"Alright. The potion needs to continue moving for about a month's time. In the bag there are cameras with wizarding film in them. Take pictures of your classmates, of anything you feel is fun, and exciting. I don't want to see a picture of a book, or something else boring. Go out and play. Take pictures. Once you have done so. Come back to the classroom darkroom. It will remain in red light."
She pulled a camera, and took out the film. She then levitated a cauldron she had under her desk. "I brewed this one last month. You'll notice the colour has darkened so much it is nearly black. The consistency has also changed. It's thicker now." She opened a cupboard and pulled out two developing trays. "I will have these out for you all to use. Ladle the potion in one," she demonstrated, "and then, with gloves on," she put on her gloves, "pass the negative in the potion."
She left it in there a minute. "One minute later, you will need to take it out and put it in the second tray, covering it with water. Aguamenti!" She cast ask she demonstrated what she was saying. The picture was now large, visible and moving.
A month after she'd made her Devomotion Potion, MJ went back to develop her film. The Potions darkroom was bathed in red light. MJ stumbled across the room to her cauldron.
It took a while for her eyes to adjust, though it wasn't all that much darker than the rest of the dungeons. Eventually, she found her cauldron (she'd walked past it twice). She was amazed to find its contents still moving by itself. MJ had never heard of that before. Shows how much the Ravenclaw knew about Potions!
It was such a weird light that MJ couldn't really tell if the burgundy potion had turned the near black that it should have, as everything looked red. She pulled on her gloves and fetched her two developing trays and a ladle. Ladling the potion out into the first tray, she noticed that it was much thicker than it had been in class.
Nervously, she ran her strip of film through the gloopy liquid. MJ counted the minute the film needed to rest in the tray, then pulled it out carefully and deposited it in the second tray. "Aguamenti!" She said hurriedly, covering the film in water. Her picture had grown in size, and was moving!! It was actually moving!! The icky dead fishy thingamabob that she'd done a little levitation dance with. Kind of gross, but...

