Alyssa entered the great hall breathlessly after her run from the History of Magic classroom. She was expecting class to have started but there was nobody there. She walked further in and noticed that the door next to the staff table was open. It was usually shut.

Alyssa looked around the hall before slowly approaching the door and peaking inside. That's when she saw Professor Scabior standing inside at one end of the room. So she wasn't in the wrong place. She breathed a sigh of relief and entered the class, walking up to the Professor and greeted him.

"Hello Professor. I'm glad I found you. I thought that I was going to be late." Alyssa smiled at him before finding the nearest desk and settling herself in it. As she waited for the rest of the students to arrive, Alyssa pulled out her History of Magic textbook and started to read.

Dustin was even MORE confused by the scene when he arrived at the Great Hall. It was eerily quiet, and he couldn't see the professor, even though he had been sent there by a sign (which he was starting to think was the handiwork of a prankster like Peeves).

He was about to turn around and head back to the dormitory when he noticed the door was ajar. AJAR. That was odd. Naturally, he decided to inspect it (remember how Dustin wouldn't survive a horror movie?)

He couldn't quite discern what was going on, but he noticed the professor and decided to head further inside and sit on the floor in the room. Standing was for squares. Also his legs were tired.

Laura cam running into the Great Hall. "Sorry I'm late Professor." Laura said in-between catching her breath, she had run as fast as she could. "I didn't realize that the lesson was in the Great Hall Professor." Laura sighed as she stood there and then she realized a door that was normally shut was open, that was strange.

Continueing running from the history of magic classroom floor, Daichi skipped to a halt when he was finally in front of the Great Hall. Taking a few deep breaths, he pushed the doors open and walked inside.

Apart from the other students already being inside the room, Daichi could not find the Professor. He walked closer to the front and it was then that he saw a few students entering a side room. Knowing it was the staff room, the Prefect raised his eyebrow as he followed them.

"Oh! Hello Professor Scabior" he greeted the moment he saw the man standing at one end of the room and he entered as well.

Should he sit or stand? hmmm

Though Kat feared being late for class, she didn't even budge to run to the great hall. She didn't like going to class all sweaty and she could brisk-walk perfectly fine, thank you. Her watch was ticking but she still had about enough time to reach this room before the class even started. But if she did get late, she decided to blame it on that note on the door. Scabior should've posted it on the bulletins in each common room, if he didn't like students to be late to his class. Well if this lesson was gonna be about the Board of Governors again, she'd be okay with being late.

The Slytherin peeked in the room before entering. Well of course this was the right room, duh. Where else was the great hall anyway? "Hello Professor," Kat greeted and managed a small smile. Meh. So... what was behind that used-to-be shut door? Kat was excited now. But well... if a board of governor candidate besides Professor Schirmer came from there, Kat would've considered leaving the room immediately. Nope sorry. She has had enough politics for the entire term.

Ella was a bit confused as she walked through the Great Hall. Were they playing hide and seek with Scabior or something? If so, Ella was kind of wanting to let him win as Alec was the seeker in her relationship, not her. Anywhoo, the blonde finally spotted the open door and stepped inside, hoping she was in the right place.

"Hello, Professor." She said quietly, giving the man a small smile. And the whole sitting standing debate, yeah she was sort of confused as to what she was supposed to do.

After reading the small note at History of Magic classroom, Gary quickly ran from to the great hall. He did believe that sometimes running is better than walking. And he was right, at least he wasn't late now. And he was wondering if there's any guest that would teach them again today after Scabior invited his son and the Ministry employee gave them lecturer. So, what would happen today?

"Good day, Professor." he said as he noticed that the Professor was already standing at one end of the room. If they would talk about politic again today, he would keep silent and pretended not to hear. Meh, it's boring.

Sarah rushed into the great hall and stopped short in her tracks. No one was there. Yet wait a door was open... Sarah raced into the room and called to the professor "Good day Professor" she said feeling for her shoulder strap. Her satchel was getting heavy, she ought to go through it some time... in the next 3 years.

Had Sarah found a companion in her anti time wasting strategies. No.. it was just Scabior being moody. Sarah had been up late the night before forming a hypothesis on birthdays after all both Theo and Scabior share a birthday and both of them are grumpy.

Time for snacks, time for snacks. That was why they were going down to the Great Hall, yes? It was the only thing that made sense so OBVIOUSLY it was what she was going to go with. And Scabior was kind of awesome for letting them have snack time during his class-

Wait, where was he? She looked around the Great Hall and saw that no one was there. Literally. So then what in Merlin's name was she doing here? Was this kind of practical joke because she took food very seriously and this was NOT funny.

That was when she saw the door open. Oh no! They were going to have class in there weren't they? Aw come on! NO SNACKS?! Bugger. That was so not cool. Meh.

Loosing the spring in her step, she trudged into the classroom and nodded at Professor Scabior, "Morning Professor." Please say you have snacks.

As Eliza entered the Great Hall she noticed it was...empty. If there is another note in here telling us to go to ANOTHER location, I swear... She walked deeper into the giant room and heard some scuffling towards the back corner. Maybe they're back there? she thought as she neared the staff's table. Voices of students echoed out into the room from an ajar doorway to her left. Isn't that normally shut? Strange place to have class, ey? She peeked her head inside and saw Scabior standing there all ho-hum as if nothing about this were odd. She gave a mental shrug, figuring he must have his reasons, poorly communicated as they may have been.

