As you walk into the History of Magic classroom the first thing you notice is how warm the usual drafty room seems to be despite the lack of a fireplace, in fact some people would call it down right welcoming.
Professor Scabior is uncharacteristically not by his desk, instead he looms right by the door offering the faintest of smiles at you as you enter. "Morning."
The desks have once again been re-arranged so that four desks are alligned per row, just to give the classroom a slightly different look. Sadly, no colourful inks or fancy quills were on the desks this time, but that didn't mean nothing was placed on them. Upon the middle of each desk rested a world map, detailed and filled with its own kind of information.
Kindly take your seat and lower your voices, after all, there is no reason why points should be lost today.
OOC: Class has started now, please no posts announcing late arrivals, as that will result in lost of points. If you want to join in, I encourage you to! Just act as though your character was there all along.

Alyssa walked into the History of Magic classroom and was glad that the room was nice and warm. Alyssa blinked in surprise. Instead of Professor Scabior sitting at his usual place, he was actually standing next to the entrance door, smiling and actually greeted her.
"Uh...Hello Professor Scabior. It's nice to be back in your class. Alyssa greeted the Professor before she went to take a seat. She noticed that the tables had been arranged in 4 and hoped that Minnie, Sophie and Ella would join her when they came in.
Alyssa noticed the map of the world in the middle of the desk and so she leaned over to study it, while she took out her writing materials and journal and lay them on the desk next to her.
Erin was walking towards the History of Magic when she noticed the newly rearranged classroom. She spotted Professor Scabior by the door greeting students and before she could even extend hers, she was already greeted.
"Good morning too, Professor Scabior," Erin offered a wide smile and headed to her desk where she found a world map laying on top of it.

It was time for another History of Magic class and as such Gideon made his way up to the first floor after breakfast. The sixth year having been smart enough to bring his books and such down to the morning meal rather then have to trudge upstairs to the tower before hand. Making his way to the classroom, he stepped through the door, briefly taking in the surroundings and the presence of Professor Scabior as he stands by the door greeting them.
"Good morning Professor," he greeted with a polite nod, slowly stepping past and making his way further inside. Gideon then picked a spot in the second from the front row of desks and took a seat, Spotting the map in front of him and every desk for that matter, he simply took out a quill and parchment and rested the rest of the sachel at his feet.
Nigel walked into the History of Magic and immediately noticed that on middle of each desk rested a world map. Hmm.. what could they be doing today that would require a map. Well it was history after all.
"Hello, Professor Scabior". Nigel greets the professor as he walks over to a random empty desk and sits down waiting for class to start and see what they could be using the world map for.

Stepping into the History of Magic classroom, Sierra breathed a small sigh of relief as she realized how warm it was. That was a nice change from the freezing temperatures outside. Although, as a dungeon dweller, she was sort of used to rooms with a colder temperature.
She grinned at the professor, who was standing right by the door. "Good morning,"Hot Stuff"...Professor," she said. She only lingered long enough to say that, and then she stepped further into the room. Sliding into a desk, Sierra glanced at the map in front of her then tossed her book bag to the floor.
Aspen ....didn't like Professor Scabior's looming. He was looming, creepy-like with a ... sorta-smile at the door. Aspen didn't trust it, so she purposefully kept a wide of him, even going so far as to turn sideways as she entered the room. Side-step, side-step, side-step.
No greeting. Just looks.
Oh but a map! Aspen loved a good map! She went ahead and picked hers up, propped it up so kinda-creepy-loomy Professor Scabior couldn't see her.

Sophie happily made her way to the next History of Magic lesson. Not her favourite subject - far from it, actually - but no need to be in a bad mood, right?
"Good morning, professor Scabior!" She greeted the wizard with a smile. She quickly spotted Alyssa, since there were still only a few students there, and went to sit with her. "Hi, Alyssa! You don't mind if I sit here, right?" She asked while already taking a seat. Hehe!
Evelyn made her way to the History of Magic classroom, feeling tired and sleepy. She didn't want to miss the class though..especially since she had NEWT's coming up.
Yawning, she stepped into the classroom..and she jumped when she noticed Scabby standing near the doorway. GOSH. Why was he here and NOT by his desk? "Um..hello Professor. Hope you're doing well." Evelyn managed a smile, although she was still looking a little shaken. Scabby always managed to scare her..a little.
Evelyn found a seat near the front of the classroom and sat down. Placing her bag on the floor, she settled more comfortably in her seat, yawning again as she did so..when she noticed the map on her desk. Hm.

After what had happened while Nora was trying to do her assignment along with the others, but got glued by the headmaster to the floor, professor Scabior went somewhere dooooown in Nora's top favourite professors. Hmph. It was HIS fault, after all, and that was something she will probably never forget. HMPH.
She was startled, though, when she wanted to step inside the classroom, to find the man right by the door. "Hello, professor." Without any other words, she made her way to the nearest desk and sat down, waiting for the lesson to start.
"Hello, Professor Scabior." She walked in, a slight skip in her step. She plonked herself down in an empty row of desks and hummed under her breath as she gazed at the map. She traced the edge of the map, her brown eyes huge. "Theeeere's Russia." She tapped the country. "Aaaaand there's Am-eeer-eeec-aaaa." She let out a giggle and continued her game of point out already labelled countries.
Kennedy made his way to the History of Magic classroom and was a tad surprised to find the professor at the door. "Good day, Professor Scabior," he greeted as he passed the man. He walked over to an empty desk and set his bag next to him on the ground.
His green eyes scanned the map, focusing on the spots where he's been. Though, his eyes lingered longer on Scotland...his new home with his father.

