Aurora had made her way up to the dorm sleepily and changed into her pyjamas, which were basically just Rich's clothes since Sebastian had managed to turn her favourite pjs into a comfortable cat-hair-riddled bed for him and Ivy. Sigh.

Speaking of Ivy, where was she? She wasn't curled up with Sebastian... and that worried her... because she was tiny, even for a young cat. She'd been the runt of the littler and was forever getting herself into trouble. And with West's nile monitor around Aurora needed to find Ivy quickly before she got eaten. She grabbed her wand and conjured a couple of ribbons before leaving the dorm. Hmmm...

She poked her head around the other girls dorms and asked people in there if they'd seen the cat... but there was no hope, until she came to the third year dorm. She was whistling slightly and calling Ivy's name as she bounced the ribbons... and she heard a meow that SOUNDED like Ivy... but she wasn't sure. So she went into the dorm... "Um, hey, has anyone seen my cat..?"

Peyton was brushing her hair and getting ready for bed--....

...--Okay, that would be a miracle. Actually, what the red head was really doing was getting comfy to read Quidditch magazines her daddy had packed her with. He knew her so well. So, when her red hair was rid of any knots she climbed into bed when...she hear a meow.

It sounded familiar. Like, she's heard it before and it didn't belong to any of her roommates' cats. Then she saw it.

OHMYFREAKINGMERLIN!

It was Freddie's cat Ivy. And she knew the kitten because she, herself, had helped with naming the kitten. Ooooh. Peyton managed to pick the kitty up and beamed at it as if it'd return the gesture. "What are you doing here? Did..." Noooo... Freddie couldn't be here, could he?

Just as Aurora peeked in, Peyton ran out into the hallway, pushing pass her. "Out of my way, Freddie is heeeere!" Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!

She KNEW Ivy was in here, she just got the feeling... but then...

"WHOA! Peyton waaaaait! You have Ivy?!" Whyyyyyyy was the younger redhead running off with Freddie's ki-

OH!

"No, no waaaaait, Peyton." Please? "Freddie isn't here! I'm just looking after Ivy for him..." Damn now she felt guilty that the girl had got her hopes up. "The other kittens were beating her up so he asked if I could take care of her..." Most of her little scratches had healed up but she still had a little patch of hair behind her ear that hadn't grown back properly.

HOLD UP!

Peyton slid on her socks into a stop and swirled around to Aurora. Whaaaaaaaat? Freddie wasn't there?! "But...but..." POOOUT. Peyton's shoulder's slumped as she cradled Ivy. "Why didn't you tell me that before?! I was sooo happy." And this was sooo mean. She had gotten her hopes up that her BEST friend was here and...and...

She was not wibbling...nope...she was used to disappointment...

*WIBBLE*

"Sorry..." Aurora felt bad now... Look how upset she was. But Ivy seemed to prefer Peyton's presence to her own. Pfft. "I wasn't expecting her to run off... but I guess she knew you were here."

Which was good, right? Because being loved by cats was the second best kind of love. Yep.

Peyton snuggled Ivy while trying to keep her bottom lip from quivering. No more getting her hopes up. For like, ever. "That's because she likes me," Peyton said, scratching the back of Ivy's ear.

Huh?

No fur there? Ewww. But she was still cute. So she snuggled her more. "Are you sure you didn't steal Ivy from him?" Yeah, she was going all detective on Aurora now because she knew how much Freddie loved his kittens. Come on, he wanted to bring them ALL to Hogwarts.

Aurora smiled a tiny bit, "I can see that." she said, as Ivy began to purr. "I get the feeling I won't be seeing her that often now that she'd found where you sleep..." Because she seemed very happy here.

"Though I'm not sure how Sebastian will react to that..." Since he'd apparently adopted Ivy. Giacomo didn't like the little kitten though... which was sad. "No, I didn't steal her. You can ask Freddie if you like. I'm sure he'd like to hear from you." 'Cause they were friends, right?

Aurora should probably get writing some letters actually...

That made Peyton smile a little. She liked cats, but she didn't have one. Well...she sort of did, but it wasn't here 'cause it was being stupid so it stayed home. "I hope so. I have no pets with me." UGH. The disgrace. Her gecko had died a year ago and Usagi the cat was just like her mother. Waaah. "Well, I have Luna. She's my owl, you know." She felt Aurora should know that, because Aurora was going to be her friend and friends should know those kind of details.

