Sky walked over to the tables, plate and drink in hand. She chose a table with polka dot pattern and sat down. Right when she was about to bite into a piece of BBQ, she noticed the centerpiece. A mini replica of the Statue of Liberty! And she had bowed to Sky when she sat down! "Hello, Lady Liberty," Sky said to the statue, then took a bite of her BBQ.

Finally after a couple of times of roaming around and debating what to eat on the buffet table, Jonathan manage to pick his favorite food and drink. Now to finally eat it all and maybe eat seconds today.

He sat down on one table, thankfully he was in a hanbok, something very comfortable to be in. The material is mostly silk, so it feels very comfortable. Plus there's a lot of room in the stomach area, so more fun in eating.

He then took a bite from the Aussie pizza he took. It is made of Shrimp, Pineapple, Barbecue Sauce, and Cheese. AND IT IS DELICIOUS. No. Delicious is not even a word to describe it. It was more delicious than the word delicious. WOW. Okay, he's getting a second slice of this later. Aussie Pizza. Sooooo yummy.

It's like every bite is heaven.

Trying to balance a tray of food, a drink, AND walking in a kimono was certainly a challenge. Her legs did not have too much movement and it was harder walking in the shoes than she remembered it being. Granted, the last time she had been dressed up like this was when she was seven for her final shichi go san, so the amount of fabric and everything was very different.

As she looked for a place to sit, she spotted Jonathan looking as though he had just died and gone to heaven with a piece of pizza in his hands. She slowly made her way over to him, hoping not to spill anything in the process. When she finally reached his table, she knew that she must be blushing already because her cheeks felt like they were on fire and she saw that her hair was streaking pink a bit.

"H-H-Hey," she smiled, bowing to him for the first time in a LONG time. Stupid! "You look...very handsome." He really did. The blue fabric of his clothing complimented his features very much.

Jonathan is enjoying this. Aussie pizza made his tongue craving for more. Munch. Munch. Munch. Munch. It was a very full-filling slice. Now, he just wishes this even won't stop till the end of the term because Jonathan could get used to this. Getting out of the campus just so he could eat delicious meal. Heck, even if it was late in the evening, he'd still go out for a bite.

After finishing the first slice of pizza, he took his second. Brazillian pizza is it? It is made of Chicken, Hearts of Palm, Corn, Green Peas, and Catupiry. What is Ca--Catui--Catupiry? What's that? Jonathan thought it must be a herb or something. Yeaaah, he doesn't know. Just when he was about to take a bite. A girl in a Kimono joined him.

Of course, he'd be stupid enough not to know who she is..."Kurumi" he saw her bow. Oh, so they were really acting their culture today? Marilyn did acted like a French royal today. So Jonathan stood up as well and gave a 90-degrees bow, just like what the Koreans do. Oh, this is fun. Should they also speak in the native language? Now, that'd be just weird.

Jonathan sat down after that and when she complimented him, he smiled and looked at her "You look like an empress" instead of using princess. Pink Kimono. Really cute.

OH! Speaking of which, he's been meaning to give Kurumi something which apparently his father owled him the other day. He took out his bag and shuffled through it. Nice and easy. Don't want to break anything in it before she could open it.

*blink blink*

Kurumi hadn't expected him to bow back, but it put her a little at ease and made her feel less awkward about her slight mix up in bowing at him. Carefully placing her food and drink down on the table, she turned her attention towards him again and blushed a bit more as he sat down. Her hair was still slightly streaked with pink, and she tried to cover up some of it with her hands.

"I-I-I'm too plain to be an empress," she stammered, pursing her lips just a bit and turning her gaze down to the ground. Really, empress was just another word for princess, wasn't it? She would let that one slide for now. Now that her hands were free, she placed one on his cheek, getting some of the silk from her kimono involved in the gesture as well. "But...um...thank you..." She really needed to stop denying his compliments. In a weird way, wasn't it insulting him?

She leaned down for a moment as if she were going to kiss him, but then stopped as her conversation with Selina and Salander suddenly popped into mind. Kurumi was really inexperienced with this stuff, and while they had kissed several times now, she still felt that she was...too naive? Inadequate? He hadn't complained or anything, but he was very patient and might just be too polite to say something.