It had been a month since Alyssa last came in here to check on her cauldron. She had done as Professor Lafay had instructed and had taken a whole bunch of pictures. Some were with her fellow Hufflepuff friends when they had won the snowbuilding competition. Some were with her Quidditch team mates, others were pictures with friends taken all over the school. One was actually funny. A picture of her friend wearing a monster suit that he had been wearing for days!!. But now it was time to develop these pictures.
Alyssa went over to her cauldron. Even though there were other cauldrons in the classroom, she could recognize hers anywhere even under red light. She looked into her cauldron to make sure that the mixture was still moving and that the color was no longer burgundy but darker. Whether it was black or not it was hard to tell because of the room's lighting. She did notice however, that the consistency was now thicker. Alyssa quickly checked her notes about what Professor Lafay had said to expect. Everything was as she had said it would be. "Thank goodness or I would have to do this all over again."
"Now for the developing part." Following the instructions the Professor had given them, she took the film out from her camera. Laying it aside, she pulled out her wand and pointing it at her cauldron, she said "Wingardium Leviosa" levitating it over to where the developing trays were. Then to make sure that both developing trays were cleaned, she took out her wand and said "Scorgify". It would be her luck if the person before her hadn't removed the contents of their potion from the tray. She didn't even want to think what would have happened if her potion ended up mixing with theirs. All her hard work would have been for nought. Once she made sure that the trays were clean, Alyssa then ladled the potion into one of them. Putting on her gloves, she passed the negatives in the potion. Then she checked her watch and waited for a minute to pass.
Once a minute had passed, with her gloves still on, she took it out of the first tray and put it in the second tray. She then removed one glove and taking out her wand, she pointed it in the second tray and said "Aguamenti" covering the negative with water. As Alyssa let the negative soak in the tray of water, she started noticing changes with it. The images in the negative became clearer and larger and as they got more visible, so she that the images were moving. "YES!" Alyssa punched the air in triumph. The process had worked.
Soon Alyssa had at least a dozen photos in her hands. Before she left the dark room she remembered to clean up after herself. She first cleaned out both developing trays so that the next student could make use of it without having to clean it. She pointed her wand at both trays and said "Scourgify" making sure that all the potion in the developing tray and all the water in the other tray was gone. She then cleaned out her cauldron and once that was done, she packed up her things, picked up her photos and left the darkroom.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
It'd been a month since Jory saw his potion. He'd been busy taking pictures of his friends and some parts of Hogwarts's grounds where students frequented especially The Lake. he was excited to see his pictures move.
After his eyes adjusted to the red light of the Dark Room, Jory spotted his cauldron. He was pleased to see his potion was as Professor Lafay had shown the class- not longer burgundy but darker and thicker.
They young Huffie got two developing trays and after casting the cleaning charm on both he proceeded to fill them. "Wigardium Leviosa!" he said and he levitated his cauldron over to one of the trays and filled it with the Potion.
Getting more excited, Jory quickly put on his gloves and put his negatives into the Potion, timing the one minute on his watch. When the time was up, he pulled them out and placed them into the second tray. "Aguamenti!" Jory said pointing his wand at the tray so that it filled with water, submerging the negatives.
Through the water, Jory could see that the pictures' contents were moving. The Giant Squid's tentacles were rising in and out of the water, a student's hair was turning from red to green as she practiced a hair changing spell and students chattering away. Resisting the urge to jump up and down took them out of the water. Quickly he cleaned up around him where he had worked and left the room to examine his pictures properly.
A month after she'd made her Devomotion Potion, Lilly went back to develop her film. The Potions darkroom was bathed in red light. She went to find her large cauldron near the corner.
She had taken some photos, but picked two of the best. Her potion was moving now. Lilly took two developing trays and muttered a cleaning spell as she saw another boy do. She filled the first tray with the potion, using 'wingardium leviosa!' for moving the cauldron. Following Lafay's instructions, she took the film from her camera. Pulling the gloves on, she passed the negative in the potion. Lilly timed one minute on her watch, then took it out, put it in the second tray, and covered it in water. 'Aguamenti!' Once the pictures were large and visible, they started to move slowly. Even more slowly, they sped up. The snap of Harvey was now perfect. The pansies turned brighter, and swayed like they did in the wind on that day. Voila! Finished!
A ship in harbor is safe — but that is not what ships are built for.
Victoria skipped happily into the darkroom with her perfect picture on one hand, and the potion in the other. She set her things on an empty table, noticing that the darkroom is sure pretty dark. Victoria wasn't sure if she would be able to see her work or not.
Victoria had taken a picture of the Hufflepuff vs Gryffindor gobstone match. It seemed very exciting so she just took a simple shot of the action. She would much rather take one of a quidditch match, but since there wasn't any at the moment, Victoria just decided to take one of gobstone. Gobstone's pretty cool too. Victoria just favors quidditch.
The fifth-year she-snake set carefully poured some of her potion into a tray the professor had given out. Then, she laid her picture in the potion-filled tray and waited. When the time passed and the picture is ready, Victoria took another empty tray. "Aguamenti!" The tray immediately filled with fresh water. She then put on her gloves and moved the picture to the water tray.
Hmm...it's got to be visible now. Victoria edged closer to the film strip, and slowly...the image started to appear...until the picture stood visible as clear as light.

Minerva took her camera into the room. She found her cauldron and it was exactly has the Professor said it would be. She found the developing trays and put some of the potion in one. Minerva then put her gloves on and took out the film from her camera. She placed it in the potion and left it for one minute. After one minute she took the pictures out and placed in the second tray pointing her wand she said "Aguamenti" water covered the photos. Once the pictures were done she looked at them. They all turned out great. She cleaned up her work area and then left the lab very happy with her work.

