If you know the password, you can make your way through a portal in the stone wall of the dungeon and walk into the Slytherin common room:
The ceiling is low and the walls are made of stone, and even though they seem dank and cold, the room is a very comfortable temperature. There are greenish lamps by black leather couches and chairs, with skulls all around. Some of the chairs had been transfigured into Chaise Lounges by previous seventh years, and never turned back. There are windows and as the common room is located under the lake, you can occasionally see mermaids, grindylows and the giant squid swim by. A fire burning hunter green flickers in the fireplace, before the rug covered floor. The Slytherin emblem is everywhere, as pride is one of this house's qualities.
This is where Slytherin students are allowed to unwind, study and chat with one another. There is a straircase straight ahead that leads to a room students may use as a quiet place to study, and ask prefects and high scoring students questions. To the left, a staircase that goes down to the Boys Dorm, and to the right a staircase that leads to the Girls Dorms. Beside each staircase is self inking quill and parchment with the words Attendo Thea Vipera on it.
On the side of the fireplace is a Notice Board for class and homework announcements, as well as general announcements and signup sheet with the words 20 minutes max on it, for those wanting to sit on the couch and stare at the fire all emo like. On one of the coffee tables you see a copy of the Slytherin Scroll, a newsletter only for Slytherin Students.
A box is on an end table, where you may sign up for or to be a Serpent Sidekick, and a podium with a copy of Hogwarts a History, which is where you will learn that even though the whole dungeon had once been flooded, nothing was waterlogged or permanently damaged.
"Besides my parents always said dogs weren't very smart, loyal yes" like a Hufflepuff. She added in her head. "I live in Mayfair" she replied not that far away she thought. Her thoughts then turned to the five story plus basement house she lived in. Her bedroom was on the fourth floor and was pretty big, it sounded silly but it was already decorate din green and silver, Slytherin colours. And of course her favourite part; the four poster bed. "Well the owl isn't technically mine..." Eliza trailed off. Then again it kind of was, her Dad has his own owl at work and her mother hardly needed to send letters, and when she did they usually went far away, to her extended family in Denmark and preffered to use postal owls anyway.
Hey cool! Mayfair is... she said, thinking about the geography of London (which wasn't exactly her brightest subject) Kiiiind of close? I think... she said, laughing. Mayfair... Mayfair... It's kind of near Knightsbridge, right? Which was kind of near Kensington? Ah, whatever. She'd look it up later.

Ohh, good. So at least Tahnee wasn't the only one looking forward to... school! Yeah, I'm looking forward to pretty much everything except History of Magic. Sounds pretty bad... and I have the attention span of a flea so from what I've heard it doesn't exactly sound like my cup of tea! What about you? It was true, out of all the subjects her brother had described to her, History of Magic was the least appealing. History of any sort sounded unappealing to her. But maybe not for everyone! If Hannah liked that class, maybe she could borrow notes and stuff, Tahnee thought, her mind racing.

"So these dungeons are really cool," he said.
Hi! Tahnee said, surprised, as a boy about her age popped up out of nowhere. He seemed to know Eliza, but then again, so did pretty much everyone Tahnee had met so far. Huh...
I know! It's soooo cool that we're under the lake! I adore these crazy windows, she said excitedly, gesturing in the direction of the giant glass windows that put the creatures of the lake on display. *facepalm* I saw the little notation earlier but didn't see it was for me xD

Peeking one eye open he spotted the culprit who'd accused him of sleeping. "Who says I'm sleeping?" he asked lifting his eyebrow as he opened both eyes now. Seeing her pointing, "Nah, beds are soooo overrated."
Smirking back he in return, he noticed she must be around his age, maybe a little older "I'm Isaac, and ye are?"
Oh, he was the transferee student. Raven rarely met any transferee students in her first year.
"Well, Welcome to Hogwarts." said her. "I'm Raven, second year." she continued, she didn't know whether Hades noticed her, because he was very busy with his fluffly red velvet cake.
Finishing off his cupcake, Hades dusted off his hands before standing up. "Thanks," he smiled over at the second year. Hogwarts had a lot of friendly people even in Slytherin. Now, he wondered how friendly Hufflepuffs were, but he wasn't curious enough to make acquaintances with them.
"Pleasure meeting you," nodded the elder boy who currently had a cheerful, but mysterious aura around him.