So...instead she kind of was just hovering there, leaning on the table slightly.

To plain to be an empress? Jonathan was more teasing him about the Princess thing but oh well. Kurumi always hesitated when people compliments her. Jonathan smiled as she sat down with food and drink. Jonathan although did felt the silk material when she touched his cheek. Soft just like his hanbok. But from the looks of it, Kurumi is quite having a hard time walking in a kimono.

Jonathan finally took out what was needed to be given to Kurumi. A present that apparently his father has owled that really made him nervous. "This is not from me though" he said as he presented her the gift box. "To tell you the truth I'm quite shocked myself about it" Jonathan was really shocked. He didn't even have the time to reply to them yet. He doesn't know whether his parents know or not.

If she could remember the other day why Jonathan was staring at her feet at the gardens, then she could already guess what is inside. But probably Kurumi has forgotten it already. Oh and one more thing. Jonathan took out a piece of paper in his bag. "My father wrote this as well"

That's just about it. He didn't send Jonathan an owl, he send Kurumi one. So does that means he doesn't know since he gave it to him first for him to give it to her? or was he just playing because he already knows who?

Kurumi continued to hover there awkwardly pressing her lips together every few moments while Jonathan rummaged through his bag for something. Oh Merlin, what if when he came back up he smacked right into her? Forehead on forehead collision. Now that would certainly ruin the mood and make things...awkward.

When he did come back up, Kurumi immediately straightened her position and began idly playing with her hair as if nothing had happened. Yep. Cool as a cucumber.

Her eyes widened when he presented her with a box. "If it's not from you...then who is it from?" she asked nervously. Or was this some way for him to tease her? He would be the sort to pretend that it was from someone else, give this invisible person a nickname and then give her a gift. That was soon answered for her when she saw a note from...

"Y-Y-Yo-Your father sent me something?" Okay, now her mouth was hanging open as her small hands slowly touched the wrapping on the box. Well, at least she knew that she was welcome to visit? But it was something that she had to wear? Merlin she hoped that it wasn't anything embarrassing. Something small like a bracelet or a headband perhaps. She removed the lid and her fish out of water gasping for air look appeared on her face.

Jonathan decided to finish his delicious Brazillian pizza. He didn't took a bit moments ago since Kurumi showed up and he bowed. Yeah., that. So now, he took a bite from the pizza while Kurumi opens the gift and reads the letter. YUMMY! This is the next best pizza ever, although he does prefer the Aussie one. But this pizza is still one of the best pizza he has ever tasted. Okay, so he'll get seconds for the Aussie and now for the Brazillian.

Jonathan decided to finish the whole slice and drank the apple cider. Yup, that was yummy. He could really taste the exotic flavors. It's delicious.

Jonathan nodded when Kurumi asked a question. "yup. Father sent it. Who else was I suppose to give it too" even though there were no names written Alexander knew he would give it to Kurumi. Just like his hunch. Jonathan doesn't really know if his father has an idea it's her but still, it would be nice that he already knew so that he wouldn't break the ice for him.

He was about to take a bite from the French pizza when he suddenly saw Kurumi face somehow shocked? Was it the word that best describes it? Jonathan poked her in the shoulders "What's wrong?" he poked her again "What's with the face?" he smiled. Is it the gift?

Um...well, it was normal for parents to send their own children gifts, wasn't it? Or was her father just one of THOSE people. She swore that she was getting care packages at what seemed like a weekly to daily rate? "He could have sent something to you?" she asked slowly, peeking back down into the box again.

Heels. His father clearly had no idea who Kurumi was. She was probably one of the last people on earth to send heels to the other one being Selina and had only ever worn them once that that had not turned out well. Wait, twice. Once her first year when she had gone to the Costume Ball in them and then another time of the summer when her mother had attempted to teach her how to walk like a lady. She needed to sit down for this.

Was it getting...warm? Kurumi began to anxiously scratch at her arms as a similar nervous sensation that she usually only felt before Flying and Quidditch games took over.

She then realized that Jonathan was...staring at her...and that her mouth was still hanging wide open. How was she supposed to respond? "I-I-It's not that I'm not grateful..." she said faintly, hunching her shoulders a bit. "It's just...I...I...Ican'treallywalkinheels." There, she had said it.

