Charles was wandering down the second floor corridor, wondering if he should or shouldn't go to the Kitchens to nick some food. He was hungry, yet he could wait for dinner and eat with the rest of the school or he could just go to Cheryl and ask her if she had anything he could eat. These were hard options for Charles, except of course the second one which he disregarded immediately. He wasn't going to wait 'till dinner, he was hungry now for god's sake.

He supposed that he could try his luck with Cheryl and ask her for a box of chocolates or something. He wasn't sure that she'd let him have any though, he'd been kind of annoying the past few days. The problem with going to the Kitchens was that he wasn't very popular with the house-elves there, having been involved in a prank that involved clothes. :/ That was ages ago though, but he still wasn't sure about house-elves' memory spans. They might as well kick him out of the Kitchens for all he knew.

He stood there in the middle of the corridor deep in thought, trying to decide how to satisfy his growling stomach.

Nom.

That was the only words for the brownies in her hands. Well, the box of brownies in her hands, the house elves were getting better at wrapping stuff up evidently, because they had a nice bit of paper holding them together, it looked like something out of a bakery. And it tasted even better than a bakery's, and they were nice and warm. And then Sammy had seen her, and demanded brownies, and Amy didn't want to give them to her, they were Amy's "revision" snack, and so she'd ran around the school trying to shake off the taller blondo and, now she seemed to have lost her.

Thankfully.

And so now she was on the second floor, and after a quick "one-two" look she sat down and opened up the brownies, still slightly steaming. And being the absolute polite person she was, she stuffed a brownie in her gob. It was then, when she noticed someone standing near her. Oh. That was awkward....

Charles heard some one walking behind him and looked around to find a girl sitting cross-legged on the floor of the corridor with a box of brownies infront of her.

Now this is what he was looking for.

He approached the girl cautiously, because had he been sitting in a corridor with a box of delicious-looking brownies, he wouldn't want anyone butting in and sharing his deal of brownies. Nah-uh. But then the girl looked up and seemed to notice him, because she looked awkward. No this wasn't an awkward situation, he'd applaud a girl that had nerve like this, it's a million times better than the image of ordinary, sweet creatures that everyone seems to like. :/

"Hey," He said casually, leaning against the wall beside her and trying to turn his old charm back on. Maybe she'd be nice enough to ask him to join her.

Okay, so first Amy felt it was awkward. And then she saw him looking at her brownies. And then it twigged. She wasn't going to be able to eat all her brownies, someone would ask, and it seemed he would be one of them, and so her expression changed from"wow, this is awkward" to "so you want my brownies huh?"

Hey she said, smiling at him, hoping he's stop looking at them. Nope. She'd have to do this. She'd have to share her brownies. She quickly counted them in her head 6 brownies. Well, that was okay, three for him, three for her, besides,six would probably of made her sick and she'd of been off brownies for life. She looked back up at the boy and smiled at him, you can drop the charm offensive she grinned, seeing straight through his plan, do you want a brownie?

He saw her glance at him, then back at the brownies, and then back at him again. He knew she was doing the mental math, because that would be what made sense. See how many brownies she's got, and how many she's willing to share. And then she brok the question at him. He chuckled because no other girl had ever said that to him and he was glad that she wasn't acting all sweet, he just wanted food.

"That's, .. er, very generous of you," He grinned, propping himself next to her on the floor. He was about to extend his hand and take a brownie when he stopped himself, he should at least wait for her to give him one. She might not like him grabbing a brownie as soon as she'd asked him to join her.

"I'm really hungry, and I was just debating on a way to get food, " He told her, chuckling. He was going to resort to desperate measures to get food and he was lucky to have someone offering him brownie's without shouting at him. -coughCherrycough-

She cocked an eyebrow at him as he slid down next to her, oh yeah she'd go along with it, yup she would, because if he was like normal boy's, they got all upset and we're like "you totally didn't know what I was doing". Yup. And then they walked off and she had to appologise to them and it was all "I thought you were my friend, why did you embarass me" and it was why too much effort for her liking.

