Just like a ball being thrown. Cassia felt herself as she landed on her knees. Great it could have been a lot worse. But ignoring her dancing stomach ,the sensation of nausea and the throbbing knees..Oh she was absolutely okay.

She took a second to regain her breath and to push today's breakfast where it belongs! Then she rose to her feet and she already forgot to feel her body seeing the magnificent scene before her eyes. This time she could not help it and she was squeaking, like it or not professor Scabior!

She pivoted checking the surroundings, they were in a cave? She guessed. The first year was lost in the beauty of what she was seeing. Were those Sirens?! She so hoped that Professor Scabior would let them have a chat with the creatures, ignoring how impossible the idea seemed ,she could dream right.

The Slytherin was not getting enough of the scene but her eyes widened when a Merperson appeared before them! Cassia froze in her tracks seeing this beautiful creature. It was similar to the merpeople in Hogwarts but with some differences.

Did the merperson just welcomed them!

Squeeeak agaaiin!!

.... and suddenly felt the water pressure pressing all around him.

Out of instinct Vickers sucked his breath. It took him a few seconds to remember that there was a bubble head charm already in place, wrapping his head in a safe cocoon of air. Looking around his immediate surroundings he realized they materialized in a cave, but as he turned his head the sight of what looks to be an underwater city beckoned him forward--

-- just to stop short when someone appeared out of thin air right in front of him.

He pulled his arms forward, swimming backwards just to avoid a collision. It was a Merperson! Eyes bright with wonder as he gazed on the being in front of him, hearing her welcome them to her city. He nodded his head, still not opening his mouth or speaking and he shifted his eyes behind her to the mysterious ruins just outside the cave.

When the portkey had reached it's destination, Daichi let go of the object and also let go of Kurumi's hand in panic that he was going to miss his stop. He rolled underwater and with a thud he landed against the wall. He grumbled a few annoyed words under his breath but fell silent when he opened his eyes and looked outside.

Where those sirens? He had read about them in his text book....

He didn't have time to be amazed much longer though as he suddenly remembered that he was underwater and began to flail his arms up and down and trashing his legs awkwardly as if he had a spasm. How where people doing this whole swimming stuff?! And most importantly...

WHEREWASKURUMI?!

where was she? WAAAH! He was too busy looking around for the Gryffindor Prefect that he hadn't even noticed that a Merperson had come up to them to great them.

Laura suddenly felt a bit cold and wet, so it was offical Atlantis was underwater, so the crazy old fool Professor was going to teach them about Atlantis whilst they were in Atlantis.

If Laura could discribe how she felt she would but it was hard to discribe and so she wouldn't bother, Laura looked around after opening her eyes to see where everyone was.

...Did she grab the portkey fast enough? Emmanuelle was afraid to open her eyes and see. So, she just floated? there for moment with her eyes closed. She wasn't in any kind of pain, nor did it sound like she was somewhere that she wasn't supposed to be. In fact, it sounded exactly like one would think the ocean would sound like from inside a bubble head charm. And it certainly felt like the ocean...

Finally, she decided that it was safe to open her eyes. Looking around, all she could say was "Wow..." Atlantis was defintely much more beautiful than advertised. And even better than that stupid muggle resort that she'd seen an ad for once. For one thing, the real Atlantis had merpeople. Real merpeople. Better looking than the ones found in the lake at Hogwarts. And one was greeting the class. Em wasn't sure how to answer. Did merpeople accept human politeness? Deciding that it couldn't hurt to try, she replied "Thank you, it really is a beautiful city."

Kurumi felt like she was going to be sick, as she always did whenever she traveled by port key. However, unlike other times she did not find herself landing on her bottom since she quite literally popped into existence in the middle of a body of water. Jolting slightly to the right, Kurumi's eyes snapped opened and she looked at her one hand to see the mug and was a bit puzzled by why her other arm felt so light.

Until she saw that Daichi wasn't clinging to her arm.

"Daichi?" Kurumi murmured, barely audible despite the Bubble Head Charm, as she began to look around.

It was then that Kurumi saw what was before them and her eyes widened as a she gasped softly, her arms and legs kicking slightly to keep her balance. That must be Atlantis...and it looked beautiful. The coldness of the water on her bare hands and feet was a bit startling and Kurumi couldn't help but wonder just where they were exactly. If her theories had been anywhere close to being on par...then they were....

But then her thoughts were interrupted by a frighteningly beautiful mereperson who Kurumi took to be the Chieftainess of Atlantis. Or Queen... or...whatever sort of title it was that they gave their rulers. Kurumi momentarily freaked out in her head when she heard the Atlantian speak English before remembering that Mermish should sound like English under water. Keep calm, Kurumi, keep calm and...find Daichi.

Bowing politely in the Chieftainess' direction to return her greeting, Kurumi continued to turn her head and move herself so she too was spinning until she spotted Daichi...looking rather panicked. Kurumi dolphin kicked her way over to him and reached out her hand for his while offering him an encouraging smile. He could take it again if he wanted to. She had promised that she would keep an eye on him and just be there if he wanted.