MEEP! Was this some sort of test from his family? If she couldn't walk in heels then she wasn't worthy of dating their son? KYA!

Jonathan shook his head "Apparently nothing but that this month" his father usually gave him something once a month, so since he already gave it then does that mean he'll no longer send Jonathan more package? Who knows? His father might be busy a lot since he has work and his mother can't give him more sweets now can she? The owl will just literally eat it when it gets tired of going back and fort.

Jonathan took a bite from the pizza while waiting for Kurumi to response. French pizza, something he had always eat especially when his uncles comes to visit. But this one taste different compare to how his uncles make it. Still, it's yummy. Okay, so right now the buffet table doesn't want him to stop eating. it's just his third slice but his list of foods to eat gets longer and longer.

Then when she answered that she can't walk in high heels Jonathan laughed. He can't stop laughing about it. Okay, he's not laughing at Kurumi, the fact that she can't wear heels. Not all girls can wear them so it's pretty much normal. Although, he's laughing because Kurumi will simply be having a very awkward time when she meets his mother. "Oh you'll get used to it" he patted her head.

Oh, good. It wasn't just her family that was the ones who were sending things all the time. That made her feel a little better about everything to be sure. Kurumi wasn't able to respond to him though, for her attention was entirely on the shoes still in the box on the table. Even the little replica of The Little Mermaid on their table was curious about the shoes and had leaned over to peer into it. Her face was RED now and her hair, gone of its slightly pink glow, was quickly taking on a soft orange tint. Heels. Seriously? Couldn't he have sent her some sparkly sneakers or something? Her eyes glanced at the mermaid statue that had now taken to running its fingers through its hair.

"I'll trade you..." she whispered to it. The mermaid DID want to have human legs as the story went. Kurumi would give her the shoes for a day if it meant she could avoid them.

Now he was laughing at her. Fantastic. Could she please just blend into her chair? She attempted to hide her face in the sleeves of her kimono, peeking out from it to speak to him. "I-It's not funny..." she mumbled, hiding her face again for the time being.

Oh Merlin...heels...

Jonathan laughed for quite awhile. He seemed to get rid of the fact that Kurumi might even feel more awkward when his mother might ask her to go shopping. Victoria will throw anything on her. "Okay.. I'll stop" he said as he tried coughing it out.

Okay, no more laughs. He looked at her. "nahh, it's not that hard once you start using it." Jonathan comforted her. Well, actually he doesn't know how girls can manage to walk in high heels. His mother had a collection of those and it confuses him how she can shop and walk around all day without a single sweat found.

Kurumi kept her eyes on the mermaid figurine on the desk and frowned. Jonathan was laughing now, but really hadn't seen her try to walk around in heels. She was a stumbling mess. She remembered when Josh had come into a Defense Against the Dark Arts class. He had pulled the shoes off better than she could. Maybe she should ask him for advice on how to walk in them? Merlin was the wizarding world a backwards place to live in. Asking Josh of all people how to walk in heels....

She finally peeks up when Jonathan began coughing. "So....YOU know how to walk in heels?" He did say that it became easier once you got used to them. Kurumi's face was still kind of hiding behind the sleeves of her kimono, but at least the top part of her face down to her nose was sticking out.

Jonathan stopped laughing finally. It's not nice to laugh when your girlfriend is having troubles. She seemed really worried about it too. It quite nice that Kurumi likes comfortable shoes instead of high heels. Jonathan still doesn't get it. Walking in a high heels should be a skill.

Jonathan then eyed the other half of the French pizza. Still unfinished, so he decided to just eat it all. Yummy French pizza. Now he wants more of it. He just can't stop eating the pizzas right now. it was too delicious.

As Kurumi raised the question, Jonathan looked at her. Does she think he has walked in high heels? "Sadly no" he smiled at her and reached for her hands. No need to cover that pretty face. "Don't be too upset about it." he told her as he touched her cheeks, resisting to pinch it. "Just eat." he said pointing to her food. It's Jonathan's third pizza and he remembers that Kurumi hasn't touch her plate since she sat down.

"Then how do you kn----" But she was silenced by Jonathan's hands on her own, pulling them down with one while the other rested on her cheek. Her voice was caught in her throat again and her heart was beating about a billion times a minute. His face was....RIGHT there and she felt her lips quiver ever so slightly.

