Alright! He was probably the first one on board at the front. Peace and quiet, for now. Though we was starting to get used to a lot of voices talking around him. Quiet seemed weird for now. Getting into a compartment, Zeke placed his stuff around and sat down. It seemed like only yesterday when he rode the train going home. And now he was going back to Hogwarts. His 2nd year at the school. It was waaay better than Durmstrang in terms of lessons. Though he liked the people at Durmstrang more.

Oh well. Now he wonders who'd he be with soon. Or if he'll be sitting with someone at all.

Zhenya had just said goodbye to her family, and was trying not to cry as she got onto the Train and shut herself in the first compartment she got to. She sat down and looked out of the window, waving to her family, who looked very happy... without her.

She sighed to herself and pulled out her diary to write more of her story.

Alyssa walked through the train corridor, dragging her trunk along with her. She kept walking until she came across and empty one. She dragged her trunk into the compartment, shoved her trunk under a seat and then picked the seat nearest to the window. She pulled her legs up on to the seat, wrapped her arms around them, placed her chin on them and looked out the window.

Yup, from the South End to the front. It was a tiring walk.

Janice dragged her trunk while trying to find an empty compartment. She had her sling bag on her back, filled with a book for the journey and some coins for snacks. She also hadn't forget her painting set which is now in a canvas bag resting in her trunk. And she spotted Alyssa, sitting in some compartment.

"Hey," she peeked in. "Can I be here?"

Alyssa looked up when she heard a familiar voice. It was Janice. Her housemate and Quidditch team mate. She smiled."Hi Janice. Sure come on in. How was your summer?"

"It was fine, thanks," she smiled as she went in the compartment. She put her trunk in the compartment above and sat.

"Not much to do, though."

"Yeah same with me too. In fact my summer hasn't been a great one. My mother's brother and her family were killed in an auto accident and the only survivors were my twin cousins. So we really didn't have a great summer at all." Alyssa said trying to hold back the tears. She was not going to cry. She was done crying.

Janice's jaw droppedd. She knew that the summer was going to be boring but not dreadfull. She got up her seat and walked towards her friend.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, Alyssa," she said, motioning to embrace her. "How are your cousins going to manage, then?"

Glenn boarded the train, dragging her trunk behind her. She swept her hair from her eyes as she made her way down the corridor, glancing inside the compartments as she went.

Yes. Someone she knew. "Hey, mind if I come sit with you guys?" Glenn asked, sliding the door shut and stowing her trunk overhead. Her cat jumped from her bag to the floor and began mewling loudly, "Hush Amata" She scolded, frowning.

Jonathan was late in coming at the station but he managed to catch up with the train before it could even leave. That was a relief. He did have a hard time in fixing his luggage, which is the reason why he is late. He almost forgot to pack his books, thankfully Nobi was there and spotted his seventh year books. It could have been embarrassing if he did forget them.

Jonathan took his small sling bag and went to find himself some comfortable seat. He usually find a seat up front because the back of the train was usually invaded by the first years and it's usually the first one to be full of people. Jonathan walked until he found an empty compartment and decided to sit. It's been a hot day so he opened the window and then tossed his bag before sitting down. He put down his crup, let him enjoy the compartment or something like that. Ash likes to wander around where Jonathan is, so it's easier to look after him.

Feeling the air on his neck, Jonathan smiled. This is it, isn't it? His last train ride to Hogwarts. He's finally a seventh year student, it just felt like everything happened so fast... in a good way though. He didn't like the fact that he was graduating this term though. Hogwarts is already a second home to him, it's too special to be left behind.

Sigh.

He took a seat comfortably as he put both his feet on the comfy couch. A nap is definitely a good thing to do right now. He starred at the ceiling for awhile until his eyes finally closed.

Having left the prefect compartment to make her rounds, Kurumi was really just looking for an excuse to go find a certain Slytherin boy. However, her feet were heavy, practically dragging as she made her way through the crowded halls and her vision just didn't seem to be as clear as it usually was as she glanced in each compartment looking for him. Her heart was pounding in her chest and she felt ill.

Maybe he wasn't in this part of the train either? Kurumi was sure she had looked everywhere and she was beginning to think that maybe he wasn't actually coming back to Hogwarts when she passed the last compartment in this section and saw him already asleep with his feet up. She blush a bit at the sight and quietly slid open the door, slipping inside before closing it behind her. She really shouldn't wake him up, right? No, she needed too. She wouldn't get the chance to talk to him at the feast most likely.

Tugging a some of her black hair behind her ear again, Kurumi leaned forward and brushed his bangs out of his face, blushing even more now that she could see his sleeping expression. "J-Jonathan..." she whispered, poking his cheek gently.

Jonathan has a habit of closing his eyes whenever he is comfortable in his seat. He would usually cover his eyes, with one arm so that the light of the sun won't bother him too much and sometimes instead of taking a nap, he would sleep for hours. Which is what his father had been complaining about. Well, sleeping is not a crime, Alexander should know that. Geez. He can feel the air coming from the outside of the window, it was really nice. And again, Jonathan just can't wait for summer to finish already. Everyday felt like a degree higher from yesterday. He can't stand the heat.

