Sierra stepped outside the Slytherin common room and came to a stop near the exit. Or the entrance, whichever way you chose to look at it. She really had no idea where she was going...maybe to visit her mom, but she just needed to get out of the common room for a while. She'd been doing more homework than was healthy for the average student. She'd put down her quill and parchment with a sigh and just headed out.

Now...where to go?

After being lazy in the boys' dorm reading a book about Quidditch, Richard decided he needed a bit fresh air. Or maybe he could even do some jogging. Right...he needed to keep his attractive self in good shape after all and he had yet to do any of the daily exercises today. So he changed into his favourite t-shirt and track suit bottom, the kind of stuff he liked to wear lately even when he was not going outside to exercise. Simply because it was comfy. Way better than the school uniform. Yes, maybe he rocked even the school uniform, looking sexy even in it but this was better.

When he finally made his way to the common room, he was surprised to see that no one was around. Hmm...Aurora was not around either. Whatever...hands in pockets, he exited the common room only to see someone standing at the entrance. Forgotten the password or something? Hmm...actually it did not look like she wanted to get in.

''Well...well...well...'' Richard began walking around the girl, who was no other than Sierra Greingoth to his pleasure, then stopped right in front of her, smirking widely. ''Did someone lost her way?'' he asked fixing his gray eyes on her. ''Never thought a pretty prefect like you was capable of that?''

Hearing another person's voice, seemingly talking to her, Sierra turned. "Turner," she said, eyeing him as if he'd just grown three heads, "what are you circling me for like you're some vulture looking for its prey?" Really? She should just draw her wand and cast on him until he was dangling from the ceiling by his feet. Then she could walk away without being circled.

He finally stopped right in front of her, though, and fed her some stupid line about being a pretty prefect. Did he and Dylan ever stop trying to pick up girls? "I didn't lose my way. I just had to get out of there for a little bit and get some fresh air," she said. "I've got way too much homework." More than what was healthy, just as she thought earlier.

She eyed his choice of attire. "You going out to the pitch or something?" she asked. Quidditch was usually always on her mind, especially when talking to another member of the team.

Vulture looking for its prey?

Richard had to smirk at those words. So he did. Oh well....she kinda got it right but the phrase had some negative air attached to it. While what he was doing was similar, the Slytherin boy did not think it should be regarded in a way that was like the relation between the predator and the prey. He was in no way there to harm her so he just chuckled. ''Richard.'' he said once his small laughter was gone. ''The name is Richard.'' Yeah, pretty girls had to call him with his first name. It did not show much intimacy when it was only his last name. ''Some call me Rich too.'' She probably already knew his name but he was going to try his chance anyway.

And she needed fresh air. Good. It looked like today was his lucky day because he was just going out too. He tilted his head to the side as she spoke and smiled. ''Too much homework? That's not fair for a girl like you. And totally unfair to me; it looks like it is because of them that i don't get to see your beautiful face whenever i want to.'' He stood straight and confident when he realized that she was eyeing him, the he nodded at her question. ''Yeah. I thought i would go out and exercise a bit. Visiting the pitch is not a bad idea. Would you like to join me?''

Please say yes......

Sierra caught that smirk on his face. She narrowed her eyes in response, as she tried to figure out just what Richard Turner was up to. She only nodded when he corrected her and gave his first name instead. She couldn't help it. She was so used to calling the boys on the team by their last name. "Richard," she said, agreeing to use his first name, at least for the time being. She'd think about the Rich part.

Then she laughed, even throwing her head back some. "Oh, come on. You feed me all those lines and expect me to swoon?" she asked, grinning. Had he been dating Hufflepuffs all this time or something? "Slytherin girls aren't weak, Richard. You should know that." She gave him another grin. He'd have to really impress her if he wanted to be more personal with her than just a teammate.

So he wanted to join her on the pitch? Now that could be a way to impress her. "Game on," she said with a smirk. Then she nodded toward the door and headed for it, expecting him to follow.

Richard.

Right. That was way better. She should call her Richard all the time. No Turner at all unless it was really necessary. ''That's better.'' he said with a grin. The grin did not vanish even though she laughed at his words. Her laughter was nice to hear. He liked it so he just kept grinning maybe a little bit wider this time.

''Swoon?'' he repeated eyeing her a bit. ''Well...no. I did not expect you to swoon but it would not be so bad if you did that.'' Yeah...it could be fun to see her swoon, he wondered what it would be like. Maybe he would manage making her do that later. Who knew? He knew that he was capable of that and he was very well aware of that the smooth words he had used so far were not his best. He kept the better ones for later.