Zhenya had her camera, with all the photos she had taken, and it was one month, and one day after she had finished making her potion. She looked around for a minute trying to find hers, and when she spotted it she carried it over to where she was going to work. She pulled out the film from her camera. She was missing something... "Ah," she said to herself, and she walked over to where a pile of Developing Trays were, and she grabbed two, separating them and putting them on her work area.
She put her gloves on, before she touched the potion. Professor Lafay didn't put hers on until she started handling the film, but Zhenya wanted to be safe. She got her ladle and put some of the potion in one of the trays. Then she put the negative in her potion and waited for one minute. Then she pulled it out, and put it in the second tray, and holding her wand said "Aguamenti," and the tray filled with water. She watched as the photo of her, Desiree, and Raven laughing into the surface of the lake became visible. The three reflections in the photo were laughing, and Zhenya smiled.
She repeated the steps until all of her photos were developed, and moving. She had a nice sized pile now! She put the remaining potion in a vial - this could come in handy... it it lasted long. Then she cleaned out her cauldron, cleaned out the developing trays, packed up her belongings, put away the School's belongings, and walked out of the Developing Lab.

Desiree walked into the dark room, not really sure what to expect, the only experience she had with picture developing, being what Lafay had told them about it. The room was dark and everything had a red tint to it. It had been one month since she had brewed the Devomotion Potion.
Scanning the room, she eventually found her cauldron. She couldn't carry this.. Right the Professor had levitated it. She had practiced the spell before.. once.. Taking out her wand, "Wingardium Leviosa!" swish and flick. The cauldron levitated into the air, and she slowly lowered it to the area she would develop the photos. Phew, no spilt potion today. She gathered up two developing trays, a ladle, and gloves. First, she put the gloves on. Then, she checked her potion. Yep just like Lafay said it was black now, not burgundy, and somehow it was still moving. It was just like magic! hehe.
Thinking she was finally ready she took the film out of her camera. Okay now I ladle the potion into one tray.. yes? She picked up the ladle and carefully poured the black liquid into the tray. Then she placed the negative in with it, waited a minute.. and took it out. Laying it in the second tray, she lifted her wand again. "Auguamenti!" Water filled the tray. She pulled out the enlarged picture, an image slowly appearing..
It was Zhenya, Raven, and her in front of the waterfall. You could actually see the water moving in the background, Desiree laughing, putting bunny ears behind Raven, who was sticking out her tongue, while Zhenya was making funny faces at the camera. This was great, a small smile spread onto her face at the memories.
She repeated the process with all the other photos, watching the scenes of the past month come back to life on the paper.Finishing up the last few, she cleaned up all her supplies. She poured a small amount of potion into a vial (not wanting to waste it) and then raised her wand, "Scourgify!" and the cauldron was spotless, more or less. She decided to take her camera with her, she could always get more film, and she really wanted to improve her photography. With her camera in hand, and a nice neat stack of photos, she left the lab.

One month later...
After took some pictures, Raven walked to the dark room. She took a ladle and two developing trays from the cupboard. Wearing her leather gloves, she cleaned the trays first.
"Scourgify."
Then she took her cauldron and noticed that the potion was darker and more viscous. Then she took a ladle of potion and put it on a tray. Raven took the film and put the film on the tray.
One minute later, she filled the second tray with water. "Aguamenti." Then she moved the negative from the first tray to the second tray. After that, she picture was visible.... Professor Lafay was taught a dance by Slytherin girl at the owlery.
Raven giggled when she saw the picture.

Jesifur entered the darkroom and found her cauldron of potion. It was just as the professor's was when she demonstrated. She walked over and got two developing trays. She set up a station for herself and pulled the gloves out of her bag. She set the gloves within reach and pulled the camera out.She carefully ladled the potion into the first tray. She took the film out of the camera then put the gloves on. She passed the film through the thick potion and began to count, "One, two, three...thirty four, thirty five...fifty nine and sixty." She took it out of the first tray and set it in the second tray.

