Potions. Ella quite liked this class even if it did scare her quite a bit. Okay, well it wasn't exactly the class that scared her but still.... The blonde made her way to the classroom, smoothing her robes before entering. She smiled a little when her eyes fell on Professor Lafay. She looked...much better! This was good news! Especially because Ella wouldn't worry the entire class that she, Professor Lafay, would pass out or something during the lesson. MEEP!

"Hello Professor, hope you had a nice summer." She greeted softly, giving the woman a faint smile. The fifteen year old then settled for a seat in the middle of the room, placing her bag down and pulling out some parchment and a quill.

Potions.

Tom detested potions.

And it showed clearly on the sixth year boy's face as he entered the classroom. There was Lafay. She looked well..

At least there was always a practical side to the work in Potions. Tom could just about cope with that. And his note taking had improved dramatically. Maybe not quite up to his seventeen years of age, but he no longer wrote like he was ten years his junior.

“Proffesah.” He greeted with a mumble and a nod before scurrying past quickly to find a seat at the back of the room.

Gary had some reasons why he must be early at Potions class.

1. The classroom was located in the Dungeons which is very close from Slytherin common room. So, it was shame if they're late.
2. The potion mistress is his own Head of House. So, he didn't want to make her dissapointed by coming late. Besides that, He's a Head Boy now.
3. Potions is the only subject that he could expect to get Outstanding results in NEWTs

See? So now the Head Boy walked to the classroom and... BINGO! He wasn't late. A bit early maybe. "Good Morning, Professor." he greeted her politely. Professor Lafay looked.. well, a bit healthier than before. He took a seat at the corner (as usual) and waited for the class started.

Finally it was Potions class! Ira had actually been so waiting for the first potions class of the term. Actually she was looking forward to be with Professor Lafay, all better now. She was quite thankful that her potions mistress was back in Hogwarts.

Entering the potions classroom, she smiled a bit hesitantly, wondering whether or not it was a good idea. But seeing Lafay looking normal, a smile automatically spread wide on her face, and she cheerfully said, "Hello, Professor Lafay!" Seeing the other two students already in before, she nodded and smiled at them. Looking towards the professor again, she said, "Nice to be back to Potions class with you, Professor Lafay."

Then she took a seat, and readied her parchment and quill on her desk, and waited for the class to start.

Potions. NO. No, Alice did not want to go to potions. She detested potions. She despised them. The lioness didn't want to do something wrong or blow up a cauldron by mistake. And lose points or something. Nope. It wasn't happening. So when she entered the classroom, she went to greet the Professor, like a good little girl, and then moved to the very back of the classroom. Then, maybe, Lafay wouldn't notice if she exploded something or the other. "Hullo, Professor, I hope you had a lovely summer." .. oh, and she looked much better, didn't she? Like.. like not-dead better.

With that, Alice dropped her bag on the floor beside her chair with a faint thud, and then grabbed some parchment and a quill from inside of it. Notes, yeah? So she could maybe possibly avoid destroying something? Yes, she was going to ATTEMPT.

Today was Ellura's first trip to the dungeons.

She half expected it to resemble the dungeons of old, the ones you read about in history books or or saw in movies. But as the third year made her way down the steps to the lowest level of Hogwarts,(inwardly grateful she hadn't made the trip right from Gryffindor tower), the only thing she felt that resembled those was the cold, dank environment in which she now resided. Certainly not too welcome a place and she couldn't help wondering how the Slytherins stood it down here.

Setting the thought aside, Ellura followed the corridor in search of the right classroom, finally spotting an open one with a few students and a professor inside so she took it as fact that she had come to the right place. "Good day Professor," she greeted with a polite smile as she entered the room and took in the space more fully.

Entering the potions classroom, Gavin had a notepad in hand and a muggle pen. His attention was drawn to the potions mistress right away and offered her a smile "Good morning Mrs. Lafay." he said kindly "I'm Gavin Higareda, and was hoping you'd allow me to sit in your class today."

