As she walked out of the compartment, Gwendolyn suddenly stopped and held the door open for a few seconds, just enough time to call her cat. No way she was leaving Jinx with Jory’s Pigmy Puff. Na-ah. So, with the black cat in her arms, the third year started walking along the train corridor, glimpsing out the windows. How did a year pass by so quickly? Like… seriously. Gwen couldn’t understand. And… if this year was over… that would mean she was almost a fourth year. Blimey. Fourth?! Already?

The train corridor didn’t seem to be as crowded as ever. Hmm. Perhaps everyone had already found a seat. Pffft. That would be good. That way, Gwen could probably say she’d managed to avoid meeting Zeke again. Great, she thought and a smirk appeared on her face. That was good news.

Still holding the black cat in her arms, Gwendolyn glimpsed out the window. With any luck, she’ll come across some of her friends. Mhm. Hopefully, the third year told herself.

"Excuse me," Daisy said with a smile as she paused in the hallway. A girl with a big black cat was standing looking out the window. Daisy slipped past her and paused. Now, where could he be? She of course, was looking for Damien, who after their last talk in the library had gone missing again. She scratched her knee subconsciously due to the bad habit she had developed due to the wool socks her mom had bought her and she’d been forced to wear all year. She wondered if Damien was avoiding her again after what had happened in the library. But she didn’t know why he would be, seeing as she didn’t fully understand what had happened whilst Daisy was attempting to read Damien’s palm.

Daisy turned around and inquired to the girl at the window. “You haven’t seen a tall, skinny Hufflepuff with wild hair have you?” Pause. “Usually wears a black leather jacket…” Astrid, Daisy’s Chameleon-newt, poked his head out from the knobby bun of Daisy’s auburn hair and blinked his big blue eyes at the girl as if waiting for a response as well.

Maybe I should just look for Tennessee instead... she thought. Tennessee was usually easier to find then Damien.

Train rides were usually long and they dragged on, but if you knew how to occupy yourself the ride was alright. That wasn't much of a problem for Nessie, what bothered the badger was the fact that trains moved. It made almost everything ten times harder... especially eating or drinking.

With a now soaked top, Renesmee walked out to the corridor. What she needed was a cloth or someone that knew how to do magic properly. She had attempted to clean the juice she had spilled with a spell, but she had failed terriblly and instead of just having a wet drops, her whole shirt was wet. This was just great. People must have thought she was really weird now, because who in their right mind would manage to spill juice over their entire top? Nobody, only a crazy Hufflepuff like herself.

She stood still for a few moments then as she had seen nobody of help she began walking upwards hoping to find what she needed.

Astrid squirmed in her hair as he turned watching a girl go by. And then he squirmed some more as Daisy turned to watch her too. She looked a bit – wet?

“Need some help? I think I have a hankie if you’d like it.” At least she could wipe her face off. Daisy started rummaging through her school bag hanging at her hip. There was a clank and her apple wand fell to the floor. “Opps.” Her brother would totally chew her out if he had seen that. Which was why Daisy usually carried her wand in her sock. Only, she was wearing jeans and a cream colored cable knit sweater.

Lewis had been very much lost in thought. Should he go find Kurumi so they could talk things over before they left for the summer break? Was it a good idea to do that? Or should he just leave it like that and not complicate her life further? Now was not a particularly good timing after all. What with her mother and all. So in conclusion, he probably shouldn't go find her. Or not so they could talk anyway. Not about this.

Scratching Vanilla in his arms behind her ears a little absentmindedly, Lewis glanced into compartments at random, hoping to find one of them vacant. He really wasn't too keen on going over the difficult process of making friends right now. It involved so much talking and reading into things and interpreting body language. His head hurt too much already. So an empty compartment it was.

Or you know, finding somebody he already knew worked too.

"Gwen?" Lewis addressed the girl a little hesitantly from behind as he took a small step closer. It WAS her, right? Oooh, and she had her cat with her too! His eyes fell on the black hairball in her arms, checking if it was in fact alright like she'd told him. It didn't look like it had suffered any permanent damage from the spell gone wrong.

Adam was merely strolling around the train corridor just because, though he was out of Hogwarts he assumed his 'job' wasn't done yet,so he was just watching around. He then stopped at the end of the corridor and glanced around to see if anything was going on. Nope. Nothing. Everyone was all chatting so Adam began to make his way back to the Prefect's compartment....

Lewis was still trying to figure out if Gwen's cat looked okay when all of a sudden he felt his own cat shift in his arms a little. Vanilla tensed up and slowly started crawling up his chest so she could look over his shoulder. It took her actually hissing at something to get Lewis' attention, however, finally making him turn his head a little with a confused frown on his face.

There was hardly anybody or anything Vanilla didn't like.

When he found himself looking at the Gryffindor Prefect - the other one obviously - Lewis just shook his head in surprise for a moment, his eyes flickering down to Vanilla for a second. What was WRONG with her? Had the boy done anything to her? She HAD been in the Gryffindor Common Room at some point so maybe she'd met him before.

