Ella was hungry. Not that this was anything new really, she was always hungry. She was a growing girl after all. Walking into the great hall, she made her way over to the Hufflepuff table and took a seat, surprised to see that it was not at all crowded. Where were all her fellow puffs anyway? Too busy to eat? She hoped she would have some company soon but in the meantime...FOOD.

Grabbing a roll from one of the plates near her, she began to pick out the dough and place it in her mouth, chomping happily. Yum!

jen walked up to the girl and stated.
"I want a tacco"

Adrianna was starving. She pulled her hair back into a tight ponytail, making her way over to the Hufflepuff table to find something to snack on. She knew that if she wasn't a Slytherin, she'd most likely be a Hufflepuff. Hufflepuffs were nice and, obviously, from the Hufflepuffs she had met, loved sweets. And she got along well with all of them.

FOOD! MORE FOOD! Carson needed MORE FOOD! As if he hadn't enough already! He wandered into the great hall determined to make new friends and get a bite to eat whilst he was at it. Yeah! Making new friends was a goooooooood idea! A VERY good idea! Mhm! He spotted someone stood by the Hufflepuff table. Was it a bird? Was it an angel? NO! IT WAS AD! AD! AD! AD! He skipped over toward her chirpy determined to start a conversation. No matter how extremely hyper he was. But he'd ran out of chocolate! And gummy worms! And EVERYTHING! Well, he had more in his dorm room, of course, but he wasn't about to run all the way to the dorm just to get whatever it was he wanted. No! He'd just find something off a table and munch away at it. But wasn't it rude to just take off the table of the house you didn't belong to? Surely not! Not if he was there talking to someone!

But he WASN'T talking to someone! Not yet!

He stood in front of Ad, a chirpy smile plastered across his face. If he was honest, he felt a little mischievous. "HEY!" he said still standing in front of Ad. He looked around the table at all the tasty looking food laid out. No ice-cream! NO ICE-CREAM! WHERE WAS THE ICE-CREAM? NO!

Alec was slightly nervous! And what did he do when he was nervous? Eat ice cream! That was why the boy had ran away from his dorm. Seeing his roommate getting nervous for that tryout earlier in the day made him slightly nervous. Had he really been this nervous last year? But last year... he didn't have this pressure piling on top of him.

... This was hard!

But... Ice cream will solve everything wouldn't it? It always did! And it would help him feel less nervous about everything else that was bothering him. And so, Alec found himself walking along the gap between the Gryffindor and the Hufflepuff tables. As a habit, his grey-blue eyes cast around the Gryffindor table, looking for that familiar flock of brown hair. ... Nope, no sign of her.

Shrugging he turned his attention towards the front of the hall where... what? There were two people standing there! And he knew who they were! But... why were they meeting here? At the Hufflepuff table? Wasn't their table on the other side of the Ravenclaw Table? ... Odd.

The thirteen year old ruffled his hair some more as he approached the two. "Having a food party?" ... Yeah, that was his way of introducing himself. Smiling, his eyes looked down at the table and the... no... this can't be true!

Right, that's it, WHO ATE ALL THE ICE CREAM?!

Carson glanced up hearing footsteps! WHO GOES THERE? WHO WAS COMING TO MUNCH ALL THE FOOD? Not that it was his food they were going to eat! He wasn't at the Slytherin table so there was nothing her could do about it. He glanced over at Ad with a mischievous grin on his face. Then glanced at the table, pouting slightly. HE NEEDED ICE-CREAM! NOW! He'd eaten all of gummy worms, well the one's he had and the chocolate had melted. NOT GOOD! BAD CHOCOLATE! And he hadn't spotted any ice-cream! He didn't even have any cookies. So what was he supposed to eat? CHICKEN? NO! NO! NO! That wasn't sweet. That was savoury.

He glanced at the boy making his way toward them. Alec! Was it Alec? It was Alec, right? IT WAS! IT WAS ALEC! Chill. Out! he told himself. But how could he? He was WAY too hyperactive to chill out! There was no chilling out going to happen on this boys watch. No, sir! None at all!

