The glittering night sky is clear and visible through the enchanted ceiling, and the floating candles bedeck the entire hall in a warm golden light. All seems well with the world, aside from the empty plates still waiting for food to appear.
Laura was the first to arrive at the table well that was weird but anyway she didn't care, she sat down and looked around hoping to see Sophie, Ella or Carigan because she wanted to know if her three bestie's wanted to have a sleep over at her house also she needed to speak to the COMC Professor as he still had her owl, hopefully it was better now.
Another year gone, already? Wow! Life was moving so quick and it was scary to think that. Every minute, every day, every year was just flying by within the blink of an eye. Time sure did fly, faster than you expected it to.
Deciding she'd rather pack her things later, Renesmee headed over to the great hall a little earlier than usual. It was fairly empty, yet there were still a few students here and there. Nessie eyed the Gryffindor table trying to see if there was anybody she knew over there. She did recognize a few of the faces, but no one she really needed to talk to was there. So off she went to her own house table instead, taking a seat in one of the middle seats. She was the second person from her house there and it felt just a little awkward sitting on her own like she did.
Where was everyone? She wasn't that early was she?
Nessie eyed her watch and pouted as she still saw no sign of any other Badgers coming. They were probably busy packing or something it was the only thing that could make sense.
Looking up at the staff table, Nessie began searching for a certain Professor. She beamed when she saw him, but then looked away realizing how foolish this whole thing was. She needed to face reallity. Professor Williamson, one had a girlfriend, two was way older than her and three it was just never gonna happen. There were more important things she wanted to think about anyways. Like what she'd be doing these holidays. She had nothing planned and she didn't want to be bored all summer long. So now tapping her fingers on the table, Renesmee went into a daze as she began to think about her summer ahead.

Cassia left her chair and was heading towards the Ravenclaw table to say goodbye to Gwen. However, she got dragged by the current of people in the other direction. And as she was short and small she found herself getting further from the Ravies' table. After finally being able to stand and walk probably and not pushed by other older students. She looked around her and glanced the students' ties. She was at the Hufflepuffs' table. Well, might as well she walk seeing if she should say goodbye to someone.

Nate walked over to the house table for the end of term feast. He then saw Laura, and realized he didn't get to ask her what he wanted to say. Luckily he had it written down on a piece of paper. So he walked past her, and stuck the note in front of her face down.
SPOILER!!: note

Will you go out with me?

After that he walked over to a different part of the table not o far from her though.
He waited for everyone else in his house to arrive so then he could say goodbye. Because he wouldn't see them until next term. Except Oakey who would take him to his house after they left because the rest of Nate's family was busy. After that he looked at Laura waiting for her response
Well… she still had enough time left to look for her friends before the Headmaster would give his speech. So, as soon as she paid a visit to her house table, the fourth year headed over to the Hufflepuff one, willing to say goodbye to her badger friends. While approaching the table with hasty steps, the girl gave a quick look around, hoping she would be able to spot any familiar faces there.
Hmmm…
Maybe she should go back… It looked like Jory wasn’t there yet and the fourth year couldn’t recognize anyone else yet. Meh. She could go at another table and come back here later… Hmm. Though Gwen gave another quick look around, just to make sure if she should leave…

It didn’t take her long before she managed to spot Laura. ‘Hi!’, Gwendolyn waved at the girl and started walking in that direction. ‘How are you?’, she asked her simply as she waited to take a seat. Was Laura waiting for someone there? Was she bothering the girl? Gwen waited for some sort of a reaction from the girl before joining her at the table.

Hopefully it wouldn't be so boring after all.
Ah. And there was someone else she knew…
What was her name, again?
Gwen remained silent for a moment, trying to figure out who that girl was. Gwen was only certain that they had met… Right. At that kite making station… ‘Hello’, the fourth year greeted the girl as she approached the place where she was sitting. And she managed to remember who it was- Nessie, right? Mhm. That was probably correct.
‘Looking forward to the summer?’, the Ravenclaw asked her. She herself had already made a few plans with her friends- going to France with Ari, though the two of them were still discussing if they should be going to muggle France or not. Gwendolyn sure did prefer the wizarding world and hoped her friend would agree. And she had to meet Ronnie, since they made plans a few days ago…
Hmm. Other than that, Gwen was hoping she would meet her friends on Diagon Alley over the summer. She always found it hard to catch up with everyone at the beginning of the term. Hopefully things would be different this time…
Gwendolyn gave another quick look around, just to see if Eve was around. Since the girl was graduating, the Ravenclaw wanted to say goodbye to her. But no… Looks like she wasn’t at the Hufflepuff house table yet, so the fourth year drew her attention back at Nessie.

