Gobstones Preliminary Match: Hufflepuff vs. Slytherin
Hurrying down to court area reserved for Gobstones matches, Leobald sincerely hoped that he wasn't late. Seeing Josephina already there his mood dropped a peg but he beamed at her nontheless. "Good afternoon miss joint advisor!"
Enough talk, hastily he pulled out two bags of stones from his tote. One bag filled with yellow stones, the other, green. He knew he was was on time to start the first match and he only hoped that some members from each house would show up soon.
Upon seeing a few, he nodded respectively at both houses, handing them each their respective colored stones before continuing with the customary beforehand speech. "You've read the rules. Any horseplay or cheating or anything poor misendeavors will not be tolerated. Good luck."
OCC: The match will be run by by both Nordic Witch & PhoenixRising simultaneously as we will take turns holding the rounds of the game.
Leobald raised his hand to signify for the players to take their respective coloured stones into their hands for the game to begin. When everyone seemed ready and the marbles were in place the match started.
The game balls were cast and the first team to cast their stone closest to the Jack stone in the center was Hufflepuff with Alyssa leading things for the badgers! Come on Snakes!
Ah the snakes seemed to just be getting their bearings under the first question. Now for the second question it was a tight race between the two teams with snake, West Odessa going head to head with Edvard Messer of Badger house. Messers stone made a break for the jack stone but ended up curling in another direction where as Odessa's stone stopped just short of the jack stone.
West Odessa casts his stone with determination and speed. It looks like the green stone will have enough speed to stop just short of the Jack stone once more. The green stone though suddenly looses in speed and almost stops and that is when Alyssa Potter casts her yellow stone. The yellow stone looks good to reach the stone but stops right next to its green counter part.
Neither house was correct. Harry was delivered by Professor Dumbledore on October 31st 1981 on the dursley's doorstep but Petunia and Vernon didn't find him until November 1st 1981.

The snakes with Issac Muir takes charge of the green stone casts it head to head with prefect Lewis Rasting for the puffs. The yellow stone whizzes past the Jack stone and almost outside the game area. The green stone on the other hand stops next to the Jack stone.
The correct answer was Professor Alexandria Pierce who taught the facial features altering spell in Term 19. Next round will be hosted by PhoenixRising!

Josephina stood off to the side, as she watched Leobald take the reigns on supervising the first round. She had to admit, not bad for a novice. She'd only advised the club with Risu and Jared, so she was slightly surprised when the new Librarian was interested. But who was she to turn down help?
And so far, he even seemed to know what he was doing. For the most part anyway. Eying the students carefully, she then gave a curt nod for them to carry on.

A different pair of students rolled their stones this time. Minerva Wheatborn rolled first for Hufflepuff, her golden stone rolling steadily away from the direction of the Jack Stone. The Slytherin Captain seizes the momentary glitch on Hufflepuff's part and rolls her stone gently into the spot next to the Jack Stone.
Slytherins take the point, spewing a coat of gob on the Yellow players!!

It was now captain versus captain, it seemed, since Quidditch wasn't the only extracurricular that they participated in. Keefer and Kimalia rolled their respective colored stones onto the court, each rolling quickly toward the center.... it was then though that the gold one bumped the green one slightly, causing it to go off skew from its goal point slightly. And the yellow one continued, landing right beside the Jack Stone.

Subject: History of Magic/Potions