Exactly one month had passed since the second Potions class. Violet had been busy with schoolwork and extra credit projects and gobstones and quidditch and avoiding crazy people trying to hug her, and in the process she had gotten what she considered to be three really excellent photos! Now all she had to do was successfully develop them, and her second Potions assignment would be done. She entered the darkroom to find it dark and bathed in red light. After taking a few minutes for her eyes to adjust, she looked around and found her cauldron right away--she recognized the cover she had put over it to protect her potion.
When she lifted the cover, she found the burgundy-coloured brew still moving round and round under its own speed--good! The potion was ready! She looked around the room and found the developing trays over on a counter.
SPOILER!!: Developing Trays:
She chose herself a white one and a dark green one (or was it black? It was hard to tell in the dark. She wasn't getting a red one, anyway, that was too Gryffindor for her taste). First she scourgified both trays to make sure they were clean (because you don't know where something you find in a lab has been!) She carefully ladled some of her potion into the dark tray. When she had enough, she got out the small hourglass her governess had given her for her birthday last October--it was just like a regular hourglass, but was only about 5 in. high and it had a charm on it that caused it to make a little ringing sound when the sand had run out. You used your wand to spell it to measure any length of time you wanted, up to 60 minutes--you just tapped the top of it and said the time you wanted. Then you tapped it again when you were ready for it to start. Violet set it for one minute exactly.
Next she pulled the camera out of a large outer pocket in her robe. She had to fiddle for a minute with the catch (she had never opened this camera before), but finally managed to open the door to where the film was and carefully pulled it out. Next she pulled on her dragon-hide gloves, and then, taking the strip of film, carefully laid it in the tray of developing potion, and tapped the top of her hourglass with her wand to start the timer.
Exactly one minute later, the small hourglass gave out a tiny bell-like sound; it would continue to ring every quarter-minute or so until Violet turned it off with another tap. But first, she took the film out of the potion tray, quickly laid it in the white tray, and pointed her wand into the white tray, saying, "Aguamenti!". Violet watched as the water cascaded over the film and began to fill up the tray. When she thought she had enough, she ended the spell and quickly tapped the pesky hourglass, which had been dinging all the while she worked and was getting rather annoying (she was glad she couldn't see the faces of any of the other students who happened to be in the lab, because they were probably scowling at her!)
Now for the good part--Violet peered into the white tray and sure enough, there was her photo of the great hourglasses that stood in the entryway to Hogwarts, with the Slytherin hourglass showing that the best House in the school was ahead!
She took it out and hung it to dry on a small clothesline she found near the developing table she was working at, then turned to look at her next shot--the busy floor of Greenhouse 3, full of student volunteers pushing wheelbarrows and sweeping and carrying pails back and forth:
She took that photo out to hang up to dry as well. Now she turned to look at the shot that had almost caused her to fall off her broom and plummet to her death (or at least her great embarassment) and which looked something like this:
SPOILER!!: Giant Floating Gumdrops!
Violet smiled in satisfaction as she hung that one up to dry as well. One of these was bound to get her good marks! And they all turned out, too! She stood a minute, admiring the emeralds sliding down into the bottom of the Slytherin hourglass, the students moving back and forth in Greenhouse 3 as they worked, and the giant floating gumdrops from her flying lesson. Then she began to clean up her workstation while they continued to dry. She used the Evanesco charm (which she was very glad to have learned) to empty the remaining potion and water from the trays, used her old standby favourite, Scourgify to clean them out (and used it on her gloves for good measure, after she had removed them), scourgified her cauldron and her table area, and finally packed all her supplied neatly in her schoolbag. The developing trays she returned to the counter where she had gotten them.
Finally, she turned to her row of photographs, which were now dry but still moving, unpinned them one by one, labelled everything the way Professor Lafay had asked them to do homework, and prepared to leave the lab and turn her homework in.

Once in the second tray she pulled her wand and aimed it into the second tray and said, "aguamenti". A stream of water sprang out of her wand into the tray. The picture began to appear. There she was, almost blue in the face. Waving and hugging her Snowhuffie, wearing the third place ribbon around her neck. Once the picture seemed very clear and in focus Jesifur removed it from the tray. Looking around she saw no line to hang it to dry. She shrugged, pointing her wand and giving a flick into the air she said, "wingaurdium leviosa". The picture gentle picked itself up and hung in the air. She set aside a bit of her concentration to hold the picture in the air, then turned to her work station to clean up.