Tick tock. Tick Tock.
Renesmee eyed the watch on her wrist. Where was everybody? She was beginning to worry. It was then she saw a firstbie looking girl come sit over at the Hufflepuff table. She pouted as she noticed the girls uniform was all green. Slytherin..mehh. Most likely rude like the rest of them, or at least that's what Nessie thought.
With a small sigh, Ness got from her seat and went over to the snake. She wasn't too happy about being this close to a Slytherin she did not know at all, but she wanted to ask if maybe this girl had seen some of the Hufflepuff's. From what Ness had heard the Snakes dorms were some where near the badgers.
"Um...excuse me? Have you seen any of the other erm..Hufflepuffs?" she bit her lip scanning the hall once more. Still yet no sign of her fellow house mates.

Still tapping her fingers on the table, Nessie continued to scan the room looking for somebody she knew.
WHAAA! WHO WAS THAT??
It was when somebody close by said hello, that she almost jumped out of her skin from fright. She turned around to see that it was only Gwen..the girl she had met at the kite event. It was the clever girl that as expected was a Ravenclaw. Renesmee's surprize face was replaced with a small smile as she realized she could calm down.
"Hey, Gwen right?" she said as she gestured for the girl to take a seat by her. It was good to have some sort of company now, seeing as not even Puffles was with her today.
Summer...wow. Was Ness looking forward to it? Yes..maybe not too much, but it wasn't something she was dreading. She was just unsure of what she was doing exactly. She wanted to go back to South Africa for a while, but she wasn't sure if that was possible, and so her second option was to go to France to visit her cousins, with her third option being staying at home and waiting for her bestie to apear out of nowhere seeing as he had been missing a while now. Mehh...she'd have to do something. She'd need a distraction this holiday so she wouldn't have to think about Thomas too much.
The red head scanned the room yet again, this time noticing Keefer had arrived. She made a mental note to go over to him later, but for now she turned her attention back to Gwen.
"Yeah I suppose you could say I am, not that I know exactly what I'm doing." she continued to beam at the Ravvie. "And you?" she asked. "What you've got planned for the holidays?"
Surely this girl had something more exciting planned.

Alyssa sat at her house table in the Great Hall. She had mixed feelings about the End of Feast this term. On one hand she had missed her family and was looking forward to seeing them again but on the other hand, more of her friends were leaving school and she wouldn't be seeing them again. She sighed when she saw Keefer. He was one of those that were leaving. Alyssa got off her seat and went to him. She was trying not to cry.
"Hi Keefer. Isn't this awesome? We won the House Cup AND the Gobstobes Cup again this term." Alyssa smiled at him. "Anyway, I just wanted to wish you all the best and that it was an honor playing with you in the Quidditch team. I will miss not having you around to boss us." Alyssa told him.
'I will not cry....I will not cry.' Alyssa kept telling herself. So she quickly changed the subject.
"SO....what are your plans for the future? Any plans to play Professional Quodditch?" Alyssa blurted out the first question that came to mind.

Alec walked down to the Great Hall, a big grin spread across his face. It was the end of the year and yeah, this was all sad, but this meant that summer was just around the corner! And summer meant ice cream! And lots of it!
Yeah, this made Alec happy!
As he walked into the Great Hall, his eyes immediately fell on the Gryffindor Table and any signs of his favourite person in the world. ... Keefer.
The second year stopped and blinked at the boy. It was just as he was standing at the spot that he realised that this was Keefer's last year at Hogwarts. He, Alec, wasn't going to be able to talk to the boy face-to-face at the school anymore. This... made Alec sad.
The young Hufflepuff walked up to his mentor and sat down next to him. Keefer was like the older brother he wished he had and now... would they even talk that much afterwards? What if they stopped talking altogether? What would happen then?
Sad, this was.
"Do you... do you have to leave?" he whispered, looking up at the redheaded Captain.

This... was something Alec didn't understand. Usually, there were a lot of people at the table! He remembered the opening feast during his first year and how crowded it was. It was sad to see that now, not many people had come down. Sad.
As Alec looked around at the people at the table, his eyes landed on Lyss. The young boy gave the girl a small smile and a wave. It was probably a good thing that Lyss wasn't going either. Yeah. Very good!
"Hey Lyss! Enjoying the feast?" he asked, folding his arms across his chest and resting them on the table.

