Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw
The building used for the Gobstones matches had had it's doors opened to the brisk, early winter air and it's surfaces magically dusted by Professor Elwood and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's third match.
The red and blue marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Gryffindor and Ravenclaw Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping. Read the Gobstones Rule Book before playing and if you did last term, please check again because it's been updated. The thread is moderated so your answer won't show up until the sponsors allow it. When Leobald headed down from the castle to set up for the third Gobstones match of the term a light rain drizzled down on his head as he walked. By the time he had unlocked and entered he was slightly cold but dry since he had been covering himself with an umbrella. He fetched the stone bags and took a tour of the court and stands in the viewing area.
Everything looked good for the match so Leo took his place in the center of the court to wait for Callie and the players from Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. When a the group of student's had formed around him he spoke as much as to them as the people in the stands. "Welcome everyone to the third Gobstones match of the season."
"Good luck to both houses and remember that horse-play won't be tolerated." he said putting emphasizis on the last words. Giving the teams their stone, blue to Ravenclaw and red to Gryffindor he took his place on the sideline.

In the first shot of the match Dustin Ashy took the blue shooter for Ravenclaw and Ira Wilson took the red shooter for Gryffindor. Both players released their marbles with good aim. It was a tight roll all the way up to the Jack stone where the blue marble beat the red and inched up closest to the Jack stone. "The first point of the match goes to Ravenclaw." Leobald annouced.

A new shot meant another face off between the two girl prefect's. Beatrice and Ira released their marbles for a second time in a row. The red marble rolling a little faster than the blue all the way up to the Jack stone successfully blocking the blue marble from any attempt to inch up closest to the Jack stone which resulted in the Ravenclaw players being sprayed in smelly gob. Eww.

Ira Wilson and Ethan McCarthy stayed on point with their respective shooters for a rematch. The marbles were released and they sped off down the court. The red marble had good aim and speed towards the Jack stone while the blue marble started to swerve to the right side of the court more and more. It didn't stop at the edge of the court but close. The red marble had in the mean time rolled into the area around the Jack stone and was thus deemed closest.