Penny had taken great care of her camera, not only because it contained the photographs needed for the homework assignment but it also contained pictures of her best friends in school - and their victory in the snowman competition.
Making her way through the lab to her cauldron, she smiled as she looked at it..it looked exactly how Professor Lafay's had looked last month..Getting the two trays she would need for the developing process, she scanned the trays and thought it best to clean them beofre putting the potion or her precious pictures into it..
"Scourgify", she said twice pointing her wand into each tray as she said the spell.
Taking a ladle and pouring a ladle full into the first tray, and then pointing her wand into the second tray, she said "Aquamenti", the second tray filled with water.
"Ok, so far so good., as she put on her gloves and took the negative film out of her camera...Using her silver knife, she cut the divisions of the negative, separating the different pictures from the negative - now she had two negatives of two different pictures.
Laying the first negative into her potion, she used her watch to time out the required minute, during which, Penny watched then picture come to life, Alyssa was beating the giant gumdrop with her beaters bat and she smiled a self-satisfied smile to herself. then using tongs, she lifted the photo out of the potion and gently placed it into the water - she placed the second picture into the potion...
Penny was delighted to see herself, Alyssa, Minnie, Jory and Janice standing beside 'Yogi' their winning snowbear, all smiling and waving - all of them wearing their first place medals around their necks..Just before the minute was up - Penny removed the first picture from the water and lifted the second picture into the water to finish developing..
Penny was beside herself with glee, very happy that Professor Lafay had set them the Devomotion Potion and picture development - She now had two very precious pictures of her friends to show her family...
Penny left her photos aside, while she cleaned her cauldron and work station..
She had just learned how to empty her cauldron magically, pointing her wand into the cauldron she said "ev-an-ES-koh", and her cauldron emptied...
She repeated the spell twice more to clear out the trays filled with potion and water..but that didn't seem enough, she wanted to make sure all her potion was out of the trays , so she cast "Scourgify"on the trays and cauldron.
Satisfied everything was clean, she brought the trays back to the stack of them at the back of the room and packed up her belongings, swinging her bag over her back and carrying her photographs - "Alyssa is going to love these.", Penny thought to herself as she left the darkroom.
One month.. and a few days had passed. Louisa walked into the dimly lit room quietly, for some reason the lighting in here suggested utter silence. Walking over to her cauldron from the classroom, she peered into it. The liquid was dark, very dark thanks to the dark room. The girl grabbed a white tray and a possibly blue one, she scourgify'ed them both. She ladled the now-thick potion in the white one, taking her time in doing so, before wearing her gloves.
The film was out from the camera in a few seconds and she passed it through the potion, moving very gingerly and squinting her eyes a bit as she did so. Next, she took it into the blue tray and took off one glove. The wand was in her hand and, "Aguamenti!" she whispered strongly, water coming out of her wand and filling the tray.
The minute passed really quick with Louisa watching the few students who were working on their own photos as well, she thought about the result of her own and.. BEEP BEEP! It was a minute.
Louisa grabbed the photo from its corner and stared.
It showed the white cat jumping out of her basket onto Louisa's lap -which had the metal silver egg- and Louisa falling backward into the water with wide eyes and open mouth. All in motion and repeating over and over again. Louisa's mouth drew a grin.
"Scourgify," she used the spell to clean the trays, the counter and the outside surface of her cauldron before pocketing the picture and heading out. It was a funny moment!
Once Jesifur finished cleaning her workstation, she put all the materials away. She turned to the picture still hanging mid air. It looked dry now. She gently grabbed the edge of it. Yes, it was dry. She looked at it, watching herself shivering and smiling turning to the snowhuffie she built and hugging it. The third place medal hanging from her neck. She smiled at the picture, then stowed it away. She glanced around to make sure the area she had worked in was clean. It was of course, she did take her time to do everything the correct way. Better to do it slow and right, than quickly two or three times. She packed up her bag and headed out the door.
Potter Nurse || Hockey obsession <3 | Go Wings! || Geaux Tigers!
Finally. A month had passed. Now it was time for the last step. First things first though….she needed to gather a bit of her potion in order to develop them properly. She stepped into the darkroom and boy, was it dark, though it did have a reddish tint from an unknown source. Kourtney looked around for a few moments before she approached her cauldron and peered into it with a bated breath. It was still moving! And it had darkened in color, just like Professor Lafay’s had done. Success! At least for now.
Allowing herself a tiny smile, she pulled two developing trays towards her. A red and white one. Very Gryffindor-ish. Setting each tray in front of her, she cleaned each one using the Scourgify charm. It would be unfortunate if a dusty tray affected her correctly brewed potion. She stowed her wand away, slipped on a pair of gloves and then picked up a ladle. Carefully, and slowly so that she didn’t drop any, she scooped up a bit of potion and added it to one of the trays. Good thing the consistency had thickened a bit; made things easier when transferred the potion.
She cast Aguamenti on the second tray, watching as clear water slowly filled up the reservoir. Now…for the picture. She removed her gloves momentarily and opened the camera to remove the film. She was Muggle-born, so she knew her way around a camera, but this was her first time in a darkroom. Who knew that Hogwarts would give her all of these great experiences?
Kourtney carefully removed the film, and then placed her gloves back onto her hands. She dipped the negative into the potion, allowing it to sit for exactly one minute. While she waited, she thought back to when this particular picture was taken. She and Indy certainly were feeling creative that day. Hopefully the picture came out as well as she hoped.
The young girl looked at her watch as the seconds ticked by. 55, 56, 57, 58, 59…60. She reached into the solution and removed the picture, immediately transferring it to the water filled second tray. As the picture settled into the water, it changed in front of her very eyes. Initially, it had not been very clear, but now, it looked as though normal pictures looked.
With a smile, she picked up the picture and held it up to dry. The picture was moving, showing Indy waltzing with Greg the Smarmy, over and over again. Cool! She would have to give this to Indy for a keepsake. It was amazing what magic could do!
Once the picture was fully dry, Kourtney cleaned up her workspace and packed her equipment away. Now it was time for lunch.
Nessie walked into the dark room and got one of the developing trays and carefully ladeled her pitch black potion into the tray making sure that she didn't spill any on the table.
She put her gloves on and slipped the picture through the negative. She set her watch to go off in one minute and she set up her second tray. Her alarm went off and she dropped her photo into the second tray.
"Aguamenti!" She chanted. She took the picture out and watched amazed as it moved.
William made his way to the dark room. William pointed his wand at the developing tray. He said "Scourigify" and both developing trays are clean. He put his gloves on to get ready to develop all the pictures. He points his wand at the other tray and called out "Aguamenti". This tray is filled with water. William used the red and blue trays. The red is filled with water. William took off his gloves and took out the film. He took ten pictures. Five were of classmates and the other five were of the grounds.
William used a ladle, put the black potion in the blue tray. William put his gloves on as the red tray is filled with water. Willaim said his watch one minute each time he went to develop a picture. He developed them by slippong the pictures through the negatives.
Then Willaim finished by puting each photo one at a time into the tray with water. His friends will like their pictures. William will like the pictures of his friends and the pictures of the grounds. This process took him ten minutes.
William then pointed his wand first at the red tray and he called out "Scourgify" to clean it. Then he finished by pointing his wand at the blue tray and said "Scourgify". Both trays are clean. The pictures are developed. Wolliam can't wait to show them to everyone. He left the darkroom clean.

