Zhenya was quite excited to get to Hogwarts. Maybe Raven would be there?

She skipped into the Great Hall, happy to see her. Surely she would be back. Why wouldn't she? She took a seat somewhere near the end of the table so that she would have a good view of the doors. But with every minute, she got more and more doubtful that she would be there today. Where was she?

Zhenya crossed her arms on the table and rested her head on them. She was so tired and all she wanted to do was eat and go to bed.

She sat down at her house table away from the others. She thought to herself quietly.

Ahh, it felt good to be back at Hogwarts. Sitting at the table, Kimalia knew pretty soon her house will be getting some lucky new snakes, and to her advantage, some potential flying snakes for the Quidditch team. So she quietly sipped her water goblet as more people arrived.

Adarian walked into the huge hall and looked around in awe. What a big place! Here was his House table he supposed. Slytherin. It certainly seemed to fit. Only time would tell. He sat down in an area not too occupied. Here goes nothing he thought.

Seeing possibly the biggest and most beautiful table ever Ellowyn sat down close to the end. She'd find Daichi somehow in the coming mess of the feast, he had to spend time with some returning friends before she asked him anything else of course.
She sat patiently for a bit seeing if anyone would come sit by her, but after a while rested her head on her hands and gazed up at the thousands of floating candles above her disappearing into the starry sky. She had just found Cassiopeia when her stomach growled.

Hogwarts.. FINALLY!

The blonde guy was quiet amazed with this castle. It was very.. old and ancient. It's quiet different from his former school in Salem. The sorting hat ceremony was quiet unique too. After he was sorted to Slytherin, Gary walked to the Slytherin house table.

So.. Slytherin. He remembered that Aurora and his boyfriend were in Slytherin. The cute, little girl who he had met at food trolley was a Slytherin too. Did he see her? Wait. Why he should look for her, by the way?

The term has started, so time to mingle to others, right! He just hoped that his life in Hogwarts will be awesome, though he missed Salem and his gank.. and also Quidditch. Sigh. He sat alone at the corner of table, waiting for the food. He was very hungry!

"Is there anyone knew when the food will come?" suddenly he asked.

Zhenya's head snapped up as she realised more people were coming in. Was she one of them? no, no, no, no, she thought, looking at all the faces.

And... there was Gary. Ahh, so he was in Slytherin? Zhenya had a feeling he might be. He was... a prankster and cunning. Well, he had been the previous times they had met anyway.

Food? Oh yeah, it was a feast. "Soon I imagine," Zhenya said quietly, and heard her stomach growl as well.

Kennedy Escalante made his way to the table decorated in green and silver. Sigh. Finally, some normalcy. He grinned at the prospect of waking up tomorrow in the boys dorm, on the bed he had claimed his fourth year. Yeah, that sounded really nice.

His green eyes automatically searched for a certain red headed girl, but after what happened on the train he'd rather keep his distance. Not because he was angry with her, but because he didn't want to risk another argument. Especially not in the Great Hall where first years were being sorted. What kind of Prefect would he be if he showed a bad example? Not a good one.

So, with a slight shake of his head, he walked faster to the Slytherin table. When he got there everyone was so...quiet. Granted, he wasn't in the best of moods right now, but his snakes needed to look more alive...alert. Excited. He approached the center of the table. How should he do this? Greet everyone one by one? All as a group? Should he just not say anything?

...but...it was TOO quiet.

Inhaling a deep breath, Kennedy puffed his chest out and smile at the growing population of snakes. "Hey, everyone!" he said, waving...at everyone. "To those who are new welcome to Slytherin," he grinned, though his cheeks were tinting slightly red. He wasn't used to THIS, but they needed to look more alive. "And to our veterans welcome back to Hogwarts." THIS all had a purpose, and he hoped for Merlin's sake it would work through out the term.

You know, start off the year as an energetic group.

Snakes might not roar, but they sure could HIIIISSSSSSS.

Ariana walked into the Great hall it was great to be back, she enjoyed the summer with her aunt, even if Rowan her new boyfriend who just so happens to be her best friends, step-sister's, cousin's, brother was there all the time. Ariana couldnt wait to get back to hogwarts, to the witches, and wizards and magical feasts, it was all that she longed for and all that she needed. she couldnt wait to torment lafay again maybe. or maybe branch out to another teacher. Ariana Took her usual spot which she sat in everyday since first year and waited for the firsties & transfer's to be sorted.

