It so didn't feel any better.

Nora thought, hoped, that after a year spent around the creepy dungeons, she might as well get used to them. But this long summer holiday did no good. The place still gave her the creeps.

The girl wandered around the corridor, in the hope that those silly rules from last term were gone. What did they have to do? Make themselves heard and yell and so on? Nahh, she wasn't doing that anymore, although she'd be grateful to be aware of anyone creeping behind her.

Feeling like he should get to know places in Hogwarts better, Hades took a stroll at the dungeon after submitting Quidditch tryouts application and that thing for Care of Magical Creature he wasn't quite sure of the use. The dungeon looked spooky, but it wasn't as spooky as it was at Durmstrang.

As he was about to turn right at the corner, he saw Nora, the girl he met at Florean Fortescue the other day walking alone. Quickly, he backed off and leaned against the wall to hide himself. This was a brilliant time for a joke. Hades imitated the Parseltongue, hoping that he'd scare Nora.

What was she doing there?

She didn't even have Elijah with her to keep her company or something, and she was all alone, wandering around the dungeons. And then she heard it. It was right behind her, and whoever it was, was TALKING IN PARSELTONGUE.

"EEEEEKK!"

Quickly clapping her hands over her mouth, realizing that there was even an echo returning her shriek, Nora made herself spin around and look at... Hades. "H-how..." Moving a hand over her chest, where her heart was threatening to jump out, she felt her eyes widen and her face turn pale. Paler than usual. "T-tell me y-you're not a... and then I'm a..." No no no no no, she couldn't speak Parseltongue, could she?

Hades started to chuckle after Nora screeched in fear. Then, he bursted into laughter and banged his hand on the wall once. All of the noises he made echoed on the cold, stone wall. "You should've looked at your face!" said he, almost calmed down. However, Nora's guess made him laughed even more.

"Course I'm not!" was she mental? If he was really a Parselmouth, he would've kept it a secret for the rest of his life. "I sneaked into the restricted section of Durmstrang's library once," and found a book about Parseltongue. It was an interesting language to learn, and fun too. Pretty useful to scare off people. "What are you doing here?"

Oh, that was just great. He was LAUGHING.

"I'm sure it was funny," Nora frowned, crossing her arms across her chest. "How could you do this?" No, she wasn't even impressed that he managed to sneak into the restricted section at Durmstrang, which was an insane thing to do, by the way.

"I was trying to get used to this creepy part of the castle, and you are obviously not helping," she pouted, glaring at the boy before her eyes. She almost felt an uncontrollable urge to curse him, aware of the fact that Lafay had to be somewhere nearby.

Were all girls in Slytherin a bunch of grumpy heads and loners? Sierra... Nora... "Just to make sure you get used to it," said Hades calmly with his arms crossed over his chest. "I plan to use it more during Halloween. Now that you know it was me, you won't be too scared again," but then again, it was unlikely he would scare many Slytherins. The prank was initially intended for Hufflepuff who dared roaming around the Slytherins' territory.

She said she was going to get used to the... Creepy part of the castle. Creepy? "I don't think it's too creepy," said he with hands in pockets as he looked around. "Durmstrang's dungeon was a lot creepier, don't you think?" If she did ever been there, she'll know. Even the entrance door was quite creepy.

More during Halloween? Seriously? Was he trying to make others have heart attacks?

"Thank you for telling me," she really was grateful, "but I don't think it would be any better a second time." Didn't he already figure out she was easily scared? A shame for the Slytherins, huh? Only at that thought, she knew her cheeks must have turned bright red by then, but she hoped Hades wouldn't notice. You know, the place wasn't exactly brightly lit.

Durmstrang's dungeons? "Just as creepy," she mumbled under her breath, taking her eyes off him. Now that she thought about it... she left that school because of its creepiness, and there she was, wandering around some other creepy places. Great.

"So," Nora started, trying to cheer herself up, "how many victims did you have before me?" Not exactly working. She wasn't laughing. She wasn't giggling. But at least there was some colour in her cheeks, and the terrified look on her face was gone.

Pity she wasn't into this kind of jokes. "Then, I'll tell you when I'm off scaring people," because he didn't want someone to faint because of him. If someone did, he needed to use the Memory Charm. Although that will be too risky seeing he hadn't fully mastered the spell yet. "I wonder what they have under here," asked Hades as he walked nearer and passed her, deeper into the dungeon.

Victims, yes... "A few, I think. Lost count of 'em," he waved his hand lazily as he walked. He didn't count how many people became the victim of his accidental prank. Hopefully Sammy didn't tell anyone. Hades didn't want a bunch of nerds (Ravenclaws) came throwing thick books at him. "You're coming?" he stopped and glanced behind as had already been left quite far behind.

"That would be gr-"

Nora's voice trailed off as she noticed Hades walking past her. Was he leaving? Just like that? Turning around to look at him, she noticed that he was actually on his way along the hall, deeper into the creepiness. "Where are you going?"

He then said something about losing count of his victims, when Nora hurried along the hall after him. What was he trying to do or find? Or... oh, no. Suddenly stopping, she wondered whether this was another one of his pranks. Oh, yes. He wanted her to follow him into the darkness and scare her again, didn't he? "I know what you want to do," she said stubbornly, standing there with her arms crossed. Nope, she wasn't going to fall for this one.

Grumpy heads... Paranoids... What else was there? "I'm gonna take a look what Hogwarts has in the dungeon," he said continuing to walk deeper into the dungeon. If they were lucky, maybe they will find mysterious items. Hades whistled along the way with his hands in pockets. It was cold down here.