Don't be upset about it? Kurumi felt that she really ought to be considering that the gift his family was now expecting her to wear when she met them - which would be....when exactly? - that she would be stumbling around like a baboon. Jonathan had even mentioned that his father was strict...Merlin help her.

She finally took her eyes off Jonathan's lips face and looked at her food. Right, she should eat some of that... She reached over for a slice of the Japanese pizza she had specially requested.

She scared of wearing heels, so what? Jonathan can just cover for her, right? Although that would make Victoria a bit sad. Jonathan knows how she is with gifts. Scary mom is not a very good mom. But still, she can't force anyone into wearing heels, right? Right? Oh well~~

When Kurumi started to eat, he smiled. Finally she is eating. "You get too worried too much. Just enjoy. It's still a long time until you get to wear those anyway." he smiled as he took another slice of pizza. Russian pizza is it? The one with all the fishes in one pizza? Jonathan is not big fan of fish although, he'd still eat it.

Saved by the...pizza? Jonathan had been suffering since food in the Great Hall hadn't been what it usually was. Which would explain why he was currently making up for all the meals he had somewhat skipped over this term right now. Smiling faintly, Kurumi returned to eating her pizza, finishing it in a few bits, and then set her plate back on the table. The mermaid statue was still poking the shoes and looking back and forth between Kurumi and Jonathan.

Get? At least he was still positive about the whole thing. "So...this means that I am invited to your house then?" Had he asked about coming to visit her? He had been a bit concerned about all that. Her cheeks flushed a bit more as she picked up a strawberry.

The Russian pizza was also a delight and now, Jonathan had finished his plate. Yup, seems like his first ever decent meal since the term had started. So thank you prefects for this event even though it took him awhile to go out and look at the place.

Jonathan took a sip from the apple cider that he took. It was actually a nice beverage. Jonathan is a big fan of pumpkin juice but after tasting this apple cider, there's room for one more favorite.

Blink. Blink.

Wasn't it obvious enough for her? The shoes didn't just meant a gift, it means 'it's a present that we expect her to wear when she comes home'. The letter sounded exactly how it is. He looked at Kurumi yup.." he replied.

Finishing her strawberry and several other pieces of fruit on her plate, Kurumi slowly pushed it to the side and leaned her elbows on the table when Jonathan confirmed what the gift and letter had been spelling out for her in bright neon letters. Stupid question...she knew...but she was kind of in disbelief.

Slowly, she reached down for her kimono shoes and slipped one of them off before coming back up to grab one of the shoes from the box and scooted her chair out just a bit. Maybe...they wouldn't fit and then she would have nothing to worry about? Maybe? Veeeeeery slowly she lowered her foot into the heel and...MELRIN!

"T-They fit perfectly," she whispered glancing back up at him with a small but nervous smile on her face.

Jonathan went to get seconds. He took about 3 Aussie pizzas now and 2 Brazillian pizzas. Yup he is so hungry right now. Oh, and another glass of the apple cider. It has an addicting taste, really. And it goes really well with his now two favorite pizzas. AWESOME!

When Jonathan came back with his plate of pizzas he saw Kurumi fitting the shoes. THEY FIT PERFECTLY?!?!?!?! Okay so maybe they know it's Kurumi already but what gave them the idea? Not every girl has the same feet length and Jonathan is pretty sure he acted like the usual when he came home this winter. Hmmm... Those ex-Slytherins are good. Too good.

Jonathan looked at her feet with the shoe. "Yeah, it's nice." it does. Now that it fits perfectly "Then you have no reason not to wear it." he teased. Well, there must be a reason why it fits perfectly right?

Kurumi hadn't even noticed that Jonathan had left to get more food, probably because her eyes had been so focused on the shoes in front of her, but she did notice when he returned with a plate piled high with pizza. "Well...at least you can tell your mother that you are eating a lot of food and not just sweets," she laughed, doing whatever it took to take the attention off of her feet.

But that didn't last too long as Jonathan practically beamed when he saw that the shoe fit. Still, Kurumi had to admit that they did look nice even if her feet were so small and simple. "Almost like a new version of Cinderella," she laughed before covering her mouth with the sleeves of her kimono again. Ug, could she stop saying such embarrassing things. Jonathan would probably at least laugh at it though. She slipped the shoe back into the box and put her kimono shoe back on.

