Sierra stepped into the Great Hall and actually paused a few seconds before heading straight to the Slytherin table. This was her last time to walk into this Great Hall, fresh from the Hogwart's Express. She eyed each table, all six of them, as if trying to imprint them into her memory.

Wait. Six?!

She did a sweeping glance of the room and discovered there was an extra table of all sorts of unfamiliar people. SCOUTS?! That'd be about where her interest in them would lie, and if they weren't scouts? Ehh...

She glanced up at the staff table, smiled at a few familiar faces, and then took her place at the house table.

She was finally here.

Nina stepped into the Great Hall, she looked up and there was the famous enchanted ceiling. It definitely looked pretty. Her brothers had talked so much about this place that she was glad to be finally here. There were only couple of students in each table and looking over to hers, there was only a girl who looked a bit older than her.

Nina kept walking until she reached the Slytherin table and said "Hello" to the girl. She took a seat and waited for the feast to begin. She was STARVING.

This term will be interesting..

Not only because of he's the Head Boy this term. But this term he also heard that there would be Board of Governors candidate. The head boy noticed that there's an extra table and he concluded that's the table for the candidate. Yeah, it's kinda weird if Gerald Rush knew about that since he never cared about that. Not because he's a Head Boy but at the last summer he was interned in Daily Prophet and one of their assignment is interviewing the candidates (Even he didn't do it too much)

The blonde guy walked to the Slytherin table with his uniform and of course, the Head Boy badge. He just saw Sierra was already there and also another girl. "Sierra." He greeted his co-prefect there and just smiled to the girl. Where were the others?

FIFTH YEAR!

Ariana BEAMED walking into the great hall.. Boasting just a bit as she awaited all the first years & transfer people to sort. loosening her tie arounds her neck she did a fake cough.. gahh these things were just horrid.. a GIRL should NEVER wear a tie in any circumstance.. ever! though the colors were great thought she liked the green and silver yeah..

Looking around she saw sierra at her table along with someone she didn't know.. Mehhhhh Might as well talk to Griengoth..

"Hey Sierra." she said sitting across from the girl "How was your summer?" she asked .. small talk you know.. yeah

Oh and there was Gary too.. "Hey Rush." WHOA! WHAT IS THAT!? she eyed his NEW SHINY BADGE... "HEAD BOY!?" she said not yelling really but more shocked. she blinked at him several times And yeah Sierra didn't get a last name calling.. sierra might you know hex her or something.. weird scary girl.. meh but she was cool, in her ways and all

Officially back at Hogwarts.

This year should be interesting considering that a lot of professor just happened to quit this place, and Juliet is of course expecting a lot of new faces in the professors' table. For as long as some of her favorites are still sitting on that chair then she's good to go. However, one can always be curious as to who are the next teachers.

Juliet found a seat in the front row... semi front row. It has been quite awhile that she saw the presence of Hogwarts students. She was in France this summer and she didn't meet many people her age, so seeing the Slytherins and their houses here ready for the feast made her smile.

Speaking of feast, she looked at the empty table. "Food!" no food but she's hoping there would be and faster too. Come on! FOOD!!!

...and there was a voice.

Just one, because apparently Sierra had been the first to arrive at the house table. Imagine that. She turned around and eyed the girl. She had no idea who she was. She was either new or they'd just really never crossed one another.

"Hey," Sierra greeted in return. She may have said something else, but then GARY RUSH chose that exact moment to join them.



"Hello, Gary," she said, and she slid down the table a bit to take the spot right next to him. She really should find out if he had a girlfriend... Then if he did, Sierra would convince the poor girl that Gary thought she was scum. They'd break up and Sierra would move in like a spotted owl who'd just preyed upon a baby rabbit.

"So how was your summer?" she asked him. She glanced down at his badge again. "I know you got at least one piece of good news."



