So the children had found the missing trophies at long last, hmm? Annie climbed up onto the stage and took her seat in her pink throne, quite pleased with the way this event had turned out after all. Look, they had even managed to pull together an appropriate decorating scheme.

All was pink, as it should be.

Annie indulged in a real smile, resting her fingers lightly on her cheek and her elbow on her chair's armrest as she watched the going-ons below. She was smart for having ignored that patronus from the Slytherin captain. The kids had this under control all along. She was... what was the word? Proud? Yes, she was proud of them all. Bunch of Sherlock Holmeses.

Knowing the time was getting closer and closer, Sierra Greingoth stepped toward the podium area. She didn't stand behind the podium just yet, though, because she was waiting on a few other people. She did, however, have a shiny, silver object in her hand. She turned and gave a quick nod to the Headmistress then looked out into the crowd, awaiting the others.

Shiny object in hand, Milton stepped up to where the Headmistress and Sierra were sitting. He nodded at the redhead, making sure to walk several feet away from her. She still scared him. Then he took a seat next to Sierra with a quiet 'hello'. Now, where were the rest of them so they could get this show on the road?

With a square shaped gleaming object tucked under his arm Oakey moved his way up on to the stage. He looked over to the two who had gotten up before him, Sierra and Milton . He took his seat one down from Milton leaving an empty spot in between the two boys. He turned his head around to glance at the Headmistress just for a moment then returned his attention back to the front overlooking the rest of the tent. He'd never understand anyones fascination to the color pink.

Of course she would be the last one at the stand. Honestly, though, the seventh year had gotten extremely distracted... by perfectly duties... Or food. Yeah, okay, she had gotten distracted by the buffet, alright? It was just a really good buffet and if the event had something to be proud of it SHOULD be the food selection. It was a top notch buffet. One that had kept her away from the podium.

BUT SHE WAS HERE NOW.

Noshing down on the last bit of food, she ran up to the podium and grinned at everyone who was waiting there. She gave a slight head nod that she supposed was her way of saying what's up until she saw the Headmistress sitting on her throne. She looked fantastic. Pink was a good call. Another good call on their end.

"Hey guys. Ready?" They sure looked it. Lets get the party started, yeah?

Most of the prefects were coming up on stage now. Good, because Bunz had been getting lonely impatient up here on her pink throne. She wanted them to give out their awards before she ate anything, but apparently everyone else had had the opposite idea. Well whatever! Time to get the show on the road. If no one else was going to step up and speak, she would.

"Hello," the real redhead said, getting out of her chair and stepping forward to the front of the podium. She used her wand to smoothly magnify her voice so everyone at the buffet and wherever else on the grounds could hear. What, this was an important event! "If you would all please hold your chatter for just a moment, the prefects have a few words to say about their event today."

Yes, their little 'where did the trophies go??' mystery had been the prevent event for the year. Pretty sweet idea, huh? The Headmistress beamed at the prefects grouped there and then returned to her throne to allow whoever was announcing first a chance to speak.

Food hadn’t really been on Kendall’s mind when she’d gotten to the groundskeeper’s hut to find the big pink tent and heard that all her riddle-solving had been for the prefect event. She still had a few truffles left, anyhow, so checking out the buffet table could wait. Instead, she’d decided to go over and camp out by the podium thing, looking at the shiny trophies that had been waiting there. Those weren’t the ones that they’d been searching for, but obviously those were safe too. At least, nobody had stolen them to her knowledge, seeing as she’d been too late to join the group who had actually interrogated the groundskeeper. That reminded her that she still wanted to talk to the man, anyway, to ask if he’d ever spoken with any of the lake monster she knew were in Scotland. He didn’t seem to be around the podium, though, so she settled on giving the headmistress a smile. The pink had to be her doing, but it was definitely not something she minded.

it could have been brighter, but that was okay. It was still pink, even if she wasn’t entirely wearing a lot of it currently. There was still the streaks in her hair, and she tilted her fedora back as others had started to join Headmistress Truebridge up on the podium. Sierra, Milton, Oakey and Selina, so far. Things must be getting ready to start, so the other prefects and captains probably weren’t far behind. Unless only one each were doing the talking. Either way, Beezus and Spike probably were around watching, and she glanced around for them as she discreetly popped another truffle into her mouth. At least she’d have a good view, and she turned back as the headmistress stood up and spoke. She definitely had a good view.

There was food in her stomach and she was now in a much better mood. This meant she would be able to tolerate the pink a bit more no matter how excessive it was UGH.

She got herself closer to the podium so she could listen...how else would she hear? There were still some cookies that she had in hand and that meant she was all set in case this got to being like one of those annoying prize giving ceremonies that she usually slept through. They weren't exactly chocolate frogs--couldn't bring those out often in case the healer saw, but they would do, especially the sugar cookies. Heh.

