Just behind the Groundskeeper's Hut you will find a mini golf course. There are eighteen holes, all of varying degrees of difficulty. And each week the course changes. So come down and try hitting the ball through windmills, pyramids and over bridges of water.
SPOILER!!: Instructions
How to Play
Mini golf courses have 18 marked lanes that are numbered. Players must complete each hole in number order without skipping any hole. According to Play Mini Golf, using their putter, players are required to putt the golf ball from the tee area and straight into the hole. The objective is to make it into each hole on the course in as few shots or strokes as possible. According to Play Mini Golf, every stroke taken counts as a point. If, after six strokes, the ball has not been holed, one more point is added to the total. A player cannot total more than seven points on any one hole. The player with the fewest strokes by the end of the round wins.
Rules
1. The golf club provided is called a putter. It is used for tapping the ball with, NOT to be used as a weapon. Do NOT hit anyone with the putter.
2. Do NOT use the putter as a shovel and try and dig up the ground with it.
3. NO sword fighting with the putters. It may sound stupid but I have seen people do it.
4. The ball should be tapped lightly with the putter. Do NOT whack the ball.
5. The mini golf course is here for your enjoyment so please take care of the equipment. Any damages and you can expect the repairs to come out of your pocket.
Please ensure that you read all the rules and abide by them. If you are caught breaking any of these rules, you will suffer points being deducted from your house and in some instances you could also find yourself in detention.

NO. WAY.
So not only did Hogwarts have a hot spring now, but a mini golf course too?! Edric wasn't easily excited. Actually, he was never excited. But, for an outstanding 3 consecutive seconds, the boy actually felt a hint of excitement in his chest as he stumbled upon the mini golf course.
Hogwarts was beginning to feel more like a resort than a school. And he wasn't going to complain about that. Surprisingly.
Grabbing a putter from somewhere, IDK where, Edric walked up to the first lane. There was no one around, so therefore no one to compete with. Which automatically made him the winner. Right?

This...was the last thing Penelope had expected to see when she decided to explore the grounds that day. It was only a mini golf course, not a huge one, but still, it reminded her of summer. And Jake. And that was the last thing she wanted to think about right now. Actually, not even the last thing - she didn't want to think about it at all. So she should probably leave and ignore this part of the grounds.
Though...it was kinda tempting to try it out...it looked fun. If only she had someone to play with.

Arabella-Marie was just exploring the grounds and came across a mini golf course and thought would this could be fun and wondered whether anybody was going to play the game
Dylan couldn't believe his eyes here in school they had that muggle ball and stick game! He had heard about this from his mom's muggle husband (yeah his step-father but DJ doesn't call him that). They called it.. gol.. golf right? yeah that's what they called it. He walked up and read the rules.. seemed simple enough now time to have a go at this muggle game.
He walked up and grabbed a stick.. what did they call this.. ahh yes the pu.. putter, picked a good looking ball and set it down and got ready to hit it into that said hole over there. This was hole one... he looked at the hole and then he hit the ball but having never played this game it obviously missed the hole, so he went and collected the ball and put it back where it should be put.

Elodie was ecstatic. She'd heard someone mention that there were some new things down in the grounds, and therefore - she had needed to come and try them out. Like a good student. Because if it was unsafe, then SHE could be saving lives you know? Exactly.
And lo and behold, here it was. A FREAKING GOLF COURSE THING.
Now, Elodie was no world champion at the sport, and she knew she never would be, but holy moly was she excited!!! Taking a club, or a putter or a ball hitter thing, Els leant it against her shoulder - all pro-like, and headed towards hole one. There was already a person there, so she grinned at them, and waggled her fingers. "Hi!" They could play together. Yep.

