▸ Seren was a reasonably bright and bubbly student, and though she excelled in most subjects, she was often known for being a socialite. Gracing the library with cheerful laughter- often resulting in a scalding and a detention or two. And though Seren was in no way a trouble maker, she often found herself on the receiving end of punishment. Between starting or being involved in ferocious food fights, and wandering the halls after curfew... or tracking mud and dung through the castle, not to mention attempting to enter the forbidden forest whilst skipping Ancient Runes... no, she didn't have a clean record, but in many ways she was a model student. Needless to say her grades did not suffer, even if her mothers nerves did. Seren took pride in her studies and in her sports, excelling in quidditch since her second year, she played as a chaser until she graduated- after which she stopped, under her mothers' influence.

After graduating from Hogwarts, Seren began work as a Garden Designer. However, after a year of this she realised that she wasn’t satisfied and so began her studies in the field of Herbology- a passion of hers. Travelling to the four corners of the world Seren studied a variety of magical plants, trees and herbs. She began her journey in the Amazon Rainforest, though she also explored the untamed wilderness of the Swiss Alps, the Australian Outback and Daintree Rainforest, and Snowdonia National Park. She was particularly fascinated by plants of the Flesh-Eating variety, though she was also partial to plants with fangs. In 2071 she published her findings entitled, A Worlds Collection of Flesh-Eating Trees ,Shrubs and Plants and a year later released Fanged Flowers of the Amazon. Children and education had always been a passion of Seren’s so in 2071 after her adventures as a Herbologist she enrolled at the Cambridge University of Witchcraft and Wizardry, graduating two years later with Honours in Magical Education, specialising in Herbology.◂

▸ Seren Bentley, pureblood, was born to Addiena Monique Bentley- single mother and was raised in Cardiff, Wales. Though Seren grew up in a loving and caring environment with her mother and her grandparents, she always had an untameable curiosity to discover who her biological father was. Much to her dismay, her mother refused to disclose the information- for reasons unknown. This mystery had haunted Seren throughout her childhood and adolescence and still haunts her today. This is the reason why her boggart is a disembodied male voice, she fears being rejected by a man who wasn’t around for her. Despite this, Seren grew up to be an independent, cheerful young woman. Driven by her passions and motivated to make a difference in the world through the education of witches and wizards of the next generation. She plans to encourage children to explore their world, to understand it and to never stop learning, but most importantly to never stop asking questions. Because without questions, there wouldn’t be answers; questions are the most important weapons in an academics arsenal. Friendship is something that comes naturally to Seren, she has the uncanny knack of making friends with almost everyone she meets. Love on the other hand is something that does not come easily to her. Since she was young Seren had never been able to trust a man so much as to get close enough to him to form a serious romantic relationship. She fears heartbreak, this also stems from her issues concerning her absent father. Only one man has come close enough to taming this feisty herbologist, and who knows, perhaps he will.

Comfortable is Leo’s key word when it comes to how he dresses. He prefers wearing a simple shirt and jeans but dresses up for fancy occasions in tuxes or whatever is required. He isn’t picky about clothes but about his hair. He has since he was 6 years old thought that he will go bald before he is forty since all the men in the family has gone that route and that scares him. Leo also thinks that his parents made sure he’ll go bald since they named him Leobald which in his ears sealed his fate since bald in your name is omniscient. So he takes extra care of his hair to be wary of any hair falling off.

➐ Getting to know Me
Leobald was gifted from birth with book smarts and brains that can only be rivaled by few in his age group plus a photographic memory which made learning stuff a breeze. From the day he learned to read he could almost always be found with his head in book in his free time. When he went to Hogwarts, he from the beginning chose books and studying and getting good grades over making friends and socializing. His love for knowledge and the fact that he constantly got bullied for his name and knowledge made it easy for him to choose to be a loner.
It wasn’t until 4rd year that his head of house got involved since Leo’s temper had landed him in detention again for like the 5th time that year for hexing a peer. Sitting down with him the HoH learned the full story about the hair and the constant bullying and after some talk with his colleagues also that the knowledgeable boy had no friends. Perplexed the HoH made Leo sign up for quidditch and he even gave him homework to socialize more. For someone who chose books before living people it was a challenge to just make small talk at dinner or with a desk mate in class let alone doing it effortlessly and every day.
It didn’t make things easier that his temper flared up when people didn’t understand or didn’t believe him. In quidditch he actually showed some apt for the game but no passion so he always ended up on the keeper reserves but his HoH persisted that he should sign up each year since he needed the social interaction. Leo loved all types of trivia contests or games in classes since there he could sport his knowledge but again it led to him being bullied or just looked up on as someone looking to show off or be best.
At home in between terms his father tried to teach him to cook and bake but Leo was unfortunately a total failure in his father eyes since he couldn’t even boil an egg correctly. His dad also told him that which was disheartening to a young boy who wanted nothing more than his father’s approval. Instead Leo spent as much time as possible with his mum since she understood his passion for books and encouraged it.
As a man he is still slightly socially inept. He feels insecure in big groups and always worry that people will misunderstand him or even look at him weirdly because of his broad knowledge. Leo is always on tense when meeting new people and tense usually means his temper is close too. One wrong mocking comment or joke might make his temper flare up and when he sees red he usually doesn’t think straight and that can lead to unpredictable actions. He is a patient man who is practical but not very good at communicating unless it is with just one other person since he tends clam up.

