So Jonathan is finally at Hogwarts. Standing right now in this very hall just made him realize that he's back already. Not long ago he was complaining about how he wishes summer would come by quickly so that he could go back to Hogwarts and now that he is here, he kinda wishes that it shouldn't have been that fast at all.

He still wanted to enjoy the carnival, shopping with Ayumi, not having his parents there for the meantime , studying and cooking with Ryu. Cooking. Jonathan smiled at that thought. He could never believe that this summer was the most productive summer he had in years. He manage to learn Herbology little by little and got to cook or do chores. Which he normally doesn't do because Nobi was always around. But no matter how much he cooked, he still couldn't do it like Ryu does. Jonathan spills a lot of things.

Pfffttt...
Oh well, practice does make perfect.

Jonathan never got to stay longer in this part of the castle, so why not just stay here for awhile.

The weather had been absolutely amazing, but after hearing all this about Hufflepuff being minus thirty points below nothingness he'd decided to find out whether if it was true or not and...he was thinking of Simon.

But Treyen was trusting that his friend hadn't been the one to blame for that. Not now, at least. Or so he hoped, because the Prefect didn't want to have another talk with him or anything of the sorts.

It was enough to have ONE of those talks. No need for a second one.

The boy walked rather slowly through the oak doors as he checked for his wand...because...wasn't it in his pocket?

Most people would think that Hogwarts' grounds would get boring after spending so much time there. Dallin thought otherwise. He couldn't get enough of it. He probably knew it like the back of his hands.

Of course that was where he was headed. Classes were over for the day and he was fleeing to the outside world. Fresh air and open space. So Dallin walked through the entrance hall alone, a smile on his face. He hardly even noticed the Ravenclaw hourglass. He knew they were negative points though. Sigh.

Marie stood up quietly and took Matty's hand following him out into the entrance hall. She didn't like this awkward silence they had going on here. It was like her fears were coming true... Matty was pulling away from her, probably because of some stupid thing she did. She seemed to have a way of screwing up the good things in her life. Or maybe it really was because of her father and he just didn't want to tell her that.

Once they reached the steps Marie stopped. She wasn't ready to go down them just yet. It meant they were getting closer to her common room once they started that descent.

Sitting on the top step she pulled him down with her. She had to do something to break this silence that was going on with them. She knew he wanted to know what was bothering her she just didn't know how to tell him. "You know what this weekend is?" Okay, so that wasn't her telling him what was bothering her but if he knew what was coming up then that could lead into her telling him what's wrong.

Oh, no, look! His wand was right there, in his pocket. His mind, however, seemed to be in...whatever planet Professor Antares was now.

Which was far away from Hogwarts, really.

As he looked up, just to make sure he wouldn't tackle any first year that got on his way, he smiled at the sight of one person he'd been wanting to talk to since...well, many months ago.

"Dallin!" he called, as he kept on walking towards the Ravenclaw boy, "Hey, how are you?" yeah, if he was going to ask for a favor then he'd better start by asking the boy how he was, right? It was only polite.

Hearing his name Dallin stopped in his tracks. He looked over both shoulders, he eyes finally landed on who had called to him. Nodding to the prefect, he took a half a step toward the Hufflepuff before stopping again. "Um, I'm alright." Nod. Not particularly bad or great. So alright.

He put his hands in the front pockets of his pants, thinking that this was probably going to distract him from going outside if the conversation lasted long. And it probably would be a while, unless Treyen was just being friendly and saying hey. "How're you?" It was polite to ask.

*Starting to feel even more worried Matty sat down next to her. Putting a arm around he smiled a little as he looked over at her.*
"Yes... I was hoping to surprise you with what I had planned... I can tell you if that's what's bothering you..."

Good. Treyen nodded as Dallin replied and smiled once more. The days of Treyen being jealous of Dallin were over, right? Because Ellie had said that he didn't need to worry about that, and...didn't Dallin had that other Ellie for himself? Rumors. He wasn't certain. Nor did he truly care, but maybe that other Ellie will mention it if they got to dancing again, which he secretly hoped wouldn't happen.

"Great, I'm great," he said, nodding twice as he replied to his question, "Actually, Dallin, I've kind of been looking for you," well, not 'looking' in the actual sense of the word, more like, if he saw Dallin he'd talk to him. "You see, I know that you were able to produce a patronus this past school year...and...I...I don't know how...," he could ask Hadley, right? Or Mr. Stryker, but for some reason he was asking Dallin, "...I wanted to ask you if you could teach me, because the theory hasn't been enough," seriously, it hasn't.

