Default Silent Auction - Table 13

Item up for bid: A mermish vase from the lost city of Atlantis donated by Everett Scabior.

Photos!: image

Description: This is a very vibrant, transparent blue mermish glass vase. It is incredibly heavy with extremely thick walls. In fact, the measurable thickness of the glass at the top is 3/4 of an inch, which should give you an idea of just how thick it actually is! It has retained its very vibrant blue shade even from years underwater. When sunlight hits the thick areas of the vase, the reflective surface makes some areas look very dark cobalt. It is approximately 6 1/2" in diameter across the widest portion of the bulbous bottom half and weighs 4.9 pounds. It is framed in brass and comes straight from the Mermish 'lost' city of Atlantis.

Retail Value: 200 Galleons

Opening Bid: 100 Galleons

Please Write Neatly.

Hmmmm..... an authentic Mermish vase. That would look great in my living room. Or maybe the kitchen.... And once again, when Roxanne approached the table, she saw that she was the only one to make a bid so far. Jeez, what was it with these people?! If this this were a Ministry auction, she was sure this would be one of the most popular items there. Apparently, these Hogwarts people didn't have as much class. Well, at least they had enough class not to bid on that stupid autographed photo. Who puts that in an auction, anyway?

Anyway, Roxanne picked up the pen and once again made the first bid.

An authentic mermish vase. Now that was a cool artifact. Raelynn had to at least bid...And you know win. Hmm..Only the second bidder. Not bad...But it was hard to believe that she and this Roxanne person were the only ones to bid...So far..