After Hogwarts Leobald was sucked into the family business and helped opened and manage a new book shop his mother opened in downtown Oxford. Leo helped out while his mother was carrying his youngest sister Rose. When his mum got back into managing he fled the field to see the world ending up in New York. Taking several courses at the local university whilst learning how to fish from his mate Ben, he after 3 years was a certified library technician. Persuaded by his mate to make his hobby his profession Leo worked 2 years as a fisherman supplying fresh fish to grocery stores. Going up at the crack of dawn and doing hard work from dusk to dark was only fun for a short time.
Leaving the work as fisherman he searched for new challenges and took up the position as substitute professor at Salem Institute of magic and held it for 3 years teaching classes in a wide variety of subjects including his school favourites of charms, history of magic, herbology and Comc. In the years at Salem he tried a bit of news reporting on the side but it wasn’t something he enjoyed so he gave it up after 6 months. Resigning from his position at Salem, Leo moved back home to Oxford to be near his family again and to re-connect with his sisters whom he had missed dearly while away in the States. Content with being home and helping out at the family book shop he was surprised when Headmaster Tate of Hogwarts came calling wondering if he’d be interested in the vacant librarian position. Accepting without thinking much about it Leobald is now on his way to start working at his former school.
➒ The life Story
Leobald was born as the eldest son of Frank and Charlotte Kitridge on a rainy day in Oxford, England on May 2nd 2047. Being born into a family with mixed heritage in the lines boded for an upbringing with influences from both the muggle and magical world. From the day he was born Leo was surrounded by books and his father’s cooking. He learned to read almost as quickly as he showed magical abilities. Like all Kitridge’s his mother most especially he as he got older got more stubborn and also acquired a feisty temper when aroused. In his youth the temper usually resulted in throwing things around but luckily that has happened more seldom in adulthood.
When he was 3 his sister Ariel came into the world and they grew close as siblings usually do living close and playing with each other. One thing Leo hated was that Ariel instead of calling him Leo kept calling him ‘baldie’. It made him self-conscious and broody when he learned what bald meant from his father. From that day on he has paid extra attention to his hair and the few unlucky people who have called him ‘bald’ have been hexed through the years. 6 years after Ariel a new girl was born into the family; Rose.
Leo’s temper isn’t to be taken lightly; when aroused it has resulted in him serving plenty of punishments in his youth like cleaning out the weed in the vegetable patch, cleaning all the bathrooms or not being allowed to read books and at Hogwarts detention. His temper usually quiets down if Leo gets distracted by talking by books or fishing or taking a stroll but that is if someone stops him before he starts throwing things. If not then take cover and wait for the storm to pass.
During his Hogwarts years Leo showed apt in his studies and got high marks in most subjects since learning came easy to him. He took part in all games especially trivia or chess since he liked the strategy and found the games fun and exciting. When it came to friends he didn’t exactly have any to speak of until his HoH got involved but even then Leo only kindled cautious relationships with his peers scared to get burned like he had in his previous years. Graduating from Hogwarts he had made a few friends and had dated one girl name Chelsea Oakheart which he kept dating for a few years until they drifted apart, the friends he has kept in touch with and cherishes fiercely.
After Hogwarts he has tried out a number of professions over the years like fisherman, shop manager, substitute professor and news reporter with different success. Currently he is looking forward to start teaching at Hogwarts meeting both his new colleagues and the student body in september of 2077.

Kurumi was born to a muggle mother and a pure-blood father, making her half and half. Her mother, Yukie Someya, is Japanese and her father, Charles Hollingberry, is British. Her parents met when her father was on a research and ambassador mission for the Ministry to meet with representatives of the Japanese Ministry. He met Yukie while sightseeing, and kept the fact that he was a wizard from her until he had to return to England for a short period of time. He eventually transferred to Japan and married Yukie who bore him 4 children: Ryunosuke, Takashi, Junichiro, and Kurumi. Kurumi, being the youngest and the only girl, grew up doing everything her brothers did including intensive kendo training as her mother’s family owns a dojo. Because her family lived in a small town with very few non-Japanese, Kurumi and her brothers were always severely bullied for being “half breeds” – meaning only having half Japanese blood. It is due to these unfortunate circumstances that her parents decided to keep their magical abilities a secret until an owl arrived from Hogwarts. Kurumi, who took the most severe bullying, was told her siblings had to study abroad in England and that they would explain why to her when she was older. It was not until she received her first letter not two weeks before the start of the term did she know that an entirely different world awaited her.