Sure she nodded, seriously, it's no problem Amy grinned, gesturing for him to take a brownie and taking one for herself and biting into the warm brownie, chocolate oozing slightly as she took a bite, they're good she nodded, mouth full. Yeah, not a great look Amy, she put her hand over her mouth and swallowed, they're really good, she grinned

They're not poisioned, don't worry

Charles grinned at her, she was actually saving his life as he couldn't have possibly waited for dinner for food. He chuckled when she said that it wasn't poisned, and extended his hand to get one for himself. He took a brownie from the box and it felt warm in his hand, taking a bit he looked at her and raised his thumb indicating that the brownies tasted good.

"Where'd you get them from?" He asked her, taking another bite from the brownie in his hand. He noticed that the girl didn't look perturbed that he, a good looking lion, had just joined her for a bite of cookies and that she was eating the cookies at ease, before covering her mouth that is.

Oh, he was grinning at her. She got it now. Mainly because all her friends had really strange, slight grimacey grins. His was normal, straight and a little bit cheeky and cocky, but maybe she was just reading into it too much, after all a smile was just that. A smile. And besides, he seemed to be very into the brownies. Slightly too much, but still...

She nodded at his thumb with a grin, breaking off another one. Hang on, where did she get them from? Where had he been for the past years...oh right. He was probably new, kitchens she said with a grin, every Puff knows where the food is, you just tickle the pear and the house elves give you anything she nodded. She LOVED the kitchens. She and Sammy spent most of the year there, and all of the elves were so cute and stuff. And good food. Yup. she popped half of the brownie and sat there chewing it

The kitchen. That place that used to be his sanctuary but now .. And then he noticed her look at him in that way that told him plainly that she thought he was new. Why did everyone think that? Did he look that lost here at Hogwarts? Oh whatever. "I used to be able to get access to the kitchens, " He told her sadly. "Until I offended them house-elves, " He grumbled. It was annoying that he couldn't get there now. Very annoying.

"I'm a Gryffindor," He told her, nodding. With a last bite, he finished his first brownie and extended her arm to get another one, glancing at her to see if she minded.

Ohhh, right Amy nodded, how did you offend them? Because, you know, it must of been bad they never get upset, frankly, Amy was rude to lots of people, but not the house elves, they were little stars, and they cooked litterally everything. Everything. Cuz, you know, I would of thought you'd of known...but chucked out and banned from a kitchen? It's kind of impossible. Well in Amy's mind at least.

Awwwh. A lion. That sucked. For once she'd found someone, apart from Sammy who had the same pigging eating habits as her. She passed him the box as she pulled apart another brownie, disecting it with her eyes. That sucks she shrugged, but I guess you suit the lions..

Charles chuckled as he remembered, it was funny enough then but he had been regretting it ever since. "Well, in third year, I thought it would be funny to see how the house-elves would react if I hung clothes all around the kitchen with "Free Elves" written on them, " He gabbled. "Me and Patrick did it, we sneaked there and when the house-elves found out they got mad, so we started laughing from our hiding place. Then the real problem happened, see, unintentionally, we had set a Wildfire Whiz-Bang ..." He hesitated then, wondering if she knew what that is. "Y'know, it's this speacial order fireworks," He explained then continued his story. "It was very chaotic, the house-elves squealed and tramped around and you could imagine what else happend." He nodded. Taking another brownie from the box she passed him.

He took a bite and swallowed it before continuing, "Ever since, we've been banned from the Kitchens but even when we try and sneak there, the house-elves are not so welcoming anymore." Which was regretful. Very.

Huh? What sucked? Charles started, looking at her in a bewildered and surprised way. "What do mean?" He asked quickly, his eyebrows narrowing.