A smirk appeared across his face as Alec got closer. YEP! HE WAS RIGHT! HE KNEW IT! But he felt sorry for Ad. She was going to have two ice-cream lovers at a table with no ice-cream. NO. ICE-CREAM! He needed to get over it. But he couldn't. Someone had eaten it all. It had gone without a trace.

"We would be if I had any sweets left in my pocket to eat" he giggled. Maybe he could summons some?

At the sound of really loud younger kids in her ear, Ad turned around. She was about to scold them for almost bursting her eardrums, but her anger ebbed away as she saw Alec and Carson.

"Hello, you two...." she said nervously, afraid a little bit of their hyperness. She looked at her lap where she had snuck quite a few sweets of her own from the girls' dorm.

To tease them, she lifted a (rather large, actually) chocolate bar and waved it around. Of course, it was from Justin's chocolate stash. Like he would miss about ten bars of chocolate. "Oh, boys! You two having a sugar crisis?" she chimed in with a sing-song voice.

Ella looked at the girl with raised eyebrows. She was somewhat caught off guard by the statement though she didn't entirely disagree. "Tacos rock." She said simply, a small smile forming on her lips. "I would love a taco."

Chocolate! SHE HAD CHOCOLATE! Carson's eyes widened as she teasingly waved the big bar of chocolate in front of their faces. NO! THAT WAS MEAN! THAT WAS SO MEAN! He pouted letting his bottom lip well and truly drop! Why was she being so mean? Why wasn't she giving them any? HE NEEDED SUGAR! HE HAD TO TASTE SUGAR! He smirked trying to grab hold of the chocolate bar but didn't succeed. That wasn't nice! He just wished he could get his hands on one square! ONE SQUARE! That was all he was asking for.

"A sugar crisis? MORE LIKE A SUGAR DISASTER!" he exclaimed staring at the bar of chocolate in Ad's hand. MUST. EAT. SUGARY. FOOD. As if he wasn't hyper enough!

"Me too. My names Jen by the way" jen says as shw sticks her hand out.

Ella couldn't help but notice that there was a lot of Slytherins at the Hufflepuff table. Strange. And she was talking to one of them. She took the girls hand and shook it, offering her own name. "I'm Ella. It's nice to meet you. So what year are you?" Cause Ella had never talked to Jen before though she was sure she'd seen her around the castle. While she waited for her reply, Ella took a sip of pumpkin juice and let out a content sigh.

"I'm a seccond year" I state simply.
I take a plate and fill it with mashed potatos, some carrots and a piece of bread.

To be honest, Sammy wasn't exactly thrilled to be back. One, it was her last year. Two, her sister was still no where to be found. Three, early mornings are not Sammy's thing. Never had been and probably never will be. Ever. The blonde's eyes were half closed as she spread butter onto her toast, she really needed to find a spell to wake her up of a morning. Perhaps that could be what she and Amy could do to avoid study? Hmm, yes add that to the list along with crying because of confusing tv shows. For two seventeen year olds they were super pathetic when it came to Moffat's shows. As the old Huffie thought about all this she hardly noticed her head of curly hair getting closer to her plate.

Evelyn yawned as she made her way to the Great Hall. She really disliked waking up early but for some odd reason, she was up at six today. Weird. Anyway. She was tired, hungry, sleepy and extremely stressed out. So, yeah. She wasn't in the best of moods.

She sat down at the house table and was about to help herself to some toast when she noticed the girl sitting on the opposite side. "Sammy!" Evelyn smiled at her fellow seventh year. She hadn't seen the girl around since the start of term. "How are you?" Evelyn proceeded to eat her toast.

Come to candy mountain, Sammy

Yeah, come to candy mountain-

Sammy's head jerked up when she heard her name, and lucky someone did, she was only seconds away from hitting her toast, but all the same in a typical Sammy fashion she managed to blurt out something completely irrelevant "jedi mind tricks" she mumbled, before realising who had actually saved her from face planting toast. "Evie!" she said happily. She took a moment to think about her answer though, giving it a moment, but not a very long moment before reply "I'm tired. I don't like mornings" she said with a frown, before picking up a slice of toast and taking a bite before continuing to talk to the girl "What abou-OHMYGAWD YOU'RE A PREFECT!" she yelled, super classy, pointing at Evelyn's shiny badge with her toast.