Ivy purring only made her small smile turn into a wider one. D'awww! Cute wittle kitty!

"Sebastian? Who's that?" She knew it wasn't any of Freddie's kittens. Was this a cousin or something? Oh, okay. So Aurora hadn't stole Ivy. "He would?!" she beamed, then composed herself. "I mean, of course he does. We're best friends forever." DUH!

No pets? Aww... that was sad. Everyone needed pets. "Well... you can have Ivy whilst you're here if you like... she keeps using my pygmy puff as a toy." After all, they couldn't be having Giacomo turned into a play thing could she? No. "What kind of owl is she?"

Sebastian..? "He's my cat, I've had him for... like... for years or something." she said with a grin, and he was the fluffiest lazy fluff ball fluffer in the world. Yep. Hehehe. "Oh, yes I heard about that." she said, Freddie had mentioned it... Hehe.

Entering the dorms, Zoe sat down on her bed and pulled out one of her parchments, figuring it was by time that she finally went and wrote to her big brother. He'd sent like three owls just the past week asking how it had been since she'd started at Hogwarts. And unless auntie had owled him or mum had told him he wouldn't even know which house she was in!

Sitting back on the bed with her pillow propped up behind her she started on her letter to Eric.

Sonea looked around her and was a little nervous because this would be the first time ever that she hasn’t slept in her own bed and in her own house. But she took a deep breath and stepped inside the girls dorm and did her best to hide her nervousness. She stepped further into the dorm but stopped. She had missed the first period of school and didn’t know which bed was hers.

She looked at the beds around her and stopped when she saw a girl. She sat alone on her bed with a parchment in her hand. Sonea was not sure in which mood the girl was but decided to try it anyway. She walked to the girl and stopped before her. “I’m sorry, but I’m new here. Can I ask you a question?” While Sonea waited for the girl’s answer she looked thoughtfully around her. The whole room was green, like the snake from Slytherin. Green was not a bad color, but she preferred pink or purple.

Minnie entered the girls dorms and sighed. She had managed to cross the common room without seeing her ex best friend and ex boyfriend. Why had she thought dating her best friend was a good idea. Now everything was a mess. They had been so happy to be in the same house, now this was torture.

Crossing the room, she almost ran to her bed and threw herself onto it. As she burried her face into her pillow the blonde started to sob. This was horrible. Maybe she wasnt made for relationships. Boys just kept on hurting her...

After arriving from the courtyard, Peyton stormed into the third year dorms and threw herself onto her bed. "Asdlflksdjfsdkj!" she groaned into her pillow, frustrated. Thor, her kneazle kitten, jumped on her back and she let out a huff. "Not now, Thor. My transfiguration skills suck, so unless you want to be a kitty umbrella, off." She shrugged the gray feline off of her. She didn't mean to be mean. She was just a tad frustrated, that's all.

A while after, she kicked her shoes off, took her wand and placed a new shoelace in front of her. She so wanted to get this done. Sitting Indian style, Peyton took a deep, deeeeeep breath and concentrated on how her umbrella would look. The sudden image of an angry red bird came to mind. Erm, that wasn't what she wanted. Nope. After imagining a lot of colors and pretty things, Peyton was able to relax.

Siiiiigh.

Another go? She had to if she wanted to earn house points. Reading her wand, she followed the movement in the air. "Protegamur Aqua!" Nothing. Peyton sighed. This probably had to do with the small fear of getting devoured by an umbrella. Not cool, man.

She threw herself backwards on her pillow. That's when she caught something resting on her bedside table.

Oh, snap! She was supposed to meet Seth. Sitting back up, Peyton looked for her shoes and headed out, taking her bag with her.

Sooner, Kat didn't feel so comfortable at the Study Tables because shoe got easily distracted by the cackling fire and the another Slytherins around her. Sometimes she just needed her own little and personal space. A space where she could be alone and make several life decisions, that is. The fifth year decided to go to the Girls dormitory instead so that she could concentrate. Well, there might still be other students there but at least it was lesser the number and all of them would be females. Not that she was shy around the opposite gender, you know. Actually she just wanted to be alone, that was all, and her dorm was the closest place.