Full Personality: Now while his gallant and brave Gryffindor side is most prevalent in him day to day, he has proven on more than one occasion to have his father’s more Slytherin traits. Gideon also has his mother’s temper which flares at times especially when pushed too far and those he cares for are threatened. Quiet at times and with few strong friends, he is very personable and friendly, willing to help those that need him or just want to be nice to.

Full History: Gideon was born on December 25th 2061 in Scotland. He was the first blood child of Celeste and Damien Gert though they had 'adopted' Andrew Carson shortly before. Originally expected closer to both parents’ birthdates in early January, he was a surprise Christmas present albeit a welcome one. Now a middle child with the addition of his younger sister Kacie, the dynamic has rounded out to be the perfect family.
His childhood was one of many ups and downs that certainly effected how he behaved and behaves in later years. An outgoing child at first growing up, terrible events the marred his young life changed him into the more introverted boy that he was shown as during his first three years at school. Thankfully however the times have changed and Gideon is one more friendly however quiet he might appear at times.

SPOILER!!: His 1st through 5th years
First Year: A quiet 11year old, nearly the oldest of his class due to his birthday, was who stepped into Hogwarts to start his schooling. While he was open to all houses, he was sorted into Gryffindor; he followed the footsteps of his mother and Great Grand Aunt, Minerva McGonagall. Second Year: At the start of his second year, Gideon got the excited news that the Triwizard Tourniment was to be taken place at Hogwarts that year. As a loyal Gryffindor he supported their house champion at first however at her removal from the competition, switched his loyalty to the Slytherin champion. Third Year: Fourth Year: The quiet Gryffindor finally came out of his shell with a bang, meeting both halves of best friends Kurumi and Selina on the way to Hogwarts as well as his roommate Christopher over the summer. The three became his friends and helped him show his true colors over the progression of the school term.
As the year progressed he grew closer to all three though Gideon seemed more drawn to Selina as they seemed to have a sense of commonality. This came to a head when after a meet-up in the locker room after the first game which Gideon had played in, they found themselves kissing each other. The new development sent their relationship into a whirlwind of wonder and avoidance that lasted for a while until the two friends finally confronted the issue and decided to finally give dating a try between them. However they both made a promise to always put their friendship first despite whatever else might happen between them. Fifth Year: After an interesting summer of Gideon and Selina both meeting each other's family, Gideon was back at school for his fifth term at Hogwarts. Also...this year he wasn't the only Gert at Hogwarts, Kacie joining the house of Gryffindor for her first term at the school. At the end of the term, Gideon sat for his OWL exams, doing his best and hoping to pass each one he completed so he continue in the classes he wishes to.
Sixth Year: When he entered his sixth year Gideon was relieved to be over one hump of his education…his fifth year and the subsequent OWL exams. And with the successful passing of all those that he took, he felt confident in having succeeded to narrow down his various future options. However he was given a great surprise when with his letter, there was also a prefects badge included as well.
Another milestone for his sixth year…he and Selina have finally confessed their true feelings for each other. The couple coming to terms with the idea of love and working on what the future may hold for them.
On the flipside, the end of his sixth year marks the end of the use of his wand purchased before he began his schooling at Hogwarts. One time witch and a moment of failure, it was stolen.

Her medium length red hair has a slight curl to it on most days, but not a tamed red hair curl, which becomes most apparent when she stressed especially in Potions. Her height is not only a sensitive subject to her, but an important part of her Gryffindor Pride. She suffers from a serious case of a Napoleonic complex; she is five foot three inches on a good day. Because of her small stature she is always trying to look taller than she is with no success. Selina is also a hardcore Quidditch player and takes her job as Chaser and Captain quite seriously. She is in a constant state of training for the Pitch, which leads to her very skinny frame. Her small frame is a cause of concern for many of her friends, until they see her eat-- Selina can eat non stop for ages. But Selina's most striking feature is her piercing blue eyes.

