It had taken her seven years, but Arya had finally managed to be the first one at the new creatures professor's hut. And she didn't even have to get up any earlier! Granted, she always woke early, but this time there were no extra creatures to care for yet and she couldn't find any of her friends to go for a morning swim with, so clearly this was the best time to visit the man. When most were enjoying sleeping in while they still could. Heh.

The Puff prefect knocked on his door in a way that said she was clearly in no hurry, if knocks could talk, and skipped over to the benches. Hm. Eying the colors of said benches, she lounged in as lady-like as she could, and waited for the man... er, woman? To welcome her in.

William wasn't sleeping in, as one might expect of a lazy bum person such as him, because Jack had insisted on going for a walk before the dew had even cleared the grass. Sighing as he set his tea kettle on the range, he walked the few steps to the door of his hut and cracked the door open a smidge.

"Er," wow, a student, and prefect, this early? "Hello." He eyed the Puff's badge and cracked the door open one more inch. "There's no trouble up at the school, is there? I'm pretty sure you'd wanna go to Hadley if that's the case."

Yes, the Puff woman. Not him. Not out here. Not *yawn* this early.

Arya perked up when she heard the slightest sound of a door being opened. Oh it was a man, she thought she'd seen right at the feast. "Morning, Professor." She wasn't tooo loud this early, but she was still her usual cheerful. Heh. Rising from the silver bench, she tweaked her outfit a bit. "No trouble, sir. I came to visit you." Clearly that required earliness.

Smiling brightly, she waiiited for the man to open his door wider and welcome her inside.

Kurumi was rather hopeful about this year, especially when it came to Care of Magical Creatures and its professor. Hey, the man was here and had taken a vested interest in her baking, so that was already two gold stars in Kurumi's book. At least...if the man who had almost leaped onto the table was in fact the Care of Magical Creatures professor.

Seeing as there was no one else there, Kurumi held Walnut against her chest as she knocked softly on the door twice. It hadn't even been 24 hours and already the cat had managed to get all territorial and pee on someone. Perhaps it was pent up frustration left over from last term or perhaps it was just a matter of the feline having serious anger management issues. Either way, it required an intervention.

Displeased at being taken from his kingdom, Walnut's ears were down and his tail swished back and forth as Kurumi took a seat on one of the benches to wait.

Isabelle had told herself that she was going to visit a lot of teachers, well besides her head of house, because Izzy had to face it, Professor Lafay was a little scary. So, the first stop on her list was the Care of Magical Creatures teacher mainly because it was nice outside and she had seen him at the Staff table and had to admit he looked sort of cute...

Hey Isabelle was a legal wizarding adult, she turned 18 in a couple of days, she could think whatever she wanted to. Izzy was entitled to her opinion, and she had to say that her opinion was that there were a lot of good looking male teachers this year. So she was going to visit them. Isabelle went and knocked on his door.

Selena was here for a very valid reason. Nothing she seemed to feed Kent seemed to make him want to eat. At all. And there was a Professor for Care of Magical Creatures and Kent was a Magical Creature, so didn't she go to HIM to ask questions? That was why Kent was sitting on her head right now with Selena as she knocked three times on the door. Three... maybe she should knock six times, for... y'know, being a SIXTH year. Yeah, she was getting old like TallPerson now... it was horrible.

After knocking, she slowly walked to the two benches. Green. Silver. Green. Or. Silver?! Why was it so hard choosing a seat to take?! Green or Silver?! She felt like this could be put in a bad song of some sort that was popular back then because of something called autotune. She groaned. Maybe Kent could decide. Clarke just squirmed in her arms - unhappy with being held. Silly cruppy, he couldn't walk on the ground - he had no shoes. Well... Gr- no wait... Silver was shinier. Gah. Why was it so hard to choose a seat.

Well then... she'd just stand. Yup.

"Hello, Miss Hollingberry," he greeted the prefect first, seeing as she had a grumpy-looking cat with her and all. "What can I do for you....two?"

He HAD been eyeing the wood and flexing his claws now and again.

"Good day, Professor..." She had never been told his last name, so it was just going to have to be professor for now. "This is Walnut, my munchkin cat, and...I was hoping you could...help him..."

William didn't miss grumpy!cats claw flexing. If he thought William was easy to intimidate... he had another think coming. The man had faced a lot worse than a few cat scratches, including burns, bites, and falling off a balcony and onto a cactus. SO.

