It was one of those days, it was clearly the end of winter, but it wasn't quite warm enough to be considered spring or summer. On your way to Greenhouse Three you stomp and slush through muddy puddles where the grass has grown thin and the dirt is exposed. The sky overhead is cloudy but the chances of rain are slim. No.. what the sky does hold is hope for the warmer days to come.
Inside Greenhouse Three you find that the Busy Bee had been rather successful. Everything was neat and orderly, even if there were no plants in here as yet. So why would Bentley be holding a lesson in an empty Greenhouse? Hhhmmm I wonder.
The focus of the Greenhouse is on the long raised flowerbed that runs down the middle of the space. Empty plant hangers swing slightly from the ceiling as a chilly breeze drifts through.
Professor Bentley isn't here yet, but she won't be long.
OOC: The lesson has officially started, do NOT announce your late arrival unless you want to lose points. Just pretend as if you were there all along. If you haven't done so already then please read through the Herbology Rules and Expectations and the SS Site Rules. All SS Board Rules apply. IC rule breaking will result in IC punishment, OOC rule breaking will result in OOC punishment. Please behave appropriately and most importantly... have fun. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send me a PM.
The fifteen year old made his way to the greenhouse, curious to see how it had turned out after all the Busy Bees helped restore it, and also because it was class time. It seem pretty empty to him. Were they going to plant stuff? If so, then he had some experience in that since his mom always pestered him about the importance of gardening.
As he stepped inside he noticed Professor Bentley wasn't there. Where was she? Kennedy liked her... in a professional way, but he also thought she was pretty... Okay, enough of that. Kennedy shook his head slightly and looked around.
Was he alone?
No man-eating plants were going to come out and eat his brain out, right?

Minerva came into the green house. She was looking around nervously. The pixies were still in her head from the first lesson. "Hello Professors, any crazy pixies coming after us today?" Minerva went to find a seat. Minerva then realized that the Professor wasn't even there it was another student. "Oh sorry" Minerva said to the student.

Gideon had been a little taken back at the notice that the next Herbology class would be in Greenhouse three...the one devistated by the snow dragon that they had worked on to fix. Perhaps they were to help repopulate it this time around? Nevertheless he headed down to the grounds and the greenhouses and upon entering was glad to see the improvement it had made from when he had first entered to do his part in the reconstruction effort. Granted it was still bare which made him think his idea was plausible. He looked around for the professor but didn't see her around yet only a couple of students so with his work robes on and his gloves and other supplies in his bag slung over his shoulder as he took a spot on one side of the room.
Herbology was just like Gardening, but better. It was an easy class for Zack to coax himself out of bed for. That's saying something: Zack's favourite place in the WORLD was his bed with his cozy blankets.
Settling into a seat near the back, he did his best not to slouch.

Harvey entered the Greenhouse and was about to greet Professor Bentley when he realised she wasnt here yet. So he went over and stood next to Minnie "Hi Minnie, how has your day been so far?" he asked her

Kurumi hurried into the now mostly put back together again greenhouse three carrying a small bundle in her hands. She hadn't gotten much sleep that night since she had promised to tend to the little guy, so the prefect had some bags under her eyes and her hair was out of place in spots. "Hello Professor Bent---" But, sadly, the professor was no where to be found.
Frowning a bit, Kurumi looked down at the sapling in her hands that seemed to have already perked up a bit from the root massage she had tried this morning. She had read about it in her Herbology book in the middle of the night. Something about massaging roots in a certain manner stimulated some factor of the plant that then...did something. Merlin, she really shouldn't read things at three in the morning.
Heading to the front of the room, Kurumi set her things out and then placed her bag on the floor under the table while she waited for Professor Bentley to arrive. Hopefully she had done the plant well, Happa as she had decided to call it, and she could replant it at the end of the lesson.

Striding into Greenhouse Three, a huge smile on her face, Seren held in her arms a a medium sized box. The contents within it shuffled and clacked slightly as she walked.
"Morning everyone!" she greeted brightly as she set the box down on frame of raised flowerbed. "How are we this fine morning?" she asked, while quickly checking the time on her pendant watch. Hhhmmm.. she'd wait a little while longer to get th lesson started.
OOC: The lesson will officially start approximately 7 hours from the time of this post.
Mr. Unicorn: Kim's daughter: Jenn's sister : MILKSHAKES: Lita Daley: The Sun: Its so Fluffy!
Adam watched the box nervously as it seemed to have a beating heart as it began to make a ruckus within itself. It made him very nervous knowing that something dangerous might be hidden in the box but Professor Bentley seemed to be quite happy at the students an perhaps the prospect of their lesson today.
"G-g-good."Adam stammered as he responded to the teachers warm greeting, still not moving his eyes from the box an,at the same time also, making sure he knew the exit if he needed to make a quick getaway if whatever was in the box decided to show it's true colors.

Heading down to the greenhouses for the next Herbology lesson, Stella had found herself almost following Professor Bentley. At least that menat she wouldn't be too late, even if she was still a little bit nervous about the subject. More accurately, the possibility there would be more manic pixies again, and she couldn't forget the snow creature incidents. One of those had been a bit too close for comfort for herself after all, even if the goat had been nowhere near a snow dragon destroying the contents of a greenhouse. She still hadn't exactly managed to drag herself down for the cleanup, though, and she hoped the professor wouldn't be too disappointed in her.
She slipped quietly into the greenhouse after the woman and off to one side as she examined how empty the building was. Of plants, at least, but she also saw a tiny sapling near the Gryffindor prefect. Maybe that meant less dangerous things for them to deal with this time around. The sounds that had come from the professor's box were intriguing, though, and she turned as said box was set down. "Good morning, Professor Bentley," she said with a smile. Positive thinking. "I'm doing quite well today. How are you?" What with the no plants thing and all.