''Good.'' the Slytherin boy said when she agreed to go to the pitch. Before following her, he stared at her back a bit and smirked.

Daichi leaned against the wall near the invisible entrance to the Slytherin Common Room. He had promised Eliza to help her with a spell which he found funny. Normally he had to find someone that could help him...but now it seemed that it was reversed.

He was glad to be useful for once though. And he knew the spell perfectly since he used it almost every day. The Prefect placed his bag beside him on the ground he then took out his Phoenix feather wand and twirled it around in his fingers while waiting.

Before he came here though, he had rushed up the dormitory to grab a dirty plate that still had food stains on it. Yes, he had sneaked a plate of food from the great hall to eat in bed, so what? And this plate would be perfect for this spell to practise on.

Her bookbag was completely stuffed. Totally filled to the brim with homework, quills, text books, and random objects she'd found lying around that she planned to use for practicing spells on. She was struggling to keep the bag on her shoulder as she went down all of the stairs towards the Slytherin common room to meet Daichi for help.

The dungeons were not really her favorite place. They were so dark...and creepy. Slytherins must've been braver than what people gave them credit for, because she wasn't sure if she could sleep very soundly down here. What if there were creepy-crawly bugs down here - the kind that hid in the dark and in your shoes and under your covers so that they could surprise you when you were tired and just wanted to rest, or when you were in a hurry and trying to get to class on time? Yeck, the thought of it made her skin prickle.

Thankfully she did not have to sleep here though and was only meeting her friend for some wandwork lessons. "Hiya Daichi!" she said happily when she saw him. "Thanks for meeting me," she said as she approached him. She sat her bag down and pulled out her notepad, ready to learn. "Crazy in Potions, right? I'm still bummed I didn't finish my potion, but maybe next time I'll be better." She tried not to get too hung up on it. Besides, Daichi was going to teach her, so next time she wouldn't have any trouble at all! With cleaning things anyway...

Still spinning his wand in his hand, Daichi grinned when he heard Eliza's voice. He looked to the other side of the corridor and had to give her credit for being brave enough to come here. Daichi wasn't a bad person , he was more a relaxed hufflepuff kind of guy but he knew some of the other Slytherins could be a bit....well like a Slytherin.

"Glad you could make it" he chuckled as he eyed her bag that seemed to be stuffend full with books and whatnot. Had he carried that many stuff as well in his second year?! "That looks heavy... You can look up the featherweight charm in your charms book. It makes the bag feeling lighter while still having the objects inside." he said as he stopped twirling his wand. "I never actually tried the spell so if i try i'm afraid i'll blow it up" he laughed.

....but seriously he would...

Crazy in potions? Daichi nodded his head. "I know, hopefully we get more time next lesson." he was still a bit perplexed how the Head Girl AND a Prefect had messed up their potions... Shaking his head, the Prefect looked at Eliza and saw she was holding a clipboard.

"ehm...so i have a plate right here"he pointed to the plate on the ground that had a bit of left over sauce on it. He was NOT going to hold it while she practised on it later on "And you'll be trying to vanish the plate AFTER you managed to vanish this." he held up a small stone that was perfect for a beginner. The reason why he had also took the plate alone was because the times that he saw Eliza she came over as a pretty smart student.

Ravenclaw....all nerds..

He set the plate down in front of her feet. "the incantation is ev. an. ES. Koh... Evanesco"

He waited for a moment, Maybe she wanted to write it down? Since she was holding her notebook. "As for the wand movement you have to flick your wrist in a small circle" he said and demonstrated it first.

"practise the movement first without saying the incantation"

Eliza's jaw went ajar at the mention of the featherweight charm. You can?! Oh my gosh, and to think I've been lugging this around everywhere! Thanks Daichi, I'll have to check my books and try it out sometime." In fact, she scribbled down a note to herself on her parchment right that moment, lest she forget. Though how she could forget such a useful spell to learn, she wasn't sure. She laughed, "Yes, let's not blow anything up just yet."

Eliza nodded in agreement at hoping there would be more time to complete tasks in Potions next time. They took so long and then to be cut off short - It was like running a marathon and having someone push you off the trail in the last mile. No bueno.

