Ronnie walked with Jory in the castle and looked around the entrance hall. There were only a few students hanging around, and no sign of Oliver. She sighed and cupped her hands around her mouth. "OLIVER! HERE KITTY KITTY!" she called. She then stood there, putting her hand to her ear to hear the kitten's familiar meow when suddenly...

"Mew! Mew! Meeoooowwwww!"

"JORY!" Ronnie said jumping up and down. "Did ya hear that? I think it came from over here!" she said, grabbing his arm and running along until they got to the broom cupboard under the staircase where the meowing was coming from. She yanked it open and saw him curled up in a little bucket. "There you are!" she said, scooping him up out of the bucket and holding him close to her chest. "Are you okay, buddy? Are you hurt? Oh you poor thing!" she said, looking him over to make sure he hadn't hurt himself.

Well. That had been easier than she thought it'd be.

She turned to Jory, a smile on her face. "Thanks for coming with me. I was getting really worried about him." she said, glancing down at Oliver.

Having found a dusty little closet, that under any other circumstances might be fairly cozy if she wasn't claustrophobic, she smiled as she looked at her vacuum cleaner proudly. She was going to clean this little place, even if it wasn't going to be used because if it wasn't cleaned like all the other things around the place then it would've been an abandoned closet.

And that would've been depressing.

"Achooooo" her sneeze seemed to echo through the small space, her nose feeling rather runny the longer she stayed in this dusty little closet. "Vacavus" she said, comfortably tapping her vacuum cleaner with her wand, happy that whatever the thing she vacuumed up before that was moving hadn't yet managed to escape.

And so she started cleaning all the nooks and crannies of the little closet, smiling as all the dust seemed to be just disappearing.

Looking around the closet she smiled. Yes she was rather proud of this, she thought as the vacuum died down leaving a nicely clean little closet!

There were a few perks to having no house elves other than Toddles. One was the obvious - ice cream ALL THE TIME at every meal. And it was such GOOD ice cream, too, and now Mo was thinking about stopping in the kitchen on his way back to Potions, which was just a terrible idea. He was already out of time.

The OTHER perk was that there were corners of the castle that were getting very VERY dirty, one of which, Mo assumed, might be this closet. Not that it was good that things were getting dirty, but Mo needed a little filthiness to complete this last task. After entering the closet, he shoved over the buckets and mops and things and searched the corners.

Surely SURELY if there was anywhere in the castle that... ah, there it was. Mo gulped a bit as he reached out and grabbed the cockroach from behind the bucket. It looked at him and the little legs flailed and Mo felt a bit sick. He dropped the thing into the bag in his satchel and continued his search for more cockroaches. Ugh.

Jory had heard Oliver too! "I hear him!'' he told Ronnie but he had not figured from where. But Ronnie did. With her tugging on his hand, he followed her to the broom cupboard. When Ronnie had flung open the door, he caught sight of little Oliver.

"Is he alright?'' Jory asked, rather concerned. Little Oliver.

"It's no problem,'' Jory replied. "So what you wanna do?'' He didn't have much to do now, anyway.

Once she gave Oliver a good, careful look over, she gave Jory a nod. "Yup! He seems just fine. He's probably starved though." she said, giving her kitten a kiss on the forehead. "I'm so glad he's okay!" she said with a sigh of relief. She'd been worried sick!

She then shrugged. "Maybe we can go up to the common room, drop him off and..." she looked at Jory thoughtfully, thinking about what they could do. "Just walk along the pathways?" she finally suggested. A walk would be nice.

This was a broom cupboard.

What am I doing in a broom cupboard?

"ACHOO!" she sneezed as a wick of dust reached her nose. Oh yes, she was here to clean it. This place wasn't exactly her pick. Random choices. Almost all the places in the castle seemed to need a bit of cleaning done.

"Vacavus!" She tapped her wand on the cleaner. The dust near the suction end rose up. "Uh-oh" The place was really dusty.

She pushed the cleaner and started to clean the dingy place. She trained the cleaner on the corners, the edges where it was most dusty. There was fair amount of pressure given to the cleaner. The minute particles were sucked into the cleaner. The cleaning went on....

Few minutes later, choosing a spot she'd cleaned to perfection, she sat down. Resting time.

After she was done with the area around the hourglasses, Sophie kept pushing the vacuum around until she reached a door. In fact, she had never seen what was inside that door. Huh!

Looking around while the vacuum still worked - hooray to the stronger version of the speeell! She really needed to thank professor Flamsteed for that, yeup! - Sophie decided to see what was in there. It didn't look like it would be a big and special room - or anyone's office or anything - so she didn't think it would be a problem if she peeked inside.

So she did! And it was.... a cupboard. Full of mops and brooms and whatnot. Hahaha! That was interesting.

Waving her wand once more, she cast a NON-VERBAL - teeeheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! - spell and made everything inside the cupboard levitate their way out of the tiny place. She spent a couple of minutes in there, hoovering back and forth, making sure she didn't miss any spot. Surprisingly enough, the place wasn't as dirty as the entrance hall or underneath the hourglasses. It was like some other people had come in here to clean it before?

Welp, good then! The fifth year made all of the mops and brooms and stuffs go back again to their right place and ceased both the Levitation Charm and the Sucking Charm. Look at that! It had lasted to long she even had to lift it herself! Brilliant!!!

Finally! They had finally found Oliver. "Hey, there, Oliver,'' Jory said and reaching out to pet the little guy. "How are ya? You had Ronnie pretty worried, you know.'' Not that he wasn't worried but he wasn't going to say that. He was a dude and dudes did not admit to worry. Well, they didn't always admit it.