"Nice to meet you Walnut," Willy addressed the cat next, putting on a cherry smile as he held out a hand for the cat to sniff. "I'm Professor Williamson." That was partly said for Kurumi's benefit too, since he wasn't certain she had caught his name at the feast.

Kitty anger management problems? Will almost yanked his hand away from the cat's mouth but held steady. "Er......" He swallowed. "I'm no animal whisperer, but I'll see what I can do."

He backed back into the office and kicked the door open further behind him, so that she could come in.

Alyssa walked down the path to the new Care Of Magical Creatures Studies new Professor, Professor Willamson's office. She looked forward to attending his classes, but right now she was here to introduce herself and to ask whether the Professor needed help taking care of the magical creatures. She knocked on the door KNOCK! KNOCK! and waited patiently for him to answer.

Gemma walked down the hill headed to see one of the new professors...and not just new...but pretty cute...professors. She smiled her usual smile as her bright blue tennis shoes crunched along the ground. In her right hand, a big blue gift bag was swinging with each of her steps.

She had to admit that she was excited to sneak down to the world of COMC. She hadn't been down here since she was a student at Hogwarts so many years before. She had run past here during her morning workouts but never just to visit. And this year, there was the extra perk of getting to drool stare at visit a new professor.

She walked towards the door and laughed a little at the dinosaur shaped benches...yes they were a little playful just like the COMC Professor had acted at the feast. She could tell he was a trouble maker but she wasn't sure if it was a good, bad, or annoying thing yet. Only one way to find out...yep send the unofficial welcoming crew...well not a crew since it was just one...but send Gemma his way.

She walked up and knocked on the door twice and then sat down in one of the benches surprised that it was actually pretty comfy, even if it was close to the ground. She took a deep breath of the clean and crisp air and waited patiently for the COMC to make his presence known.

The kitty!exam inside his office were taking longer than expected, but all William could think about were the knocks that kept coming on his door. They made him anxious, so he poked his head back out there.

"Hello," he greeted the first of two Slytherins. "How can I help you, miss?"

Then his eyes flicked over to the other Slytherin, the one with a bright, shiny Prefect badge, a squirmy crup in her hands and a pgymy puff on her head. Williamson didn't even blink, because oddly enough, the girl reminded him of himself at that age.

Only much, much shorter.

"Hello.... Prefect...." his third of the day. "We're a little backed up in the office, so I came to see if there's anything I do for you in the meanwhile, or if maybe you'd like to come back later....?"

"Hello," this one was younger, yes? And she... she looked a weird amount like Willy's sister. WHOA. The man almost retreated into his hut right then and there, but waited. "Can I help you? We're a little backed up in the office, so if you want me to owl you when I'm free....we can have a social visit then?"

Just a guess if that's what she was here for.

The fourth person waiting for him was NOT a Prefect OR a student, much to Willy's surprise. It was Gemma, the pretty Muggle Studies professor from the feast. Oh. Oh. A blush was spreading across his cheeks already, just at the sight of her and that... that bag.

He cleared his throat nervously. "Hello, Professor Cerulean.... as I was just telling the students out here waiting, I have two other students and two animals in my hu--- office right now, so it's a bit busy in there, but..... er, is there anything I can do you for? DO FOR YOU?"

Willy corrected himself quickly, his syntax only making him blush all the more.

Gemma smiled at the handsome professor and she thought she saw a little shade of pink on his cheeks but she figured maybe it was from the heat...she smiled her usual sweet and caring smile and held up the bag with both hands kind of dangling in front of her body. "Hello to you as well, W cubed!" she said with a little wink..."Well, I don't mean to interrupt anything, but I just wanted to drop off a welcome to Hogwarts gift..." she said handing the bag to him...

She glanced around at all of the students waiting...well he was a popular one and she knew that the little girls must be lovesick over him...this made her shake her head slightly left and right...."Well, I'll just drop this off...and let you get back to what you were doing..." she said with a smile..."I like to give a fun Muggle themed gift to the newbie professors and I thought you and your two other partners in crime might get a kick out of these..." she said with a shrug of her shoulders and a mischievous smile...she knew the three boys professors might get in trouble with the soft dart Nerf guns but it would be a fun adventure while it lasted...

She really didn't want to keep him so she smiled and said, "I hope you like them and feel free to venture up to the Muggle Studies area to say hello anytime..." she said pushing a stray hair behind her right ear.