Duckiiiieees~! Be prepared cause big brother is HOOOOME!
Daichi literally ran at full speed out of the castle and towards the place where the previous two years had been his home. The duck pond. He couldn't wait to see his best friend again, Floppy the duck and tell her aaaalll about what he had done during the summer.
With a bright smile and twinkling eyes, the Slytherin made a short cut and went through the bushes. Expecting to see a pond where all the cute little duckies were swimming he pushed a bush aside aaaaaaaandddd.....
Wait...where....where ...WHERE WAS HIS FAMILY!?
He was sure that the pond was here! it HAD to be! With wide open shocked eyes and open hanging mouth the Snake walked over the golf course until he saw the number 1 lane. Noticing a boy holding something strange in his hand, Daichi went to him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey! you know where the duck pond is? i think i'm lost but i am SURE that it was here! whatsgoingooon?!"

This was confusing him!
Edric had bent over slightly, holding the putter tightly in his hands. Aw yeah. He SO had this. He closed one eye and kept the other open, aiming at the golf ball when-- SOMEKIDJUSTAPPEAREDOUTOFNOWHERE!!!!!!!!
In his surprise at the unexpected arrival of another human being, Edric accidentally hit the golf ball with full force, causing it to hit a large nearby rock and then bounce right back toward the boys. The ball was just about to hit his shoulder, but the Gryffindor managed to jump out of the way in time.
With fiery eyes but a surprisingly controlled voice, Edric turned to the newcomer and spoke, "You can't just sneak up on people like that. Especially when they're in the middle of something." <__________<
Anyway.
What did he want?
Oh right, the duck pond.
Edric shrugged. "It's not here anymore. I think I heard something during the train ride, about the school taking all the ducks and cooking them for the feast. Didn't you see? The pond's a hot spring now." Of course, this was just a lie. Edric just had a bad habit of liking to troll and crush people's spirits. Ever the little Grinchboy.

Daichi jumped a little in surprise when the older guy suddenly hit a ball and it went flying away. His eyes followed the ball and as it hit a rock and bounced back not only the guy hitting the ball managed to get away without being hit but Daichi as well.
He had not been a chaser in the Slytherin in his first and second year for nothing! He had SKILLZZZ!
But back to business... His gaze went to the other and gulped as he saw that look and a faint blush appeared on his cheeks. Did...did he made him angry? "i-i'm sorry...it's just...i wanted to know...and...sorry"
Bleeeh!
Not here anymore? Yeah well DUH! other wise he wouldn't have asked right? He just wanted to know where the pond was now. But as he heard that there was no duck pond anymore, the Slytherin literally froze on the spot.
His already pale skin turned even paler for a second and he had gasped loudly. "No...duck...pond..." he spoke in disbelieve and he whimpered a little when he said that the ducks were served during the feast....
"You're lying right? Please say you're lying!" He choked, tears already forming in his chocolate brown eyes. "Floppy HAS to be okay!"

Dylan was kind of having fun even though he had just missed the hole and was about to try for the hole again, he just wanted to get the ball into the hole again. So he put the ball back where he needed it on the putting area ready to put the ball in the hole, cause this time he didn't want to miss the hole this time he wanted to get it into the hole. He was about to go for a second put when he heard someone talk to him he looked round to see a girl.
He gave a nod "Hey.. you play this game?" he asked wondering if she had played this game before. He saw her waggle her fingers.. ok so maybe she wanted them to play together. He moved out of the way and pointed to the putting area "You can go next" he just wanted to see if this girl was good or anything.

AND A HOT SPRING?! His life was over now!
Edric listened mercilessly as the weird boy began to apologize, his expression remaining cold and stony. However, as the mystery boy's eyes began to fill up with - what was that? Tears?! - Edric's expression softened slightly. Oh gawd, he wasn't gonna start crying, was he?! Edric had a bad enough reputation of being a cold, heartless ogre. He didn't need a crying boy to add on to it.
"Alright, alright," muttered Edric in defeat. "I was joking. The ducks weren't roasted." Pause. "But I really don't know what happened to them. I'm sure the school put them back in a much nicer pond somewhere by a mountain. And, er, 'Floppy' is probably filling up on more bread than he could've ever dreamed of."
Taylor smiled as she dragged walked with Maxwell to the new minigolf course at Hogwarts. She never played it before so she hoped that Maxwell could at least help her out. Tay would of asked Damon but... yeah not a good idea since they were broken up just recently... it was a confusing break-up that she didnt get but it was still a break up so she was making Maxwell go with her today instead, hoping he didnt mind hanging around her at least for however long it takes to do a game of mini-golfing.