Personality
Personality: There is a reason why Selina is known to her house mates, and pretty much everyone she comes in contact with, as a fiery redhead. She is loud, opinionated and very blunt. When it comes to speaking her mind she has no inhibitions and it is her greatest attribute and greatest vice. But her opinionated mouth is dangerous because it is accompanied by her vicious temper. This temper cannot be quelled by any one individual. The only way to calm Selina is to allow her to breath and calm herself down. No one can out-argue Selina, although many have tried.
Underneath all of this heat and fire also is the calm and fierce friend that makes Selina a person. Despite her vicious temper, Selina is a great listener and is often the person her friends go to when they need advice; she knows what to say to make them feel better, it is something that even Selina cannot explain. She is a good friend and very funny or perhaps witty depending on the aim. Her easy going attitude is what is her usual frame of mind, the temper only comes provoked. Also the most amusing part of Selina is that she cannot lie... try her out, she'll stutter.
The most deep and personal part of Selina is that she is hurt very easily. She can be shattered by any few words which is why she acts the way she does with her pride and confident attitude. After a few traumatic incidents in her life she finds it better to hide her insecurities than bare them to the world. She is not that strong.
Skills: Selina is a dedicated and talented Quidditch player. There is nothing Selina loves more than getting up in the air and playing a nice good game of Quidditch. She'll play any position, but would always prefer to be a Chaser; it is her position of choice. Selina is also a very talented flute player and loves to sit down and play the flute with her friend Kurumi playing the piano. Although her most internal talent that she releases all of her pain into is her art. She loves to paint, draw, sketch. Anything she can get her hands on to create is a passion of hers.
Faults: Selina cannot sing. Actually when she sings it sounds like a cat is being drown and beaten at the same time. The odd thing is that she always sounds good in the beginning and then it falls apart... horribly. Selina also cannot do anything remotely related to Potions. By the end of the year Selina, without a doubt, has blown up another cauldron. For some reason she is utterly rubbish and Potions and always ends up harming people in class including herself. But her biggest fault is that she believes her gift, being a Seer, is something awful. She does not have any confidence in the fact that she sees the future, she believes it is a curse.

History:
Father: Jake Skylar is a famous Quidditch Player for the Fowlmouth Falcons as their Captain and Head Chaser. For some odd reason Jake is super dedicated on the Pitch, but at home is a very goofy and down to earth guy. He is super compassionate and loving, but has a very rotten jealously streak when it comes to his wife.
Mother: Sophia Skylar works at the Ministry of Magic as the Magical Ambassador to Australia in the Department of International Cooperation. She is a very work centered woman and is super driven. Everything she does is about completing the task and making sure that things go off without a hitch. She, underneath, is a broken woman who is trying to add stability to her life.
History: Selina Arden Skylar was born on April 11, 2062 as a Mixed Blood Witch it's complicated to Jake and Sophia Skylar. Because she was born into a family where her father was a famous Quidditch player she was born into money and it also did not hurt that her father's family had a lot of old money. So from a young age everything that Selina wanted was catered to her. For a while this was a very good thing; her large house was filled with love and joy and comfort. It was further enhanced when Selina was two years old and Danielle Skylar, her little sister, was born. The two sisters only had a year together until the unspeakable occurred. Jake Skylar's sister Jennette was born a Seer and he had witnessed it hurt her life from his childhood. When Selina was born she showed signs of having the gift of sight and Jake and Sophie decided that they would suppress her abilities and have her hold them in. They hoped they would never resurface, but after three years of holding them in, Selina was three, she exploded and killed her baby sister in the process. Selina was suddenly put in a coma after her sister died from the sheer force of energy that she exalted. When she awoke Danielle was dead and even at a young age Selina knew it was her fault. From then on the big house became a prison as her father buried his grief in his work and her mother took a job in Australia to get away from the grief. The family to this day has not taken the time to grieve for the lost child. As she grew up she spent her lonely hours in the big house drawing and playing the flute and flying. It all became her escape and after the previous Seer moment that killed her sister the visions went away.
When Selina attended her first year of Hogwarts her mother returned home and got a job at the Ministry to be close to home and Selina started to see things turn around. At school she became the only first year on the Quidditch team and everything was good. Until she had her first vision.
Now, going into her sixth year, Selina often has visions and her ability is a secret except to a few. Her sister Danielle plagues her thoughts and of all of the horrible things, Selina still blames herself. However, she does have an escape in her friends and her favorite part of being a Hogwarts student- Gryffindor Quidditch Captain.

Melanie can typically be found in her school uniform because she does have classes five days a week. But when it’s a weekend, Melanie does enjoy wearing casual clothing like a t-shirt and jeans or a large sweater. Melanie also loves to wear hats and nerdy glasses without lenses thinking they’re cute and fashionable. { History }
Melanie was born to Elizabeth and Kenny Sung who fell in love by accident. Funny story, apparently they actually didn’t like each other at first but they fell in love in the very end. Melanie loved the story of how her mother and father used to hex each other and tease each other. It was like a perfect romance story that she’d read over and over again if she could. Being an only child, she was spoiled a bit by her parents who loved her very much. Melanie did things that upset things at times but at the very end of the day, they’d all sit down together for a meal and she’d apologize before eating. Both of her parents are very traditional and superstitious for some unknown reason, but Melanie isn’t. Her parents were both from Korea and settled in the United States after their marriage and held onto many customs from Korea. Melanie, being born in America, did not share the same views but loved the folk tales from there as well as the idea of going back there. Since both her parents dislike traveling, Melanie never got a chance to visit her parent’s hometown but after she graduates, she hopes to go there for a visit and meet her parents’ siblings and her numerous cousins.
Melanie looks up to her cousins, particularly her elder cousin Elaine, who is five years her senior and ready to debut musically. Melanie hopes that one day she can be as successful as her New York City cousin. Her cousin Elaine has influenced Melanie a lot and Melanie is often found with her cousin when she isn’t lost looking for the elder female. Other than Elaine, Melanie looks up to her mother and father who have both raised her and loved her unconditionally.
She attended Hogwarts up until the end of her third year. Summer before her third year, she met her new best friend, Landon Hughes, when she got lost in New York. It wasn’t until the winter time that she ran into him again at the ice cream parlor. Melanie considers him to be her best friend due to their similarities though there are numerous things that set the two apart.
However, she has transferred from Salem to Hogwarts because of family matters. Her grandmother and grandfather wish to spend more time with her and with her parents’ consent, she has moved to London to reside with them. She would stay with her parents for the first half of the summer vacation and spend all other holidays with her grandparents. Her parents would fly over for Christmas. Melanie was quite satisfied with this arrangement though she was a bit upset about leaving her friends at Salem.
On the bright side, she now has one extra teddy bear from her friends, Jason & Sabrina, as a reminder that they’ll all still be friends. Plus, she’s embarking on a whole new adventure and Melanie couldn’t wait to see what was in store for her.