Destiny thought otherwise. Apparently Carter was not worthy of the badge if he couldn't figure out that waving the clipboard high above his head would allow everyone to see it. But she wasn't even going to mention that. Nope, she'd save her awesome ideas for the Slytherin Captain. Considering she had signed up for the team.

She was out of breath already.

Reaching the Entrance Hall, actually surprised that she had reached it without Carter catching up to her, she really did hate to run and he probably had to finish eating that bowl of potatoes, Destiny glanced around.. and spotting a pillar over by the steps, she moved closer to it.. and hid right behind it..

Yeah, she might have told Carter to catch her, but she had left out the part about finding her first on purpose.

Aww, he had a surprise for her? That meant he did remember.

"No, you don't have to tell me what you have planned. I don't want to ruin your surprise for me." Snuggling close to him she rested her head on his shoulder. "I just hope I don't end up doing something stupid to make you not want to go through with that surprise." Really, she didn't have the best track record when it came to relationships and the beginning of the term.

Eyes widening a bit, Dallin nodded with a question in his eyes. Treyen had been looking for him? He was going to ask why, but Treyen explained himself so there was no need.

How did he know he had produced a patronus? First of all, he'd only done it twice in his life and he didn't exactly parade around that fact. Because he wasn't good at it, and it was mostly luck and a whole lot of searching for a happy enough memory that had allowed him to do it. But the question, really, was who in the world had told Treyen that he could do it? The only person who knew was Louisa... so she must've done it.

With a mental sigh, Dallin nodded resignedly. "Sure," he said with a shrug. "I'm not good at it - I've only done it twice. But I could try to teach you." He didn't know what he could say beside what textbooks and stuff would say... but maybe he could help Treyen somehow. Louisa had almost gotten an actual patronus with Dal's help so... yeah. He could try.

Carter followed Destiny out to the Entrance Hall. Had the snake managed to slip away already...? No. He couldn't have. Otherwise he'd still be hearing her footsteps going up the stairs. He glanced at the front door. It closed. So she didn't go outside.

Which meant... she had to be hiding!

This was why they should have established rules first...

Now... if he were Destiny, where would he hide...?

He shuddered at the thought. It was bad enough being Mia for an hour.

He looked around and spotted some pillars. That seemed like a Destiny hiding spot. He carefully pretended he was checking behind a statue while actually looking out of the corner of his eye toward the pillars.

That was definitely a set of black robes. Which, he guessed belonged to Destiny. (Who else would be hiding behind a pillar?)

He headed over toward her. He smirked. "Boo."

Did he win?

Destiny didn't know why, but as soon as she hid behind the pillars, she was having a very hard time keeping her giggles at bay. This was not supposed to be a fun game of cat and mouse! She was supposed to be serious! She could not, and would not, let Carter have his badge back. It was too soon.

Parting is such sweet sorrow.

And she was sorry he had caught her in the Great Hall. What happened to being able to hide well? She was supposed to be a sneaky-spy-person! She could kick herself. Still, even with those thoughts, it was hard to stop the giggles. Maybe because she thought she had found a great hiding spot and she thought Carter would never find her. Why would he look behind a pillar anyway? Does he do that often?

She didn't have time to think of anymore questions, though, as she heard footsteps. It wasn't hard to figure out whose they were either. Pressing up against the pillar even more, she managed to stop the giggles completely, and she even held her breath. That was until the Gryffindor's face was suddenly in front of hers.. and if it was anyone but Carter, she probably really would have been scared.

Making a face, as if he was the scariest thing in the world, Destiny gave him a little shove, and squeezing out from behind the pillar, she began running up the stairs towards the first floor. "You may have found me once, but won't find me twice!"

Carter blinked a few times at Destiny's reaction. What was that about? She knew perfectly well that he was chasing her. In fact, she'd insisted on it.

"Wait, what? You mean I have to find you again?" he asked. Yet again, this was why rules were important. He regained his balance after the little shove Destiny delivered and then followed her up to the first floor.

He'd play along just a little bit longer.

...Mostly because he was curious as to what kind of hiding spots the snake would be able to find... it would be useful in case he ever wanted to play Hogwarts hide-and-seek.

And yes, the thought had crossed his mind.