"What's up, Logan?" Sierra asked, grinning at one of her fellow teammates. Sierra smiled a little, thinking how the summer had started out really rough but ended on a high note. "Summer was alright. It was sort of difficult at first, but things worked out in the end." Right. Her mom was alive and well, and that made everything so much better. "What about yours?"



Someone called out for the food just then, and Sierra turned around with a blink. Okay, then...a cheer for the food. Or, the fact that the food was coming. She gave the girl an amused girl then turned back to Gary.

Nina was looking at the front table where there were adults... professors, perhaps? And just then the girl she just said hello also greeted back but she was already talking with the guy who just arrived. She returned the smile from the boy and turned away looking back at her table...empty table. Food, she needed it. No candy or stuff like that she wanted real food.

And it was like someone read her mind and said her thoughts out loud, another girl was here and excited about the food"I wish it was already here" she mumbled "They should hurry up" Sure they weren't the only Slytherins here so where were the others?

Start of term feast. Well, this was one event she missed. Two years ago, today, she had met Gary. Really? Two entire years ago?! That shocked her.

She looked up at the bare table, spotting some people. She decided to sit down by herself, away from the crowd. But she noticed he was there.
No, she would not go and sit by him. He had moved on, and she needed to understand that. But, as she watched him all she really wanted to do was to go over and speak to him.

His blue eyes spotted.. Logan, yeah.. That girl who he met at the station before. But don't worry, He'd remembered her name now. "Logan, hello." said him. From her expression, he could recognize that she looked surprised about the fact that this term, he's the Head Boy.

"Surprised about something, huh?" asked him suddenly. Don't lie, he could see it from your face, Logan!

Obviously, across her is Sierra Greingoth, looking at her like she was demented or a comedian. Snort. Either way, she was busy talking to Gary, which is odd because she never has or did, maybe???

Then someone caught her attention, her head immediately turned to the person who just mumbled something. "Wish it were too" Juliet agreed as well as she smiled to the unfamiliar girl talking to her. "Juliet, by the way" she added as she gestured her hand.

So this was the Slytherin table, eh?

It was cool! All the green and silver, yep, it definitely made this Baltazar feel at home. Peyton walked down the aisle and flopped herself on a random seat, glancing at the students around her.

"Hello, everyone!" she grinned. Introductions first, no? Of course! She wasn't going to refer to her peers as 'hey you' or the 'kid with the funny hair'.

Also, it'd be nice if someone told her about the extra table with the old people. She had a hunch those weren't professors...because...well, professors had their special table.

Perhaps they were spies?

She was startled to see him look at her. Caught in the act. She felt her face briefly flush. She wanted to know what had been happening in his life the past year.

And then he smiled. She gave a small smile back and turned away, seeing him in a conversation with a few other Snakes. She took a big sip from her goblet.

Melody stopped skipping once she was at her table. She smiled at her fellow Slytherins.

"I am Melody Sparks." She introduced herself and held out her hand to shake with the older kids especially to shake the hand of the perfect, or so she hopped to before she took her seat. The table was beautifully decorated in green emerald and silver. This was home.

It's only been two months since Kat had last been here. TWO MONTHS. And, guess what? She's missed the place. Not so bad, but she did. Walking to the Slytherin table, she noticed... HEY, why was there a fifth table? There were only four Hogwarts houses and Kat was sure of that information. Squinting a bit, she saw... old people?! Uhm... what were they doing here? And then, craning her neck a bit, she noticed a familiar face. Oh... that Harold dude, the Board of Governor person. So the candidates and current governors were here? What a surprise. Not. Kat didn't see why they had to be here... I mean, they're not even officially governors yet.

Ignore that. The fifth year went to join her fellow Snakes. HISS for all of you. "Hey, everyone," she said with a grin on her face. Slidding down to one of the seats, she saw her fellow Prophet intern who luckily had that darn bike with him. "Hello Garrett," she said. And then her eyes fell on... IS THAT A HEAD BOY BADGE?