Not completely asleep, he can hear his crup walking around the compartment. He just had his lunch so Ash is just probably finding a place to snooze off like him. THAT, or he just wants to go out, which won't happen because he's still small. He would just definitely get lost.

Jonathan took a deep breath. It'll be a long train ride right? So he'll just try to sleep, there wasn't any food from the trolley that he'd like to eat. He's just bored. Jonathan suddenly twitched, did he just hear someone opening the compartment? Orrrrr, was it on the other side? He can't be really sure but sharing it with someone who doesn't have a seat yet would be nice.

However, before he could look at who went inside, a hand brushed his bangs. A familiar move coming from her. Jonathan smirked as he head her whispered his name and felt her poke his cheeks. Jonathan thought, she would be busy at the prefect compartment. Although, he's not complaining that she came all the way here to find him. With his free arm, he tossed it around Kurumi and hugged her while lying down still. "Good day, prefect." he smiled as opened his eyes.

Kurumi ran her fingers through his hair idly and suddenly got the feeling that he wasn't actually asleep. This was only confirmed when she saw his lips curl up into a smirk and she was just about to take a step back when his arm found its way around her, landing about at her waist, and she moved forward instead of backwards. Her heart skipped a beat and her breath caught in her throat as she attempted to stabilize herself so she didn't fall over - which would have been awkward.

"H-Hey," she blushed, her eyes meeting his as they finally opened. Her face did wrinkle up just a bit at him calling her prefect, but it didn't last very long. He was smirking after all, and she couldn't keep her face contorted for too long whenever he did that. "...sleepyhead." Since they were using kind-of-sort-of nicknames at the moment.

Heart still beating a billion miles an hour, Kurumi took a deep breath and was just about to speak when....OH MY STARS IT WAS A CRUPPY!! Magical creatures always had a way of distracting Kurumi from a task, and it seemed like this was no different. "Jonathan! Is that Ash?" she asked, remembering the picture and letter she had received from him over the summer. "He is adorable. Can I hold him?!" Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease?!

Jonathan grinned when she pulled Kurumi even closer. Somehow, half of him was hoping she would have fell over but people walking by would be alerted by that, wouldn't they? Jonathan stared at her and found himself staring at her dress. She's wearing a dress. He saw Kurumi wear them from time to time but it's usually coupled with pants or leggings underneath. See? "You're wearing a nice dress" he said glancing at it and back to her. But she did mention once that she felt uncomfortable wearing them.

Jonathan straightened up as she mentioned sleepyhead. He gave a small laugh "Is that my nickname?" well, he admits that he is a sleepyhead. Everyone in his family knows he has a bad habit when it comes to sleeping and his friends seems to know about it too. Sitting down he scooted next to her, looking at Ash who was just there... calm... weird. Most creatures would usually run around but he's just different. Not that he's against it. Ash is perfect for his personality.

His eyes switched to Kurumi when she got excited over the crup. Kurumi is always good in handling creatures. She's always happy to see them. "Yup, he's still small" he said nodding "Sure. He's pretty much harmless" definitely harmless. He took Ash from the floor and handed her over the Kurumi, petting him.

Shuffles through the corridor... Looking for an available compartment... If he is lucky enough... AHA! This one only has a guy in it. One hand slides the door open while another drags the bag. As soon as the door slides open, a Norwegian forest kitten skips into the compartment and hops on the seat where it walks around before curling itself.

"Lei! Get down, now!" commanded Xing in Cantonese. Perhaps the feline understands what its master says as it hops off the seat immediately, wiggling his tail while looking at the boy keeping his luggages into the compartment above the seat. After everything settles, Xing finally settles down to see a boy about his age sitting in front of him. "I am sorry about just now. My name is Xing, by the way. Xing Canterbury." It is always polite to apology when you know you might have caused someone to feel uncomfortable. Although he hopes that his weak English skills won't annoy the other boy even more.

Sophie decided to look around the train to see if she could find some of her friends aaaand make new ones! Maybe some first year needed help making friends or something. SHE COULD HELP!! Yep yep!!

At a distance, she could see someone with blonde hair, standing up in front of a compartment. OOHHH!!! "GLEEEEEENN!!!" Sophei rushed in her direction as fast as she could, being careful enough not to trip and fall down, of course.

Sarah entered the front of the train. She was getting restless of being in one spot. Her chestnut braid hung on her shoulder, and she had the urge to flick it back, yet her one hand were fill with her bag that contained her books and the other her owl cage. Oh man.. she will just have to grin and bear it. Her intelligent brown eyes surveryed the compartment. There, by the window was a perfect seat, with a gorgoues view of the passing landscape. She sat down and pretended to look busy.

Kurumi DID lean forward a little bit too far, but was able to remove her hand that had its fingers tangled in his hair quickly enough that she caught herself on the wall and leaned there for a moment before completely regaining her balance. Falling...just wasn't an option right now. Kurumi looked down at herself, her cheeks even more on fire when he complimented her dress. She had, for some reason, felt like dressing up this term's train ride. Although, she still was wearing sneakers, so that balanced everything out. "It's...just a gray dress..." she mumbled. It wasn't really fancy...or nice...it was rather plain and simple, which is probably why she felt almost comfortable in it. "But...um...thank you?"

