High Street is the main street of Hogsmeade, from which you can access all its most famous shops. There's a path that leads from the winged boar flecked front gates of Hogwarts all the way up to High Street. It's probably how you got here today!
From the main street of Hogsmeade, you can ,eet up with your friends before heading over to the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer, browse the windows of the shops as you pass by, interact with students from other houses, and just have fun on your weekend out. Enjoy!
Jeremiah kind of stood in the middle of the road and just started at it all for a moment before all the students started to pile into the street. He knew that Hogwarts would be there today cause his bestest friend went to Hogwarts and he was going to meet her here today and they were going to be AWESOME! and buy chocolate.. and LOTS OF IT and it was just going to be cool okay. Jeremiah zipped up his jacket and looked into the window of a shop as he waited for Alexa.

Violet felt like she had never run so fast in her entire life! Ever since she heard news that Hogsmeade was open, she was dressed and out of the castle without thought of a hesitation! She could NOT wait! Not wait to go shopping of course, see friends from school...and then there was of course..SEEING HER BOYFRIEND! The magnificently wonderful Phillip Caine, who she had been missing more than words could describe! It had been a couple of months now since the seventh year had seen her charming beau! And come to think of it, it had been a couple of months now that they have been together, months of magic. The thought brought a light shade of pink upon her cheeks. OH she couldn't wait to wrap her arms around him!
Speaking of which, where was he? Violet's violet eyes scanned around main street of Hogsmeade for any sign of him. She adjusted her hat slightly and then wrapped her arms around herself a little bit when a sudden cool breeze brushed past her. As she waited for him, she figured now was probably the best time to start thinking of something she could possibly buy Phillip for Christmas. Of course, she did have time to do that, she just figured she'd better start thinking of something now, since she had a free moment. Violet then bit her lower lip as she began to ponder of some ideas.
'Hmm..Well what if he doesn't want that? ...What if he has that already? ..What if I get him a shirt? ..What if I buy him the wrong size? ...What if he hates it? She then stopped herself and shook her mind of these frantic thoughts. Violet had to take a moment to breathe. Too much thinking. Lets just make a list when you go back to the dorm..' Violet then nodded with herself in agreement.
Oh Mister Phillip...mon amour..Where are you?

Phillip was excited. No, beyond excited. Though obviously, he wouldn't be showing it. Needed to stay cool; though that shouldn't be too hard, it was in his nature after all. Cool, collected and charming, Phil's three C's. That's right. Right now, he all three down, but when he'd finally reach Violet...it would be a totally different story.
VIOLET.
His thoughts automatically strayed back to her, not that they'd ever been away from her. His girlfriend, his world, was all that he thought about now and you may think that that's pretty sad, but it isn't. He LOVED her. Was that not reason enough? He hoped it was. Oh, he was almost there, he noticed, turning a corner and coming to a halt at the end of the high street? Did he look presentable? Did he even care?
His need to see Violet, to be able to hold her became too much and he turned the final corner and Violet came into sight. Phil stopped in his tracks. A million thoughts clouded his brain. Most of them being similar to, Merlin, she's beautiful and I'm so, so, so lucky. A grin spread and across his face, as he simply stared at her in awe. Then he couldn't contain himself ...
"Violet, ma chérie!"
He ran up to her and wrapped his arms around his girlfriend, burying his face in her hair.
He was SO happy right now.

It was Vesper's first time ever in Hogsmeade...and so far, it wasn't going so well. Apparently her nerves were getting the best of her...as she had already ran into two people AND almost tripped into a bin of ingredients outside of some shop. Needless to say, her confidence had taken some massive blows...Not that she had that much to begin with.
In her hands, a suspicious notebook was clutched, as well as a quill. Interacting with people had always been weird for the Beauxbaton student...but that wouldn't stop her from writing. As far as Ves was concerned, today had the opportunity of being a great day of understanding. Ves had only talked to these people via owls and such...How they behave in person was probably going to be something else entirely...
...and YES, she WOULD be avoiding Jake Keller...because that could have only been made more awkward by a face to face meeting. Yep.
So, here she was...Standing in front of this Broomstick place and waiting for her fellow French-student, Astrid...Vesper hoped she had a map or something...because if not, today was not going to end well.

