Slytherin vs. Ravenclaw
The building used for the Gobstones matches had had it's doors opened to the brisk, early autumn air and it's surfaces magically dusted by Professor Elwood and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's second match.
The green and blue marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Slytherin and Ravenclaw Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping. Read the Gobstones Rule Book before playing and if you did last term, please check again because it's been updated. The thread is moderated so your answer won't show up until the sponsors allow it. When Leobald headed down from the castle to set up for the second Gobstones match of the term the sun rose over the tree tops to greet him in the brisk morning air as he walked. By the time he had unlocked and entered the Gobstones building the school grounds looked pretty in a morning glow. With his wand in hand he took a tour of the court and stands to see that everything looked up to par for the match
Satisfied Leo took his place in the center of the court to wait for Callie and the players from Slytherin and Ravenclaw. When a the group of student's had formed around him he spoke as much as to them as the people in the stands. "Welcome everyone to the second Gobstones match of the season."
"Good luck to both houses and remember that horse-play won't be tolerated." he said putting emphasizis on the last words. Giving the teams their stone, green to Slytherin and blue to Ravenclaw he took his place on the sideline.

For the first shot of the match Slytherin sent out third year West Odessa to be in charge of the green shooter and Ravenclaw sent out Amelia Johanson to take the blue shooter. Both players released their marbles.
The marbles sped down the court neck and neck. With 10 meters left to the Jack stone the blue marble started to swerve towards the side and out to the edge of the court. The green marble took advantage and rolled up and tapped the Jack stone.
"The first shot of the match is won by Slytherin!" Mr Kitridge declared.

West Odessa shot away the green marble for Slytherin with precision and aim. The green marble rolled up within an inch of the Jack stone. The Ravenclaws attempt ended in futile and they got showered in bad smelling gob.