Woo! More cats! "Why didn't you bring him?" she asked, pulling her knees up to her chest and tucking her feet under her robes. "Sebastian could do with a few friends of his own kind." Not that she had a problem with his friendliness: she just felt bad that there weren't many other cats in the Slytherin common room for him to play with...
"It was Greek," confirmed Hades who was grinning too. "But many Durmstrang students called me Pluto which is the Roman version," basically, his name originated from both Greek and Roman. His middle name however, was Latin and a tribute for one of the late headmasters of Hogwarts.
"I thought it'd be more convenient to bring an owl and bringing two pets along isn't easy," especially when one running around and another won't shut up. But Hades swore he will leave Panda next term!

You're awfully tall to be one," Selena said from her very comfy spot on the couch. Where had Clarke gone!?! WHERE WAS HER CRUPPY?! Eh, she'd find find him later. At least Kent was still there.
Did HE looked a like a firstie to her? Did he? It was obvious he wasn't, was it? Though it'd be the best to keep those thoughts to himself. Hades didn't want to get into trouble in his first day. "Nope. I'm in my fourth year," answered the boy who took his seat again. It worked! His lie worked! Hopefully she wasn't a Legilimens. It was almost impossible to be a Legilimens while still in school, but the chances still existed.
"I'm Hades Vaughn, by the way. From Durmstrang," the introduction was rather late, but at least he did introduce himself. "I see you're our female prefect."
Entering the common room from the dormitories Isaac looked around wondering if Amelia was around or if she was still off settling in. Spotting an empty couch, he sat down on one end stretching his long legs out in front of him onto the floor putting his hands behind his head. It'd been a long day, and he just wanted to relax now. Everyone seemed to be in their own conversations, and he didn't want to interrupt just so he could meet more people. Looking around at the others in the common room, he settled back closing his eyes lost in thought.

Settling in had taken longer than Amelia had anticipated, especially when she discovered one of her brothers stuffed animals in her trunk underneath some of her own things. She'd spent about ten minutes hugging it close to her chest and crying a little before moving on to other things that needed to be put in place.
While coming down the stairs she spotted Isaac on the couch and so immediately began to head over to him, until she spotted another girl talking to him. If he was talking to someone Amelia didn't want to intrude... Therefore she hesitated in walking the rest of the way over until she actually heard what the girl said, and Isaac's response.
Taking a breath, and deciding that they could tell her to get lost if she was intruding, Amelia took the few steps necessary to be close enough for conversation and sending a smile towards both of them asked hesitantly, "Do you mind if I join you?" Because she could be polite and was therefore giving them both the opportunity to tell her to bugger off.

Selena nodded. "Selena Zabini-Riddle, PREFECT, Sixth year," Selena said beaming. AWwwh, look at all the ickle TALL second years. Merlin's beard, they were all tall. They needed to learn how to SHRINK and be tiny. Like her. "Were you in Hogwarts last year?" Because Sel never saw her around. So... maybe trans- naaaah.
Raven wanted to giggle when the little Prefect said Hades was a very tall firstie, but she didn't.
Wait, Selena Zabini-Riddle? She was familiar with the name. But where? She tought hard. OH! she remembered the pygmy puff girl whom she met last year in dorm, and she was the prefect.
WAIT??!!! A PYGMY PUFF FANATIC NOW BECAME A PREFECT?
*sigh*
"Oh yeah, I spent my first year here." said her calm.

"No, but I've just explore the new things in the ground." said Raven. She found the duck pond, topiary garden, and the bad thing is... Then didn't have the Giant Treehouse.

Raven stared to Hades, he looked very mysterious. Maybe because he was a Durmstrang transferee huh?

Katie sighed, "I know, but we must make sure we meet up the next summer! Even though thats ages away" Katie laughed, so what it was ages away? That was a good thing really, she wasn't leaving Hogwarts again anytime soon, splendid. "Even better, there shall be Candy" Katie smiled, she knew how much Selena liked sugar so clearly there was going to be sweets, because everyone liked sweets, and if they didn't they must be crazy.
Selena giggled and nodded, finding Clarke on the ground, she scooped up the cruppy and started to pet him. Hopefully he'd fall back asleep. "How was your summer?" Selena asked, tilting her head slightly to the side as Clarke wriggled out and started to sniff the pygmy puff. Well... at least Clarke wasn't running around somewhere. It was good to have a ground animal, right?
Candy.
Magic word.
"I'm there," she replied, beaming. No candy = no party. Candy = one's life was complete.