Evelyn frowned when she she heard Sammy mutter something about..mind tricks. Right. She continued to chew on her toast, thinking how hungry she really was. She hadn't a proper breakfast in a while so this was good. Eh? Evelyn raised an eyebrow when she heard Sammy call her Evie..seriously, what's with people calling her Evie these days? Not that she had a problem with that but it was..weird.

"Me neither. I'm feeling horrible." Evelyn muttered, taking another bite of her toast. She swallowed a mouthful before she laughed. "Yeah. I know, right?" Evelyn smiled as she looked down at the Badge on her robes. "It's awesome." She smiled again, taking yet another bite.

"I think we should be allowed to sleep until at least 1 in the afternoon" Sammy said with a nod. That's what she did during the summer, why couldn't she do it while she was at school? She saw no point in messing up her schedule for classes. "Congratulations! That's so cool, you know apart form looking after the mini-puffs , but that's so cool!" she said enthusiastically, clapping her hands together twice, like a seal. She could be a seal. She'd make an awesome seal.

"I know. That would be great." Evelyn grinned. Heh. She liked this Puff...even though she was really random and kinda weird at times. She finished her toast in her hand before she helped herself to another one.

"Thank you." Evelyn took a huge bite of toast. She swallowed a mouthful before she continued, "Well..it's not like to have to run behind the....mini Puffs." Heh. Mini puffs. She liked that. "But, yeah. It's super cool." Evelyn shrugged and took another bite of her toast.

Anyway. "So. How was your summer?"

Oh her summer? She sat and watched movies for hours on end, particularly Titanic, cried the whole way through. Grew an attachment to Leonardo DiCaprio's face, watched as many DiCaprio films as she could find. Re-watched Doctor Who and Merlin. Watched Sherlock a million times and now finally understood most of it. She tested a bunch of ways to make her hair go back to normal without too much effort, none worked. She visited her godson and cousins, OH THAT'S RIGHT. "It was good, didn't do too much. Visited my godson and some of my cousins but other than that, not too much. What about you?" the blonde asked, before taking the last bite of her toast.

Evelyn looked up surprised when Sammy said that she'd visited her godson. "Oh, you're a godmother? That's lovely." Evelyn really thought that was nice. "Sounds like you had a good summer." She continued to munch on her toast when Sammy asked how her summer was.

Right. Evelyn sighed. She'd expected that question, of course. But, she never got used to answering it. She'd probably had the worst summer of her life, but like usual..she preferred not talking about. "It was alright. I was supposed to go to France..but that didn't work out." Since her parents were kind enough to not help her by financing her trip. Evelyn shrugged and buttered what was left of the toast.

Ad giggled evilly and broke the bar in half and handed a half to the two boys. "There. Happy now?" she chuckled. "Be thankful you're friends with an older student who has family obsessed with chocolate" she snickered.

Carson smiled excitedly watching as Ad broke the bar of chocolate in half. He was so excited her could almost... Scratch that. He WOULD jump up and down. And so he did. He must have looked like an absolute lunatic jumping up and down over a bar of chocolate but it was chocolate. Who wouldn't be excited? "THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!" he responded taking the half a bar of chocolate from Ad's hand and tossing a square in his mouth smiling at the smooth, melting taste. "Chocate obthethed famwy?" he asked, his words slurred slightly due to the chocolate still melting in his mouth.

Damon sat down at the table, quietly... He sighed, still not fully understanding everything that was going on in his life. Ugh, he hated this year so far...

Taylor was walking into the Great Hall to go have some lunch and spied Damon, sitting at his house table. She prefer to sit with him at the Hufflepuff table than be alone at the Ravenclaw table. All her other friends seemed to have ate their lunch already so she went up behind Damon and wrapped her arms around him. "Hey Damon. How was your trip?" She kissed his cheek and sat down beside him. Taylor poourted herself some pumpkin juice, took a sip and grabbed a bun, nibbling on it.