"Ohh so Evanesco vanishes things? I don't know why I thought it cleaned them. So was Professor Lafay focusing on just vanishing the dirty stuff in her cauldron and not the entire cauldron itself?" she asked. Because she was sure it was sort of like banishing that they had done in Charms last year where you had to be really focused on what object you really wanted to move, right?

She eyed the stone with determination. She was going to vanish that tiny thing, definitely. And then? Onto that plate he had brought. That was awfully nice of him to even bring props to use, she thought. I'll have to think of a nice way to repay him somehow. Hmmm...a drawing? He likes ducks so...hmmm...yeah...

Focus. She wrote down the incantation in her notebook too.

Evanesco - the vanishing spell...charm?

Ev-an-es-co (not eh-van-es-co like you want to do)

Flick wrist in small circle

Okay...let's see here... She did the movement like he said, a flick of the wrist that made a small circle in the air. She did it a few times, to get the motion down. "Does it matter if it's clockwise or counterclockwise? Or maybe that's only in Potions," she joked with a chuckle. "Do I aim the circle I'm making at the object?" She was full of questions, all the time. But she hoped it wasn't annoying. She wasn't trying to be nit-picky, she just didn't want to mess up - that's all.

Daichi chuckled as he watched how Eliza quickly scribbled down the note about the featherwheight charm. He waited until she was ready and listened to her question. "Yes, it's a vanishing spell" he thought she had known that... turned out she didn't!

Ah, and then she asked a Ravenclawish question. The Slytherin thought for a second as he rubbed his chin. "Well, from what i think you can vanish something if you concentrate on the thing you want to vanish" that was understandable right? "So like in potions, the thing you want to vanish is the potion and not the whole cauldron. Those are pretty expensive..." he laughed. "Concentration is the key to success with this spell" yup yup. It is funny that Daichi was good at this spell since he had the concentration span of a ...hmm he wondered how the ducks were at the pond? Maybe he should visit them after this....

Wait....what was he talking about again? Concentrating and...oh right! The evanesco spell! The Prefect pocketed his wand and watched the little second year with crossed arms as she practised the wand movement and raised an eyebrow at her questions.

Counter or clockwise? "I think its clockwise.." he said as took back his wand and flicked it to see which turn he made. "Yep, clockwise" At the second question he slapped his forehead. "Ah, sorry i forgot to tell. Yes you have to aim at the thing you want to vanish or else you will vanish something else when you wave it around randomly"

What if she turned out to be super good at this spell and she vanished HIM?! eeeeeek he didn't want to be vanished!

"Try it out" he told her and gave her the rock. "Better place it on the floor first" he quickly added.

"Oh good, so it's like when we banished things in Charms last year? So when we vanish things...do they go somewhere? Can we get them back if we want, or are they just gone forever?" she asked with a little worry in her voice. What if I vanish something by accident and I can't get it back again? Or what if I get mad at something and want to undo what I did? I'll have to be really really careful... Magic was amazing, but it was definitely something to be reasonable with. She would have to make an effort to keep herself from going all willy-nilly throwing spells she's learned here and there. No good ever came from getting carried away.... Unless you were carried away on a cabana to some nice island with a palm tree for shade or something.

She chuckled too at his mention of vanishing cauldrons. "Yeah I definitely wouldn't want to have to write home asking for money for a new cauldron!" Because they really were expensive. She had no idea how much things would add up to before she came to Hogwarts, but now she was starting to understand the concept of money earned and money spent - and well, it really made spells like making your own clothes and umbrellas and stuff a lot more appealing to her.

"Clockwise, got it." She let out a slow, steady stream of air as she aimed her wand at the rock that she'd placed on the ground. "Clockwise, aim, fire!" she announced jokingly, trying to relax herself.

"Evanesco!" she said as she flicked her wrist clockwise in small circle at the rock. It rocked from side to side slightly, but that was all. She looked over at Daichi, a bit embarrassed. "Um...maybe it didn't go anywhere because I wasn't sure if I really wanted it to. Do I have to picture where I want it to go? Or just really really want it to go away and not care what happens to it?" Because oddly enough, she was started to worry about the rock. Sure, it was just a rock and maybe she put too much personification into inanimate objects, but she couldn't help it. It was something that just happened sometimes.

Daichi scratched the top of his head. He tried to recall what he had read in the text book and was glad he had done his OWLs last term so it was still a bit fresh in his memory. Despite that he failed the practical charms, he did pass the theory part which was all he needed right now.

