On the grounds next to the vegetable patch, an area has been squared off for a potato sack hopping relay race between the houses. Stuck in the ground are about 20 poles in house colors with some distance between them in a straight line. The professors have also put up a starting line where each house has cases packed to the brim of good sized potato sacks at the students' disposal. There is no shortage of sacks. The cases will re-stock themselves if the need is dire. Each student is supposed to weave themselves around and between all the poles from left to right in a zig zag motion and then back to their friends. You have to hop until your legs get numb and really give your all for your team!

Everyone receives tokens for participating.
1 quality post= 1 token
2 quality posts= 2 tokens
However if your posts are lacking effort then they will earn you fewer tokens.
Crossing the finish line= 1 token
And the winners also get bragging rights.
The rules:
This is an RP event; to get some tokens you have to RP and show some effort.
Each potato hop team has to consist of 3 members.
Each team has to come up with a name for their team and post who their members are in their first post.
The game will run over 3 rounds to allow everyone to find a team and take part.. Each student has to hop in a potato sack down the field and around all 20 poles and back to where he/she pats the next member on the shoulder (to "tag" them in so to speak).
When all 3 members have completed their legs, you have to sit down to show professors you are done.
Each round lasts 3 days, and after one round is finished the next round will open. Each user has to post as many quality posts and as times as they like, to reach the end. By "quality" we mean at least one good sized paragraph, 4 lines of text, and a bit of effort put into the posts.
We know that in the heat of the moment, adrenaline will run high but please, no pushing, shoving, or use of magic to get advantages. Bad behavior isn't tolerated!

Oh, he had a hard time keeping himself from jumping up and down when he heard there was going to be potato sack races! Hurrying over he found himself the first one there, well besides the professor. He didn't have a team already planned, he just hoped someone would ask him to be on their team! Standing near the pile of sacks next to the Slytherin case of sacks, Isaac looked around waiting for others to join him.

In her old muggle school, there used to be an annual sports event wherein potato sack races were held. And it used to be so much fun! It would look so funny to see students hopping in sacks, some falling..
Anyways, she came back to present and entered the arena. Two students were already there. So could they three form a team?
Laura stared at the Professor, she wasn't sure she liked this Professor much she seemed scary. "How are you today Professor?" Laura smiled. "Are you take part today?" Laura had no idea who's group she was going to be in but she would find a team somehow.

Yup, it was official. They were team one. Her and her new friend from Gryffindor Ira and another Slytherin student. "Lafay didn't even allowed us to choose. She did the honors," she commented as she chuckled slightly. She faced the Slytherin boy, "Nice to meet you Isaac, my name's Beezus." she introduced herself also.
Now..what should their team be called? One from Ravenclaw, one from Gryffindor and one from Slytherin. "Err--Slyffinclaw?" Beezus suggested. Combining them seemes ridiculous. "Or Ravethindor?"

POTATO SACK RACE!
Potato was all Adam needed to hear to get into the game. He went sprinting down to the area in which it was being held. There didn't really seem to be anyone at the event yet, so Adam sighed deeply. Did his fellow classmates an lions not find Potatos, sacks an racing interesting. He didn't exactly know anyone here an the people that had arrived had already joined up.
"Where is everyone?" He mumbled to himself as he began to sway back an forth as he always had done.
Gustav was told to be here, he hadn't really know what to do. It was the first time he heard of this potato-sack race, he wondered how he played this game. He wondered if he need to carry the potato sack and race with it. Must be really heavy...he thought amusingly.
He waited to be called so he know which team he had to team up with.
"You lot! You will be team one." She said pointing at the three.

"And you three, you'll be team 2..." She said and looked around.
"I'm going to see how many more students come before we begin round 1." She said
They weren't even allowed to choose a team themselves? Oh fine! Anyways, Ira looked at her two partners. Ira knew Beezus but didn't exactly knew the other boy.
Anyways, this was a chance of fun and to make new friends! So be it..

It seemed Gwen didn't know the game either.This might be quite difficult for them both...hopefully the professor would explain the game objectives more to them soon.
Gustav turned to look at the potato sacks laying on the ground not far from them. He wondered where were the potatoes since there were none found in the area. Perhaps they would be trying to race each other to find the most numbers of potatoes to put in the bag.
Gustav overheard that they were to form a group of three and need to have a team name.
" I think we need one more member and a team name..."he said to her. He looked around to see if there was anyone want to join their team.
Kendra walked into the potato sack race area soon after arriving at the grounds, late as usual. The Ravenclaw was a little lost at what to do, due to the fact everyone seemed to already to be in teams whilst at the moment she couldn't find anyone she knew. The only way she was going to take part was to systematically go around and try and find someone who needed a team mate. If there were any.