..................... "Garrett why didn't you tell me you were head boy?" she said. Sneaky dude, he was. He could've been informative enough to tell people, but he chose to keep it quiet and hush-hush. We're having our eyes on you, Garrett, we are. Yes.

Then there were her snakes, the ones she always talked to. "Hi Sierra. Hi Logan," she said. Smiles accompanied of course. And... uhm, a familiar girl. Kat narrowed her eyes. "Zhenya?" she said, remembering the girl from that Around the World in a Hogwarts' Day event back in their first year. Yeah, that must be her. She was too familiar. And a new girl (Peyton<3) joined. Probably some third year or such, since she wasn't as ickle as a firstie. "Hi there, you must be a new student?" she asked. COUGH, Katrina Hudson being friendly. Oh, and she was also having her eyes on the Sorting Ceremony cos she wanted to see that boy Clement being sorted. Yeah, they were officially friends.

After this start of term feast his sixth year officially going to start. And to be honest, Daichi didn't know if he liked it. It meant that after this year he would be a seventh year and THEN he would graduate...wait...why was he even thinking about this at the BEGINNING of the year?

With a small shrug of his shoulders, the Slytherin Prefect made his way towards the Snake table while turning his badge a little so that the P was the right side up. He spotted Gary already there together with Sierra so that meant he was late. Mweh whatever... "Hey people~" he greeted them both with a wave of his hand and was about to sit down when his eyes found something else.

The Slytherin stared at a fifth table amongst the other house tables and blinked his eyes for a few seconds. Had he missed something? Still seated in mid air, Daichi turned his head back to his co leaders and looked at Sierra. She had family in the school staff right? So perhaps she would know.. "Hey Sierra, do you know who those people are?"


.........and wasn't that Selena? O___o

Still wondering about that odd table, Daichi's eyes found Juliet and he gave her a BIG WAVE! Like a flailing of the arms kind of wave~ hehe. And then proudly pointed at his chest where his badge was with the biggest grin he could show.

Juliet was getting hungrier by the minute. You know how you are like when you're quite hungry and yet you cannot see any sight of food around and it just makes you mad for no reason. Yeah, that's how Juliet is currently feeling. She's been playing with her fork this whole time and is seriously paying attention to the table. You know, in case food just pops out like it normally does. HEADMISTRESS. MAKE. THE. SPEECH! Make the speech.

Her attention was then caught by a familiar boy who is not to far from where she was but was flailing like mad. Daichi looked like he's too happy. Juliet smiled and wave back at him. She's of course, happy to see his face. It's been awhile that she hasn't.

Then she looked to where Daichi was pointing at. OH MY GOSH!!!!!

Juliet's eyes widened and a wider grin is stuck on her face "You're the other prefect? Congratulations, Daichi!!!!" she said in a happy tone. "That's soooo great!" even awesome.

Okay, yeah... that throw up feeling was back again. The whole daunting Head Girl nerves came suddenly rushing back tenfold and no matter how much she clutched onto Mortimer for support she could not really shake the feeling. Maybe that was because she knew that, well, the Slytherin table not that she would ever admit it had some of the student leaders she respected most. And the whole let down thing was like REALLY prominent here, besides Gryffindor because that was the house she was MOST terrified of dissapointing.

However, she swallowed her anxiousness and a little bit of what felt like throw up and approached the snakes. Yeah, always walking into the house was like walking into a fog where you never knew exactly what you were going to get. Slytherin's were super unpredictable. At least Gryffindors were consistently the SAME kind of crazy. THE GOOD KIND! WOOT! Merlin, she loved her little lions. They were so full of cuteness that she wanted to pinch their cheeks all day long. Cutiepies.

Once she was in snake territory though, she pounded on the table with her fist to try and get all of their attention and then waved her hands over her head, "OI! SNAKES! COOKIES FROM KURUMI!" Yeah, that was usual enough of a statement to get people to come running. It was KURUMI cookies. Even though Selina did feel a little like Kurumi's personal slave for doing this.