She looked back at Jonathan now and put one of her small hands on his as it rested on the table and smiled at him.

"I'll...practice walking in them, promise." If he could put aside his dislike for studying to do so for her, then she could at least do this for him. Heels...meep...

Jonathan laughed as she saw him bringing a pile of pizza. It's a lot when he's nearly full and Jonathan doesn't eat too much even for a growing boy. Now why is that? The pizza definitely brought back the flavor in his taste buds. He was so much satisfied by that. "yeah. She'd be smiling i she saw me getting seconds" unlike when he came home last summer and all she did was give him an hour lecture just because he grew thin. Yeah, nice to meet you too. Jonathan always denied that he grew thin. He would always say that he just didn't gain much.

well, which is sort of the same thing.

Cinderella? Who was she again? OH!!! "The house elf lady" the one that cleans everything in the house. It's still weird why she cleans the whole house because her step mother is evil or something. She could at least afford a house elf.

Jonathan held her hand and smile. "Practice makes perfect" he chuckled at that. Well, let's just hope she doesn't break a few bones along the way. Then he looked at her plate. Was she seriously done? Not on his watch.

Jonathan picked one of the aussie pizza and put it in her plate. There. "You should eat more" he smiled.

"It's a good thing we planned for a lot of food," she blushed, nodding in the direction of his plate. "I think you will single handedly eat all the pizza." A small smile crept across her face. She had been in charge of the pizzas so it really meant a lot that that seemed to be what he was enjoying the best. Then again, who didn't like pizza? Well, besides one of her brothers. He hated Western food in general though. "I'm really glad you like the pizza. A LOT of research went into them."

"Erm...right...the House Elf Princess," Kurumi nodded. Hey, if that was how Jonathan could remember the story then so be it. Everyone needed a method about how to remember things. "The one who lost her shoe and the Prince found it and gave it back to her." Just in case he wasn't seeing the connection. She swayed a bit, and played with one of the curls hanging down beside her cheek. "I-I-I guess that makes you my Prince." Well, technically his father was, but that was too awkward. Jonathan had been the one to present her with shoes which made her free! so he got the title.

Her smiled widened a bit when he held her hand gently and then her eyes grew wide when he dropped another slice of pizza on her plate. Wait...seriously?! She didn't eat like him and the ties of her kimono were rather constricting. "Um...if you insist," she nodded, eating the slice he had offered her.

She glanced back at the shoes now, practice makes perfect... "Do you think...um...maybe I could get some of that practice in...now?" she squeaked, looking at their joined hands for a moment and then back at him. "That is...if you are done eating." She'd hate to deny him the joy of food.

Jonathan ate more of the pizza. Yes, it was the best idea of the year. Last term it was a lagoon and now an international buffet. YUP. See this is why Hogwarts is the best school, hands down. No one even needs to further discuss about its awesomeness. "Is that a bad thing?" Jonathan asked. Well, guess he just have to eat other than the pizza. He can't just stuff his face for more pizza. He would have to try other menus too... Maybe later when he finishes this one.

Research? "You guys researched about the pizza?" he asked. Well, probably the ingredients and whatnot. Jonathan is not much of a pizza maniac but he does eat a lot of it when it is presented on the table. Still, does that really make him a pizza fan?

Oh yeah, now he remembers. The house elf girl that lost a glass shoe and then her prince found it and then they got married. Weird story but still, if that's what the muggles say. Okay. "Yeah, you told me that story" it was at the gazebo right? When Kurumi was hopping around Hogwarts with only one shoe.

Prince? Hmm... because of the shoes? "I didn't buy it." he laughed, well it was mostly tease. But then again, his father bought it. Now that'd be hilarious. Of course, Jonathan knew what she meant.

Jonathan then ate another slice of pizza. Yup, he is getting full now. And he still 2 left. He doesn't want to stop. It's too good... too delicious... to everything!!!

Jonathan looked at Kurumi. She'll be practicing to walk in those heels and is asking him? "I can't walk in those" he smiled. Well, that was awkward. Jonathan doesn't even know how to stand up firmly in those things. How do they stand up, really?
