Corey's trunk was loaded on already and so he was free to roam, his brand new wand (of some unknown description) shoved in his pocket, and a skateboard under the other arm.

He figured he probably should sit down and all, but Corentin figured he'd scope the whole train out first, and choose the best spot. And he was gonna pretend like he was an old pro at this, in case anyone got too curious.

Hmm...shouldn't she be doing something?

Like, perhaps, patrolling the corridors to make sure no first years had accidentally on purpose caught an owl on fire or something? Maybe...Maybe not. Well, she could at least stroll up and down the hallways and see if she could spot any friends she didn't get the chance to see in Diagon Alley.

As she walked through the front and middle sections of the train, the Ravenclaw prefect smiled a friendly greeting to those she passed. She knew some and had no clue who others were. Maybe introductions were in order this term. Another maybe.

Letting out a breath of air that sent a few flyaway hairs out of her eyes, she let her eyes roam the corridor. Truth be told she had ulterior motives. Very ulterior motives. It just so happened that when she'd dropped off her luggage in the Prefect compartment she'd realized that her bag of goods was missing...she still hadn't found it either. Which only meant one thing...either they'd been candy-napped or the more probable answer...she'd dropped them.

Of all things, why'd it have to be that that fell? Why couldn't it have been a textbook or cauldron or something? All those things that had her name nicely emblazoned on them.

That one looked suspicious.

Corey side eyed her and kept a grip on his skateboard. The feel of the grip tape under his fingertips distracted him and he considered trying it out up the corridor. That could be fun.

Harlow was right as rain and back to her happy self. She hated being in the pits and making a new friends always made her smile. And the chocolate frogs didn't hurt. She was making goo goo eyes at Harry Potter who wasn't too happy in her sticky hand.

She pulled a napkin out of the pocket on her poodle skirt and cleaned off her hands. As a person who always wore white she kept a army of napkins tucked all over her clothing. Her mom had sewn special pockets in all her clothes for just that purpose. "Oh how peculiar." she exclaimed when she spotted a boy with a muggle skateboard tucked under his arm.

Harlow walked up to him her skirt flouncing around her thin short legs. "Are you Tony Hawk?" it was the only muggle skateboarder she knew of.

"...?" Corey looked around and didn't see anyone right away, not until he looked down a bit and then the little kid was hard to miss. Giant skirt, and the kind of smile that seemed bigger than the face it was on.

He stared at her, for the question.

"Muggles don't live to be over a hundred and look as good as me." That was a no.

Corey grinned though and petted his skateboard a bit. Yeah. It was awesome. And unlike most everything else he owned, he'd actually paid for it himself.

Erin came out of the compartment door and walked a as she saw a girl her age eating something. She felt like she wanted to snatched it out of her. She's really hungry. She noticed, she was eyeing someone then suddenly talked to him; the one who had a skateboard with him.

Then her stomach growled again, she needed to find the food trolley. Without thinking she hurried to them and asked, "Excuse me," she interuupted then continued, "Do you happen to know where the food trolley is?"

Harlow waited for the boy to finally see her. Most people just looked in their line of sight and she was closer to the ground that most people.

Her small jaw dropped open, "Are you really over a 100 years old?" she asked. Harlow wanted to touch him. She didn't know why but she kept her hands to herself. Cuba poking her taught her that no one liked to be touched without invitation. He looked so young, he must drink the elixer of life or something. And then her eyes got really big and round as she thought of that. Wow, he must be really special. "Wow," was all she managed to squeak out after all her thoughts stopped rumbling around in her head.

She looked up as she heard another voice. Harlow pointed down the corridor. "It's that way," she said just in case the girl wasn't clear on where to go.

How on earth had she gotten here on time and then nearly forgotten to board the train. Right this was India bright-as-a-doornail Johanson we were talking about. Thats how.

She pulled her trunk ehind her and looked around. She was going to find a compartment somewhere - anywhere.

As she heard her say it, "Thanks!" then hurried toward the point she directed.

Once she decided that she won't let go of Elijah for his own safety, Nora poked her head out of the compartment in which she was sitting, to look around the corridor for any familiar face; not that she got the chance to meet many soon-to-be school mates.