She didn't open her eyes just yet. Oh Merlin, ohmerlinohmerlinohmerlin. Had she arrived, had she not let go? Glenn prised her eyes open and was immediately hit with the swooping sickness that she'd only experienced at theme parks. Merlin... what would happen if you were sick in one of these bubbles? ...That's a disgusting thought. Stop thinking it, Glenn.

Her eyes followed a school of fish that drifted past them before her she saw the city beyond. It was cool! She kicked a little to stop from toppling over in the water.

Was that a... merperson?? Glenn's eyes widened and she kicked rapidly back from it... unfortunately crashing into the already flailing Daichi. She waved her arms around to stop herself from flipping over, "Merlin! I'm sorry!" She shouted, her voice muffled by the bubble. She let herself float away a little, hopefully enough that she wouldn't crash into anyone again.

After some time of dizziness and feeling highly nauseous all the spinning and moving came to a stop.

The first thing Ness could think of was how cold the water was, she was shivering, but just a bit. She then opened her eyes and blinked at her surroundings completely forgetting about the temperature of the water. This place was beyond beautiful. It was esquiset and so facinating how something so lovely was hidden so easily.

There were fish and merpeople everywhere and all sorts of weird shaped rocks almost looking like towers and buildings. It was like a whole special world kept underwater. The red head really liked it.

It was only when Ness tried to spot where the Professor was in the cave, that she noticed there was now a merperson standing right in front of everyone. The Hufflepuff stared at the magical creature completely flabberghasted. So gorgeous yet so intimidating at the same time.

Her lips were moving and Ness could here what the merperson was saying, but she was so shocked she could barely respond. She just continued to stare and eventually regaining just a little control of her mouth she managed to say a few words. "Th..thanks..I..It's..a..amazing." she said a little bit nervously to this creature.

What in the Godforsaken WORLD is going on?!

A few seconds after Chelle had got her hands on the portkey-or-whatever-it-was-called, the world plunged into darkness. She felt her body being dragged through the darkness, and her surroundings felt damp and cold. She couldn't breathe. And then all of a sudden, she was in another place. As if she had appeared out of thin air. The place was dark and damp, and really cool. There was a lot of swampy and marshy water around them. They seemed to be in some sort of a cave.

Chelle would have simple described the situation as 'creepy'...

...Until a woman came up to them. Or maybe she wasn't a woman. She looked like a woman, but still not like normal women. Chelle didn't know what to think of her. But the situation had just turned creepier than creepy.

Sarah arrived at Atlantis.. wow it was amazing to be here - she did not know its residents were merpeople though,she thought they were humans like her. She wished she could be as tall as a merperson...

Jory's feet slammed dowm hard and he stumbled but he managed to pull himself up right and looked around.

They were under water, of course. He could see his classmates appearing out of now where but what caught his eyes, was the surroundings. The ruins looked wonderful to him.

Just then a merperson seemed to materialized. "Thank you,'' Jory said as if he spoke to merpeople everyday. "This place is beautiful.''

The moment he felt water around him, Darwin dropped whatever object he'd been holding and PANICKED, looking up and seeing only water above him. He couldn't BREATHE and he was pretty sure that in the time it took him to get to the surface (the surface that was so far above him it was INVISIBLE) he would die. WHAT WAS HE GOING TO DO?

Looking around, he noticed no one else panicking and that people seemed to be breathing NORMALLY. How was that even possible? And that was when the boy realised that he could still hear, and see, and that somehow this goldfish bowl was helping him to breathe. And so he stopped panicking, and mentally thanked his parents for insisting that he take swimming lessons when he was younger.

Nodding a little at Chelle, one of the girls who'd been on his table, he swam closer to the group, just in time to hear the mermaid-thing speak. He didn't even know if that was the correct term or not, but he'd only ever seen the Disney film and she was like a less-cartoon version. With blonde hair.

And this was supposedly Atlantis.

And this was totally weird.

Tiffany hated the feeling of being under the water or something similar to that, wet and cold. However where they were now, was exactly wet. Hmm, perfect.

She tried to get her conscious back from the travel and the dizziness that she was having right now. She was sick from it but maybe it was worth doing so in order to pay a nice visit to this amazing place, the Altantis. She looked around the place with admiration. Her eyes almost popped out as a merperson showed up suddenly in front of them. Bowing to the merperson as a polite greeting, she continued observing all the structure around here.

One second Alyssa remembered being in the HoM classroom. The next thing she knew, she felt this weird pressure and when she blinked, there was water surrounding her. She felt a little nauseous but since she was prepared for it, she was able to calm her tummy down.

She looked all around her and was glad to see that she had joined Vickers and the other students. Then her eyes opened even wider when a creature swam up to meet them. It was a merperson. From the looks of it looked like a female.

