Misc. School Notes: Spent as much time in the dungeons as he did in the classroom, so it's a bit surprising to many that he actually graduated Hogwarts and managed to complete two university degrees all while playing Quidditch. If you look carefully in the corner of his office, you will find his favorite chair . . . the chair he spent many hours sitting in (which he took from the dungeons during his first term teaching).
Personality: Max loves to have fun as much as he loves his wife and children, and Quidditch. He is a good-natured man, but he can't abide students/individuals who snap their fingers or are outright rude to him.
Personal History:
Max is the youngest child in the Vindictus family, and has a twin brother, Marcus Kostandin Vindictus, (who is 1 minute older than him), and an older brother, Rex Altair Vindictus. His father, Reginald Kostandin Vindictus (Reg is the only son of Swedish singing sensation [and one-hit wonder] Kajsa Regina Henriksson), a Durmstrang alumnus, was the head coach of the Vratsa Vultures for 45 years. Max’s mother, Maureen Fiona Vindictus, a Hogwarts alumnus, is a homemaker and a garden-design specialist. Brother Rex is the current Head of Magical Games and Sports in the Ministry of Magic, and twin brother Marcus is a Healer at St. Mungo's in the Artefact Accidents ward.
When Max and Marcus were two years old, their older brother Rex decided to show the twins how to fly on their toy broomsticks and it was revealed that little Marcus was not gifted in the flying department (this incident explains why he currently lobbies for safer flying methods, including the use of a patented flying harness for broomsticks). However, little Max was a natural at flying and proceeded to break all vases in the house to his mother’s chagrin and his father’s delight. Childhood summers were spent with the entire Vindictus family visiting their Irish cousins (Maureen’s sister married a Shackleton) and traveling to watch Reginald train his Vratsa Vultures.
At the age eleven, like hundreds of wizarding children before him, Max received his letter and arrived at Hogwarts. The Sorting Hat had an easy time placing him in Ravenclaw and the adventure began. During his first year, he became friends with Fabian Clark and Doyle Branxton. It was also during his first month at Hogwarts that he earned his very first detention with Valon Kazimeriz (he broke the man’s favorite teapot). It was the first of many detentions with Kazimeriz who seemed to appear wherever Max happened. His third year at Hogwarts saw Max make the starting Quidditch team, captained by his brother Rex, as a Beater. It was also during his third year that the infamous Vindictus broom-smashing incident in the Ravenclaw Common Room took place when the brothers got into a heated argument - look carefully, and you might find a large sliver of mahogany jutting out of a section of the stone wall to the right of the fireplace. He had to learn quickly how to balance homework, detention and practice, and became quite good at it. Whatever the strategy was, it seemed to work because Max earned 9 OWLs and 5 NEWTs before graduating from Hogwarts.
Hours after graduation, Max tried out and made the reserve squad of the Heidelberg Harriers to the delight of his father. To appease his disapproving mother who told him to use his brain and get a degree, he enrolled in the local university and worked as a model for a German sportswear company so that he could pay the bills. Two years passed before Max finally made the starting squad as a Beater. From then on, the sky was the limit for Max who was considered one of the fiercest Beaters the sport had ever known.
After twenty-two years of playing Quidditch and five Quidditch World Cup appearances for England, Max decided to hang up his bat and broom, and try something else less physical instead – he bought Quality Quidditch Supplies and decided to run the store on his own. He had only been in Diagon Alley for two years when one day, a nervous-looking Cassandra Rae-Branxton approached him and offered him the position of Flying Instructor and Quidditch Official at Hogwarts. At first, he thought that Doyle had put his wife up to playing a joke on him, but after a few uneasy moments of silence he realized she was serious and he accepted the job.
