ANCIENT RUNES LESSON 1


When: Sunday 13th May

Time: 9pm GMT, 5pm EST

Who: This class is for FIRST years and for any other student who did NOT study Ancient Runes last term but wish to do so now. (ooc: This lesson will be a review of the Elder Futhark and the basics of runes which is what was covered last term, so if you attended last term then please do not come to this class).

For those students who did attend class last term, I am setting you an assignment to do while this current class takes place.

With your new rune sets that you made in the last class of last term, I would like you to find a quiet place either in the castle or out on the grounds and take your runes with you.

I would like you to complete the final step of making a rune set and that is to Energise or Consecrate your rune set. You may be as creative as you like. Whether it's a chant, an offering to the gods or maybe you'd like to do a little dance. It's totally up to you. However you think it will help your runes bond to YOU.

This assignment is worth 15 points.

ANCIENT RUNES LESSON 2


This lesson will take place in Groundskeeper Murdoch's Vegetable Patch. On Sunday, 10th June.

The class will begin at about 8pm EST, 12am GMT.

As the class will be outside please dress in comfortable and warm clothes.