Annabelle recognized Alec and didn't know him personally but always saw him around. Belle sat down next to him and thought she should introduce herself. "Hi I am Annabelle! I have seen you around but never got the courage to say hi." she said with a little smile and blushing. She hated to sound akward in front of people.
End of Term Feast was always awesome! That meant Sophie was about to see her parents and the rest of her family and aaalll!!! And she LOVED this idea! Sure, she wouldn't be seeing her friends for a little while - not that long, though, since she'd meet the closest ones during summer anyway! - but it was only a for a few weeks!
That's right, Sophie was HAPPY and skipped her way to the Hufflepuff table. That had been such a GREAT term! The second year was impressed by how it had been better than her first year at Hogwarts. She thought that would be impossible!!
She couldn't wait to next term now!
There was Laura! And Nate over there... and Keefer, Alyssa, Alec! And obviously, some people from other houses - the ALWAYS had people from other houses at their table, hah!
"HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOO, EVERYONE!!" She beamed as she spread her arms widely as she smiled to everyone around! "And congratulationssssss" They all did GREEAT on winning the House Cup!! YAY!

Ella felt a bit weird as she made her way to the Hufflepuff House table. She was really proud of everyone and all their hard work. It had been a really great term and they had come from behind and made up lots and lots of points. This was clearly because they were all super brilliant! BEAM. Course her friends were the most brilliantest of all. And that was why she was feeling weird. Saying goodbye, even if only for a little while, was quite hard for the pretty much third year second year. She wasn't looking forward to it. No matter how much she missed her dad, brother, and gran.
The second year smiled as she spotted several familiar faces at the table, waving at them all. "Hello guys, great day to be a badger, yeah?" And she giggled before plopping down next to Sophie. Her eyes traveled over to Keefer and rested there for a minute, the tiniest of frowns on her face. This would be the last time she'd see him, yeah? Well except maybe if she saw him in Diagon Alley. This made her feel quite sad. She tried not to let it show, though. This was mean to be a celebration, right? "So, everyone excited for summer?" She asked, pulling a goblet towards her and taking a sip of water.
Nate watched as many of his fellow Hufflepuff friends came in to the great hall and sat down at the house table. "Hi Sophie, Alec, Ella, Alyssa, Keefer, and Renesmee. Wow that's a lot of people I just said hi to." After stating that he lauged a bit. "So how have you all been? Have any plans for the summer?" He stated aloud once again.
Carigan burst into the great hall screaming "Badger pride! Badger pride!" and she nearly ran past her three best friends who were sitting at the Huflepuff table and she made a u-turn and popped herself onto the bench next to Laura.
"Hello ladies!" she said with a big smile on her face. Even this head ache that had lasted the past week couldn't keep her from being excited! Hufflepuff won the house cup, which was AWESOME. But of course as another sharp burst of pain went through her temples and between her eyes she winced, but kept her smile.
Nate walked over to the house table for the end of term feast. He then saw Laura, and realized he didn't get to ask her what he wanted to say. Luckily he had it written down on a piece of paper. So he walked past her, and stuck the note in front of her face down.

Laura was sitting down just thinking about something when Nate came by and dropped a note faced down, now that was odd, why was he acting like that and why hadn't he said anything to her, that really upset her, was he mad with her or was he scared of her or something like that.
Turning the note over she stared at, he wanted to know if she wanted to go out with him OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH what was she suppost to do here, how was she suppost to act, hopefully one of her bestie would have an idea but where were they.

How has this happened! WHAT HAPPENED. Like... woah. Carigans eyes were wide, and she forgot about the pounding behind her eyes. Then she thought hang on we're twelve... woah.

"Oh hi Alec. Yeah I always love the feast. This is the only time I get to pig out. At the start of the feast I'm too busy to eat because I'm catching up with everyone." Alyssa smiled at him.

Harvey entered the Great Hall and out of habit went straight over to the puff table and started walking down the table before he realised where he was. He looked around and saw that two people werent there yet so he was about to leave when his eyes fell on Ella his new best friend. He watched as she conversed with her fellow puffs and was at a crossroads should he leave since she hadnt seen him or should he join her, after some time of thinking he decided to just go over and say Hi before he would head over to his table. It would be rude not to say hi at least.. so he walked over to her "Hey Ella.. how you doing? All packed and ready?" he asked as he remembered her reason for cutting their hang out time short. He wasnt ready he still had a few bits to throw in.. he couldnt wait to get home to see some special stuff he had sent home so that they wouldnt break here at school.

