| | |  Gobstones Championship Match: Hufflepuff vs Ravenclaw
Leobald was relieved that he didn't need to wade through mud puddles on his way down to the building which housed the Gobstones matches. The sky was clear and sunny and the weather forecast had promised no rain for the duration of the match. How many times hadn't the forecast predicted on thing and the weather being totally different? One two many times. The sunny sky though probably meant that not too many studen'ts would like to be indoors rolling stones but only time would tell that.
Inspecting the court area a moment, Leo nodded to himself in approval, as he set the two twin bags of stones on the side - one filled with yellow stones, the other blue. As the houses assembled in front of him, Leo addressed them.
"You know the rules. Cheating or horseplay will not be tolerated. Good luck."
OOC:The match will be run by by both Nordic Witch & PhoenixRising, Nordic Witch will run most of the rounds but PheonixRising will also run a few. | |

There went the stones with the blue rolled by Nigel of the claws edging ahead of yellow stone rolled by Alyssa of the badger's. When the dust cleared on the court the blue stone had stopped just inches away from the Jack stone while the yellow stone had rolled off to the side.
Ravenclaw wins the first point of the match.

Alec Summers of Hufflepuff gave his stone a thrust and watched it roll down the court with speed heading straight for the jack stone in the center. Wait a minute, where is the blue stone? The claws looked to be sitting out the point or no there was Elise Fairfield's blue stone rolling fast but then suddenly stopping several meters away.

Alec Summers and Elise Fairfield rolled their stones simultaneosly down the court it looked like it was going to be a close race when began rolling out to the side and off the court.
The correct answer is Circe, neither house was right. Circe lived on Aeaea and transfigured sailors into pigs.

The teams rolled their stones again with Ellie Stone, the claw quidditch captain leading the blues and her counter part was Alyssa Potter for the badgers. The two let their their stones roll almost at the same time with the blue have a little head start on the yellow one. As the stones rolled the gap increased until the blue stone buddied up against the Jack in the center with the yellow one not far behind.

Alec Summer was eager to play and thrust his stone away with such force that Mr Kitridige feared that it would race out of play. Not far behind came the blue stone once more rolled by Ellie stone. Alec's stone was just too good and didn't like Mr kitrdige feared roll of instead it rolled inwards and stopped next to the jack in the center. The blue stone didn't have a shot.