"History of Magic sounds pretty boring to me too." She wasn't going to go there just yet about her view on Muggle Studies. She would leave that alone for now. "I'm most looking forward to DADA, Potions, and Transfiguration." She was sure that she would get tops marks in these subjects. "I'm also looking forward to flying. Are you into Quidditch?" She hoped she was. So far she had not met anybody else that was.
"Really? I suppose it's different for me, I always was a Slytherin. My parents are, my grandparents are. All of my family are. Our whole house is decorated in Slytherin colours. And for the past eleven years that was the certain thing in my future; I would be a Slytherin. Once or twice I thought I might be in a different house just to annoy my parents but.... I'm a Slytherin girl." she finished. But thinking about it, Slytherin was the only house she'd ever considered.
Sammy listened as the girl droaned on and on about how Slytherin her family was. He started to lose focus with the amount of times the word 'Slytherin' was used. He nodded in the correct places and smiled when she was done. "That's cool. The only other magical person in my family, Wally, went to school in America. So I'm the first one to go here."

Taking the necessary steps closer Amelia reached out towards the Cruppy and began to rub it's head gently and cooing at it. It was so cute. So cute that she even forgot to introduce herself until Isaac began too.
Amelia's face lit up a bit as he began to say girlfriend, and then fell as he simply called her his friend. Maybe they needed to talk about that but really if he was going to start saying it he should just continue on with it and he HAD kissed her and asked her out on a date. MEN!
"Amelia Serenity Pendragon, fifth year Slytherin and newbie who hates anything to do with the indoors, and it's very nice to make your acquaintance" Amelia decided to introduce herself considering the fact that Isaac had kind of not done a good enough job for her. She was also tempted to say, 'and this idiots girlfriend' but refrained from doing so.
Was she alright? "Why would you think I wasn't?" Amelia asked, not knowing why she wouldn't have looked alright. Unless she had tear tracks on her face, which Isaac could mention in front of the girl for all she cared. She was too tired and homesick to care about much really, even if she was trying to sound upbeat.
And even though she was kind of annoyed at Isaac at that minute she pried herself away from the crup and shot a smile at Selena before moving to sit beside Isaac and leaned into him, this time in exhaustion, unlike when she'd done so in the Great Hall earlier.

Well, maybe The Prefect forgot that they ever met eeach other (and actually Raven forgot where they ever met too )
"Hmm.." she nodded. "And by the way who's the male prefect?" she asked, because she didn't saw any boy wearing the badge.

SPOILER!!: Selena
"Coolios! I'm Selena, Sixth year," Selena said beaming. Because it seemed like this seconder was NICE. Selena liked nice people. Nice people were... well... nice. "And thank you! If you have any problems feel free to come to me, but if not and you wanna bother someone... don't let me know," Selena said nodding her head. It seemed like GOOD advice, no?
Zhenya shrugged her shoulders. Why would she bother someone? She wasn't like that. But she really liked that Selena would offer help if she needed it. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Just curiously, what's your favourite lesson?" she asked. Maybe if it was Divination she could help her... but she didn't think Divination would be anyone's favourite.
SPOILER!!: Raven
"Hey Zhenya!" Raven greeted her beloved bestie. "Doing some fun around here? Don't you see Desiree?" she asked to her since she didn't meet Desiree in feast or another place.
Zhenya quickly glanced around her. No, as a matter of fact... she hadn't seen Desiree. "I wonder where she is... maybe she is sleeping," she said.

Kennedy entered the common room from making one of his first rounds. Well, not Prefect rounds, but his own. He wanted to become as familiar with the castle as much as he could. So far, he had the ground floor set, but that was only because the kitchens were there and he got hungry half way through his rounds.
He silently made his way to the leather couch and sat down, spreading his arms on his side. Ah yes, this was life. He just needed a large cup of orange juice and a fun video game to pass time. Too bad technology didn't function properly at Hogwarts.

