Alyssa walked up to the door of the History of Magic classroom only to find the door close with a note sticking to it.

"Merlin!! it's going to be held in the Great Hall? I'm going to be late!!" Alyssa said to herself as she did a quick about turn and ran back down the stairs.

Dustin half-dragged himself to History of Magic. It wasn't his favorite class, to say the least. But he was still willing to go. At least the professor made it a little interesting.

When he arrived at the classroom, he couldn't help but roll his eyes at the sight of the sign. Ugh, of course

Sluggishly, he turned around and headed for the Great Hall.

History of magic. Cassia left the common room and headed to the classroom, it was cold and she couldn't wait til she got into the room. Passing the Dungeons then the stairs then the corridors. Cold! IT was cold. So yeah hopefully the room would be heted and she could snuggle in her seat.

Hold that thought. Why was the door closed. Cassia tried turning the handle but it surely was locked. Oh look a note. She stared at the note and sighed. She had yet to got the Great Hall. Would've actually been easier if they've been told to go there in the first place.

Turning around she let out another sigh and started walking to go to the great hall.

Laura walked all the way to the History of Magic classroom, she was looking forwards to this lesson, she loved History of Magic, she walked towards the door and then she sighed, she was going to be late, could she just skip lesson now instead of going to the History of Magic lesson in the Great Hall.

As he made his way towards the History of Magic class, Daichi was silently hoping that this lesson was not going to be with the board of government people again. No offense but...to the Prefect it was boooooring and he hadn't really paid attention to it.

He was about to enter the room when a note on the door caught his attention. Class will be in the Great Hall?! He checked his watch and gasped. If that was true he only had a few minutes! Turning around, the Slytherin sprinted down the hall back where he just came from.

Kat wasn't really looking forward to the next History of Magic classes anymore. They were all about politics and those governors stuff. She had to admit, she wasn't a fan of those things. She even found them BORING. Was it possibly that she didn't have to vote? If she was forced to though, she'd only have on candidate in mind.

It was obvious who anyway.

Kat made her way to the classroom to see it closed, locked, and with a note sticking on the door. Huh. The class was gonna be in the great hall. Oh brilliant, more walking. She wished she had a broom though. It'd be easier to get there. Sighing, the Slytherin turned her heel and made her way to the great hall.

And the watch says... she still has time.

Another history of magic class, Gary wasn't a fan of history actually. The Head Boy walked to the classroom and noticed that the door was closed. Huh, was he late? But then he noticed that Professor Scabior wrote a small note at the door.

Today's History of Magic Class will be held in the great hall. There is no excuse for being late.

Meh, quickly he turned around and run to the Great Hall.

Walk. Walk. Walk.

Oh Merlin. The Great Hall? She needed to get to the Great Hall now? Ella frowned and immediately turned around and hurried off towards the Great Hall, not wanting to be late.

Sarah was not running late yet so she strolled along casually towards the classroom. Yet then she looked at the door to the classroom as it came into view and started. The door was closed.. did that meant that she was late and class had started? She looked down at her watch... if the time was right on her watch she was right on schedule.

Before she could jump to further conclusions she noticed a note that was stuck on,. She rushed forward to read it. Oh dear, the class had moved, if she would run she would be there just in time

History of Magic.. groan. By far, not one of his favorite classes and he sincerely hoped that his aunt wasn't helping to teach the class again. Not only had it been boring but it also somewhat embarrassing to have her there. It left him quiet and sitting in the back corner.. not that he ever had much to offer in this class as it was. Could he dare to hope that today would be any better?

As he approached the classroom, Ethan noticed that the door was closed. Oh no! Was he late? He didn't really want everyone's eyes on him as he walked in and was reprimanded.. oh, a note. Green eyes skimmed the words and he let out a small sigh as he turned and headed towards the Great Hall. At least it was only one floor away.. he still had time.

Please no superheroes. PLEASE no superheroes...Alex had his fingers crossed as he walked into the classroom. Only the professor was nowhere to be found, so...where was he?

Oh great they weren't even MEETING here? Would it have killed Scabior to post that on the notice boards? Sigh.

Grabbing his things he turned on his heel and headed down to the great hall.

YAWWWWWWWN.

She was so tired on account of not sleeping. Why did classes always need to be held before noon? It was not like they were going to get some kind of higher purpose by having a class post-lunch and not before. Class was class no matter what time- so professors needed to make a motion to make classes later in the day and with more snack options. One could always do with more snack options.

Once she finally got there though, it was as if her prayers had been answered. The Great Hall? That HAD to mean that they were having snacks... oh score.

With a little spring in her step, she walked down to the Great Hall.

Eliza was just rounding the corner to head down the hall towards the History of Magic room when she noticed an awful lot of her classmates coming towards her. Shouldn't they be going in? Is something wrong? She hurried through them towards the door, just to make sure she hadn't missed something. Scabior hasn't died too has he? she worried. She'd probably never be over people dying in the castle, especially people she'd talked to.