Oichi walked into the potions classroom and was pleased to see that her professor looked a lot better then she did last term. She passed the professor and said, "Good day Professor Lefay, glad to see you are looking well.". With that Oichi took a seat at one of the potions stations and got out her supplies. She hoped that this lesson Professor Lefay would not try anything questionable. She had already gotten in big trouble this term, she really did not want to do anything here aswell that she would regret.

Uniform neat and tidy, check. Hair in order, check. Breathe smelled good, check. Most importantly school bag packed correctly check.

Before even walking into the potions classroom, Nessie wanted to make sure she was organized. She knew Lafay was not one to mess with and this year, she wanted to begin to improve her ways now so that when NEWTs came next year she'd be prepared.

The red head all prim and proper entered the classroom and gave the Professor a tiny smile. Lafay still to this day scared her immensely, especially even more so now that she was back to her healthy, normal state. "Morning, Professor." She gave a tiny nod and then took a seat.

POTIONS. It was TIME!

With his bag slung over his shoulder, Dylan swaggered into the class, seemingly happy and in a good mood. It was LIES...but he was working with what he could. No need to appear broken down and an emotional mess.

Lafay seemed to be in better spirits...So, that was helping the Captain's deposition some. With a genuine grin at the older woman,

The first thing he noticed was Lafay standing in the middle of the room looking to be in good spirits. Well, that was a relief. Did that mean no one would be getting physically harmed today? Bummer.

"Good morning, Professor." Flirtation might have been present in his tone as he took his seat.

...Just maybe.

It was potions time again...Belle remembered making potions from previous years that were fun. Belle enjoyed this class and hoped to get a good NEWT grade.

With Belle's bag on her shoulder, she walked in and noticed the chill in the air. She shivered and forgot how cold it was in the dungeons. But it was hot in the great hall so it was perfect.

Belle the noticed the professor sitting in the middle of the room, looking cheerful and better? Hmm...she remembered the professor being sick and not feeling so hot. She was glad she could teach again. As Belle went to find her seat, Belle said, "Good morning professor, nice to see you are feeling better."

After she said her greeting, she sat down and started to doodle in her notebook.

Sierra loved spending time with her mother, even if it meant it was in a classroom with tons of other students. Although she saw her all the time, it was different from when they were at home and could just be their usual mother and daughter team. She did, however, have something for her mom today. It was just a simple token to say 'I'm thinking of you, and I love you'. Oh, and a little bit of 'thanks for the bludger and the new broom' mixed in, too.

"Morning, Mom," she said, not so the whole class could hear but so just her mom could. Sierra had walked right up to her. She held up a single pink rose and placed it in her mom's hands. Then she smiled, turned on her heels, and went to take a seat.

Potions potions potions! Okay, Aurora was excited for this... it was her favourite lesson and she just wanted to be back in the swing of things. She walked into the classroom and took her seat near the front of the class, "Good day, Professor." she said, sending a polite nod and smile to her head of house.

Time to learn something that she actually cared about.

Christmas entered the potions classroom really looking forward to the lesson in one of her favourite subjects and said "Good morning professor"

Laura was a bit worried about this lesson, especially since Professor Lafay hated her for no apparent reason, she had kicked her out of class last term and Laura had no idea why, well she would just try her best and do what she was told to do. "Good day Professor, how was your summer?" Laura smiled as she went and sat down.

Ugh, WHY was she here? It was no secret that Selina was horrendous at potions. Her OWL was proof enough of this fact she still was rather sorry about the whole blowing stuff up bit. But as she walked into the dungeons she suddenly remembered why she was here because of a particular captain sitting in the classroom. The blonde Slytherin Captain and her had a sort of, well, bet going about this class. He was convinced that he could teach HER potions, which was OBVIOUSLY delusional, and she was convinced that he could not.

She was going to win- no questions asked.