After her conversation with Matt out at the Willow, Stella had headed back inside and gone straight down to check on her developing potion. The quicker she could develop the photos the better, since at least then she wouldn't have to keep worrying about the camera scratching her egg for Charms or anything. Since she wasn't about to leave it in the dorm with the undeveloped pictures in it. Thankfully, as she'd glanced in her cauldron, she saw that the potion inside was just shy of a true black. There was still a faint reddish undertone, but it basically looked like Professor Lafay's had done during the explanation of the developing process. So, carefully levitating the cauldron, she'd headed for the darkroom. Time for actually seeing if she could manage to develop her pictures, although it took her a moment to adjust to the dim lighting in the room. Not even the red cast it gave everything, just the fact it was so dim.
She managed to set the cauldron down on a table, though, then went and retrieved two developing trays and set them next to the potion after making sure to Scourgify them. Less likelihood of spilling any potion between point a and b that way, and she set her camera down as well. Now to begin, and she ladled some of the thick potion into the closest tray before opening the back of her camera and retrieving the film. Slipping her gloves back on, she passed the first negative into the potion. The photo of Lyra, as she figured that would be a better test than the others, and then she'd know the process worked before trying it on the photos from outside. After a minute, she set the negative into the second tray before slipping her wand into her hand. "Aguamenti!" Covering the negative, she watched as a slightly blurry image of her kitten playing in the dorms appeared. Taking the larger photo out of the water, she looked at it again for a moment before setting it aside to dry. Focus was a bit off, it seemed, unless that was just because Lyra had been moving fast, but hopefully she'd gotten her photography techniques straightened out before she'd taken the other two pictures. She'd find out soon, and she turned to retrieve those negatives as well to repeat the process.