Hogsmeade, so far, was a huge place. One could easily get lost in here especially if you're new and alone. But it was a nice and pretty place too because the shops were okay. Except for that one where it smelt like goat. That one was gross. Astrid's experience would hopefully be worthwhile. Her dad HAD to excuse her from Beauxbatons just to let his princess be here to see her friends. She's made lots of them throughout the summer and the days that passed by. Plus the students in here weren't so bad. They were friendly... Some of them.
The brunette made her way to the Three Broomsticks place her friend Vesper had been waiting at. Even Vesper was lost, but no fear. Astrid was able to ask help from that Post Office not to far and they were kind enough to give her a map of the town. See? Even friendly people in the nearby neighborhood. Her father should stop worrying about her, and just learn to trust her. Okay, maybe it was hard to trust a mischievious thirteen year old.
Squints everywhere. There were so many people in the high street that it made it hard for Astrid to spot Vesper. Plus, the tall people were blocking her sight. How dare they. It took a lot of balance from falling and patience to finally see Vesper. She was just there with that notebook she ALWAYS had, and seem to never let go actually. Well, at least she found her now. No more worries of losing friends. "Hey," she said while approaching her fellow Beauxbatons student. A small smile was on her face. "I hope you didn't wait for too long. I almost got lost in the sea of people." STAMPEDE! Just kidding.

Vesper blinked, remembering stuff. She totally knew about Ravenclaw girls...Was growling another trait of theirs? Hmm, she'd need start paying attention to that. "Erm....Where did you want to go first?..." She was looking at the map. "I need to see about sweets."

Upsetting people? Astrid frowned. "I don't think you did anything wrong so you shouldn't really fuss," she said. If it wasn't your fault, why blame yourself? You, yourself, KNOW it has nothing to do with you. Defending yourself seemed way better than enduring it all. Anyway... "At least we both aren't lost now." They had a map and all.
Where do they go? It already seemed like Vesper had the answer. "Mmm, the sweet shop's not too far from here if you want sweets," she said. She had walked pass that shop going here anyway. She WAS taking note of names and reading signs cos signs are supposed to be helpful. "Anyway, I was going to get Clio some gummy wands. Are you going to get gummy wands too?" Astrid liked them, so she was totally buying some for HERSELF.

Merlin was it just her or was Jeremiah lost? Like legit, where was the dude? She felt like she'd been walking for ages through the streets of Hogsmeade but no matter where she looked she couldn't spot him--THEEEEEEEEEERE he was!
"HAI!" She said, popping up right behind him and giving him a poke in the side. "I was wondering if you might have gotten the weekends mixed up or something." She also thought he might have bailed on her but that was just ridiculous and she knew for a fact that he wouldn't do that. Nope. He wouldn't because that's not something friends did to each other and as it stood she seemed to be his only one. "Have you figured out what we'll do first or will we be walking around first?" Even if he decided that they wouldn't be hitting the candy shop first she'd still be good because she had her blue bag of candy slung over her shoulder to pass the time.

Addy pulled her coat tighter around herself and nearly spun in a full circle as she peered around in search of Spike. She had his gift tucked away inside her pocket, she couldn't really wrap it... but anyway. It was there safe and sound and she was super excited to give it to him. HEHEHE.
And while they were here she could treat him to a butterbeer. Heh. Unless he was that against her footing the bill. Because she couldn't really afford much else than butterbeer at the moment.
Spike had been looking forward to today very much. Not only was it Hogsmeade weekend, and a chance to top up his candy supplies (already way too low), but he was also meeting up with Addy to do FUN things. His allowance jingled in his pocket ready to be spent, and there was an excited skip to his gait.
A grin spread across his face as he saw her waiting for him, and the butterflies he had when she asked him to accompany her returned as he stepped closer. He paused, waiting until she turned away, before taking the last few strides. Nothing like the element of surprise, right?
"I'm not late, am I?" he asked, appearing behind her.