Maxwell was being forced to play Mini Golf by his sister, although he kinda owed her since it was she who got him out of his funk over the summer and cheered him up, so as much as he didn't want to go he went with a smile on his face. "So you've never played Mini Golf before?" He asked.

Tay looked up at him, "Thanks for coming with me." She smiled sweetly, "You are the best brother, ya know?" Taylor laughed then nodded, "Yeah... this will be the first time... have you played it?" Tay had just assumed that he had, "Isnt it a muggle thing anyways?" She raised an eyebrow and glanced at the course. It looked a bit confusing so she glanced at the rules and was still confused. Taylor looked up at Maxwell again and hoped that he had played it so he could teach her.

Tay chuckled and smiled, "You might think that but I havent kept count." She hugged him and kissed his cheek, "We help each other out... thank you for putting up with me today... I mean I know you just came out of a break-up... and now you have your crazy sister, moping around a little and making you play mini-golfing with her." Taylor tried to give a smile but only was able to give a half of one. "That is good that you have played it... I thought so... I mean if it had been a wizarding game, I would of known it but I hardly know anything about muggle games... or anything about muggles for that matter." Tay listened to what he said was the rules and nodded, "Okay... doesnt seem to hard..." She glanced at the course then got a putter and a ball.

Maxwell smiled. "Well, i remember someone doing the same for me not too long ago. So anytime you need someone to hang out with, I'm here." He said taking a ball and putter. "It's not hard at all, it's actually kinda easy." He walked with her to the first hole. "So why didn't you ever spend much time in the muggle world?" He asked.

Tay smiled, "Okay, I will remember that." She walked with him to the first hole, and she gestured for him to start first. "Pretty easy? Okay, sounds fun then." Taylor laughed and stretched as she glanced at the first hole. "Dad always hated muggles and their world and when Mom came into the picture, she was too afraid to let us go because of Dad and also because of Grandma... I guess partly because of Matthew too... but I dont know about that..." Tay sighed, "The one time that she allowed me to go with Henry, Henry took me to a farm..." Taylor shuttered, "or at least I think that is what the muggles called it... anyways, it had rained so there was mud puddles everywhere and for some odd reason... a chicken... I think that is what they called that... creature..." Again Tay shuttered, "but anyways that thing chased me and I slipped, landing in a mud puddle and the creature started to peck me to death... so I try to avoid the muggle world after that."

Maxwell took his first swing at it, he tapped the ball and gave it a little too much so that the ball rolled right over the whole, he gave it a lighter tap and this time got the ball in. "Well, the muggle world's not that bad. In fact it's a lot of fun and i promise there aren't chickens running about, in fact there aren't a lot of farms out there. Would you ever consider going back?" He asked thinking it might be fun to take her.

Tay watched Maxwell get the shot in two strokes then tried to do the same but it took her three strokes. "Okay... I guess since there isnt much farms out there that I would consider going back to it for maybe a day." Taylor looked up at her brother, "If you are my guide that is." She laughed and smiled at him, picking up their balls and hanging Maxwell his. "I mean, maybe, it would be better with a better guide."

Maxwell nodded and accepted his golf ball. "Of course i'd be your guide, and i wouldn't take you to a farm they're so boring. Maybe like a city, but not new york or london, something different." He said thinking. He walked to the next hole and actually made a lucky shot, only using one stroke.

Tay nodded, "Good." She smiled, "That they are." Taylor laughed, "That sounds nice." Tay twirled in happiness as her brother got a hole-in-one. "Fantastic job!" She tapped her ball and after two times it went in as well. Taylor retrieved the balls and handed Maxwell's his as well.

Maxwell smiled. "Thanks, it was just luck. But you're not doing bad for a first timer." He said accepting his ball and walking to the third hole. This one was a bit more complicated and took him three strokes.

Tay smiled, "Yeah, I guess it is." She looked at him, "I'm not?" Taylor accidently slipped, knocking the ball in the hole with her putter on the first time but bruising her foot at the same time.