She looked curiously at the student leaders for a moment. How had they managed to pull it off anyway? The trophies...probably had a vanishing charm used on them but...but the clues, they were so...so different and even had the Ravenclaws puzzled. YES they were puzzled because they were the last to arrive and had to go all the way out to the whomping willow because they're captain wasn't good at reading!

Oh! But if he helped planning it...sabotage maybe...?

With the word from Bunz to get the party started, Sierra nodded and then stepped up to the podium. She held a shiny, silver trophy in her hand, which had been engraved with the announcement she was about to make. "As you most of you know," because, duh, she'd been here for seven years, "I'm Sierra Greingoth, the female prefect of Slytherin house. We had a lot of fun planning this event for you. I could stand up here and give you quotes about house unity and all that jazz, but really, we just did it for fun."

*BEAM*

"Thanks to Mr. Firth for being in the right place at the right time." She flashed an extra special smile his way. "So enough about that. We have some awards to give out, and the really cool thing about these awards is that they'll be housed in the trophy room, along with all the other trophies that'll soon be returned. For now, though, each house gets to keep their trophy until it's time to move it to the trophy room."

"I'm giving out the award for "Most Logical," which I'm pleased to say goes to RAVENCLAW HOUSE! Will a Ravenclaw please come forward to accept your trophy?" she said.

OOC: As you can see, the trophy is in the form of a SIGGY, which means all members of Ravenclaw house are free to wear the siggy. Just make sure you upload it to your own photo account!

Uh... awards? For random reasons? Sounded good to Elise, it did! Taking a spot near the podium, she bounced in anticipation. Podiums meant speeches and as long as Elise wasn't GIVING the speech, it was fine. So the first award was for Most Logical house?

Seriously?

It wasn't like they could give the award to Hufflepuff, could they? Nope. Hufflepuff might get most hardworking house or something, but definitely not most logical. Not Gryffindor either. They'd probably get most crazy house. And Slytherin'd probably be something along the lines of most... sneaky. Being logical was a Ravenclaw award for sure. And see? Elise was right.

BEAMING at Sierra and being the nearest, Elise climbed up to the podium to take the trophy. TROPHY, PEOPLE! Ravenclaw got it FIRST! Yeah. Raising the trophy above her head, she beamed at the crowd. BEHOLD THE AWESOMENESS OF RAVENCLAW.

"Thank yooooou!"

Yeah, they were just that Ravenclawsome.

Spike was awkwardly caught between the buffet and the podium. His stomach was growling for food, and he wasn't entirely sure whether he was meant to be up there with those presenting the trophies. It didn't seem that any of the others not involved in trophy presenting were there though, so it probably wasn't worth trying to sneak up to the front. His job had been already been done behind the scenes, and he didn't need to be in the limelight - he'd gotten his reward from playing along with everyone and seeing how they worked together.

Shunning the buffet for now, Spike took another licorice wand from his pocket and joined Kendall just as Sierra took over the podium. "Have fun?" he asked with a grin. A grin that only widened as he heard the winners. He cheered heartily.

"Go Ravenclaw!" He might have been in on it all, but he was still going to celebrate his house's achievements.

Milton grinned when Ravenclaw was awarded for their logic. That wasn't really surprising, though. Ravenclaw's were all about logic except for Milton.

After Elise had come up to accept the award and Sierra sat down, Milton got up to the podium and cleared his throat loudly, the trophy in his hand. "Well, fellow students, friends, comrades... enemies." Stinky looks for YOU Alexa, and Lottie. Milton held the shiny silver trophy above the podium. "This trophy goes to the house who showed the ability to work together the best. And it goes to.... Gryffindor!" Yippeeee. He would clap, but his hand was full of trophy.

"Someone from Gryffindor please come up to accept the trophy." Someone who didn't want to hit him, please.

Lex watched the first trophy being handed out and you know, she would have been okay with Ravenclaw getting most logical...'cause you know, that was expected, but 'cept, there was no Mama Vivi or Louisa in that house anymore. All they had was Milton...and he wasn't very impressive. She was hardly sure he could read. She still cheered as Elise collected the trophy because one person didn't make the house. There were still tonnes of people that could make up for him.

She watched Milton take the stage next with another shiny trophy. Ooooooo. And what's this? He was giving her looks. Fiiiiiiine, she had eyes. She could give looks toooooooo and she would have but she was much too busy making faces at him instead.

Her face making was interrupted however when she heard him say the trophy belonged to Gryffindor--and for being able to work together best too! Go figure! Something like that was usually won by the Puffers wasn't it?

Meh, she wouldn't complain.

