Salander looked on from the doorway amused, watching the students go about assembling their pies. In a few minutes they would be handing them off to Carter and Evelyn for baking and would then be coming into this room. The Head Boy turned and took another glance at the supplies, colorful paint jars and tubes all lined up on one side and small toy jeeps at the other, stacks of tissue for wiping up mistakes or messes or even just something to test out their colors. And indeed there was a reason why there werent any brushes to paint with. He glanced at his co-Prefects and smirked "We all set!"

Ellie was sitting against a wall playing with one of the ickle Jeeps.

She lifted her head up to Sal. "Are they almost done?" Because SHE wanted to paint a Jeep, too. But she wouldn't get to do that until she knew there were extras. And she didn't want to hog the paint from all the kids actually trying to accomplish this little task. So, she was going to be patient and wait. Or patientish.

Kennedy peeked from the entrance. He was done with his pie and had read the second clue. He wasn't sure if he was heading toward the right direction, but here was.

He slyly entered the room and saw the Head Boy along with Ravenclaw captain. He looked around, allowing his eyes fall on the little jeeps. They looked COOL.

Were they going to play with them?

Then his eyes landed on the paint. Were they going to paint the jeeps, eh?

"Am I in the right place?" he asked, shifting from one foot to the other. It would be SO embarrassing if he wasn't.

Isabelle was leaving the hall when she came across an open door. Looking in she saw the Head Boy, and Ravenclaw Quidditch captain sitting amongst paint and toy jeeps. Isabelle picked up a jeep and looked at it. "So we just paint these however we want?" she asked tentatively looking at the variety of paint color choices. What color would she choose? There were plenty of options.

Coming through the door that he was sure would have led them back to the Great Hall, the Gryffindor was extremely confused to find himself in a small chamber that looked completely unfamiliar to him. It must have been the excitement of making pies and the odd activities going on in the other room that made him unknowingly run off into this room but it seemed to have payed off.

The Head Boy stood in this room with a bunch of toy jeeps and paint. They had to be in the right place or this was just some weird Muggle items club--which would be awesome. But he was pretty sure it wasn't. "Tori, I think we are in the right place. Let's get a jeep!" he went over and sat on the floor grabbing a jeep and a small jar of red paint.

"Ummmmm......okaaaaay......" Tori had drawled, trailing after August somewhat reluctantly. She did see Salander though, and the redhead would pretty much follow him wherever he was. So maybe they were in the right place.

How were they supposed to paint the jeeps though? "Got any paintbrushes, Mr. Head Boy?" Tori asked, shimmying over to him and plucking a little car off the floor.

They were painting model Jeeps?! And finger painting them by the looks of it. This excited Sky, who loved to finger paint. She was practically bouncing with excitement. She wondered if they were waiting for more people or if they could go ahead and start. Seeing some of the others grabbing Jeeps and paint, she grabbed herself a Jeep and and a few jars of paint. She found herself a spot on the floor and got to painting.

Cass walked out of the great hall to here. Huh, looks like she didn't really need to go very far for the next clue then. She walked into the room and looked around, already finding a few people in there, looking as puzzled as her as they all stared at the toy jeepneys and the buckets of paint....no paint brushes. Her eyes widened in alarm at the prospect of finger painting. Seriously? She looked down at her white blouse and sighed. she had just saved it from an apple stain, and now, she was probably going to have to remove paitn stains from it too.

"Do we get paintbrushes with those paint buckets too?" The young blonde asked hopefully. Maybe finding the paintbrushes was part of the game?

He pushed off from where he was leaning at the doorway and made his way towards Ellie, toying with the model jeeps "Yup just about--" he started when he heard voices and shuffling enter the room....



"Yup you sure are!" he said as he welcomed the Slytherin boy that asked if he was in the right place. He waved his arm beckoning the other students to come closer, although it looks like some have even figured out what they were about to do, as he can see by the excited Lion boy. "I'll get to that in a bit ladies" he replied to their paintbrush question then winked playfully at the Slytherin Snakettes

He cleared his throat to get them to pay attention to him even for just a moment "Alright guys, while we're waiting for your pies to bake we're gonna take a big leap from our side of the pond and head out East" like waaaaaay out East. He picked up one of the unpainted jeeps and held it out so they can see clearly "This is a toy jeepney. Its a miniature model of a widely used Muggle public transport in The Philippines. Although this current design has been modified for the purpose of bringing regular folks around, its origins are actually from US military jeeps used during the Muggle World War II. They're shorter"..... he demonstrated the length by covering half the back of the toy model "... and often doesnt have a roof. Must've been a drag when it rains." he mumbled as stared momentarily at the toy before putting it back down with the others. Reaching into his robes he brought out a die-cast model, to give them an idea of what a colorful jeepney would usually look like " Of course, modern day Philippine jeeps are longer and flashier, often its owner would use it as a moving canvass of self expression, just as any customized Muggle car or for us Magical folk-- the way we customize our own brooms."