Once she reached the door, she read the note and felt a rush of relief. Oh thank goodness. But then it dawned on her that she needed to go clear across the castle, and fast. Argh! Dangit Scabior, a notice would've been nice! Glad you're not dead though, she thought as she turned to rush down to the Great Hall for the lesson.

History of Magic. Nessie was so ready for this lesson. Even though she wasn't entirely fond of Scabior, ever since a certain incident, she enjoyed the way he taught the subject. When it came to history you needed someone who knew how to teach well otherwise it was likely you were going to struggle.

Looking neat and tidy in her uniform the red head made her way towards the History classroom. She stopped once she had almost reached the door and noticed various students walking back from the classroom's direction. She became confused and walked a little faster towards the door, where she stopped and read the note that was left stuck on the door.

Great hall. Alrighty. She pouted and turned around wondering why the Professor had not told them rather on the notice announcement. Heh maybe he had a surprise or something special awaiting them?

Jory was taking his time to get to class. He was sure he was going to be early anyway. But upon arrival there, he found the door shut. "What...?'' he muttered. Could the class have started? He moved closer to the door and that was when he noticed the note. Quickly he read it.

"The Great Hall!'' Uh oh. Now there was a chance he was going to be late. he turned and hurried off towards the Hall.

Belle was walking to class, she was very deep in her thoughts and then she noticed a note on the door. Belle gave the note a quizzical look. "Hmmm...what do we have here?" Belle asked looking closer.

Oh the class has been moved the great hall? Hmm Belle could take that. She smiled and made her way down to the hall. She was excited about what they were going to learn. There was no excuses being late, so Belle did a power walk to make sure she was in class on time.

THIS class. If she never saw THIS class again it would be too soon. The last lesson left her wondering just how many brain cells she'd be left with by the end of the year. This was class was boring, she got that, it was History so she didn't expect much better but see, when you added politics that meant more reading and paying attention to more current stuff....no thank you.

She walked into the room...

History of Magic was scheduled for this hour...she was sure of it. It's the only reason she left her Common room so then....where was everyone including the Professor...?

It took her another minute to notice the note on the board.

Oh.

So more walking then? Greeeeeat. She read the note once more to be sure then headed back through the door.

No excuse? None? What if he broke his leg on the way down the stairs? What if he was kidnapped by a pirate, raised for years in pirate society, and the reintroduced to Hogwarts as the Pirate King? That would make him late.

What if there were ninjas?

Mo sighed as he shouldered his bag and headed back toward the stairs. He really really really hoped there were ninjas.

Oichi was walking to History of Magic when she suddenly saw a sign saying head to the Great Hall for History of Magic and that there was no excuse for being late. Ha, that's a laugh, don't be late, with instructions this last minute I would be surprised if anyone arrived on time but I'm certainly gonna try. And the Great Hall. Why on Earth there, doesn't matter, I just gotta hurry up and get there. Oichi turned and headed downstairs for her History of magic walking as quickly as one could without running.

HIstory of Magic... Bleh. History of anything is was not fun, and Magic didn't make it any better. History was history and it was all old.

He wasn't paying any attention to where he was going, he was just moving along. His lack of attention lead him to running right into the closed door. "great hall?" he mumbled. Great...

The Great Hall? That was where they were having class? That meant food. Alice was sure of it. And snacks helped with everything, including classes that made her want to slam her head against a wall repeatedly. History of Magic was one of those, you know. Looooong. Long and boring and not captivating, on account of it was HISTORY. And it was old. She didn't care for long, boring, not captivating, old things. Who did?

But food. Food was something different altogether. And she would most definitely be pleased if there was food, thanks. So Alice made her way down to the Great hall FAST, because there would be food there, and Scabior would maybe give them some.

Sierra didn't even need to try the door. She could see the others turning around on the spot and walking off. Could it be--class was canceled?! OH, HAPPY DAY! Sierra overheard some Puffer mumbling about the Great Hall then, and so she cast a quick glance in the direction of the door. A sign. Not just that, but it was a sign directing them to the Great Hall for class.

So no such luck. Sierra, too, turned on her heels and walked off, heading in the direction of the Great Hall.

Nigel walked to history of magic room and noticed it was closed. Hmm. That is a little weird. But there is a note on the door. Nigel leans forward and reads the message. Well it seems a little threatening. But Nigel could not think about it. He had to walk fast to the great hall. Where apparently this lesson was being held.

Reaching the door and reading the professor's sign, Sky had a moment of 'you've got to kidding me'. Because, seriously, would it have killed Professor Scabior to add that little note to the class announcement? Or did he just like sending them on wild goose chases?

She sighed, then turned around and headed to the Great Hall.