{ Personality }
Melanie is very trusting of people and believes that they wouldn’t lie to her. That’s also the reason why it’s very easy to gain her trust but also just as easy to lose it. Once you lose her trust in you, she’ll always wonder if what you’re saying is a lie. Melanie is very sweet and tries to obey her parents’ wishes and do well academically. However, she isn’t exactly the sharpest and can be a bit slow at times but by no means is she stupid. She can be very smart and can study diligently but she believes that one day she’ll be famous and she won’t need any of the things she learns in school which can deter her from what she’s supposed to do.
She also loves joking around and general teasing of others. It’s very easy to make Melanie laugh and when she finds something particularly funny; it can take her a while to stop laughing. She also loves making other people laugh and smile with music and lame jokes. She’s not the best at telling jokes but she loves hearing them from other people. Melanie also ends up cracking up whenever she trips or dances awkwardly. It’s not that she’s a bad dancer, she just doesn’t like it when the spotlight is put on her immediately and she has to dance – she simply doesn’t know what to do any does something random. The girl is also very clumsy and trips over everything and anything which isn’t great since she loves to wear tall shoes; plus, she has a horrible sense of direction.
In a small group of people, she can be loud and outgoing but in front of a huge audience of over forty people, she gets quite nervous and her face turns red. Getting compliments can also cause her cheeks to turn pink. She is, generally, very comfortable around people though and doesn’t mind striking up a conversation with a stranger. Because she dislikes crying, Melanie tries to be optimistic though there are her off days when she’s just sensitive.

She likes Quidditch, only to watch it from the stands. Even now, she hasn't fully understood the game. So she figured that it was much better to sit in stands and cheer for her house team. However she does like playing Gobstones.
She doesn't like studies much, but she can and does study as and when required. She is an average student, but a dedicated one at that. Her favorite subjects are Charms and Transfiguration, though she is very good at Potions. She hates Divination and Astronomy as she finds them terribly boring and useless. The other subjects, she can manage. And she hates homework, especially those which involve writing long essays!

When she gets really nervous or anxious, she starts biting on her nails, a habit that she's had since she was little. Extra Info Personality: Penelope is full of contradictions. She can, at times, be very much in control of her emotions to the point where she can appear almost emotionless, yet there are still times where she will almost literally explode, such as when she gets angry or frustrated. To some degree, she can control her outbursts of wandless magic, but she has significantly less control when using a wand. She is eager to learn new things but lacks the desire to read and work hard in order to learn. She appears small and harmless, but she’s more than willing to (and capable of) taking someone down with brute force. And though she is a witch, she is far more likely to throw a punch than a spell. (So if she’s really angry (especially at you), your best bet is to duck or to run, as she is more likely to fight than to argue.)
Despite her seemingly conflicting personality (or, perhaps, because of), Penelope is a rather loyal, accepting person. There’s very little that will shock or surprise her, and she wouldn’t ever think about excluding someone as a friend because they look or talk differently. She is rather headstrong and outspoken though, so she will let you know if she does or does not like something. She also tends to be pretty blunt and straightforward with her thoughts and opinions.

My past is like this: Not very interesting. I went to a muggle school until I was eleven, upon my mum’s request. My dad wanted me to leave that school as soon as he was sure I was magical. I stayed, though, and once I turned eleven my dad sent me to Durmstrang. Because that’s where he went. It wasn’t a bad school, and I wouldn’t have minded staying… but my mum wanted me closer to home. Like Hogwarts is anywhere near Wolverhampton… but if it makes her feel better about the whole thing, I’m okay with it.