Scrunching up her nose at the smell of the musty, old dungeon she walked over to Lafay who STILL almost always made Selina cower in fear every time that she saw her and nodded to the Professor, "Morning Professor Lafay." Hopefully the older woman would forget the fact that Selina had not gone to ONE of her classes last term, but, HEY, in her defense she had horribly failed her OWL. She was not technically required to be there.

Walking to her seat, she passed by Dylan and whispered, "You're going to lose... just so you know."

Besides, Selina was not a loser. It was not in her nature. So it was probably best if he gave up now.

First Potions class of the year, Oakey had not bothered to deal with Potions all summer long since his OWL's Potion.
Today was different though. Around his neck he was going to tryout Professor Botros' hammer pendant, and next to it tied tightly onto the necklace chains was a small vial of Felix Felicis. Yes, the one his Grandmother flaunted their money around to get for him. He was very cheerful for a Hufflepuff entering into dangerous territory, but he did not take a sip of the potion. He was just happy to have it, and nothing could possibly ruin his day now. "Good Morning Professor Lafay." Oakey said to the Potions Mistress with an unlikely smile, and pulled up a seat beside Dylan. "Wassup Dyl? Howya Doin Selina?". Nope, he did not tryout the potion once since getting it.

Jory was looking forward to Potions. "Good day, Professor,'' he greeted when he entered the room. She was looking much better than last term. "Great to see you again.''

He hurried off to find a seat.

So it was Potions time...

Good. Even though he did not like spending time in classes, potions was one he joined rather willingly simply because the subject was interesting. More than interesting, actually, it was useful too and you did not end up to be all sleepy in the class or be daydreaming about...stuff as it was mostly practical.

Hands in pockets, Rich walked in the classroom with his own usual air of 'I am so cool and attractive' and his gray eyes gazed at the professor a bit. As he eyed her, a smirk appeared on his face. ''Hello, Professor Lafay.'' What was with the rose in her hand? ''Your looks today would make that rose you are holding very jealous i think.'' Hehe...anyway, the rose turned to be of use to him this way.

When he changed his attention from the professor to the seats, as he wanted to choose himself a good one, there he saw Aurora. A nice sight as usual, was not she? Of course she was. Smiling, he immediately made his way towards her and got seated next to her comfortably.

Then he simply leaned in and whispered into her ear. ''Hey pretty! I have been thinking of you. Do you want a kiss?''

Potions, potion, POTIONS.

As much as he liked brewing a potion here and there, it did get boring unless they were making something ULTRA cool. And when Theo entered, he smiled at the fact that Professor Lafay was looking much better. "Hi, Professor!" Glad you didn't die, and stuff! He took a seat and waited for someone to sit next to him.

Potions. Nigel wondered what kind of potion would they would be learning about today. He hoped it was not boring at least. "Hello, Professor Lafay". Nigel then walked to a seat and sat down, got out a notebook, and waited for Lafay to start the lesson.

Aurora was fishing her notebook and her quill from her bag when Richard sat next to her, and when he whispered in her ear she rolled her eyes and looked at him. Not in a good mood today...

"Later. Unless you particularly want to end up hexed for getting me in trouble..." she said, rubbing her temples. "My stomach hurts and it's already going to be hard to concentrate... so... no. Thanks."

Alex walked in to the potions classroom, more than pleased with the knowledge that he was ALMOST done with this class. He'd never been a fan of potions, and even though Lafay didn't terrify him anymore like she had in his first year, he still just didn't have the talent in potions like he did in Herbology or Care of Magical Creatures.

"Hello Professor Lafay," he said with a smile as he sat down. Why had she dyed a streak of her hair gray? Interesting fashion choice.

Addy was all smiles as she entered the Potions classroom. Nodding her head at the professor, the 7th year addressed her, "Good day, Professor." Her smile was full watt as she slid into a seat next to Tom Broadmoor. She figured it was probably the safest spot in the room at the moment. MHM.

Once she was settled she let her smile wilt a little around the edges. Truth was, Addy was more than a little frightened of the professor and just wanted to make it through the class without having to deal with too much nonsense.