She entered the room fully and crossed towards the other students, giving her normal "Hi Professor Scabior," as she went by. Please no more politics. No more guest speakers. I like the way YOU teach, Scabior. Well, mostly. She stood around and hoped she'd figure out what they were doing soon. Will he be talking about the trophy room? He's seems to be the only adult around here willing to give any straight answers on these types of things.

The great hall then.

Having made her way half way to the usual history of magic classroom, the Hufflepuff was stopped only to be told by one of the earlier students that the lesson of the day would be held in the great hall. She turned her tracks around and just like the others entered the great hall.

Odd.

The great hall looked just like it had this morning...except..was someone walking inside that room behind the staff table?

Aha! There was someone! Taking that as a clue Renesmee made her way across the hall and peeked inside the open door before, behind the staff table, before walking in.

"Morning, Professor" she said glad that she was after all in the right place.

Jory hurried down to the Great Hall. He wondered if he would be late. but when he go there, he could see no one. "Wait...'' he muttered. The door behind the Staff table that was usually closed was open. The Puffer went over for a closer look. Peaking in, he saw Professor Scabior and a few other students.

"Hello, Professor,'' he said, relieved he had found everyone.

As Belle made it to the great hall, she realized she made it just on time. She saw her fellow students in the hall all eager to learn. Belle did not see the teacher till she looked to the front of the room.

"Good morning Professor. How are you doing today?" Belle was relieved she was not late. Belle then heard her stomach rumble. She should have eaten before she came. Ah well...hopefully the lesson will be exciting.

Lex trudged down the stairs and made her way to the Great Hall. This was where the lesson was supposed to be...only...there WAS NO ONE THERE EITHER.

This was getting really old really quickly. First the Classroom and now here? She drew the line at having to see another note leading her onto the grounds. That was pretty much just no--Waaaaaait.

That door. The one over there...how long had it been there...?

Probably forever, not that she'd know. But that wasn't the important thing about the door. She could see the Professor...or well...she heard him coming from that room. Not wanting to waste any more time she hurried in and found everyone else. Did everyone know about this except her?

Not. Cool.

Oichi was surprised when she learned History of Magic would be held near the Great Hall. She had a few classes outside including one that she would rather not recall but the only one near the Great Hall was an elective class, not a real one. This is nus, are we leaning about the history of food or is it the Great Hall, either way, boring more then likely. But I attended all the other lessons and this my owl year, I just gotta keep my big yapper shut With those thoughts Oichi took a deep cleansing breath entered the area just outside the Great Hall for History of magic. She walked into the side area now classroom and saw professor Scabior, "Good day professor Scabior, the great Hall is a bit of a strange place to Hold a History of Magic lesson. Is there a particular reason for it?", and with that Oichi took her seat. She wondered if perhaps she should have bit back her tongue but after thinging about it she was glad she said things the way she did.

Mo made it through the door with time to spare, although he was all tired and panting from the hurry as he flung himself through the door. No ninja attacks, although that was actually sort of a disappointment. No pirates either.

"Professor. Hey. Hey, sir professor sir." Flop. How come there were already all these people here like he was late, when he'd hurried and everything? Did they know secret passages or something?

THERE WAS NO ONE THERE. That meant.. what did it mean? Probably that some nasty child had stuck a note on Scabior's door, tricking everyone else into thinking class was in the Great Hall. Maybe History of Magic was already in session and Alice would be late and lose housepoints.. and.. and.. oh. There was a door next to the staff table, and it was open. She had totally seen that. She had. Was Scabior in there? The fourteen year old rushed inside in time to see.. everyone. "Hullo, Professor Scabior." So. Where was the food?

That WAS why class was being held down there, right?

He could have at least put it on the common room bulletin board. LAZINESS.

Even still, Sierra hurried into the Great Hall, and seeing a group of students filing through a door, she followed them. Oh, well there he is. Mr. Laziness himself! "Hello, Professor," she said, looking around the room.

Nigel walked in hoping he was on time. His message about not to be late seemed a little threatening. But it seemed that he was on time. "Hello, Professor". Nigel then turned and walked over to where the rest of the class was. Wondering what they could be doing in the great hall for class today.

And it turned out that the answer to her last question was yes. Yes, Professor Scabior liked sending them on wild goose chases. Because if Sky hadn't noticed that the door to this room as ajar and decided to peek in, she would be missing this class right now. Which, judging by the quality of the lessons this term, she wouldn't have missed much. Unless he was saving the best for last......? Please?

Anyway, Sky entered, greeted the professor with a "Hello," and took a seat somewhere near the middle of the room.

So anyways West had decided to stop in at the Great Hall for food before going up to class. And then he had seen the professor. And everyone. And basically? His stomach had saved him a trip. He polished off the remains of a filled roll as he moseyed over to where everyone was gathered.

He wasn't late or anything right? And class hadn't started. And also, he was still technically in the Great Hall he wasn't breaking any rules by eating. Just saying.

Giving a nod to everyone who greeted him, Scabior gazed out the door. Well, it seemed as though that was everyone. With the flick of his wand the door slammed shut.

Some students were standing, and others seemed to have no problem sitting. He really could care less. "Hello to you all-now who knows what room we are in?"

Just like that it was time to start the lesson. Scabior wasted no time.

Alyssa thought for awhile. She remembered someone telling her about a room that was off to the side of the staff table. But was it this room? Raising her hand, Alyssa attempted an answer."Professor is this the room where the 4 Triwizard Tournament Champions were brought into after the Goblet of Fire had selected them to represent their schools."

Well it was worth a guess.