She really needed to learn how to take compliments from people, especially those coming from Jonathan.

Kurumi was actually thankful when he sat up and she plopped herself down next to him, hands immediately going to her lap where they folded one on top of the other. "You called me prefect first," she laughed, sticking her tongue out playfully. She sat up a little more straight when he scooted closer to her, her heart racing and that constricting feeling overwhelming her chest again, but she somehow managed to keep her breathing even. "You know I prefer to call you by your name than some nickname anyway." And she was the same, although Jonathan could be an exception to this if he wanted. Just maybe not princess...she was too plain for such a title.

CRUP! CRUPCRUPCRUPCRUP!

Kurumi was practically bouncing in her seat when Jonathan had picked up Ash and was handed him to her. "Well of course he is harmless," she said in an obvious baby voice. "How could something this adorable be harmless." ANd now she was giving the puppy Eskimo kisses and spoiling it rotten with attention.

Full. Why there aren't any compartments that not full? He's not that late but most of it already packed with students. Maybe next year they need to expand the express.

Then when he's looking for a compartment, he heard a very loud noise. A very familiar loud noise. Oh its Sophie. "Sophie!" he waved toward his fellow second year. "How are you? Did you have a great summer." He bombarded her with questions till he noticed another girl standing next to Sophie "Hello." he gave the girl a curt nod.

Messer' eyes went from the two girl to the people inside the compartment. "LYSSSSS...!!" he shouted "I thought you're not coming back to Hogwarts." There's a rumor going on that Lyss won't be coming back this term. "Wow! I'm SO glad you're back." GRIN. And once again he failed to notice there's another person there. "Umm..Sorry. Hello, I'm Messer."

Wait. This compartment is full with a lot of girls. Maybe he should just leave and find another compartment and maybe he'd bump into Alec.

Before Sophie could reach Glenn, she passed by a little someone she had never seen before and that was all alone. She stopped by the young girl and waved. "Hello, there!!! I'm Sophie!" She greeted her with a warm smile. "You're a first year, right?" The girl looked like a first year, at least. And Sophie had never seen her around before, sooo...


And before she had a reply, she heard someone else saying her name. "MESSER, HIIII!!!" How awesome was that she was finally seeing all of her friends again! "Oh, summer was nice, but going back to Hogwarts is BETTER!!" Sophie felt like jumping and flailing her arms, but she stood still with a BIIG smile on her face instead.

"Yes, I am a first year," said Sarah, now no longer 'busy'. She looked at Sophie with a smile. " What year are you in? My name is Sarah Edwards by the way, a rather old fashioned name, yet I do like old fashioned things..."

Amber was ready for this!!! She needed to get away from her mother! She was so ready to spend an entire year at Hogwarts!!!! She was searching for a place to sit on the train, all the the comparents were full so Amber picked the least empty one and sat down and looked out the window.

She was hoping to see some of the other kids that she had met in the Diagon Alley. That would at least make things a little less awkward for her at the very least.

Adam approached the first compartment, JB glued to the side of his hip so that Adam could always feel the dog's body pressed up against his leg as he looked for an open compartment. Seeing that the second one was completely open, Adam pushed open the doors, leading the way in before closing it shut behind him along with all the noise and confusion. Adam looked down at JB and let out a long sigh before sitting down with his over stuffed back pack. Adam leaned his head back, closing his eyes for a moment as JB hopped up on the bench next to him, lying his head on Adam's leg. With a small smile, but still keeping his eyes closed, Adam laid his hand on top of the dog's head.

Aurora hopped on at the front of the train and swept down the corridor in search of a free compartment... AHA! She dumped her satchel and cat carrier on a seat and popped her head out of the door; she should probably have let Delilah catch up but she knew it could be difficult to get a free compartment if you were late.

So, going back to Hogwarts... A large part of Aurora was a little nervous about this year. She was going to have to take her OWLs... And that meant a lot of reading and writing. She wished they could be entirely practical - her dyslexia made the idea of exams so sickening that she wanted to jump off the train and go home before it left - however mild her dyslexia may be. But there was no way she could become a successful potioneer without the proper training.

That wasn't the only part of this term Aurora wasn't looking forward to - there was still the whole boy issue to deal with. She had wanted to ask Tiff about it but Aethelwyne had seemed annoyingly omnipresent until yesterday and she hadn't got the chance to say anything this morning. It worried her that Kennedy could be so jealous sometimes, she felt that he didn't trust her enough. But was she right? Did he actually have a problem with her and the boys or was it just other boys in general? She would have to talk about it some point but she really really didn't want to. And then there was the whole issue with Jonathan, did she really have to tell Kennedy that they'd seen each other already? That could be awkward conversation.. It could actually ended an argument or something and Aurora was not prepared for another one of those arguments. They just weren't worth anything. All they did was cause further problems and make Aurora or Kennedy upset. She wished that they didn't have to deal with that but then maybe that was what it was like to be in a relationship this long. Aurora was not sure that she liked it...