When she arrived, Kat immediately flopped on her bed and didn't bother to recognise the other girls that probably were in the same room as she was. She just wanted to get homework done. She still had Runes waiting... but again, she had to repeat it to herself when she got too conscious of the time, there was still a few hours left maybe. Crossed legs, Kat continued to sketch out her umbrella design. She wanted one that would be as if it was RAINING, even while you were under the umbrella. Then that's when she came up with lightning for the design. After all, she did like to grumble when sad, angry, or depressed. That game against Hufflepuff was HORRIBLE. Once she was happy with her sketch, Kat smiled a bit and ran out of her dormitory. She could totally make her umbrella now. Heck yeah.

Sonea sat with her textbook from her spells class on her lap and flipped excitedly through the pages, searching for one particular page. She had read a spell in her textbook she wanted to try and was convinced that there would be no problems while trying, it sounded very simple. And yes, the spell was in a strange language, she thought that it was Latin but was not sure about it. But she thought that if she would speak the spell correctly, as was written in the book, that there would be no problems at all. And yes, Daichi had warned her that it could be dangerous for first years to use spells without help, but he only tried to scare her, right? Not all the first years were stupid and Sonea was one of them!

“Yes, I have found it!” Muttered Sonea excitedly and stood up. She fixed her clothes first, she wanted to be perfect when she had tried the spell and smiled. She would be so proud when her first spell alone would be perfect! She would prove to all the other students that she was not a simply, normal first year student who always needed help from her teacher or her other students. She REALLY didn’t like the thought that other people were thinking that she was still weak and dependent!

Sitting in her pink sweatpants and with her pink shirt she tried the spell. She spoke the spell and ticked with her wand on her face, trying to create a natural healthy glowing face. She ticked with her wand on her face and felt how the spell did his work. Happy and excited she ran to the mirror and looked at her face, wondering how it had worked, but… “NOOOO!” She screamed and hide her face behind her hands. “No! This can’t be true! No, not my face!!” she cried and looked panicking around her. She grabbed a pink towel and ran to the hospital wing, trying very hard to hide her now sparkling face.

Kat didn't really know what she really wanted to do with her tarot card. They were tasked to bond with it, but really Kat was just blank with options to do with it. She'd take it on a date somewhere in the castle or the grounds, but she didn't have anywhere in mind. Besides, she didn't want it dirty of anything. It was part of taking care of her tarot card, by keeping it squeaky clean and free from muck. Kat also considered it as training herself when she sees her few months old nephew when she gets home. What was his name again? Gale? Yeah, it seemed most likely to be Gale.

The Slytherin took her tarot card to her Dorm, not daring to leave it exposed at the Common Room with so many people. She wanted it to be safe as well, and she thought that taking it to her Dorm would be good. Besides, she decided to study for OWLs and stuff. Thinking to herself, Kat realised she couldn't give her 100% concentration to her studying if she was supposed to watch over a card as well. But her brilliant mind had thought of something. She was going to singing her little baby tarot card to sleep.

Kat placed her card on her pillow and then tucked it in using her comforter. There, nice and cosy. Then Kat slowly started to sing it a lullaby quietly so that only she and her tarot card could hear. "Twinkle, twinkle, little star. How I wonder what you are. Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky. Twinkle, twinkle, little star. How I wonder what you are..." Now her tarot card was probably asleep so Kat planted a kiss on it.

Goodness, what was she doing?

But whatever. She could finally hit the books and absorb all the information she needed for her OWL tests later on. What subject to start with? Hmm...

Peyton sat, her legs criss-crossed, in the center of her bed. She was staring at her tarot cards, the one she made on top of the deck. Merlin. It was sooo beautiful. She wondered why no one else has ever come up with a card like her's. That was the answer, though. No one was her, so, of course no one has created this card.

She wondered if this was enough bonding with the deck. Yesterday she had lunch with it and later that day she flown around with it, carefully tucked in a cute little bag she carried with her most of the times. And today she was going to do the last bit of bonding. A few days was enough, right? Hmm.

Peyton sprawled herself on the bed and snuggled with her unicorn stuffed pillow her brother had sent her, the cards resting beside her. She wasn't technically sleeping with her cards. She was going to nap. Totally different. Or so, she decided that.

It felt weird, though. Almost as if the figurines in the cards were watching her. Peyton turned around hugged the unicorn's face. There. Much better.