Kurumi smiled when Professor Bentley entered the greenhouse and she eyed the box in her hands. It was...moving... Hopefully there wouldn't be any jumping toadstools in those. She wasn't sure she could handle those right now. Or biting ones. Maybe there were just some bulbs rolling around because of the way she was walking. Nothing weird about that, right?
When Professor Bentley made her way all the way to the front, Kurumi got out of her seat, small parcel in hand, and walked up to her. "Morning, Professor," she said with a small smile and a hint of a yawn. She could make up for her lack of sleep after the lesson. "I stayed up all night with him to make sure he was alright, even sang to him a few times," which Selina didn't appreciate very much, "...so I think Happa is doing alright. I read about how massaging roots can also encourage growth, so I did some of that as well." She then presented the sapling to Professor Bently. It's leaves were not droopy and waxy now, but had taken on a much brighter shade of green.
Hopefully the little guy was alright now and could be replanted today.

Aiden was nearly late for class. For some reason, she always appear in class last minute lately. Well, at least she wasn't one of those late comers who lost house points. When she entered the greenhouse however, Aiden's heart nearly sank when she saw Professor Bentley greeted the early birds. Has the class started yet?
Much to her relief, the lesson hasn't started yet. She let out a sigh, making her way to her normal seat, but stopped briefly near the professor. "Good morning, professor," she greeted politely. "I'm fine. How about you?" asked the young Slytherin calmly.
Spike had a grin on his face as he entered Greenhouse Three. He'd popped into Greenhouse Four on the way, and his bouncing bulbs were flourishing. In fact they looked a bit Spike did when he'd had too much caffeine and sugar combined - bouncing off the walls. And because he was so excited by this fact, he'd brought the bulbs to the lesson with him. The tray was balanced on his hip, and he laid it carefully down as he reached a desk.
"Hi Professor," he greeted with a smile, "Look!" His eyes twinkled excitedly. Today was going to be a good day.
Herbology wasnt' Lillian's thing but she manages to get good grades in it. The only reason she was able to do so was because she loves Professor Bentley.
Her mind was pretty occupied with her random daydreams when Professor Bentley came. "Morning, Professor." she greeted absent-mindedly.
Suddenly, she was quickly snapped out of her thoughts when she heard the shuffling noise inside the box that her professor was holding.
Lillian felt her throat become dry and goosebumps started forming all over her body. "Please don't be something scary and weird. I mean, I'm already a weird person, one is enough for me." she thought to herself as she shifted a bit from her position.
Ashley dragged himself to the class, feeling much more tired than usual for some reason. He couldn't explain it, but it was very annoying. Still, as he approached, he managed to perk up just a bit, so that he was more like his normal self as he walked in. "Good morning, professor," he greeted with a small nod, before finding a place to set his things down and get settled in for the lesson.
Nessie walked in yawning. Darn nightmares. They always get the best of her even if she sleeps the entire time. She was exhausted but she wasn't about to skip class. "Hello Professor Bently." She said before going to stand with the others. She didn't say a word.

Herbology was not the favorite subject for Raven, but slowly she walked to the greenhouse, still tried to enjoy herbology. She entered the greenhouse and Professor Bentley there.
"Good Morning Professor Bentley. You look awesome today." said her sweet although it was not her habit compliment someone. Wandered where are Zhenya and Desiree, both of them were enthusiast in Herbology, different than herself.

"That's good to hear," she replid warmly... poor lad, was he really that cold? "Don't worry you'll warm up soon enough."That was one of the perks of being in a Greenhouse... well, once the door was shut.

Seren smiled at the young Ravenclaw, "Very well thank you." She hoped the students would enjoy this lesson... some still seemed to be a little apprehensive after the pixie ordeal.

Oh Merlin! Had the girl not gotten any sleep last night at all? ... that was dedication. Her eyes trailed to the little sappling in Kurumi's hands. It certainly looked a lot better. "Well Kurumi you did a marvelous job, he's looking so much better already."She bowed her head slightly to inspect the roots a little more closely. He really had taken a turn for the better. "... singing heals the soul... and works wonders for plants too," she said with a wink. "You did a lovely job, I'd say he'd be ready for replanting now, I'll let you do the honours... he's yours now."You could not spend a whole night nursing a plant back to health without wanting to keep it, that was just absurd. "And take five points for Gryffindor."

Eyes wide with surprise and amusement, Seren chuckled lightly. "Oh good, evrything appears to be in order." Not to mention the bouncyness seemed to have rubbed off on the Ravenclaw as well. She only hoped they wouldn't be bouncing around the greenhouse too much, even if the enthusiasm was appreciated.

And it was time for their Herbology Class!
Beezus walked to the Greenhouse Three where their current lesson would be held. She pulled the strap of her bag tighter to her shoulders as she looked at the muddle puddles on the way to the Greenhouse. No plants around.
As she took a peek inside she saw that there were already a fair number of students chatting to and fro. Then she saw Professor Bentley, holding a box that was errr--moving.. Uh-oh, doesn't look too nice.
With a breath she entered the Greenhouse, "Good day Professor." She said with a small bow as she walked over to a seat close to Kurumi Hollingberry.
Aaron made his way over to the Greenhouse, jumping in the puddles and laughing to himself as he did so. He entered the greenhouse and smiled at Professor Bentley. 'Hiya Professor!' He gave the box a quick look before finding a place near the back.

Minerva had been the second person to class, but had not said good morning to the Professor yet. Her focus was still on the look out from Pixies. She was terrified of them from the last class.