*That's it. She was scared that she might push him away or something. Wrapping both arms around her Matty pulled her close.*
"Marie I wont leave you unless you send me away... I love you, never forget that."
*Giving her a soft kiss for a moment he smiled and rested his forehead on hers.*

The eye-widening went unnoticed by the Hufflepuff Prefect, and he didn't know just how long Dallin had to think this over, actually, it was more of a 'Yes' or 'No' question and the Ravenclaw was taking forever to answer, well, not forever but a few seconds had passed.

Treyen smiled, a small smile but it was a smile nonetheless, when Dallin finally agreed. There was no mentioning of who was the one that told Treyen about this, but there was reason enough to believe that it didn't matter if he'd done so or not, because very few had known about what that Ravenclaw girl had told him.

"Thanks." That'd be much appreciated, really. "I...know the theory, kind of...just never executed it with satisfactory results," and he was pretty much dying to know which form his patronus will take. He was fully aware that a silver mist was all he was going to get if he started to practice it this year, but he was cool with that, "So, whenever you have some spare time...just let me know," he'll fit Dallin in his agenda, it wasn't so hard to do that since Quidditch was no longer in there.

Looking up when Matty put his arms around her, Marie smiled a little. "I'm not sending you away. I love you too much to ever do something like that." Kissing him back she started to feel a little better. She did know that he loved her yet she also knew that she wasn't always the easiest person to get along with.

Looking into his eyes as he rested his forehead on hers she put her arms around his neck. "How'd I ever get lucky enough to have you fall in love with me? Sometimes I really don't know how you put up with me." she was just glad that he did put up with her and her attitude she sometimes had.

"Well you punched some sense into me..." *Matty said as he lightly kissed her nose.*
"I don't put up with you Marie, I love you remember that... I don't see why you would want to be with a Hufflepuff geek..."

"So you're saying good things happen when I punch people?" Or maybe it was just when she punched him. Nah. Great things happened then. He ended up falling in love with her.

It made her feel really good hearing him say he wasn't putting up with her, that he loved her. Even though she knew he did put up with a lot from her. "You are NOT a geek. I wouldn't be in love with you if you were." There was no way Marie Jade Salazar would ever be caught dating a geek, much less falling in love with one. "I'm in love with you Matthias Gardner because you treat me better than anyone has ever treated me. You don't judge me for who I am, you love me no matter what I do. You're always there for me when I need you and you're not ashamed or afraid of letting others know how you feel about me... Do I need to go on cuz I will if I have to." She could go on all night about why she was in love with him.

"You don't have to but I kind of enjoy this Matty is awesome talk." *Matty told her with a smirk. He loved spending every minute with her. How was that putting up with her? A lot of people judged Marie and it upset Matty. Once they got to know Marie then they would see how amazing she is. Mia, and there others friends knew that.*
"And I'm in love with you too... always and forever."

Dallin nodded to Treyen's thanks. He didn't really know how thankful the boy would be when Dallin actually tried to teach him, but it was nice for right now. He hoped, for some reason, that he would really be able to teach him. Probably because it'd be really embarrassing if all he could say was 'uh... think of a happy memory and say the incantation.' Very embarrassing.

He looked at the ground, thinking about his spare time for a second before looking back at the prefect. "Whenever there's no classes," He said with a shrug. He really wasn't all that busy. Except - "I'm hoping to try out for Quidditch this year, though, so... whenever that's not going, too." Whenever that would be. Very vague, Dallin.

"Just, um, tell me when you want to try it." That would be easiest, probably, to just let Treyen decide.

"I think I'll save some of the Matty is awesome talk for a later time." She said giving him a little wink.

"Always and Forever." That's how long she would be in love with him.

Standing up she grabbed his hand to pull him up with her. "It's getting late, we really should get to our common rooms." She didn't want to feel the wrath of Lafay if she was caught out of the common room after hours.

"Your right... You have a strict Head of House. Mine could care less if I was out after hours." *That wasn't fully true. She would be mad if he got caught. Standing up with her Matty put his arms around her and gave her a soft kiss.*
"I'll walk you to your dorm."
*Taking her hand he started walking.*

Anna climbed the stairs. She was in no mood because of the events in her family, so it was a very distant view. She was carrying a pile of books in their hands, but apparently thought and stumbled... Textbooks fell out of her hand and fell down the stairs.

"Oh... And it still..." She said with annoyance and began raiseing books.