From where he was seated it looked like that there was something wrong with Juliet. He kept watching as she looked at her empty plate, and then to the staff table and he knew what was wrong. She must be hungry~ Well, Daichi was as well but he knew the food wouldn't appear until the Headmistress had done her speech.

Speaking of the Headmistress, he wondered how she would react when she saw that HE had been asked to be a Prefect. But then he figured that she probably had a say in it as well so now it made him wonder...why? Cause he always though that the woman did not like him..or was that just him? No point in thinking about that cause Juliet was waving back!

Still with the goofy grin stretched on his face, Daichi's cheeks blushed a little at the compliment. "Thank Juliet~!" he called from the other side of the table. "Had a good summer? I met Jonathan during the vacation!"



"KURUMI?!" The Slytherin literally snapped his head around to see the Head Girl at their table. He rubbed his neck and stared at before he automatically stood up. Because he thought that the girl had meant that Kurumi was there, Daichi stumbled over his feet as he ran towards the end of the table. "KURUMI?! WHERE IS SHE?!" he still shouted in excitment but then his eyes caught the cookies.

"Awww just the cookies?" he pouted, not caring that he was supposed to be a leadershippy right now. Oh well it was better than nothing. "Can i have one? pleeeeease?"

Ordinary and smooth train ride! That was so not Hogwarts but Cassia wasn't going to complain she appreciated it and gladly entered the castle with a very huge grin of her. She was home! Looking around her in glittering eyes as she headed towards the great hall. Where she slept half the term last year. The third-years eyes wandered off around taking in everything and everyone. Well, she tried to though she must've missed something. But everything was the way it was supposed to be!
Beaming, the thirteen years old made her way to the Snakes table. Her place! She'd drop by the other tables to say 'HI's and stuff later. Her house comes first. And as she neared the table she brightened up seeing all the familiar faces of her house-mates. Wasn't she glad to see them all! Though her not all her friends had come but they would eventually and they could meet afterwards at the common room. Which Cassia was dying to get to! And to her dormitory!

"HI everyone!" Cassia called out to all who was sitting. Oh and new prefect and head boy. That was cool! The Snake flashed them a grin along with the prefect Seirra. Then she looked around for a vacant seat and chose one close to Kat. "Hi Kat! How was your summer?!" She asked the older who had grown remarkably over the summer. So it wasn't just Cassia growing up huh. Of course not. But it was good because Cassia was feeling all weird and she was likely to have a talk with Kat. Considering that Kat is older and had experience and stuff.


Then looking around Cassia saw a new firstie coming to the table. Beaming Cassia waved at the new girl and grinned at her. "Hi Melody!" She said to the girl who introduced herself. "Welcome to Slytherin and to Hogwarts!" She said cheerfully. "I am Cassia. And I'm a third year." She introduced herself to the girl.

Theo had arrived, looking smarter than he had ever done before for a start of term feast. Cos he was a third year now. He had to think about girls and stuff. Well, he didn't HAVE to, but there was one particular girl that he still couldn't get off his mind. Their dinner date went well, but Theodore was too chicken to take her for a hand-in-hand stroll along the park like he'd planned. Never mind, it was a start.

He studied a few of the new faces as he made his way down the hall, but they didn't get his attention long when he saw his main peeps.

"Hi, everyone!" He beamed at Cassia, Ariana and Kat. Kat got a longer gaze, because she looked kinda different. Older and stuff. Maybe she'd had a growth spurt over the summer and was becoming a lady. MAYBE that's why she kissed West. Hummmmm....... He took a seat next to Cassia and sat up straight.

Surrounded by girls as usual.

Last start of term feast. Ever. Aurora walked confidently into the Great Hall, covering up her insecurities and fears about this year with a big smile and striding over to the Slytherin table. She eyed up the people sat around it before taking a seat near to Theodore.

"Hey Theodore!" she said, beaming at him and holding out her fist for a fist-bump. Because that was how he liked to greet people, right? She'd get a hug off him later.