History of Magic was fun, wheeee.
And kind of interesting, yap. Theodore whizzed into the classroom and jumped into a seat at the VERY front. "Hi, prooooofessor." His eyes skimmed over the map straight away, and hmm....
He knew where England was.
And... umm...
The North Pole was at the top somewhere. Hmm. He hoped this wouldn't be a boring map-like lesson.

Annabelle walked into the classroom. She noticed there was a huge map in the room. "Good morning Professor Scabior." she said with a sweet smile. She took her seat and observed the map in front of her.

Whoa, that was different. The professor was greeting them right by the door. Emmanuelle didn't know whether she should be intimidated or not. So, she decided to just not be. Nope, instead she greeted the professor politely. "Hello, professor. Having a good day?" Welp, that was the most she had ever said to a professor in greeting. She blamed it on the pleasantly warm temperature in the room, which reminded her of home and therefore caused her to feel more relaxed.
As she found herself a desk and sat, she noticed the world maps that had been placed on each one. She was curious as to what this was all about. Maybe their lesson for the day had something to do with an event that had a global impact?

Nerida skipped up to the History of Magic class. When she suddenly saw the lurking Professor at the door she cautionally said Good morning Professor Scabior. Hope your day was good! Wasnt he normally over by his desk or something. Seeing the room was redecorated once again...Weird who would go through the trouble of redecoarting a whole class. Resisting the urge to laugh at her thoughts she walked over to a desk and sat down. Peering down at what was on them she smiled she loved geography maybe that was because of her brother Hathor and his fascination with it.

Another history lesson. Which actually wasn't too bad, in Milton's opinion. It was better than Muggle Studies and Divination, that was for sure. Before he even walked in the door, Milton could feel the warm air greet him. He shivered a bit before nodding at Scabior, who seemed rather... pleasant today. "Professor," he greeted.
Walking into the room, he noticed it was set up differently this time. Milton found a seat in the middle and sat closest to the wall. After getting settled, he took his scarf off and looked around the room until his eyes landed on a particular curly-haired Slytherin prefect.
GLAAAAARE.
Milton felt useless without his wand. Thanks to that idiot right there. Have some more death glares, scumbag. GLARE.

Ella entered the History of Magic classroom and was a bit surprised to see Professor Scabior greeting people by the door. This was different. With a smile she entered the room and greeted the man with a small smile of her own. "Hi Professor, hope you're doing well." He sure seemed like he was. He was even smiling a bit...weird!
Spotting Alyssa and Sophie sitting together, the second year smiled and headed for the empty seat next to Soph. "Hey girls, mind if I join you?" Not that she expected them to mind or anything.
" Good Morning, Professor Scabior. Good to see you again." Justin said as he walked intothe classroom and sat in his usual seat and set down his school bag and waited for the class to begin.
Silvia entered the classroom. "Hello professor," she said, before making her way over to a desk near the front. She set down her bag and looked over the map. So were they doing something geography related today?

Heading into the History of Magic classroom, Stella smiled faintly as she realized the room was actually warm. After so many lessons lately in which she'd been almost freezing, this was a pleasant surprise. Until she'd slightly glanced sideways and realized Professor Scabior was actually looming there right by the door, and she blinked. He has pretty eyes, she randomly thought, before snapping out of it. It was still a little nerve-wracking having him right there instead of at his desk or at least the front of the classroom. "Good morning, Professor Scabior," she finally said, thankfully managing to keep moving again to find a seat.
Settling in, she set her bag down on the floor by her feet like usual before glancing at the world map spread on her desk. Geography?, she wondered, letting a finger trace the little picture of France for a moment. Thinking of everyone who was still there right now, before she went back to wondering what they were going to be learning in class today. She hardly thought it was just a geographical lesson after all.

Alyssa looked up and smiled."of course not. In fact, I was reserving this spot for you, Ella and Minnie. I hope that they'll join us soon....and speaking of Ella. Here she is." Alyssa smiled as she saw her younger friend enter the classroom.

"Hey there Ella. Of course you can. I was just telling Sophie that I was reserving this table just for the Power Puff girls. Now all we have missing is Minnie. I hope that she'll be able to join us soon." Alyssa smiled at Ella and Sophie.

Keefer entered the room and immediately saw Scabior. What's with that? he wondered, before collecting himself and greeting the man. "Hullo, Professor."
He flopped down into a seat behind Alyssa and a few other female Badgers. Before greeting them, the large map in the center of the room caught his eye. He loved maps, an interest he had inherited from his father. He walked over and bent to examine it for several moments before regaining his seat. "Hey, Lyss. How's it going?"
Louisa was excitedly walking down the corridor with her hand holding on to her bag's strand across her body, there was no specific reason why she should be happy like that but she waaaas almost seventeen! How cool! Her big smile widened even more at the mere thought.
And into the classro- WHAO! The girl skidded to a stop just an inch before bumping the professor standing at the door... since when does Scabior stand here? Oh well. She smiled at him, maybe for the first time ever, and greeted cheerfully, "Good morning professor!" Forward to find a seat and plop down on.