Just then Ella went back to searching the surrounding tables, wondering if she could spot Edric and perhaps a certain Ravenclaw boy. Her attention was then grabbed by Laura mentioning her name. "Right here, Laura." Ells said with a wave. "What's up?" And what was that paper Laura was holding? Hmmm...

Ella continued to watch her friends curiously, wondering what was up, when she heard a voice that caused her smile to grow noticeably brighter. She turned and was pleased to find Harvey standing there. "Harvs!" She said brightly, spinning her body around to face him. "I'm good. Just enjoying all the Hufflepuff decorations." Cue Ella's arms waving around to showcase the lovely house colors displayed all over. "It took forever but I'm packed. It was quite a lot of work, actually..." Mostly because Ella didn't really want to return home. "How are you? All packed as well?" Oh and... "Want to sit?"

The first person to approach the Captain was Alyssa. "Hey, Lyss. Yeah, it's great! I mean," he amended quickly, "it would've been great to three-peat again, you know with Quidditch." Or, more accurately, especially with Quidditch. "Don't get me wrong, I'm still extremely pleased. Great work on the Gobstones, by the way. Keep our side strong next term for me, will ya?"
"Oh, well thanks. It was great playing with you as well." He chuckled a bit. "I'll miss not doing the bossing!" But then she brought up the dreaded question he was sure he would get multiple times tonight, though that didn't make it any easier to handle. "Well, I'm not sure yet, to be honest. But I'm sure I'll figure something out."

Yeah, this made Alec happy!
As he walked into the Great Hall, his eyes immediately fell on the Gryffindor Table and any signs of his favourite person in the world. But, there wasn't any sign of a flock of brown hair which looked really smooth and seemed to shine in the light so... he would just head over to the Hufflepuffs instead. Yeah.
The second year turned his head and walked to the yellow table. There weren't really many people he knew at this table. It looked emptier than the other tables which... made Alec a bit sad. He was in the mood to talk to lots of people! He continued walking down the table until he saw...
... Keefer.
The second year stopped and blinked at the boy. It was just as he was standing at the spot that he realized that this was Keefer's last year at Hogwarts.
Keefer felt a slight thud next to him on the worn wooden bench. Without even looking, Keefer knew who it was. A feeling of warmth spread through the seventh year. Keefer prepared to return a warm greeting, but was disarmed by the small whisper he heard. The defeated, pleading tone frightened him momentarily, but he steeled himself and tried to boost the boy's spirit.
"Well, yeah bud, I do. But," cue the hair ruffle, "that doesn't mean you can't come hang out this summer, play a bit of Quidditch or something." He smiled. "And write me whenever you need advice." He craned his neck looking for Anya over at the Gryffindor table. "You know, on whatever you come up with." He gave the Seeker a knowing wink.

Then he heard another familiarly awesome voice. "Hey, Ella! And yeah, it is! But isn't every day?" he quipped. But as for her next sentence... He would pass on that for now.

"What's up, Nate? And the more the merrier!" Well, not always, but definitely in this case. "We've been good, man! We won the Cup!" But once again, Keefer passed on the summer plans question.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
Oakey came into the Great Hall and gazed up at all the Yellow decorating it again. It was awesome that they had a received the House Cup again. Without thinking he took a seat right beside Laura. Whom he had just confessed his love to in the stands during the Quidditch Finals. He felt that he had accidentally said it only to remove Laura from himself, but he couldn't deny that he did feel something for her and why not test the waters. Especially since he may not survive this upcoming summer break.

The way she reacted to seeing him told Harvey that he made a good decision by coming here to say Hi.. he was glad to hear that she was good as he looked at all the decorations "[b]Yes.. its good to see that color up there.. looks good![b]" he smiled as he looked at her answering his second question "Thats good.. glad to hear that you are all packed.. didnt want to have to become 'serious Harvey' on you cause of that" he chuckled as she asked him the same questions back "I am .... good too.. well.. erm.. mostly packed?.. just need to throw in a few last minute items." he said as he tried to wonder exactly how much he had left to pack.. when she asked him if he wanted to sit "Erm.. yeah I guess I can sit.. no-one will mind having me here right?.. Although they should all be used to seeing me here by now" he chuckled. Yeah they all knew that Harvey Watson of Ravenclaw always sat with the puffs and this term was no different.

Professor Williamson dutifully made his way down to the Hufflepuff table, finding the anonymity of being amongst the students a nice chance of pace from sitting up high and being watched watching them all. "Laura?" he called out as he got close, lifting the owl cage up a bit. Her owl spotted her too and started squawking along with the professor.
"You owled." Hehe. Joke. Geddit?