Right....Amy said, cocking an eyebrow, though to be fair, she couldn't really argue, her and Sammy were just odd, and they had done stuff like that since their arrival, although they never got caught for it. Asides from that one time when her and Liam had got caught with stink bombs. That had been...odd. It wasn't entertaining, but at the same time, arguing your way out of a detention. That was good fun.

Oh, Amy sighed, well they wont be now she nodded sadly, she'd had to beg and plead to get into the kitchens, but now they had brandished a sign on the pear, which screamed at them to go away. *Pout* The kitchens have closed up

I mean you'd be a good Puff, you have a good habit of eating a lot, and are funny. Besides, I'm a Puff, thus the house is cool. She nodded, before realising that sounded a little odd, but I'm sure you're a great Lion she nodded again, shutting her gob at last.

But not before she started chewing on a new brownie

Adam entered the second floor corridor, spotting a bench next to a suit of armor. That certainly seemed like an okay spot to sit and read. Going over to the bench Adam sat down, his small puppy JB hopping up on the bench next to him. Plopping open his History of Magic textbook, Adam started to read.

Discovering the castle day: number 2.

So far, Marcelo had already seen the dungeons, the kitchen level and the first floor. He had only never examined the ground floor, but he'd get to that later. For now, he wanted to move upwards. He figured nothing much was on the ground floor anyway, so here he was on his way in the second floor corridor.

Walking down slowly, looking at every detail, he was going to examine the armours when he saw the boy that was reading a book next to it--Adam. He smirked to himself, while the boy was buried in his book. Well, better to be casual and even friendly. The boy was an open book himself, he would spill it all out if Louisa had spoken to him yet.

"Hello, Adam." He even offered a smile.

"I want to apologise for calling you a lier."

Adam heard the sound of footsteps coming down the corridor, but he hadn't really been all that interested in looking up to see who it was until he felt the person standing awfully close to him...close enough that the person clearly wanted to talk.

Looking up Adam spotted Marcelo standing in front of him, saying hello and even smiling. Perhaps Marcelo wasn't aware that Louisa had confronted Adam, and that he knew all the lies that he had spilled to Louisa about their confrontation. There was somewhat of an urge to get up and clock the boy square in the face, but when he apologized for calling him a liar, Adam took a second thought.

He was apologizing?' What the...

"Hey Marcelo," Adam said, closing his book as he did so. The words were polite and even he offered the boy a smile.

"It's alright...I owe you an apology as well. Sometimes I let my temper get the better of me." Well...if Marcelo had an ulterior motive, that was fine, but if he was just apologizing...well...Adam could apologize too.

Well, at least he closed that book and looked at him. Sign of attention. He was even being polite, good boy. So he had learnt some manners, after all. Had it been some other 'dork, he would have laughed at that temper issue; but Adam could get it wrong and Marcelo didn't want an anomisity between them. A visible one, at least. Or else, the boy was still the same idiot that had lied.

"Okay... it's fine." Sometimes such small lies made the difference in human relations.

...now what? Why hadn't Adam brought up his confrontation with Louisa already? Or had the girl chickened out?

Adam sat there looking at Joao...what exactly was the boy looking for him to say? Perhaps he wanted Adam to get up and call him out on his lies to Louisa. Would it really be out of Adam's right to? After all Marcelo had spun the words in a way that made Adam look like a jerk, and worst of all made it seem like his relationship and feelings for Louisa were just some kind of...well...game. But Adam knew that if he approached the whole thing with anger and addressed these lies that he would definitely end up losing his temper. Punching Marcelo or hexing him into next week was definitely not going to help his situation with Louisa because obviously she still liked him, even though Louisa had told Adam that she would listen to Adam's side of the story. Friendship for the win hehe.

"So, I take it Louisa talked to you about us meeting at Diagon Alley?" Marcelo didn't seem to be making any moves that he was going to go there, but obviously that was his reason for coming over here, was it not? He was sure Marcelo wanted to know how the whole thing went down, and who knows, perhaps the two could come to civil enough terms that Marcelo could just stay away from Adam...yeah...Adam would like that. He figured in time Louisa would come to realize the snake that he was anyway.