One month seemed like a short time for Jonathan. A lot of studying to do. A lot homework to catch up to. It was crazy. He doesn't even know which one to start and which one to pass first. But still, he managed to do a couple of homework and has passed some of them already.
Now for the awaited moment, he finally took a picture of his friend and after doing so he ran immediately to the dark room to get this one developed. He is so excited to see how this one turns out. It's the first time Jonathan will be developing a picture. This should be really fun.
Like the professor had instructed, Jonathan went to take out two of the developing trays and put it beside him. Taking his wand out "Scourgify!" he uttered. It was always best to clean your stuffs before doing the experiment. He took the red one and a green one.
After that, he put on his gloves so that he can already start with the fun homework. He then ladle the potion onto the red tray then he opened the film and soaked it into the potion. Looking at his potion, it was already dark and thick. Well, Lafay did say it has to have that dark burgundy color. Was it burgundy?
The room was silent so Jonathan just kept on developing the film. It is creeping him out a little bit though. Then as the negative was soaked into the potion, it was now forming into a blurry picture. A few more seconds and it'll be finish. He remembered that Professor Lafay mentioned a minute for the negatives to be soaked on the potion before putting them into the second developing tray.
1 minute. Jonathan finally saw a picture, he then quickly lifted it up and immediately put it into the second container. Pointing his wand onto the green developing tray "Aguamenti!" he uttered and saw the water fill up the tray with the picture inside. Now he can finally see Jeanne's face.
After awhile, he took the picture out was happy with the results. Of course the picture was moving and he's just happy to see that he had done a good job.
SPOILER!!: result
DONE!
Jonathan then started cleaning up his work space and packed up his stuffs. Now to go back to the common room.

Walking into the darkroom, Kurumi felt oddly at home in these surroundings. She had spent so much time in the dark room in the yearbook office that she didn't even register that she was in the Potions classroom - which meant that she was not breaking out into hives or a rash from being nervous. Good thing too, developing photos took precision and being distracted by thoughts of Dragon Lady would certainly make her hand slip at a bad time.
Walking around the room until she found her cauldron, Kurumi set everything down and peered into it. Good, the color was just as had been described in class which meant that things should go according to plan. Assuming she followed the steps properly.
She grabbed a tray and removed her wand from her turquoise holster. "Scourgify," she commanded, cleaning the tray and the ladle. Dust getting into the potion now could be disastrous. She then put her gloves on and picked up the ladle, filling it with the solution and pouring it into the tray. Once this was done, she picked up the negative of the photos she had taken during her and Selina's girlish pillow fight in the dorms and ran it through the solution, letting it float to the bottom. Her eyes then flew to the timer and and quickly cast Scourgify on the second container.
10....9....8....7....6...5...4...3...2...NOW!
Kurumi took the negative out of the solution and placed it immediately into the empty one, pointing her wand at it. "Aguamenti!" The negative expanded like a sponge and she leaned over, waiting for the photo to develop. Kurumi had done this so many times before, but this time she was feeling even more excited about it, probably because this had a real personal touch to it. It was a moment that Kurumi would remember for a long time. A really happy memory, perhaps even one that would be strong enough to produce a patronus.
Yeah...it was THAT good.
After a few more moments, the picture appeared and a smile was instantly brought to the Gryffindor's face.
SPOILER!!: Team Kurina <3
"Perfect," she nodded as she took the picture out of the clean water and held it up to the light. This was going up on her bulletin board above her bed.