The sound of Nora aftering him made the blonde turned his head around. What did she mean she knew what he was going to do? Girls can get pretty weird sometimes... And stubborn too. "Ok, then. Suit yourself," smirked Hades at the same time lifted his shoulder and walked again. If Nora didn't want to come along, he couldn't force her.

What could possibly have Hogwarts in its dungeons, other than the impressive spider collection? Maybe even a baby Acromantula; you'll never know. And... there he was, whistling on his way even deeper into the hall, a slight echo coming back to where Nora had stopped.

Oh, and that was just great. Now she had to choose from staying alone in there, or following Hades and possibly falling into his trap. She hated herself for saying it, but... "Wait," the girl mumbled, hurrying once again towards him. "You're not leaving me there all alone."

Leaving her? So, that was this all about. "Hey! I'm not that cruel!" snapped the boy. He didn't want to get into trouble by living a student alone in the dungeon. If it was a Hufflepuff, then it was a totally different case. He might even lead them down here and purposely disappeared out of their sights before using secret passages to escape. Sounded like a good plan to him! That was another reason why Hades was down there in the dungeon; to find secret passages.

He wasn't going to tell Nora about the passages, of course. He didn't want her to run off telling Lafay because even the Head Snake's name was creepier than the dungeon.

"W-what did I s-say?" As soon as Hades snapped at her, Nora's eyes went as wide as they could possibly go, and she barely found her voice, which turned out to sound all shaky.

But anyway, what was wrong? Okay, maybe he was not her favourite fellow Slytherin after that prank, but all she wanted was company. And... there he was, yelling at her and saying that he was not that cruel. What did that mean, anyway?

"You said I'm going to leave you alone and scare you when we're deeper in the dungeon," said him who decided to continue to make his discovery, thus leaving the girl standing there as he continued to walk. He wouldn't remain still at a place in the dungeon for too long. Who knew what were in there? Maybe a basilisk, but that was most unlikely.

His hand touched something in his pocket and Hades pulled the thing out. Oh, goody! It was Drooble's Best Blowing Gum!

Oh. All she could think about was that he might have taken everything the wrong way. Either that, or she was really, really annoying. Probably the latter. "I'm sorry," Nora spoke hesitantly, approaching him once again, and hoping she was not getting on his nerves. One could only hope. "I didn't want to sound mean or rude or -"

When her voice trailed off, she nervously bit her lower lip, realizing she was about to start rambling, and she didn't want that either. "Do you want me to leave?" There. She blurted it all out, even if it sounded stupid.

Confusion struck him as Nora apologised. "It's fine," he shrugged. It was him who started it anyway, but Hades didn't look like blurting it out. "Well, you can't say I want you to follow me. But if you want to follow, you can follow. If you don't, it's fine," nodded the boy. He wasn't the type to force people to follow his orders, but manipulating them, yes. It was his specialty.

Laci, was feeling a little gloomy about trying to get used to school so far. AND a little gloomy that her common room was in a DUNGEON! Why couldn't they have circus tents as common rooms? Still she walked with her bouquet of gerber daisies ready to pass them out to any newly found friend..., Though she hasn't met many yet......... Sadface.

Arabella-Marie had no idea why she was down in the dungeons she came across a slytherin girl who looked new and said "Are you okay there" Arabella-Marie wasnt sure why she was down in the dungeon again

A voice? A girl? A possible FRIEND?! "Oh yes, I'm well thank you, I guess I just thought NORMAL school would be this challenging to grasp." Homeschool? MUCH easier. Nonetheless, this could be a possible friend PIPE UP LACI! She took a pink gerber daisy from the bouquet and held it out to her. "I'm Laci, nice to meet you!"

Arabella-Marie smiled and said "Nice to meet you Laci, I am Arabella, so how are you settling into Hogwarts?"

"Arabella... That's a pretty name." Laci was still holding the pink flower out waiting for Arabella to take it unless she didn't want it. "Not so well actually, turns out 'schoool' has rules.. More than I can count. Why are there rules anyways?" This place should be run like a circus hmph.

Arabella-Marie took the flower that Laci was giving her and said "Thanks Laci, i know but the rules are here to keep us in line and anyway its not us students who make the rules anyway"

She coughed. There was something smelling not so good around. She wondered what it was, but when it hit her that it was the Slytherin's territory then she quickly eliminated the thought.

She didn't like being in the Dungeons but she went anyways.. Trying to see if the Potions Laboratory was already open since there was a certain potion her cousin told her about that she badly wanted to brew. But turns out, it was still closed. Professor Lafay wasn't also around and she didn't want to go to her office either. The Potions Mistress might once again ask owl feathers for entrance.

And that was why she was heading back up now.

Cough, cough, cough.... as she went.

Jonathan wanted to visit Professor Lafay for the day. Wait! Was there something to talk about in the first place? Oh yeah, it's something about the Potions that he was curious about. His father did give him a new book. He figured if he wanted to learn more about it, why not ask the expert herself?!

Walking on the corridor, Jonathan noticed a shadow of someone... and apparently coughing. As she got nearer, Jonathan saw her. Blink. Blink.

Wasn't she Erin's friend? She saw her once with her and OHHHH!!! Now he remembers, on the opening feast. She talked to him with Daichi. Why was she coughing though? Ravenclaw doesn't like walking among the Dungeon corridor?

Jonathan looked at her.