... but there was no one that she could recognize.

The girl sighed, but walked out of the compartment, still with her tiny lizard shielded by the outside world of her hands, and stopped by the closest window to just admire... whatever it was to admire. Surprisingly, she didn't feel very hyper, as she was most of the time, even though her inner self was jumping up and down because of all that excitement. Just a few hours left, and she'll finally see Hogwarts.

Daphne walked down the corridor of the train, dragging the luggage along with her. Ugh. Most of the compartments seemed to be full. She continued walking until she found a nearly empty compartment. Great. But..she noticed a girl standing outside. It was polite to ask the younger girl if she would mind Daphne taking a seat. "Hello. I was wondering if...." And, she stopped talking.

Daphne eyes went wide when she noticed that the girl had a lizard in her hand. A freaking lizard.

Before she could stop herself, she screamed. "ARRRRRGGHHHH.." She walked back a few steps before she unfortunately tripped over her luggage and down she went. "Oooh.." The sixteen year old groaned she tried to get up. Honestly, how do people have lizard as pets? EW.

Fee was on her way to look for a compartment.Finally they would go back to Hogwarts,it was amazing.The blonde really couldnt wait.Okay well it wasnt that easy to walk around with her massive trunks,but that wouldnt hold her back.Hopfully the blonde would find an empty compartment soon though.

Taking a little break the Slytherin let her trunks down and pushed a strand of her hair back behind her ear.Pheewwwww.Maybe she should wait for the food lady to come here?But that could take ages.Meehh.But than again she couldnt be here for too long either.Siiigh.

The girl didn't really notice that someone was approaching her, since she was just staring outside the window, but she turned around with a large smile on her face as she heard her talk.

But then, the still unknown girl stopped. And then she screamed. And then she tripped and fell on the floor.

"Are you alright?" Nora asked cautiously, offering a hand to help the girl get up, while she was holding Elijah in her other hand as if he was her most precious treasure. Well, he really was. "What's... wrong?" As in, why did you scream like that all of a sudden?

Daphne sat up, feeling a little weird. Suddenly, someone offered a hand to help her up and sjhe noticed that it was the girl, the lizard girl. "I'm fine.." She shook her head sharply. What was wrong with her? Seriously, she was behaving like a five year old.

Daphne took the girls hand and got up, carefully watching the lizard that the girl was holding in her other hand. What's wrong? You have a lizard, that's what is wrong! The sixteen year old took a deep breath and calmed herself down..somewhat. "It's just that..you're lizard..scared me a little." A little? Daphne was still freaking out!

Daphne bent down and straightened her luggage. Gosh, what a mess!

There was definitely something awkward going on... awkward, just the way this girl was looking at Nora. Were her robes not looking good enough? Maybe there was a baby acromantula in her hair? No, no. She had to stop thinking about that, or else she might scream as well, only at the thought of having the tiniest bug on her.

But once the girl got up, it all became clear to Nora. "Wha -" What could possibly be so terrifying about a tiny and adorable and harmless creature like the one she was holding? "Elijah?"

She couldn't help but giggle. "He's not going to do anything to you. I promise." Well, she wasn't even going to let him crawl around at his own will. What if he runs away, and the whole train starts screaming just like this girl did? That wouldn't end well.

Daphne stood near the compartment, thinking how stupid she really was to get creeped out by a lizard. Jeez. She couldn't help but look at it again..hoping it didn't jump on her or something. Ew. She would probably just scream more..and end up being more embarrassed.

Elijah? Daphne felt like laughing. Was that the name of the tiny animal? That's...weird.

Daphne looked suspiciously at the girl and then at her pet. Yeah, obviously..it did look a bit harmless but she was still a little scared. Lizards as pets!? Woah. Anyway.. "So, yeah. I was wondering if I could occupy a seat in your comapartment?" Although, she felt a bit doubtful..now that she would have to share it with a lizard and all.

Her compartment?