"Summer could of been a lot better really." you know with her dad slowly dieing and stuff and cassidy dieing.. it was an emotional two months for sure.. though she didn't like cassidy too much seeing her mum and dad cry so much over it was just hard and she really didn't like it. "excited for quidditch..?" heh small talk right?


"YEAH, YOUR HEAD BOY!" she said excitedly again. another slytherin caring the head boy tittle.. oh boy this was just perfect. this would be their year ariana could feel it.. "why didn't you tell me you we're head boy at the station?" she asked.. surely he knew by then right?

Who was she.. and why did she seem sooo friendly and happy.. she didn't know them.. awkward.."uhm hi.? she said to the girl eyeing her and giving her an awkward wave.. weird people.. just because your sorted into slytherin doesnt mean you can be friends with just any one of us.



and Another new girl trying to be all friendly... 'Hi." she said looking up from her friends for a few moments.. she stared at the girl a bit waiting for her to leave.... but she didn't instead she put her hand out.... what was she to do with that!? she eyed the girl then her hand and the girl again.. crazy firsties


As ariana was busy eyeing the new girl here came hudson "Oh Hey Hudson." she turned to her and smiled "How was your summer." they hung out a few days but after that they didn't seem to talk at all.. Ariana wondered what the girl was up too. after their weekend of hanging out she kind of ... POOFED.. till now.. so what was she up too.. hmmm?



... Selina... well this term was intresting already.... and she had tray with her... of cookies.. what... Kurumi cookies.!? Ariana heard they were to DIE for but she had never had one her self... hmmmm... she eyed the tray.. maybe this was just a trick to poision us all so that the snakes would be out of quidditch indefinetly this term..

but then she saw it... Selina's QC badge was replaced with a HG badge...

... what... Oy this was just getting weirder and weirder..



"Hey!" she said waving to the younger & overprotective snak.. ariana thinks cassia should be a healer with her being so concerned over ariana headaches all the time... though ariana's head did hurt.. all the time.. which was odd she would admit that much.



Kinsleyyyyyyyyyyyyy "Hey Kinsley." geeze was everyone in the world getting taller other then herself.. ariana swore he was at LEAST three inches shorter last time she saw him "you seem taller yeah she knew she'd be raising his probably already enlarged ego but she didnt care really.

Well... this was an awkward moment. Melody raised her eyebrow at the girl. Didn't this girl know anything about manners? Apparently she didn't. Then again maybe this wasn't normal for kids her age. Melody reluctantly removed her hand. She took her seat making a mental note on this one. They would get along fine by not crossing each other.

"Oh, hello Cassia." Melody smiled came back. This was a much better way to start her first day evening at Hogwarts. She was glad her first impression and reputation wasn't already lost. Keep up the good work. Stay confident. She told herself. Boy making new friends was a lot of work.
"And thank you. I expect that Slytherin is the best house ever and I am glad to be part of the team."

The girl introduced herself, so she did the same "Nina" said with a smile "New here but going to be in fourth year" and yes that's why nobody recognized her. At least she knew one girl from Slytherin because everyone seemed to be getting along with each other.



And then more people started to come. Finally. She wasn't surprised not all of them were exactly the definition of friendly but this was Slytherin, right? At least they weren't all extremely cheerful and weird. Good. Just then a girl greeted everyone, she turned around and...another red head, just like the one she met at King Cross. "Hey" she said "I'm Nina" see? Trying to socialize because yeah...nobody wanted to be a loner. And she certainly wasn't.




Out of nowhere someone yelled at them. What was wrong with these people? And the girl seemed familiar, Nina didn't knew her name but they have met at the train station. And who was Kurumi? Probably a Hogwarts graduate. And why did she sent cookies? Weird. Nina didn't knew the girl nor cared for the cookies, so no she wasn't going to grab one. Even if she was starving.

Nina looked at the boy who just arrived it seemed only girls where here. Poor boy.