"Well, the Banishing charm we used in Charms last term didn't vanish the balls we had to shoot , remember?" he said as he stopped scratching his head , mweh he needed to shower after this. He always wanted to check out the Prefects bathroom! The Slytherin shook his head and continued on. "We used Depulso that time so we only pushed an object away."

Another question, the sorting hat had been right about putting this girl in Ravenclaw. Daichi thought for a moment as a frown appeared on his face as he tried to remember. "Ehm...vanished objects go in to non being...i'm not sure what that means though" mweh, magic was hard

The Prefect crossed his arms as he leaned against the wall when Eliza took out her wand. He nodded his head at the clockwise part and then flinched when she said fire.

For a second, Daichi thought that something had gone wrong and she said that dreadful word because there really was a fire. But after a quick glance, face a little pale, he saw that it was nothing and he let out a quiet sigh.

If she somehow managed to put flames on the stone then he was OUT OF HERE! Sorry kid. He watched intently as she performed the spell and when it didn't work he gave her a reassuring smile, or atleast he tried to because he never gave that smile before so maybe he just looked stupid at this moment.

"It's okay, it's a pretty complex spell it's perfectly normal you couldn't do it at the first try" and then she explained why she thought it hadn't worked. Daichi chuckled because that was exactly how he had been when he was her age. Aaaaand yet another question~! "You're the curious type aren't you?" he teased. "Try imagining the stone dissapearing completely, it's just a stone you know. There could be a spell that re-appears vanished objects but i'm not sure about that...for now just focus on vanishing it"

"Ohhh that's right, I'm sorry," she responded when Daichi corrected her about Charms last term. "You're right, we just pushed them. I remember now." Geez this is getting embarrassing. I can't do the vanishing charm, I forget what I learned last year...good grief. What kind of Ravenclaw am I? Was I sorted wrong?

Then Daichi further explained vanishing. "Gosh, okay. Vanishing sounds serious. Just stick to bad potions and rocks with that one, right?" she tried to joke again, to distract from how uneducated she must seem to the older student.

She turned to him as she asked her question and saw him try to make her feel better with a smile. He's super nice. Am I just awful at this? She listened as he tried to explain how to do the spell better, and she nodded at each point he made. She blushed a little when he called her curious. Hopefully he doesn't mind it... Yeah, I guess I am," she said from beneath her hair that had fallen in front of her face. She looked up at him and added, "I'm not annoying you am I? Because sometimes I guess...well I can see how it'd be a bother having me ask so many things. You're nice to help me." She looked back to the stone again, and remembered his words, 'Just focus on vanishing it'.

She faced it full on, stared that little rock down, and thought, I'm sorry little rock...but you've got to go. For now. We'll see about getting you back some day, or maybe not. But wherever you're going is probably better than staying in these dungeon hallways anyway, so... "Evanesco!" clockwise flick of the wrist and wham-she-bam, the rock was gone.

She blinked in disbelief and turned to Daichi, eyes full of amazement. "I did it?...I did it!" Bye bye little rock... "Thank you Daichi! You're a great teacher!" she smiled and clapped her hands around her wand in delight.

It was business time, Cassia left the common room with her bag slung over her shoulder. She was carrying very interesting and important stuff. Stuff that she and Blue had organized. It was time their business started. After thinking it through and talking over and over about it, it's been decided that they start there agency or whatever people would like to call.

The agency in which they helped people and couples and stuff. The flyers tell it all.

Standing by the wall, the third year retrieved one flyer and hung it on the dampwall so everyone would see it! She grinned at her hand job which took time in the dormitories. She was to make the flyers while Blue was to make the sign for their office..or you know the brooms cupboard where they'll be working.

With an approving nod, she turned on her heels and headed out. She wanted to go to the grounds now! Hogwarts population must be informed.

Jory now headed to the Dungeons. He had decided he would post hang four of the posters on the corridors leading to the respective House’s common rooms. He walked down the corridor towards the Snakes’ Common Room.

The Walls were quite damp but the Puff hoped he would be able to find a spot that wasn’t too much damp because it would damage the poster. Nearing the entrance to the Room, he placed his hand against the wall searching for a good spot. That was when he noticed there was something else stuck on it. He examined it and realised it was some sort of advertisement for dating.

Grinning, because it reminded him of those online dating services a bit, Jory took one of the posters and performed the Sticking charm once again, then stuck it onto the Wall. “There! Noticeable.’’ Now, onto the next Corridor

Nerida headed to the Dungeons. She had already gotten the Gryfindor corridors or entryways now she needed Slytherin and Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. So to Slytherin in was!

