything to do with Bellaire. Or maybe it did in a small way but also maybe it was just that he was getting better at coping with stuff that used to get him frustrated. Whatever it was, Charms was better and here he was in it now.

... and there was a smiley face on the board. This confused West a bit. Was it instructions? Was he supposed to smile? It made him uneasy. West went over and examined it instead of just sitting down.

Because it was weird. Was Cerulean teaching this class or something?

Cat WAS going to take a seat, but well, she got distracted by faces.

Huh.

She hadn't pegged Knox to be a smiley face kind of person, but apparently she'd been wrong. Or perhaps this was some sort of prank. Either way, Cat gravitated towards West and glanced over his shoulder. "What's up with that?" Hmm?