Oi kennedy, ariana figured she'd start this year ovver with him since last year every encounter they had was Not Good. "Hi Kennedy, Welcome back." she said and flashed her fake smile, blushed her black her with it's red streaks out of her face, so hopefully he'd remember her since she had changed A LOT over the summer "Oi, You've gotten taller." she said realized how different he looked since last year.

Zhenya loved the new sparkling of Prefect and Head boy/girl badges. One had just caught her eye too!

"Welcome back yourself!" Zhenya said happily. Well, he needed a welcoming too, didn't he?

Adarian laughed lightly at this Prefects entrance and announcement. The Slytherin table was too quiet. So Adarian spoke up while rising from his seat, "Hey there my name is Adarian Hunter. Obviously a first year. I look forward to getting to know yall" he finished with a slight southern drawl. He flicked his pale blue eyes up and down the table. Then sat down a little embarrassed.

She smirked, it was that tiny kid she met at the station,"Have a good year firstie." She said in a nonchalant way.

Ariana Couldnt help but chuckle at the First year "Well, someone's excited to be here." she said in her usual british accent while rolling her eyes.

He looked at her then a light bulb went off. "Hi. Butterfly right? It's nice to see a semi familiar face atleast."


Adarian then looked over at the other girl who was rolling her eyes. "Sorry maybe I am a little excited." He looked away, cheeks flaming. Man what a dorko he was being. 'Great first impression lamesauce' he told himself.

She gigged,"Better than my firstie impression. Still good to see another southern accent 'round here." She said letting her own show since it was usually hidden from people.

The table was a tad too silent for what she had expected. Some older kids had started talking, making the place a little livelier, and a boy who looked her age had stood up and introduced himself, and was now looking a little embarrassed.

Waaaay too much of a wimp for that, Elle settled on trying to make his face a little less red. She scooted up to him, "Hey there, mind if I sit here?" She smiled and stuck out her hand in his direction.

Ariana Looked at the boy, "you'll learn soo enough that it's just school and you'll hate it just like any other school. it has it's perks but it's just school." Ariana said while twirling her fork in between her fingers.

Zhenya eyed the new face, so small, before cracking a smile. Well, it was nice to see that SOME people were glad to be here.

Overhearing his name, she spoke up, "Hi Adarian! I'm Zhenya, third year," she said with a smile.

"The school itself is not the part to hate, it's most of the classes." She said while rolling her eyes.

His eyebrow perked up at her accent. "Well I'm glad that I wasn't the worst first impression here." He was happy to hear that accent of hers. It made him feel not so homesick.

Adarian then turned to grasp the hand held out to him. After shaking the girls hand he dropped his own. "Sure you can sit here. I don't mind." He smiled looks like making a fool.of himself had paid off after all.

Gulping a little too much water, she disguised it by breathing deeply. Well, way to go Kennedy. She raised her goblet before setting it down.
"That's right," She now felt compelled to say something too, so she stood up to stand near him for support, "We're all in the best house, holding the ambitious and crafty members." Oh yeah, her main reason for standing as a Captain. "Soo, show your support and feel free to sign up or root for your fellow Snake's Quidditch team." Smiling sweetly before finishing. "Captain's orders." Hehe.

Her cheeks went a little pink after she realized she completely forgot to even say her name after they dropped hands. "Ha, my name's Ellowyn by the way, but you can call me whatever you'd like I guess." Introductions were horrible, the absolute worst part of friendships, but necessary of course.
Her stomach growled again before she awkwardly laughed and covered it with her hands. "Oh man I'm starved, why can't this go any faster!"

Not late!

Stopping for a moment to breathe after running all around the castle on her way to the Great Hall, Nora walked over to the table in green and silver, while she couldn't help but look around, having truly missed the place. She saw several more or less familiar faces, but decided to just sit quietly unless spoken to.

With a glance over the long table, she also noticed that there was no food, which meant that they still had to wait for the Headmaster's speech and all. Nora only hoped that her stomach won't start a symphony in there.