She giggled some more. "Feel free," she said, waving a hand in the air, towards the compartment. "It's not like it's my property," she went on, grinning. But still, it was very nice of her to ask. However, Nora had this feeling that the girl will join her only if she can't find another empty seat, since she didn't look like she'll ever be Elijah's friend.

"I'm Nora, by the way," the girl smiled, holding her free hand again, to shake hers. "And this is Elijah." And the introductions were done, even though she might have already figured out who Elijah was, and she probably wasn't going to shake his... hand either.

Daphne smiled and said, "Yeah, that's true." She proceeded to walk into the compartment. She placed her trunk on the top bunk before she walked out into the corridor. She folded her arms and stood leaning against the window. She couldn't help but look at the animal again. Stop freaking out, Daph!

"Nice to meet you, Nora. I'm Daphne. Daphne Green." Daphne said, shaking her hand. Right. She looked at the lizard and grinned. "I'm not sure it's nice to meet you, though.." The sixteen year old joked..although, she might have been just a little serious when she said that. Lizards.

Nora had a feeling that Daphne really didn't like her tiny companion. Let's just hope that the screaming part was over. "Do you want me to... put him in a pocket? Or away from your sight?" She only hoped that she wasn't rude by asking that, but the poor girl looked terrified. And besides, Elijah loved to curl around her pockets.

"It's nice to meet you too," she said, but giggled at her next statement. "I'm sure it's a pleasure for him. You're the first" human "one he'd met." Except maybe Nikolas, when Nora was smart enough to step on his feet some time ago. But the lizard was hiding somewhere in her bag back then, so it doesn't really count.

Daphne looked relieved when Nora offered to put him away. "You know, that would be great..I hope you don't mind." Daphne realized that she was being a little mean..after all, the lizard was Nora's pet. "Um sorry.." She gave a nervous smile.

"Oh, really?" Daphne asked surprised when Nora said that she was the first person the lizard had met. "Well, I'm honoured.." Not really but she didn't want to be rude. Nora seemed like a nice person and she didn't want to make fun of her pet anymore.

Nora knew that she was probably acting like the silly girl she was, but she couldn't stop giggling. She smiled for a moment at Elijah, and then carefully placed him in the empty pocket of her robes. It was large enough, so he won't mind. "There. You can pretend he's gone." She only hoped that he won't start crawling up and out of that pocket. That would seriously freak Daphne out.

Buuut she decided to let this go, since lizards were definitely not Daphne's favourite animals. "In what year are you going to be?" She asked curiously. She was also thinking about those four houses, and wondering in which one she will be sorted. Yes, by the time the train arrived, she had plenty of time to do a lot of research about Hogwarts' details, since she didn't want to be the new and completely clueless student.

"Thank you." Daphne smiled when the girl placed the lizard in her pocket. She was glad that she didn't have to see that lizard anymore. Phew! She just hoped that it wouldn't jump out or something. Gosh, wouldn't that be scary!

"Well, I'm going to be in sixth year." Daphne nodded seriously. "How about you?" Although, she guessed that Nora didn't look older than a first or a second year. She looked out the window, feeling quite excited. Hogwarts, here I come!

Ryden was NOT happy.

Getting here had been annoying. Aunt Lea had INSISTED on dropping her off at King's Cross which meant that Ryden had decided to arrive absurdly late, making it just in time to hop on board as the train began to leave the station. After having stowed her luggage in it's respective compartment, Ryden began walking down the train corridor, looking for only one face.

And now, after three trips up and down, she digressed that he was either not here, hiding from her or walking behind her all the time. All three options angered her, and the now fifth year did not need any more reasons to be angry as it is.

Her hand went up to the blonde, short cut her hair was in now - blame BRIDGET - she patted it down and leaned against a wall, not in the mood to go look for an empty compartment. She'd do that later. Folding her arms, the fifteen year old made a face and eyed anyone who walked by her, sneering at the shorter ones and glaring at the taller.

She glared a lot more than she sneered, unfortunately.

once all of alarissa belongs had been loaded on to the train, she had become more nervous than ever. It would be the first time she would be away from her family, yet the excitement of making new friends and learning magic was overwhelming.