Nearing the entrance to the Snakes Common Room. She looked at some of the others as she walked through the corridor looking for a wall that she could place her poster on. A dating thing? And look it was one of those posters she had seen at the Gryffies walls!

Carefully because she didn't want to damage one of the posters she Then carefully, with a flick of her wand, cast "Geminio", duplicating the poster. She performed the Sticking charm once again, then stuck the poster onto the wall. Now onto the next hall.

So she had taken a trip DOWN the stairs for a change. She just needed to post two more of these posters. So what she did was walk down to the dungeons - because she really wanted to practice potions - so she'd do that. She was just going to go and post two more posters down here and then do potions.

Because potions was cool.

"Geminio" she cast the sticking spell and placed her poster against what just happened to be the crack of the Slytherin's wall-door. Who would care if it would rip in half.

Aspen hadn't gotten her wand out... yet. She was still casually observing her little brother's best friend, wondering how best to get his toes out of his socks. She had a few ideas, but truthfully she didn't intend to scare him.

Much.

Just a little. A little fear was healthy, right?

"You won't scream, right?" Because then she'd have to silence him, too, and that'd take an extra step. Good things to know prior to stringing little Slytherins up in their dungeons.

There was something very sinister about standing in this dark corridor with a girl who was trying to get to his toes. Especially when he knew that Aspen Odessa was a little bit scary.

Scream? "HaH!" Theo croaked, a little louder than he had hoped it would come out. "I'm not scared. Not of toe-nabbing Ravenclaws." And this required a sassy hand on the hip. Because despite his worries, Theodore Kinsley was a good actor in the times that mattered the most.

"Come on then, Odessa." It felt weird to refer to 'Odessa' as someone other than West, hmm. Theo pulled his foot out of his shoe and wiggled the toes about in the air.

Though, he popped it back into his shoe straight away afterwards.

"Why would you be afraid?" Aspen asked, smiling to the third year she was DEFINITELY going to have to silence. He was loud. "Not all screams are fear fueled." You know, like pain. Pain could produce screams. Just saying.

She watched his little display, found it to be rather cocky, but let it be. Once his foot was securely back in his shoe though, Aspen considered it to be go time.

The game plan was to get him to willingly take off his shoes and socks and not actually forcibly remove them. So, with a glance down the corridor to check for teachers, tattlers, or otherwise, Aspen pulled her wand out and in the blink of an eye - she'd started a MAJOR FIRE around Theo.

A ring of fire. He had room and all, but escape? Nahh.

She'd not suggest he just take his shoes off and throw them to her. She'd wait and see what Little Theo did when left to think for himself.

"Who ever screams for a good reason?" Her smiling made him feel very uneasy. He'd definitely need to have words with West about his sister's sanity.

Theo stiffened up a bit when he saw her wand, but he knew it was only a matter of time before that was brought out. Poor girl needed a bit of magical help, dawww. That was fine by him.

But... HOLY COW. A FIRE.

He almost fell backwards on his butt, but soon decided to think on his feet. The boy pulled out his own wand and used the one spell that he could actually perform with no effort whatsoever. The water one, ironically. "Aguamenti!" He swooshed it around the ring of fire surrounding him. and there we go, distinguished. Wam BAM.

Theo tapped his foot on the floor, grinned, and just twiddled his wand through his fingers.

Aspen was still smiling, though now it was more genuine. Good boy for putting out the fire! And for not screaming, wetting panties, OR crying. In her way, she was proud of him. As West's little pal, Aspen had sort of mentally adopted him anyway.

And in all honesty, she'd just wanted to see his toes to help. But this was fine, too. Two birds, if you will.

Casually, and in hopes that he wouldn't even notice, Aspen discretely sent a spell his way to make his shoelaces vanish.

"As an aside, how do you feel about a hug?" Like right now?

Why was she smiling? Theo just wanted to wipe that smile off her face because he wanted to win, and he wanted to win good. GAH, he needed to catch West on his walkie talkie, but he had yet to teach his best friend how to use one yet so it was USELESS. Uselessssssssssssssssssss.

NO, he didn't want a hug?!!?!? But maybe that was what she wanted him to say? Since everyone knew that Theo hated hugging. Or touching. Or anything, actually. Theo was sooo onto her. "No. No way." Yeah, it was still a no.

"That would be weird." And he hadn't noticed his shoelaces. At all.