After she did with a photo, Raven tried to develop another photo. Still using her gloves, She cleaned both of the trays. "Scourgify." Then she pour a ladle of potion on a tray. She put the negative on that tray.
After a minute later, she moved the negative to another tray and she filled it with water.
"Aguamenti."
Then the picture was appeared. A young couple at the lake were dating and kissing.
EEEEKKKKK....

Indiana was really looking forward to developing her photo. It was going to be amazing, well she hoped so anyway. She really was hoping that the picture was going to be really cool, Kourt and Indiana had tried to make the pictures as interesting as possible after all. She wandered into the darkroom, with her camera held carefully in her hand. She didn’t want to mess the camera up now, because that would be pretty bad. She was looking forward to seeing what the picture looked like, as well as to see what Kourt’s looked like. This homework was so much fun. The young Ravenclaw wandered over to a bench, and placed her camera down on it gently. She was going to be very careful with this, she didn’t want to break anything.
Indiana picked up two developing tray, and placed them onto her bench gently. Picking up one, she wandered over to the cauldron which had the potion in. It looked pretty dark, nearly black, very different to how her potion had looked when she had finished brewing it. Picking the ladle up, she carefully poured some into the developing tray, being careful not to fill it too much. Depositing the ladle back, she walked slowly back to her bench, placing the developing tray onto the bench next to the empty one. Success, she didn’t want to have gotten it all over the floor. Reaching into her bag, she grabbed her gloves, and pulled them on. Now to get the negative into the potion. She carefully picked it up, placing it into the potion.
She had to wait one minute. That wasn’t too long really, but Indy didn’t want to get too distracted. It was only a minute though, so things shouldn’t be that bad. She hummed a little, swaying a little as she waited for the photo to develop. Ahh. It had been a minute now! Indy beamed, stepping forward, and with her gloves on she picked her photo out of the developing tray with the potion in, and she placed it carefully into the empty one. Next she needed to cover it with water. Well she could do that. She pulled her wand out, and pointing it at the developing tray she said. “Aguamenti.” Water came out of her wand, and Indy filled the developing tray carefully. Ooh. She could see the picture now. Oooh. It looked so good.
Indy beamed, taking her gloves off, and picking up the photo up, and waving it a little, so that it would dry. Perfect. Awww. Kourt looked so pretty. Indy was pretty happy with her work. It looked epic. She would totally need to show Kourt.

Walking towards the darkroom, Erin looked for an empty work table to develop her photos. She opened her cauldron and saw that it was thicker now and darker compared to its burgundy color last month. Ow! So, a month had already passed. She didn't even notice. Pulling out her camera from her robe pocket, she took out the film and placed everything over her work table.
Erin took two developing trays from a cupboard. She knew that Professor Lafay was a little frantic about cleanliness so she muttered, "Scourgify!" before starting her work. Before the tray could even acquire dirt again, Erin took hold of the cauldron and ladled the potion slowly onto the first tray so as not to spill its contents anywhere outside. Erin put her gloves on as the Professor had instructed. Then she took hold of her photo's negative and drenched it onto the potion.
1 minute should pass.
As she was waiting for a minute, Erin casted, "Aguamenti!" A jet of water came out from her wand and filled the second tray. And one minute was over. She lifted the photo out of the potion and submerged it in the water. The figures expanded and it started moving. Beezus with her beautiful smile, her lips curling slightly as she closes her eyes for a second, Davinci, her cat was scratching the egg and Louisa was stiff aside from her blushing. What a perfect picture!
Before leaving, Erin cleaned up her work table and hurried off the room.