Bliss didn't know that it was physically possible to be this excited, but she was. She was finally FREE from Hogwarts, for a while at least and she was roaming Hogsmeade with West. Though, when she said roaming, she meant slowly-plodding-through, as they seemed to be at some sort of stand still. Not that she really minded, being with West anywhere was good enough for her.
She looked over at West and beamed.

Violet was beginning to become a little troubled. What if had forgotten about their plans? What if he had fallen ill? What if he had fallen?! What if he was sort of trouble and couldn't get to her?! As each thought began entering her mind, the more frantic she was becoming! Anymore thoughts like this and Violet would find herself hysterically crying on the main street, which she knew would be a reeeally embarrassing moment for her to experience..well aside from her hysterical fangirling moment meeting THEE Ellsworth Touissant not too long ago! OH SHE WAS SO AMAZING!
Miss Ellsworth Touissant had suddenly been rushed out of her mind when she heard her name mentioned. Not followed by the sound of a sweet phrase she often heard from a peculiar someone that was VERY fond of. Her eyes darted to see-YES! OH MERLIN there he was! Violet felt her heart leap as she watched him running towards her. The biggest grin was instantly brought to her face when he had reached her and wrapped his arms around her. Aside the fact that Phillip had almost made Violet fall over a little, she had not minded it at all! In fact, she had only one feeling when his arms were wrapped around her at that moment:

Not long after that, Violet smiled warmly noticing that Phillip had buried his face in her. It also made her giggle a little bit. It was rather clear that he must have been thinking about her, as much as she did him. She took a moment to softly place her lips upon his cheek briefly. MEEP! Addy let out a slight squeak as she turned, a grin wide on her face. Without really thinking she kind of... attacked Spike with a hug.

"S-Sorry... and no you're not late," she stammered as she stepped back a couple of paces. She was aware of how badly he felt about entering her personal space and that made her unsure about how HE felt about such things. Right... change the subject. Distract. SOMETHING.
Reaching into her pocket she giggled slightly. "You ready for your gift? It took me some time. Not only to MAKE it but to place a few charms and whatnot on it. It's kind of bigger on the inside." HEHE.

There were so many places to go in Hogsmeade and Bliss had been so excited about visiting them all, but right now she couldn't focus on anything but West's hand in her own and his presence beside her. She wasn't used to being this...distracted by a person. West was a nice distraction though.
Where did she want to do? "We could...walk from a little while and then go and get a drink?" Because walking AND drinks were nice, yes. She quite liked walking, but she liked hot butterbeer too. Decisions, decisions. "What would you like to do?" She asked West, squeezing his hand gently.

So long he had been waiting to hold her in his arms again - too long in fact. "I'm happy I'm here too, I'm happy you're here...I'm happy," Phillip mumbled to Violet. He had one arm firmly around her waist and the other one he had lifted and was now stroking her hair. A few months he had had to wait to do that. He hadn't realised just how much he'd missed her.
He leaned back and just looked at her. Her face, her hair, everything about her was beautiful. Though, it wasn't just because she was part Veela. Violet had an inner beauty too, it showed in her eyes and made everyone around her happy. It was just one of the many things that Phillip loved about her. Gently, Phil cherished her cheek and leaned forward to place a kiss on his girlfriend's lips. "So, love, what would you like to do today?" Walk? Eat? Shop? So here he was back in Hogsmeade after what four years? Tyler buried his hands in his jacket pocket and strolled down the Hogsmeade street. He wasn't actually awfully cold like the others seemed to be, he just felt...cool. Hopefully this weekend trip here would be worth it though. It had better be, he'd begged his mum to write to the Dean and here he was.
He paused and looked behind him but no Felix yet. What the heck was taking him so long? You'd think he was flying here instead of apparating. With no sign of Felix, he continued on into the village.