"I-I'm so sorry. About...her, I mean." Lewis muttered with a small blush, clearly embarrassed by his cat's behavior. Maybe she had been hanging out with Walnut after all. Hopefully she wouldn't start peeing on other people's feet any time soon.

Adam was slightly startled when Lewis-he guessed from what Kurumi had told him mentioned a her. Whenever Adam mentioned a her he usually referred to Kurumi so he took a second to think about why Lewis was apologizing to him. Adam's eyes went big and his heart stopped. Was he mentioning Kurumi or something else?

Oh,his cat, right. "You mean your cat? That's fine-my cat isn't the greatest at making friends either.." He responded back walking closer to the boy.. "I don't know if you know-" Adam stopped in his tracks, Lewis probably knew without even having to know what Adam looked like- "I'm Adam." He finished holding out his hand.

Minerva decided to take a little walk around the train. She watched all the people around so happy and eager to go home. She smiled at the thought of all the fun she might have this summer.

The Prefect - Adam, was it? - seemed confused about something. Or upset. Lewis couldn't quite tell. Maybe he was actually upset about Vanilla hissing at him. It WAS very rude of her and he was going to have to have a word with her later on. Only, usually she was the one with good people skills, so it confused Lewis even more that she would hiss at a Prefect.

"Yes." Who else would he be apologizing for? Oh, so he had a cat too? His eyes briefly flickered back to Gwen. Everybody seemed to have a cat at Hogwarts it seemed. "I know." Lewis replied with a nod, eying the extended hand for a moment before taking it a little hesitantly to give it a shake. "Hi. I'm Lewis." In case HE didn't know. Which he probably didn't now that he got to think of it. How would he?

When Adam saw that Lewis looked at his cat he realized they couldn't just stand there awkwardly, even though it is Adam's speciality. Talk about something they both can talk about. "So, how long have you had your cat for? What type is it-mines a little ginger tabby named Tigger.." There, that was easy conversation. Adam didn't want to bring up something just yet... Oh, Lewis shook his hand and Adam raised one eyebrow. Good. They've acknowledged each other.

As Gwen made her way along the train corridor, she paused for a second and scanned the floor. There he is!, she thought and went to pick up Jinx, who was sort of lost in the mist with all the people who started crowding the place. With the black furball in her hands, the third year was ready to get going.

At first she heard footsteps approaching the place where she was standing, but didn’t give any importance to that. There were rather many people on that corridor, so meh… However, as she made one more step, the young Ravenclaw heard someone started talking… possibly to her. Just to check, Gwendolyn turned her head and looked at the person who was speaking. ‘Umm…’, the third year mused. Tall, skinny Hufflepuff? Erm. Just by that, she couldn’t say she saw him. But then one of those details followed. Waaait- was that a chameleon?

‘Sorry… no’, she shook her head and then looked around. Aaand nope. She seriously couldn’t spot anyone to match that description. ‘If you want to, I could help you search…?’, Gwendolyn added. Since when was she this nice? This last remark she gave shocked even herself. But anywaaay. She wouldn’t mind helping the girl look for someone.

Even though she was pretty useless with helping the girl find her friend, Gwendolyn kept looking around. Meh. Who knows… maybe she could do something to help? As she turned her head to check the place to her right, the third year heard someone call her name. Checking to see who it was, the young Ravenclaw noticed it was Lewis. ‘Lewis… Hi!’, the girl said, with an actuall smile on her face. ‘How are you?’

As she waited for Lewis’ reply, she noticed he was looking sort of puzzled at Jinx. Erm. Why?, she asked herself. Did he grab Jory’s Pigmy Puff? A bit shocked, Gwen drew her attention towards the black cat she was holding, and was kind of relieved she didn’t get to see Furball in his paw. ‘This is your cat, right?’ Stupid question. But Lewis’ cat was cute. Like seriously.

Then, another person she couldn't recognize showed up. So many people with cats here, Gwendolyn thought and pet Jinx on the head, then looked for the last time around. With any luck, she would be able to find the Hufflepuff the other girl was searching.

”No, it’s ok,” she sighed and shifted her school bag’s position on her shoulder. Astrid peeped and gripped the strands of her hair tight as if afraid he would fall off as he turned a bit red in alarm. “It’s ok. He’s not the easiest to find. But if you happened to see someone meeting his description, can you tell him Daisy expects at least one owl this summer?”

It was time to try and find Tennessee. After all, Ten had sorta disappeared herself near the end-of-term and Daisy hoped it was just because she was overwhelmed with exams, and not a result of being in a sugar coma. Most likely, she’d find Tennessee by the treat trolley and she had promised Astrid a piece of liquorish.
A Hufflepuff (not the one Daisy was looking for) popped up and started speaking to the young girl with the cat in her arms. “Hello,” Daisy said cordially and then turned to the Ravenclaw she had been speaking with. “Thank you for your help,” she reached out and gave the cat a scratch by the ears. “But I’ll leave you to your friend now.” She gave both of them a wave and turned down the hallway.