Instead she hopped up and headed to collect it. When she got up to him she stuck her tongue out at him and was tempted to kick him in the shin BUT SHE DIDN'T before giving him a cheeky grin and heading back to where she was.

A shiny trophy for Gryffindor? Today was a good day.

Oakey stood up just as Milton took his seat, and moved over to the podium. He would have prefered giving out the award for Gryffindor or his own house, but nope. They had to mix things up between the four of them. He of course got stuck with the House of students that despised anything clad in yellow...most of them anyways. "Hi Guys."...Good introduction Oakey. "This Event wouldn't have been a success without the determination you all had in finding the trophies." good save, now finish! "The Trophy I have here," Oakey took the Trophy out from under his arm raising it above his head. "Goes to the House that displayed more ambition to find the missing trophies!"
He lowered the trophy he held back down and held it to his chest. "Someone from Slytherin please collect their House's newest trophy?
Let's go with a Snake that didn't hate his guts right now, was there a snake that tolerated him at least?

Kat was standing there, watching as almost EVERY house got a trophy. Why wasn't ANYONE giving an award to Slytherin? She was eyeing each trophy handed to the other house, wishing that maybe the prefects said it in mistake and the trophy was actually for Slytherin. In fact, maybe all of the trophies should've been for Slytherin.

And then Oakster went to the podium to present the trophy for 'Most Ambitious'. Now Kat was definitely eyeing the trophy, even way more than she eyed the other ones. That trophy was for Slytherin, and it was a sure bet. Indeed, the trophy was for her house. But nobody wanted to claim it? Well, okay.

The Slytherin went up on stage to accept the trophy for her house. If someone wanted to get it but didn't, that was their loss already for NOT going there first. The trophy was in Kat's hands now, to get their facts straight. Accepting the trophy, Kat made a respectful nod and small smile at the Hufflepuff prefect. "Thanks." That was respectful enough, right? Good.

Heck yeah, the trophy was THEIRS NOW. OHOHOHOHO.

The thirteen year old sat at the table she'd joined Ethan and Minerva at and listened to the announcements. Yeah, it was a fun hunt I guess. Even if it wasn't real... And trophies? Well, She looked at the trophy for most logical that was given to Ravenclaw I guess we could've seen that one coming. Let me guess, Hufflepuff is going to win for the fastest finding? Maybe? While she waited to see the next trophy, she gave Ethan a quick look with a smirk that said something to the effect of "Are these supposed to be surprising outcomes?" She smiled at the free entertainment though, and while the back of her mind was burning with the thoughts of unfinished homework and much needed studying, she was happy to be out of classes and away from her books even if just for a little while.

Awesome! This was going so well and Selina just wanted to like, ugh, hug people? They were such smart, little ickles. They took forever to lug themselves up to the podium- all of them needed some cardio obviously- but beyond that she was really pleased about how this whole event had turned out. Mostly because the PREFECTS AND CAPTAINS got to doop the student body, which basically meant that they had effectively pranked them. Oh yeah, they were sort of awesome. Not even sort... they were amazingly awesome. Especially her little lions.

Clapping her hands, she waved at the student body and went on with a huge grin on her face, "First off, I would like to take this chance to thank ALL of you who participated for all of your hardwork and determination. I also would like to point out that we got you, which deserves a round of applause on our end." Basically, it was time for everyone to clap. Maybe she should have brought one of those clap signs. One side would say clap and the other would say boo. Not that ANYONE would be booing anyone here. Duh.

Shaking out her hair, she went on, "Okay, moving on. Last but not least out of all of these trophies we have the trophy for the most helpful. Because our Hufflepuff's were PARTICULARLY GOOD FINDERS." They had, after all, helped everyone find the trophy. Helpful little finders. Good for the Puffers. Claps for them.

Lifting up the trophy, she said, "If a Puffer, I MEAN, someone from the Hufflepuff house could come up to collect their trophy that'd be awesome." So basically, get your cardio on Hufflepuff. There was no time for doddlers.

Most helpful? Yeah, Ella could see that. As far as she was concerned she really liked helping people and it seemed like a pretty special award for Hufflepuff to have. Mhm, it totally did.

As for who was going to go up and accept the award, Ella looked around and blinked. Was no one going to go? MEEP! Did that mean she should? The blonde wasn't particularly excited about going up in front of everyone but gah, she wanted to be helpful.

Quickly and quietly, Ella made her way up to the podium and accepted the trophy from Selina. "Thanks, Ms. Head Girl!" The blonde said, giving the older girl a BEAM and a quick hug. Hugs were sort of necessary with Ella so she apologized for any weirdness. Then with a little smile and nod of the head, the blonde made her way back to her seat.

Gooooo Hufflepuff!