Finally.

Finally, Adam had brought the subject of Louisa. It would be the moment of triumph for the Brazilian, although he did notice how Adam was speaking so... freely about it, as if they were discussing a homework. Just what kind of conviction he had imposed to Louisa he didn't know, but apparently they had just... talked. Still, Louisa now had worries, albeit buried deep inside, and even that would do against this Adam.

"Yes." He was still standing, thus looking down at him, but his features and voice were all neutral. If Adam and Louisa had casually spoken, so would he.

Waiting for him to spill it all out.

Adam could tell that the neutrality and laid back tone that he had spoken in had slightly gotten to him. Apparently he was thinking that their conversation would have had a bigger result to their relationship than it had. Honestly, Marcelo seemed to be underestimating the quality of their relationship. Did Marcelo really believe that her and Adam were just casual friends, and that Louisa would believe his words without a second thought. Surely not?

At Marcelo's one word response Adam merely nodded again. What was he expecting for Adam to do? Tell him every little detail of the conversation? Um...no...that would not be happening this time. Clearly it was better to say less than more with him because you really had no idea how he would try and tweak things later down the road, and well, Adam didn't want Louisa being that upset and confused ever again.

"Well I'm glad that everything has been smoothed over," Adam said with a little nod before giving Joao another smile. "Now we can all just carry on, Louisa and I's friendship, and well...whatever you and Louisa are..."[/b] Honestly Adam had no idea what the status of their relationship was and honestly Adam didn't want to know.

Marcelo nodded. So everything between him and Adam was sorted out.

"Yeah, now remains the friendship," he said with a small smile, before checking his watch. "I should continue with my discovery of the castle. See you later." And with that, he went towards the stairs to go up to examine the third floor.

Adam gave a little nod of the head. So he considered them to be friends? Well, that was better than the two of them being enemies and getting in fights all the time wasn't it? "Enjoy the rest of your exploring," Adam said with a little smile.

Well...he supposed it would make Louisa happy that they weren't at each other's throats. That was something, right?

"What?" Charles yelped, completely caught off-guard. The kitchens are closed? How? When? Why? did that happen? He supposed that he should've expected something like this after the feast but it was just impossible. The kitchens? The Hogwarts kitchens closed? No way, that couldn't be happening. He noticed that his hand was hanging mid-air with a brownie in it, and he took another bite out of it, swallowing ominously.

"Oh, " He grinned at her, yes he was funny and he was glad that someone at last was appreciating his eating habits. Way to go Amy! "Thanks, that's nice of you to say." He grinned goofily, taking another bite of his brownie. "I bet it's cool, having you." He agreed, winking.

Yep Amy said, mournfully nodding, I had to beg for these she sighed, remeniscing. Man. She wanted more brownies now....but she wouldn't be able too. She pouted slightly. No more brownies, until they stopped striking, its not good. Not good at all

Oh, he was still talking. She looked up from her funk of brownie-ness and nodded, trust me, I'm a piggy she nodded with a grin. And yet, she didn't get fat, it was great. No, not great bril. Well, duh didn't I say I was a puff she winked, I am like cooler than.....uhm...HARRY POTTER

Oh. Actually..no she wasn't

I mean...Peter Pevensie she settled for, nodding and blushing slightly. No one was cooler than the golden trio. Or Aslan. Because Aslan was a speaking lion.

Well, well, well. This could be interesting.
Nikolas had taken this day free -Yes, free!- to wander around Hogwarts since he hadn't done it yet. He was memorizing where the classrooms were, to not get lost and get points taken. Because Slytherin had enough of that by now.

He was walking peacefully until a thought came to his mind. He has forgotten to ask Sel about something and...where was she anyways? He didn't want to go around the castle and look out for her, but he needed answers and right now. So, he turned around and headed to the common room...maybe she was there.