Flirt. Flirty flirt flirt. The most basic and most often used word to describe Coul. Honestly, he'll flirt with just about any girl that's pretty and not mean or anything. He also really likes people. He doesn't like being alone much and often gets bored very easily. So, he's often making new friends just so that he always has company. He's rarely ever shy or quiet really. Which could quite possibly get him into loads of trouble with the teachers. Coulson's also really bad at being serious or consoling people when they're upset. He always tries to see the brighter side of things. It's easier that way, he thinks.
He has an ego the size of the moon. His self confidence level is through the roof and that could quite possibly be the reason that he's so flirty and optimistic. He also rarely ever lies, except for when the matter is about his father, and usually just says whatever he feels like saying. He doesn't really care what people think about him because he's positive that everybody who comes into contact with him thinks he's the coolest, most awesome person to ever grace this planet. He's also known to be a little bit headstrong like his mother, but not nearly as intense as she is. And then of course there's the obvious difference. He smiles, she doesn't.

It started off in the workplace. The newly fresh out of school Magdelena Greene snatched a job offering in the MLE. She had only been out of Hogwarts for a few weeks when an American MLE worker sent her an owl explaining how impressed he was with her grades and various statuses. The man's name was Isaac Jefferies, head of the auror in training department. Without a second thought, she had wrote back to him accepting the job. Soon after, she was shipped off by her parents, having slight difficulty finding a place where she could take up residence. Upon starting her work, she made sure to get to know her colleagues around the office. Not only the other auroras and trainees, but the rest of the department as well. Which is how she met the dashing Gene Bradshaw. He was four years older, sweet, kind-hearted and awfully generous. Had she not been the overly headstrong, feminist girl that everyone knew her as, he might have been able to completely sweep her off her feet. Or, she might have showed that she had indeed been head over heels. But whenever she was asked about their relationship, her face would remain just as unrevealing as usual.
After a few months of getting to know him, he offered to share his small house in Hawaii with her which she graciously accepted. After all, her apartment wasn't anywhere near as nice as his house and hers was quite possibly infested with rats, cockroaches and various other unwelcome guests. As he grew on her, they fell into somewhat of a routine some might even call it love. But after a year or so, tragedy struck. Though, Maggie was the only one out of the two to really think of it as a tragedy. She found out that she was pregnant. And that was definitely not part of the plan. She fell into something of a depression as she watched her stomach grow along side of the warm fuzzy feelings that seemed to be emanating from Gene. It almost seemed as though he'd done this purposely.
After having the young boy and allowing Gene to name the abomination after some sort of comic book character (merlin help her), she was never quite as happy as she once was. The world seemed to come out from under her and Gene found himself at a wall whenever he tried to connect with his girlfriend. She refused to let him in, but somehow they managed to keep the child alive. She rarely felt the love a mother should feel toward their child and often left most of the caring to Gene. But as the young Coulson grew, her feelings toward the child altered and as he reached the age of six, she felt what a mother might feel for a her own child. Though she was still rubbish at showing just how she felt and the feelings she once had for Gene never truly rekindled.

A year after those feelings for her song became apparent, tragedy struck. Her secrets were no longer secrets. Gene found out that Maggie, who was still only his girlfriend, had been having an affair with another man from the office. He had no idea who it was, nor how long this whole thing had been going on. In a black rage, he went into the office one morning, and went off. He was delusional and downright psychotic. She had tried to tell him numerous times that it was over between them, but he'd never listen. They all should have seen it coming. There were signs that he hadn't been all there. Signs that had been there even before all of this nonsense happened. He was clearly off his rocker. In the office, time had slowed down it seemed. Gene had drawn his wand, and avada kedavra'd every man he could. He had high aims for the aurora division, which he had figured the man was from and despite all of their training, he managed to get a few shots in on a few people. Bodies dived to the ground as the realized what was happening and he quickly appraited out and returned home to Mags and little seven year old Coulson.
Gene put no time to waste. The loon snatched Maggie's extra wand as well as the one she normally carried and snapped them in two. Maggie awoke to that unfamiliar sound and rushed to see what was going on. Gene though, was right there waiting for her. He stood just out of sight, next to the stairs and snatched her as she reached the bottom step. The scream that echoed through the house woke up Coulson to no surprise. The young boy sleepily rubbed at his eyes as he climbed out of bed. Meanwhile, Gene was shouting at Mags and shaking her, asking her why she would ever dream of doing such a thing to him. He asked whether she understood what he'd given up- what he'd done to try to win over her heart. As he was questioning her little sleepy-eyed Coulson had made his way down half of the stairs by sliding down them on his bum silently. He grabbed onto the rails, peering though them as though he was in jail, as he normally did when he was bored.
His mother saw him sitting there first and to her best efforts she tried to quiet her screams as she was being tortured for his sake. Gene barely noticed though. He was too busy throwing out questions at her. Questions she couldn't answer. He was completely gone. Insane, really. There could be no help for him. After a a few more minutes of questions and Gene explaining just how ungrateful she was, his eyes drifted to the stairs and he saw little Coulson looking at him. Coul stared at his father, his crazy hair, the scary look in his eyes and the boy shrieked out for his mother, terrified of this stranger before him. Gene's eyes softened for a moment before he turned back to the task at hand. Little did he know, the cookie jar that was on the shelf just above his head began moving slightly. Every few seconds it seemed to jump a little closer to the edge until finally it toppled over onto Gene's head, knocking the man out. Coulson's magical abilities had begun to show.
A few moments after that, the remaining Auror's bursted through the door, seizing their unconscious coworker. They arrested him and threw him into a high security prison that doubled as a psychiatric facility, leaving Magdelena to take comfort and care for little Coulson all by herself. The year that ensued was a difficult one. The two of them sold the previous house in Hawaii and got a smaller one that was not nearly as nice as the old one but a lot closer to the water. Mags rarely slept thanks to nightmares and when she did find herself nodding off, Coulson's screams of terror often woke her right back up. She also received stares from coworkers and death glares of the women who lost their boyfriends or husbands thanks to her own ex boyfriend. Yes, she knew that she had done wrong by cheating on him but she also knew that it wasn't entirely her fault. He was insane. That was his own fault. Despite all of this, she was promoted time after time.