"We should get him food, then,'' the Puffer added. Perhaps they could go to the Kitchen? Or did Ronnie have anything stashed somewhere? "Yes, the Pathways would be okay.'' And then he thought of something. "Do you think Oliver would want to come with us?'' He liked having the little guy around. "So, did you see the Year long activity we have to do for DADA?'' Jory asked. "There's a list of activities we have to do and I was wondering if you wanna do them together.'' He figured it would be better and more fun to have a partner.

Ronnie smiled, watching as Jory pet and spoke to Oliver. Hopefully the little kitten had learned his lesson! Ronnie was tired of losing him so much. She was done chasing him all over Hogwarts. And at home as well.

"Of course, good idea." she said with a nod. "I have cat food up in the common room. We could drop by there, drop him off, and give him it." she added. Oh, but then he suggested Oliver coming. She nodded. "Okay then, we'll have him come after he eats. Which won't take long." she said with a smile as she began walking along with Jory. She then nodded, beaming at his idea. "Sounds perfect! I'd love to." she said.

"Good idea,'' Jory replied with a nod.Then Oliver would be his old self again. "Does he get lost a lot?'' Oliver was a cat, so obviously he would go wandering about a lot. But getting lost is not nice. Jory knew. He had gotten lost at a department store when he was a kid.

Great! Ronnie had agreed! Now, he wasn't going to be bored doing all these activities by himself. "So, we should start soon. There's quite a few stuff to do,'' the badger continued. "Should we start with the activities first or the spell work?'' Jory really didn't mind which, so he would let Ronnie choose.

Walking across the ground floor, and planning on heading out side, Kaiden noticed a door. Well, noticed wasn't exactly right. He had seen it before, but had never really paid much attention to it. He hadn't even opened it before. But well, now he was curious. Maybe it was another spare empty office thing like Miks had found.

Checking that no one was around to see him, he cracked open the door. Oh, it was just a broom closet. Opening the door further, he sneaked inside, closing the door behind him, standing in the darkness. This was interesting.

Mika was annoyed she had made a mess and needed to clean it up and low and behold there was nothing to clean things with. She cocked her head to the side as she saw a flutter of robes around the staircase and she tried to sneak closer. What was going on?

Tip toeing closer and pulling out her wand she ran to the door? Oh right the broom closet. Wand still out she reached her hand out and opened the door. "Hello?" She glanced into the room and then stepped inside only to find herself standing almost against someone as she slipped into the room the door closing behind her.

"Kaiden? What are you doing in here?"

Kaiden had only been in the dark broom closet for just a couple of seconds, when the door opened behind him.

Where had they come from? There hadn't been any one in around him in the hall. And the he felt them squeeze in there with him. the boy, not knowing who had joined him, tensed up, and reached for his wand. He was just about to whip around and stun them, when the person finally spoke.

"Miks?" he asked, relaxing. Turning, he re-holstered his wand. "I, uh, nothing. What are you doing in here?" Because that was a better question.

It was kind of a tight squeeze in the broom closet, and it was kind of dark seeing as neither had turned their wands into shiny little torches. She needed to do that. "Lumos" and there was a wand in her face.

She bit her lip and stepped backwards. "Oh I think you should answer...I did ask you first" she smiled. "and no before you ask no, I am not stalking you" she cracked a lopsided smile. "those days are over" she added in a whisper.

"Kaid...believe it or not I was in search of a" she glanced around "dust-bin," she chuckled. "Then I saw this sketchy person walking into cupboards and decided what would an Auror do...and I decided that they would follow them of course." she beamed and began to tug on the sleeve of her sweater.

Kaiden blinked as the bright light from the girl's lit wand stung his eyeballs. "oh, Hey," he said reaching out to move her wand so it wasn't shining right in his face. "Sorry." he mumbled.

POUT! (A trait picked up from Captain, by the way)

He did not want to want to have to explain first. Because she was the one being sneaky, and well, he wasn't really doing anything at all. Explaining that would only make him sound like a loser. But... it was Miks. "I um... I wasn't doing anything. Really. I was... just looking around. I'd never been in this door. I didn't know what it was for. But I came in here because... uhhhh... I don't know. I thought it'd be cool to use this room for something." He shrugged. It was the truth. She wasn't stalking? "I wouldn't have thought..." He blinked. "er... what?"

"A dust bin? Why were you looking for one of those? Couldn't you use a vacuum thing if you needed stuff? And, uh, how did you know dust bin things could be found here?" Because like had already said, he had NO idea that those things were here. He hadn't even seen anyone use one, even with the mess that had been around the school this term. "Hey! I'm not sketchy! And what if I was, what was your plan? Following people with out plans isn't smart." It could be really dangerous. What if she followed someone that really was sketchy and dangerous? He frowned at the thought. "And whats a Aurour thingy?"

Wait he was apologizing for trying to protect himself? That was silly. So silly. She could have been some super crazed dementor for all he knew. ”Kaiden,” she frowned at him and put her hand on her hip. ”Don’t just put your wand away I could be a dementor in a Mika-guise for all you know” she wasn’t even sure if they could do that but…it could be the case.

”are are you pouting?” she managed to stammer out the intended question at the confusing boy in question.

Mika did of course notice the strange look he had given her. ”Yes it’s a flat thing that you sweep dust into” she gave him a little eyebrow raise and chuckled. ”I’m trying to be smart about cleaning my mess…besides its good to be able to blend into muggle society eventually. And I kind of think it’d be fun to run around knowing people in the faces with dust bins…” the straight face only lasted a moment and then she laughed. She was kidding of course.

Despite what people thought of her she would never ever ever hurt people with dust bins…or frying pans…or any hard object. Seriously. That was just mean. Sure, sure if they were hurting her friends maybe but that wasn’t the case.