Oh, well.
Harlow had been out exploring the castle and the grounds, and now she was tired. It was hard work being this small and trying to climb up on things that were built for regular sized people.
She walked into the common room and looked around. There were a lot of new faces and she wanted to meet all of them she really did, but she was two seconds away from dropping where she stood. Harlow spotted Kennedy and she walked over to him.
He was sitting on the sofa and she climbed onto the couch and laid her head in his lap. The same way she would do her dad after he got home from work. "Hi Kennedy," she yawned slipping her thumb into her mouth.

Zhenya moved to sit down into a corner by herself. She pulled out her Herbology text book to flip through and see if she could learn something new for her plant, which she had planted last year. She wanted it to be healthy and wonderful, so she flipped and flipped until she saw a potion for everlasting nourishment!

Trust me, your lucky to be an only child. Anyways, I don't know what else to say. I don't like bragging much cus I don't have much to brag about.
Eliza wasn't totally sure how to respond. "Oh." she said simply. Their conversation was starrting to dty up, which was probably inevitable seeing as Eliza wasn't sure they had much in common.

Hi! Tahnee said, surprised, as a boy about her age popped up out of nowhere. He seemed to know Eliza, but then again, so did pretty much everyone Tahnee had met so far. Huh...
I know! It's soooo cool that we're under the lake! Imagine we see the giant squid or something and we're just sitting in he're doing homework! she said, a dreamy look on her face. I'm Tahnee, by the way, she said, extending her hand once more.
"Yeah nearish Knightsbridge, and Hyde Park" Eliza added "I got a Patented Daydream Charm from Weasleys Wizard Wheezes, so if it gets that boring" Eliza joked, she'd probably never use in class anyway. "I'll try it..... but I might not be very good at it." Eliza's father had a hugy library full of books and a lot of them were about History. They'd always seemed pretty dull to Eliza though.

"I wonder what they're going to teach us in Muggle Studies? Do you reckon it will be like muggle school? Because if it is then I'll be bad at it because my parents never sent me" she didn't mind though, she'd much preffered wandering Diagon Alley.

It was good to have a ground animal, right?
Candy.
Magic word.
"I'm there," she replied, beaming. No candy = no party. Candy = one's life was complete.
Fourth year? Selena could remember her fourth year... oh yeah, pulled out of Hogwarts. Thank you mother. "You take your OWLs next year," Selena said, pulling a face. She didn't like them. She was, however, very much satisfied with what she had received. OWLs... however... they were still annoying examinations that tested nothing because who knew if one would really need their OWLs later on in life.
"Selena Zabini-Riddle, Sixth Year," Selena said, grabbing her cruppy just before he licked her pygmy puff again. That wasn't pretty. Selena looked down at her badge. Shiny. "Yuppppp, it's a shiny badge!" Selena exclaimed, beaming. Selena did like shiny things. WAIT. Durmstrang. "Durmstrang people came during the triwizard tournament," Selena said in a matter-of-fact voice. But really, she hadn't cared too much about them.
Hades though... hmm... "Do you have a nickname?' Because Selena liked nicknames.
SPOILER!!: Issac & Amelia
Selena shrugged her shoulders. Because he was lying down with his eyes closed, maybe? Eh, Selena wouldn't say that... at least not to his face. Because she was NICE. "Welllllll.... now you know where the dormitories are!" Selena said proudly smirking in reply. Beds? Overrated? Psht. Had he ever spent an entire morning sleeping in till twelve?! Obviously not. Because he thought beds were overrated. He could sleep on the couch then. No one stayed there at night, right?
She was just about to reply before a girl walked over and looked a bit... hesitant? Was that the word? "HAI!" Selena exclaimed, smiling at the girl. Selena did like people. Apparently, so did Clarke because the cruppy let out a little bark at the girl, distracted from the pygmy puff. That was good right? Mind? Psht. Who minded company? "Come sit!!!" Sel said, scooting over and putting Kent on top of her head to make more room. Oh wait. Boy named Isaac asked a question.
Shiny badge. No distractions. She had a question to answer!
"I'm Selena Zabini-Riddle. Slytherin Prefect, future ruler of this universe, sixth year, awesometastical," Selena said, introducing herself. Because that was who she was. Yup.
Selena still smiled at the seconder. She looked a bit surprised? Amused? She wasn't quite sure but it was clear that the seconder was thinking about SOMETHING. Did Selena care? Oh, well.
Katie nodded, there was so many new things in Hogwarts, but places had been lost which was sad BUT THERE WAS A DUCK POND NOW! and Katie couldn't be happier. "Have you seen the duck pond how cool is it?" Katie smiled brightly, yes she was excited about ducks, but they were just so adorable and epic!!!
"My summer was good, hanged out with some people, um, stuff happened" Katie said, she remembered back, remembering that Johnathan had kissed her that summer, which was the big thing that had happened in her summer.
Katie looked at a boy who she had seen around Hogwarts, and might have met? She couldn't really remember, but she had seen him, she gave him a wave, as she saw a girl go over and talk to him so she left him be.