W Cubed. Heh. He'd almost forgotten the nickname. Willy cracked open his door just a little more, thinking of inviting Gemma in for some tea before he remembered the cat vs. dog battle about to erupt inside his office. Er, maybe that was not the best idea right now.

Reaching his hand out to accept the gift, his expression one of eager curiosity, William let out a loud guffaw of laughter at the sight of three Nerf guns inside. Muggle toys AWWWWW YEAH what could be better?!

"Thank you so much, Gem--- er, Professor Cerulean," he looked up from the toys, a boyish grin consuming his entire face. "I will definitely swing by for a visit next time I'm in the castle." He nodded, already trying to think of a present to give to her in return.

Diverting his attention from her cute face, Willy set the gift bag just inside the door of the office and gave her a little wave. "Thanks for stopping by!" He hadn't been expecting the veteran professors to be so welcoming, but it was a nice surprise.

"Uh, Professor I'll just make this a quick question. I saw that you have accepted my offer to help take care of the magical creatures. Could I have your permission to work with the Hippogriffs?"Alyssa asked quickly.

Watching his face as he opened the present and seeing his excitement, made her day. She liked when others appreciated the crazy Muggle gifts that she gave them. Her face beamed with excitement at his laugh...two points for Gemma...she would've done a little victory dance but decided that might make her look crazy...soooo...she stuck to doing the dance in her head...

She shook her head when he called her Professor Cerulean..."O you can call me Gemma...no need for formalities..." she said scrunching up her eyebrows slightly.

Before she left she turned and winked at him, "Well it sounds like a date and I look forward to it......don't be a stranger" she said clicking off towards the castle and wondering how long it would take for the handsome professor to come visit her end of the castle.

That way, he could see what sort of abilities she had and if she would even be able to handle a hippogriff. Then again, Williamson had heard rumors of a lesson about hippogriffs taught by some Ministry man last term, so.... in theory, ALL of his students (except the new ones) should be comfortable around hippogriffs.

Noting the squirmy crup, Williamson was just starting to feel a bit relieved that his wasn't the only one who behaved that way when the Prefect announced that she'd rather come back later. Well all right, that had been an option fo her.

"Okay, Prefect.....Z....." hopefully she'd be okay with that name, since it was much shorter, "I'll owl you when my office is free. You're welcome to bring your pets by then."

Isabelle smiled at the incredibly handsome professor. "Hello Professor," Smexyness...er Izzy didn't know his name. "I was just stopping by to introduce myself, Isabelle Dupont," she said smartly sticking out her hand for him to shake. Yep she was going to shake the Professors hand.

But there was one thing she was also here for. "I was also wondering if you could give me advice on crups," she explained. Because Marie wanted a cruppy super badly, same with Izzy. She just wasn't sure there would be time between the two of them when they shared an apartment together. With Izzy at St. Mungos, and Marie at the wizarding University. "But, if you are to busy I could always come back," she smiled not wanting him to get to busy.

Daichi walked over the grounds as he made his way towards the CoMC's office. He wanted to talk to the man about what happened in the lake because he knew he had not acted like himself. Reaching his destination, the Slytherin saw the green and silver benches outside of the hut and sat on the silver one. Placing his bag next to him on the grass he leaned back in the low seated bench and closed his eyes for a moment, wondering how he was going to say this.

Ella walked over to where she knew Professor Williamson's office was and noted the wooden benches where another boy was waiting. She smiled at him shyly as she walked up to the door and knocked twice. When no one answered, she took a seat on the green bench and thought of what she was going to say to the Professor. Yes, she had been upset about the lesson at the lake but she shouldn't have acted like a baby. She felt foolish about how she acted and wanted to express this to the professor. She was beginning to feel quite nervous, as she had never been to a professors office before, let alone to apologize. She starting twirling her long hair around her finger as she waited.

Really, what is taking so long?!

Daichi opened his eyes as he stared at the little hut and turned his head to the side when a girl walked up to him. He noticed her shy smile and he smiled back more brightly , while bowing his head in greeting.

He watched the girl as she knocked on the door.

HE TOTALLY FORGOT TO KNOCK! No wonder it was taking so long! The Professor didn't even know someone was here! "Hey" he said to the Hufflepuff as he hid his embarrassment.

Ella looked at the boy who now had quite a strange look on his face. "I'm Ella. What are you in for?" She smiled, trying to lighten the mood. She didn't think he was in trouble or anything but she was curious.