First, she gained her official Auror status, then she became somewhat of a private investigator/under cover agent. She needed the distraction and her boss knew that. She was pretty sure that he gave her that job out of pity. So that she wouldn't have to be around the office as much. It also allowed her to move around a lot and as much as she pleased, really. So after Coulson began school in Salem and the children their had found out about his father, she withdrew him and together the moved, while she kept up with her job but in a new location. After she moved Coulson to Durmstrang again, she had wanted to keep him there for a few years but after hearing him complain about it constantly, she decided his best bet was to be in a place he wanted to be. Which definitely wasn't Durmstrang. So, she figured taking him to the school she went to as a young lady would suffice.
The young boy quickly made friends over the use of the internet, eventually meeting some in Diagon Alley and even taking one of them to the beach with him mainly because she'd never been to the beach and he couldn't let that stand. He had to change that. So he did. And now, he prepares to go to Hogwarts.

Father - David Edwards was born to Charles Henry and Hannah Rachel Edwards in June 2032 of ancient wizarding blood. He attended Hogwarts, and was a Ravenclaw. Mother - Rebecca Edwards was born to Benjamin and Eliza Adams in December 2035 in Johannesburg, South Africa, yet grew up in variety of places finally settling in England when she was 10. A talanted writer and creative, motherly woman, Rebecca is loved by all. Sarah is very much like her mother in the artisic sense and carries some of her mother's charecter traits. Rebecca is a muggle-born who attended Hogwarts from 2047 until she graduated. She was top of her class and was the Gryffindor Prefect and later Head Girl.

Ariadne is the daughter of Ava Marchbanks, from a Pureblood family, former owner of a small bookshop in Otley, and a Muggle, Lloyd Gallagher, now a prominent politician in Muggle Britain. Ari's father had left her mother whilst the woman was pregnant, when she confessed she was a witch, and never returned, unable to deal with the fact. Ariadne never got the chance to meet her father, but she still hopes that would be possible one day. Ava Marchbanks decided to give Ariadne her surname rather than Lloyd's, given the man’s lack of involvement in the family.
Ava's younger brother Tristan served as a father-figure for Ariadne, becoming her favourite uncle. Ari also has a close relationship with her maternal grandparents, Ambrosius Marchbanks and Calliope Marchbanks (nee Goldstein). Both the Marchbanks and Goldstein families have been in Ravenclaw for generations, until Ariadne went to Hogwarts. One of the girl's great-grandmothers was Griselda Marchbanks, Ravenclaw Prefect and then Head Girl in school, Governor of the Wizarding Examinations Authority and member of the Wizengamot, who tested Harry Potter in his Divination O.W.L practical.
When Ari finished her third year, her mother married Matthew DuBarry, a wizard working at the ministry. The pair decided to move to France, where Matthew inherited an estate from his late father. Ariadne could not adapt to living in France and attending Beauxbatons, so she returned to England for her fifth year and lives with her maternal grandparents.
Personality
What is most noticeable about Ariadne is her intelligence and her inquisitiveness. Her biggest fear is failure; she is very ambitious and a perfectionist. Ari also has a spirit for justice, but that doesn't stop her from mischief every now and then. Besides determination, the girl has also got lots of courage and is independent.
Ariadne doesn't strike you as a very friendly person, but she is likeable and compassionate. Sometimes sarcastic, but rarely truly funny, she appreciates people who make her laugh. The girl likes company, but isn't bothered by solitude either. As an only child raised by a rather busy single parent, she learned to do many things on her own. However, she is very loyal to her friends and would do anything for them.
Ariadne loves reading and is very passionate about history, both magical and Muggle. She also enjoys spending time outdoors and swimming. She can sometimes be quite a chatterbox, especially when she's nervous. On the outside at least, she always seems very calm and composed. Outbursts of either joy or fury are very rare in her case.

