As you enter the Great Hall, you'll notice something different about the tables this term; chiefly, that there are more of them. There's an extra table sitting crossways at the top of the Hall, just under the staff dais. Is this table a permanent addition to the Great Hall, or is it just here for the feast? Either way, there's an odd assortment of visitors seated at the table. If the group assembled are in fact Hogwarts students, then they look as though they are old enough to have been failed several decades over.

But that's not your concern just yet, for your growling stomach is surely of more importance to you. The weather was pleasant enough on your journey to school and it is no different now. There's nary a cloud in the sky, just a nice crescent moon and a smattering of stars. As you take your seats with your friends to watch the Sorting, you might notice a few gorgeous falling stars cross the ~~ceiling~~ night sky.

Welcome to the beginning of the 2079-2080 school year!

Selena didn't remember being so nervous for anything. She wasn't the type to get nervous. At least, she never though that she was. But here she was, standing at the entrance of the Great Hall, taking a deep breath in and out out. She was back here at Hogwarts. She hadn't been here for much too long. The Slytherin girl smoothed out her blouse and skirt, and fiddled with the piece of jewelry on her left wrist. Was she really back here? Selena took one more deep breath, hoping to calm her nerves down. She pinched her hand.

This was real. She was here. And with a bright smile, Selena walked through the doors, her eyes immediately drawn to the sky. Yes. She was back and this was definitely something wonderful. Her legs almost drew her to the Slytherin table, but she refrained from doing so. She wasn't a student anymore. With a quick toss of her hair over her shoulder, and a wave to everyone she saw, she continued to walk to the table.

"Helloooooo~" Selena called out as she walked. It was definitely nice to be back.

Yet another Hogwarts Start of Term Feast! Harold was glad that he was still getting to attend these nights even after he had graduated all those years ago.

The Board of Governors Treasurer and owner of the Three Broomsticks had made the walk up from the village once he was sure that the way would be clear of bustling carriages full of kids and had arrived at the front gate just as they were unloading. He walked into the Castle surrounded by students who really didn't take much notice of him in their excitement to be home again. He envied them sometimes. But he was still apart of the school so that was all that really mattered to the old Hufflepuff.

Hops entered the Entrance Hall and quickly swept into the Great Hall and towards the table Anastasia had mentioned that he and the other Board members and candidates would be seated.

Carter grinned as he entered the Great Hall. He hadn't set foot here in... what was it?... four years? Merlin. That was far too long.

He looked around and had to stop himself from heading directly to the Gryffindor table. Old habits die hard, right?

But, his eyes did scan the Gryffindor table debating on whether or not to make a stop at his old stomping ground. But that was a bit... unprofessional, wasn't it? Maybe he'd just head straight to the spare table that was designated for the Board of Governors candidates.

And with that, he straightened the giraffe tie his new wife had picked out for him, and headed toward the table.

It had been years since Roxanne had stepped foot in Hogwarts. Yet, it didn't seem like the castle had changed one bit. Same grey stones composing the walls and floors, same draftyness, same noises, it even smelled the same. But it was different because of the way and why she was here. As a Board of Governors candidate. She had never expected this particular twist to her life, but when it came up, she had jumped at it. And now here she was. She made her way out of the doorway and over to what she assumed was the Governors'/Governors candidates table (since 'Yo yo yo' girl was there) with a genuine smile on her face.

Oichi felt a tingle down her spine as she re-entered Hogwarts once again. Even now going on her 5th year, she always found coming back to Hogwarts exciting. She soon saw the Great Hall doors and her heart began to race. She entered the Hall with all her classmates and headed for her table. Oh, it was going to be so exciting to welcome new firsties and new students to Gryffindor.

Damon walked into the great hall with a smile. He hated to admit it felt good to be back but it truly did... And he was hoping for a good year, with dating Belle and having a few true friends. Now all he could hope for was that people ~~Ariana~~ would leaving him alone and let him be happy without their added drama.

Erik felt rather exposed as he walked into the massive hall of Hogwarts for the first time. His first reaction was to stop walking and start checking every potted plant, nook, and cubbyhole for some sort of hidden spyware...but that was just his paranoia getting the best of him. He looked sharp, he was sure the students were here to have a good meal, and all would go just fine.

No spilled drinks this time. Food fights were not off the table though. Smiling a bit at the thought of lobbing some pie into his competitors' faces, Erik continued on through the entrance hall and into the room with all the enchanted ceiling and impressive tables.

The extra table that was placed in the great hall had been incorporated excellently. Or, that's what Dash would have said if it actually didn't look completely out of place.

It was not exactly his normal time or arrival, a bit later than he usually showed up for the fesat but Dash was fine with that. All that meant was that his colleagues would already be engrossed in conversations and he would not have to make small talk with the ones he didn't like.

Stealing a glance to his side, at Althea as they walked toward their respected tables Dash smirked. "You know, you keep coming back here." He noted. Back to the castle. First the seminar, now running for governor. "I think it's a little to late for you to get your job back." Altough...he could see that Bellaire was still at the table, and she would be the best person to take the job back from.

Once she was fired.

"Please. I happen to enjoy making more than you do." Althea responded with a smile as she looked around. It was a little annoying that they had separate tables, but he could join her after the speech and whatnot. She reached out and gave his hand a little squeeze before letting go and eyeing the table.

Hmm. Best find a seat then, she supposed.