Aurora grinned, "Good guessing there!" she said, very proud of herself. "You were at Durmstrang?" she asked in surprise. "My sister went there! But she graduated years ago..." And unless Tiff was secretly famous there was no chance of him knowing her. "Why'd you leave?"
Sebastian had apparently got bored of them and gone to lie in front of the fire, sprawled out like a cat rug. "Well he would never let me leave him at home." Not that she ever would, but Sebastian often followed her out of the house if she was going down to the village, he wouldn't hesitate from jumping in the car with them if they were on the way to Kings Cross. "And I kinda need my owl, I have a big family so I write a lot of letters." she explained. "He's called Sage. If you ever see a particularly grumpy looking Eagle Owl then it's probably him."

Tahnee nodded excitedly. Heck yes! I'm trying out for the team this year! I don't think I'll make it but I think it will be good to have some experience on how the tryouts work and stuff, you know? She hadn't been playing Quidditch for that long, but she sure did love it! She practiced with her dad and brother every minute of her free time! Her two favorite positions so far were Beater and Seeker. Beater because, well, who wouldn't love hitting things with bats?! And Seeker was obvious, because you were basically the star player with everyone depending on you to catch the snitch! Are you? she asked, hoping she had finally found someone she could talk Quidditch to!

Ahaha I think I may have to borrow that sometime! Tahnee laughed. How had she missed something as awesome as a Daydream Charm?! She and her brother had explored Weasley's Wizard Wheezes top to bottom in the search for the perfect items to take to school with them. She liked to think of herself as an old pro.

"I don't think I'm going to use it for a while yet though... Don't want to get a detention already!" she joked. Really though she'd hate to be the first of them to get a detention. You want house points, she reminded herself firmly. Housepoints. Eliza couldn't wait to watch that hourglass fill up, and at the end of the year, Slytherins would be announced as winners of the house cup. Again. Yes, that would be her goal, to win the house cup every year she was here.
Fourth year? Selena could remember her fourth year... oh yeah, pulled out of Hogwarts. Thank you mother. "You take your OWLs next year," Selena said, pulling a face. She didn't like them. Did she has to remind him about the O.W.L.'s? Did she has too? "... Yes," responded the younger Snake disgustedly. He was sure he was going to fail his History of Magic. He never passed the subject. Not even once! But a Poor should be better than a Troll. Yup. That was good enough. Sixth year meant she must have finished her O.W.L. "How was it?" meaning the O.W.L.
Durmstrang and Triwizard Tournament... Hades heard about those before. "Unfortunately, I didn't come to the Tournament," he shrugged. Nick names? Was that even necessary? "Pluto. Which is the Roman version of my name," replied Hades with arms crossed in front of him. "But I prefer going with Hades."

Her sister at Hogwarts? Never saw anyone looked like Aurora there, so it must've been before his time. Perhaps Vulcan knew, but Hades didn't care about him anymore. "My family decided to return to England," he answered. Finally they were settling down somewhere permanent! The nomad life was truly exhausting!
Blue eyes followed the white cat as Sebastian headed for the fireplace and sprawled out his paws. Hades chuckled at the feline's adorable attitude. "Who's Gunnar?" enquired the blonde upon hearing the new name. Aurora's another pet? And she mentioned a grumpy owl. "I think Sage and Panda will make good friends," and left him alone and stopped nagging for rodents.