Background
Thomas was born in Brixton, London where he was raised by his muggle parents, Anthony and Helen Broadmoor. He is the third and last born child into the Broadmoor family. Although he is loved as much as his siblings by his parents, his arrival into the world was both unexpected and unwanted at the time. The family whom lived in a small claustrophobic two 'and a half' bedroomed council flat in Brixton already felt the financial strain of having four mouths to feed. An additional child would prove to be a real struggle for them.
His childhood was rather deprived, but unlike his older brother, Freddie, Tom kept his head down and managed to keep out of trouble.. and all credit to the boy given the bad influences and peer pressures around him. Up until he was fifteen, the worst he had done was nicked some sweets from the local newsagent, disappeared without telling his ma, and played truant from school. The latter of which he had reasons for: his discontent and lack of attention span could all be pinpointed to his severe Dyslexia.. if anyone cared enough to look that is. The state school he attended didn't have the resources nor the funds to provide him with the extra help he needed. He ended up becoming more and more disillusioned with school and education. His silent protest was to not attend.
His family is close and loving but he does have a little turmoil in his life. Nothing too dramatic, but the usual of being the last-born child in a family struggling to make ends meet. He often feels ignored, and feels like he is nothing special in comparison to his eldest brother who has an IQ just below Mensa standard and a sister who is the only girl in the family. When his brother and sister went off to Hogwarts, it only intensified his feelings of inferiority.
He is muggleborn, and like Freddie and Kat, he was slow to show signs of magic. His first encounters were of the spectacular and explosive (literally!) kind and stemmed from frustration. Unable to articulate himself properly after getting a scolding from his mother, he blew up the television set in the living room in a fit of rage. He received his letter by owl and an invite to Hogwarts shortly after. Needless to say, the boy was delighted.
His education at Hogwarts started off positively. He enjoyed some of his classes and made a few friends. But once again, he began to struggle with the academic subjects. Potions was a living nightmare, but he hid his Dyslexia like he always had by copying those around him.
During the summer holidays just before Tom was to go into his fifth year at Hogwarts, he was arrested, along with his brother, by the muggle police in connection with his father's dodgy car dealings. He was issued with a court order and an asbo but that was later withdrawn when it became clear he wasn't involved. He missed three months of school in that time, not being able to venture far from the estate and living under a strict curfew. With his dad behind bars and his education suffering further, he dropped out of Hogwarts and took the decision to follow his father's wishes and join the army. It was a decision he would later live to regret when his application was rejected on the grounds of 'severe Dyslexia', 'behavioural problems' and a past criminal record.
Back at Hogwarts on his mother's insistence after missing a year, Tom is repeating his fifth year. His brother has provided him with spell checking quills and aids to help him combat his Dyslexia in his Owl year.
Personality
He's a bit of a lone wolf is young Thomas. He is fiercely independent , but this may be because he struggles to find people to relate to who aren't from the council estate he lives on. His exterior is rough looking and this, together with his thick accent tends to alienate him from others. On first meetings with Tom, he can seem brash, loud, and even a little obnoxious.
He can be a little hard to handle if he disagrees with something, or feels he is being treated unfairly. He doesn't like being told what to do, and he'll let you know loud and clear if he's unhappy about something. He finds it difficult to hold back his temper and woe betide anyone on the receiving end! He is blunt and can be potty mouthed very coarse in his use of language.
But peel back the layers, and Thomas is a genuinely loving and caring boy. He may be slow to trust, but if he does trust you, he is a great friend to have around. Loyal to the core, and brave, he'll stick up for you in a heartbeat without worrying about the consequences to himself.
Despite his brash and rough persona (which is really the result of being uneducated and having a limited vocabulary), Tom is quite a vulnerable boy. He lacks confidence in himself and feels he is unworthy and below everyone around him. If he is let down by a friend, he tends to get hurt deeply and finds it very hard to forgive.
Tom is extremely visual, and that's how he learns: through watching and doing. His memory is good to compensate for his inability to take notes in class. Tom may struggle academically, and may seem ignorant and unintelligent to others, but his IQ, unbeknownst to him, is above average. This is the main reason he gets annoyed and irritable so easily – his frustration with not being able to express himself properly with words. Thankfully, he was blessed with artistic ability. He is a gifted artist and, like many dyslexics, sees the world in a different way to others. He can see colour and beauty where others may not, and he translates it to canvas beautifully.
Appearance
Tom bears a strong resemblance to his older brother, although his features are not quite so symmetrical and striking. His dark hair is cropped very short, his skin is lightly tanned and he has a a sprinkling of freckles on his nose. His posture is APPAULING: slouched, shoulders hunched and his hands are usually in his pockets. He often wears a scowl on his face, a warning to people not to come near.