"I'm looking forward to spending time with just my sister and my dad." he agreed, lighting up a bit at the prospect. "I mean I'll miss you of course." Paaaause, "And all my friends and my team and stuff," obviously, "But I haven't seen much of Aspen since school started, she's busy doing NEWT study stuff, and I miss my dad."

Elodie didn't even care about what she looked like right now.
Her hair looked like it had been done by a six year old, and the two piggytails on her head were lopsided and definitely wrong. No one could see, but she was actually wearing odd socks too. Who really cared about matching here?! REALLY? No one was going to see her feet! Unless it was Gemini and he was sitting on her feet.
Speaking of the Hufflepuff's toad, Gem was chilling in her hand, probably freezing. Els still had no idea how to transport her toad around, actually. No idea. He either sat in her coat pocket and she expected him to peer out, or she carried him everywhere.
After getting a little closer to Hogsmeade, Elodie broke into a run past a few other students, and then stoooopppped. She had said she'd meet Kurumi around here, right? >___<

When he leaned back and was just seeming to be looking at her, it did make Violet a little nervous. Was there something on her face and she hadn't even realized it? Or was there some sort of food stuck in her teeth? OH NO! How desperately she wanted to reach into her pocket and pull out her little heart-shaped pocket mirror to check her face! Before she could ask him if there was something on her, he had suddenly caressed her cheek, and just his touch again made Violet feel all warm inside. And it was when his lips were placed upon hers, was when she had felt like she was going to melt into his arms. It was just one of the multiple things about him that made Violet feel all weak in the knees!
It took her a moment to come back to reality after his lips had parted with hers. And there was a sort shade of pink beginning to form across her cheeks. Violet cleared her throat a little bit and then said,"Hmm..Have you eaten yet? Maybe we could stop by the Three Broomsticks, get you a nice cup of Hot Cocoa?" she giggled and playfully poked his nose. "OR! Maybe Madame Pudifoots?!!" She then calmed herself down and said as if she didn't just freak out at mentioning the tea shop,"Whatever you'd like to do, mon amour.."

Clutching a small bag in her free hand, Kurumi made her way through the streets of Hogsmeade looking for a very special little Hufflepuff. It was hard to believe that it had already been two...wait...three?...year since she had first met Elodie at Kings Cross station and the then second year had thought she had lost her luggage. It was funny the sort of situations Kurumi found herself in when she met people for the first time.
Kicking some snow off her boots, Kurumi paused in the middle of the street and spun around on spot while looking for Elodie. One thing she had forgotten about Hogsmeade weekends was just HOW busy the streets got. Things were even worse now with this debate going on...which only reminded her that her father was also here.
Yeah...she would be avoiding him if at all possible. Even if he was acting as Carter's campaign manager, the man still had an incredible knack for embarrassing her.
"Elodie!" Kurumi called when she finally spotted the Hufflepuff! She had missed this girl. Oh! Gemini was with her too!

Honeydukes was great and everything but what she needed was butterbeer. So after stacking up on her sweets, and saying goodbye to Terry, Blue was out on the main street. It felt a little weird knowing that she was meeting up with someone she had technically met yet. Her parents didn't need to know, right? The third year made her way through the busy street, keeping an eye out for Tyler. Was that--? Might as well check anyway. Fixing on a smile that hopefully wasn't all Chesire cat-y, Blue tapped him on the shoulder.
If it wasn't him that'd be even more awkward.

Excuse me, people, mind yourselves, Elodie Rae coming through.
It was safe to say that the younger girl had flung herself at Kurumi to hug her.