The merperson welcomed them in Mermish...or was it English...since Alyssa didn't seem to have problems understanding what she was saying...and of course she didn't speak Mermish. Alyssa waved and said,"Hello"...or at least she tried to considering that there was a big Bubble covering her head.

Before she knew it this strange uncomfortable ride finally ended and she felt her stomach flip as she was spit from the tube and hit the ground none too lightly. She got up and aching a bit and opened her eyes and all negative thoughts left her mind as she saw the majestic city of Atlantis before her. She could not wait to explore this place with the professor and the rest of her classmates. She then suddenly saw a real merperson welcome them. This trip was already blowing her mind.

Jezzabelle felt a kind of comfortable plunge into the cool water and she opened her eye. She felt kind of sick to her stomach but was certain that given a few minutes it would all pass. Kicking her feet slightly she looked around and took in the beauty that was Atlantis.

A mereperson swam up and welcomed them. giving a small smile she said quietly, "Thank you." Always best to start out polite when meeting someone. She kept looking around trying to take in everything. It was almost as if the buildings had been made out of the rock and coral that rested in the sea and she loved the look of it.

When Elise finally mustered the courage to open her eyes, the first thing she saw was blue. Didn't the portkey work? What was she doing in the common - WATER! Jolting, she fumbled, her feet flailing before she regained her balance. If they were on shore, she'd probably be bruising.

But the next thing she saw was a merperson. Sure, she looked old, but she was pretty! Beaming widely at the welcome, she held in a squeal. "Thank you," she said. "This place is beautiful!"

It really was. Buildings and merpeople and fish and stuff, it was fantastic. But cold. Was there a charm to warm them or could the water get warmer or something?

Nigel opened his eyes slowly wondering what kind of city it was like. Atlantis was amazing and the old merperson was pretty cool. He even spoke English.

"Thank You" Nigel said to the merperson.

He had to be polite in this amazing city. Nigel did not know what else to say about the city because it was to awesome for words.

And then they were in the water...and the feeling of being dragged by the belly button had subsided...and other than being a little dizzy, Ella was completely okay. THATWASWICKED! She had successfully survived traveling by a portkey! This was like...BIG news. And she didn't even throw up or anything! Did people do that, throwing up after traveling like that? She figured it was possible.

The second year blinked several times, taking in the scene before here. The water was dark and they appeared to be at the entrance of Atlantis. EEP! ATLANTIS! She couldn't believe they were actually here. Swimming towards Darwin and Chelle, her group mates, the blonde smiled and gave them a thumbs up. Were they excited like she was?

Ooooh. And who was this merperson?! She looked really strong...like she could totally take on Professor Scabior if she wanted...which hopefully she didn't. Was this merperson like the leader of Atlantis? If so, that was quite cool! Ella did wish she could have been wearing something a little nicer when meeting this VIM...very important merperson...but the wetsuits were the practical choice so...Shrug.

Chelle looked at Damon and then at Ella. Damon's expression was as confused and creeped out as hers was. But Ella... Well. As Ella swam toward her and Damon, she gave them a thumbs-up and a BIIG smile. She looked like she was really excited. And happy to be here. What was wrong with people?!

"I-I f-f-feel real-l-lyy coldd," Chelle muttered through her teeth. She could breathe, as there was a Bubble around her head. But the wetsuits were uncomfortable. And it was cold. And she was scared of the mermaid lady.

Was it just him, or did the air get reeeaaally thick all the sudden? And... colder?

Blink.

Milton realized that his eyes were shut. And when he opened them, he was more than surprised. He was sort of floating. Well. No. He was swimming. Under water.

"Woah," was the only thing that came out of his mouth. This... Atlantis... It was real? Surely this wasn't a joke anymore. Milton didn't think Professor Scabior would build a city underwater and hire some merpeople just for a History class.

Milton looked around for Anya to make sure she made it safely, but his eyes got distracted by the elderly merperson in front of them. That was... wicked cool.

The whole time she was spinning or her surroundings were spinning Nerida was freaking out. Her first time on a port key was crazy and she was not feeling very good. It took her a moment to realize she was in water eep! She couldnt breath!! Before she could fully freak out she remembered the bubble head charm was on her. Hearing a voice she turned around to see a mermaid. Wow!! She responded "Thank you very much, this place is very pretty!" She began to look around for the first year or who she thought was a first year. The person she met in class.

And cue.... soft landing?

Rather than crashing like she had expected, Lily managed to just kinda float down softly, still landing on her bottom. She got up as fast as she could manage before letting herself look around. Woah!!!!.... This place is weird.... She thought as she looked around, waiting for the professor to show up and start up the class again.

Once the feeling of water envolved him, João opened his eyes and...

Wow.

Lucky he had a bubble over his head, or else he was dead by now, since his mouth was as open as it would go.

Had he exclaimed 'Wow'?

The sight of the city left him speechless. It was the most beautiful city he had ever seen. It was amazing. It was--words were too ugly to define it. It was out of this world.

Once done with his initial inspection--he was not over the first shock though--he said "Thank you for accepting us," to the merperson politely.