He gestures to the unpainted toy models and the colorful paint jars and tubes. "So what you're gonna do now is paint the jeeps however way you like it....." which is pretty obvious given whats laid out on the table ".... but without brushes." he said as he looks back at Tori. Yesss Princess time to get messy heh. "You will be creating your little canvass of self expression with nothing more than your fingers and the power of your creativity."



ooc: Just like last time there's no posting limit or minimum, just have FUN, its finger-painting so it cant be helped if things get a little messy. The paint is non-toxic and there are stacks of tissue if your charries need them. Feel free to work alone, in partners, or in groups. Although you don't have to have posted at the previous two tasks it would be nice if you can. And just like in the last event you'll have about 48 hours before the next part of the event is open.

Alyssa followed everybody into the Great Hall. She remembered this place. This was where she put on the sorting hat and got sorted into Hufflepuff. But then the prefect began to speak so she listened to his instructions. They were supposed to pick one of the toy jeeps and paint it with their fingers. "ooooh! I love finger painting." Alyssa quickly walked up to the front and picked out a toy jeep. Then she picked up various colors of paints and sat at one of the tables. Opening up the yellow the paint bottle, she dipped her fingers into the yellow paint, and with her fingers started painting the jeep's surface. "That color will be the main body color for the jeepney. I'll draw in the other designs once the paint dries,"Alyssa said to herself.

Sarah got in just as the Head boy spoke about the next task. Finger painting? Seriously? She spotted a girl picking up the jeep with interest. Sarah moved towards her. "Hello" she said, as she took a jeep. "Aren't you the one who demonstrated in Transfiguration?" she asked. "I'm Sarah. Want me to help you with the jeep?" Sarah chose her colours and looked at the girl.

Yep, it was exactly what Sky had thought. Whoohoo! She opened a jar of black paint, dipped her index finger in and got to work painting the top of her Jeep. It was only after the top was done that she realized that she had forgotten to grab tissues. She hurried back to the supply table, grabbed a small stack of the tissues (just enough for each color change and a few extras for accidents) and hurried back to her spot. She wiped the black paint off her finger, closed the jar and performed the drying spell on her Jeep (to make mistakes less likely). She then opened a purple jar, dipped the same finger as before in, and started painting the body of her Jeep (excluding the wheels).

Alyssa turned when she heard someone speak to her. "Hi there,"Alyssa said with a smile. "Hi Sarah, yes it was me in Transfiguration. Thank goodness I didn't mess up the spell although I did get some melon bits over Professor Cerulean,"Alyssa laughed. "I would shake your hand, but as you can see mine's pretty yellow right now.I'm Alyssa, and sure you can help me paint the jeep. Here pick any color you want." Alyssa pointed to the paints on the table.

For some insane reason, despite her earlier reluctance to paint with her fingers, Cass now found herself insanely excited as she walked up to get a toy jeep and cerulean blue paint. Then she sat down on the floor,crossed her legs underneath her and set the model jeep on the ground as she pried the paint open with her fingers until the cover came off with a silent 'Pop'


Then she dipped two of her fingers into the cool pool of blue paint, painting her finger blue as well, then she applied it on the jeepney and laughed at how messy it looked like. She continued lathering it on the body of the jeep, careful not to get any on the spot near the tires, the top of the hood, and the roof. She wanted those to be a whole different color.

paint...paint...paint..

When the body of the jeep was finally a clean color of blue, Cass set the jeep down to dry for a moment as she pulled her wand out with her clean hand and whispered "Scourgify" freeing her hand from the quickly drying blue paint. Then she stood up to get a vibrant purprle. Then she sat back down with her new color and waited patiently for the jeep to dry.

"Oh, you did great though" she laughed along with Alyssa. "And that doesn't matter" she said, extending her hand, "Given the fact that mine will be equally dirty in a few moments" she winked. Sarah looked at the colours. "How about some dark blue mica?" she asked, picking up that colour. This is cool.

"oh wow! That's a cool color. Here I believe the paint has dried now. Why don't you paint your design on it right now," Alyssa said handing the toy jeepney to Sarah.

"Alright" Sarah said as she dipped her index finger in the paint and took it out. Ew. Awful. She looked at it. On second thoughts, erm, good. She took the toy jeep from Alyssa and put a bob of paint on it. "There begins the designing" she said in a sing-song manner and started with her design on the sides of the jeep.

