Once Marie had a numbered paddle she made her way back over to the auction tables, right to the one with the seven day vacation for two to a Waldorf-Astoria hotel and resort. It wasn't that she really needed this vacation, it was just something she wanted to bid on since it was donated by one of her good friends. Plus it would make for a nice little get away for her and her husband.
Picking up the quill she noticed someone else had already placed a bid. Well now Ms. Rae-Branxton, let's see how much you're willing to bid on this little getaway, she thought as she filled in her information.

She was still a little steamed at Sky-Light (she refused to call the woman Sky, for obvious reasons) for driving the price up on the luck potion like she had. And smirking at HER as if saying 'ha ha, I'll get it and you won't'. So, when she saw that the woman had put her name down for one of the other vacations, an evil thought crossed Roxanne's mind. Of course, she had a bid on another vacation, so she didn't really need this one. But maybe she could give it to someone else? Yep. Okay, now Sky-Light was starting to wear on her nerves again. So much. Seriously, she was starting to wish that they had never instituted that stupid 'only raise by ten galleons' rule. It would be very fitting to run this thing up so that she couldn't afford it. Stupid hit witch. How was she getting all that money, anyway? She WAS only a hit witch. And there was no way that she made more than she herself did. Unless she was kind of funny in the head and didn't realize how much money all these galleons were truly worth? Okay now, these two fools that were bidding against one another were really starting to irritate Marie. They were both off heir granny's rockers if either of them thought they were going to win this bid. Once Marie Salazar-Gardner had her mind set on something she got it. No matter what the cost.