After a few minutes she scratched her chin, thinking. "Some more colours" she said and picked up some green and white and black. She worked on her abstract design for few more minutes after which she stood up in victory, a smile playing on her lips.

The design on the car looked something like this. "How is it?" she asked Alyssa, searching her face for some reaction.

Ariana Skipped into the great hall just in time to hear what they had to do.. OHH painting! this would be fun! ariana grabbed a toy jeep and some of her favorite colors and DROWNED her hands in the color green and went at it. Next she wiped off her hands to the best of her ability & went for black paint, then the silver & a bit of blue. Ariana hadn't had this much fun in a while!

"Wow! You did a great job. I like the colors and designs you picked out for the jeep. I couldn't have done it any better. Hey! do you want to work on another one? It looks like they have plenty for everyone. Why don't we let this one dry up and go get another one, if that is alright with you." Alyssa asked Sarah. She was definitely having fun getting her fingers dirty. She just had to make sure that she didn't get her clothes dirty.

Oh how pretty these colours were! All bold and bright and lovely shades of the rainbow! Who cares about jeeps? There were pretty colours here for mer-

And... interruption.

Kita tore her eyes away from the jars and bottles and looked at the boy who had decided to interrupt her train of thought. Wait... didn't she know him from somewhere? Sure, he was the Head Boy... she knew that! But... she knew him from before that. And she hadn't come out of it looking too great.

Darn her and her stupid memory!

Kita shook her head and smiled at the boy and Ellie. So the people were coming were they? Did this mean she could get a hand on the pretty colours soon? Teehee!



And there they were! Students. Making their way over to her, Ellie and the Head Boy. 'Course, she was probably the one most of them hadn't met before but... that didn't bother her one bit.

Kita smiled at each one of the little ones girls and boys as they stood around, asking various questions to the Head Boy. She remembered being that young and being curious about everything the older students did. Okay, fine, she still did that from time to time. Meh.

She turned her attention away from the students and looked at the Head Boy as he started giving out the instructions. ... How in the name of merlin was he able to remember all of that?! She could barely remember what his name was and where she had met him before and yet... he remembered all of that!

Kita turned her attention back to the students as the boy finished talking. And... there they go! Right after the PAINTS! Teehee! Looks like she wasn't the only one who liked colours.

Feeling the need to say something, Kita grabbed the box of tissues and held them up for all to see. "Er... if anyone needs to clean their hands or wipe off any mistakes they may have made, we have tissues!" You know, in case they didn't know. 'Cause this is finger painting... meaning that they were likely to get their hands dirty.

And no, she wasn't going to become the 'tissue girl' of Hogwarts.

"And use as many colours as you want!" she said.

... Maybe she would be known as the girl who says pointless things a lot.

After a few minutes, Cass poked the side of her jeep and found that it was dry now, Good. So, she picked it up before dipping her hands into the purple paint, staining the sleeve of her blouse. No matter, she would just clean it later.

Then, like the blue paint earlier, the blonde carefully applied it on the toy, but only focusing on the roof and the hood cover, humming jovially while she did. Then she stepped back, or rather craned her neck back to admire her handiwork. and smiled at it. It may looked crude, but it was a masterpiece in her eyes...and she wasn't even finished yet!

She finished applying the purple paint on the jeepney and grinned. It looked pretty girly now. And to think, people actually rode on these things! Well...bigger versions of them rather.

After she had covered the roof, the hood, and the place near the tires, Cass paused again to let the paint dry before she apply her designs in as she placed the toy back on the ground, replaced the lid of the purple paint and waited.

"Awesome, she leeeeaaaaaned forward from where she was sitting to try and peek through the crack Sal made through the door.

Oh. And they were here!

Ellie listened to Sal's spiel as he went over the Jeeps and blah blah blah. And then the kids were off! Quite aggressively, actually. They did know that they had to wait for their pies to finish to move on, right? So it didn't actually matter who finished painting their Jeep first.

Scanning the room, the amount of people in the room, and the amount of students that showed, Ellie decided they had Jeeps to spare. Go them and being extra prepared. SHE was going to paint on, too. Finger paint. HEHE.

She grabbed a few tissues from her immediate area, and one of the jars of purple paint. Mmmmhhhmm. Painting time.

When she was finished with the body of her Jeep, Sky wiped the purple paint off her finger and performed a drying spell on the Jeep. She opened the jar of silver paint and painted the wheels and "grill" of her Jeep. She repeated the wipe-finger-and-dry process, then reopened the black paint. With it, she painted the tires. After that she moved on to pink paint and painted a heart on the top.

Katrina made a Slytherin jeep. Green, silver, black, and red would complete. She started to imagine it and painted to.

When she was done, she wiped her painted fingers with tissue and waited.