Max's goal when accepting the Flying and Quidditch position at Hogwarts was to improve the flying skills of the students, reinforce safety when flying, teach them proper broomcare techniques, and to re-live flying history. Creative lessons have been the norm for him - from Creaothceann lessons with falling marshmallows and trying to fly on carpets to Quodpot and bashing pinatas. Even the final exams left some students with a healthy dose of respect for flying. Quidditch, however, has been his biggest challenge because the teams are always in a constant state of change. Max set forth the rules and enforced them. It's not uncommon for him to be seen watching team tryouts and practices, or pulling student-athletes to one side and making sure they were staying out of trouble and keeping their grades up. Same thing goes for the Ravenclaw students - Max is always keeping an eye out on his Ravenclaws, especially since becoming Head of House.

Personality: Renée is very personable and open, willing to talk to people and listen to them, and she likes making new friends and acquaintances. History: Renée was born the eldest daughter of Geoffrey Bishop, a English publisher of Wizarding books, and Anneliese Edwards, an American actress and witch. Geoffrey had met Anneliese when she had traveled to London to take part in a play on the West End, and quickly fell in love with the beautiful young actress. Thankfully for him, she reciprocated, and they got married a year after they first met. She chose to settle in England for a while, not wanting her new husband to have to move just so she would be happy, and besides, she could find work just as easily there as she could back in New York. Anneliese got pregnant a few years after her marriage, and gave birth to her daughter in England.
However, when Renée was four years old, her mother got the chance to star in a Broadway play, and since she was getting a little tired of England, Anneliese went to Geoffrey and asked if they could travel to America. He agreed, able to work for his publishing firm pretty much anywhere he needed to, and the small family moved to New York. Renée was placed in an exclusive school for young wizards and witches, once she turned six, where she managed to cultivate many of her skills and likes. Except for one; she had been born with predilection for the magical ability of Legilimency, passed down from her father's side, although he himself didn't have the skill, nor did her immediate grandparents. So she was essentially left on her own to figure out how to deal with it, which she managed to do through books.
When she was 10 years old, her brother Sebastian was born, which Renée wasn't entirely sure about. Her parents, especially her mother, had been busy before, leaving her on her own a lot (although she had still developed a strong affection for them), and after her brother's birth, much of their attention shifted. And, considering she got her letter to Hogwarts a year after that, her own interaction with Sebastian was limited to school holidays and the like. Because of that, it almost made her relationsip with her brother like that of a cousin, or something similar. They’ve never been extremely close.
At Hogwarts, Renée was sorted into Ravenclaw, which nobody really found strange, given her propensity of immersing herself in books when she wasn't trying to find ways to get into trouble. Using her legilimency, as well as the fact that nobody expected the little bookworm to be a troublemaker, she got away with most of the things she did. And the rest of her time was spent holed up in the common room, the library, or out in the grounds, writing short stories and other little fanciful things, when she wasn't doing homework or developing her burgeoning interest in divination as well as continuing to augment her knowledge about her ability.
She did well on all her exams, getting 11 OWLs and 9 NEWTs, and transferred to Wizarding university, where she earned a degree in divination. After graduation, she chose to travel Europe for a while, visiting both Wizarding and Muggle museums, libraries, and other interesting places, learning more about her chosen subject and acquiring Anastasia in Russia. But when she turned twenty, her mother died in what was described as a freak accident at the theater she had been acting in, and Renée was forced to cut her travels short to return to New York and help her father and brother deal with the loss. Which was made more difficult due to the near-estranged relationship with her brother, but they managed to handle it as well as possible.
While she was in New York, she acquired a job teaching divination at a fairly new Wizarding private school, as well as worked for a Wizarding library in the city and tutoring people on the side in her pet subjects. Any excess energy she had was channeled into writing, and she wrote her first novel at the age of 24, a Wizarding crime/mystery novel loosely based on the circumstances of her mother's death, which she believed to have been the result of a Killing Curse although she hasn’t deciphered the reason someone would murder her mother. She chose to seek out a publisher other than her father, as well as developed the loose pen name of Arabella Edwards, wanting to avoid accusations of nepotism, and after publication, her book became moderately successful. Enough that her publisher asked her to write more, making the book into the start of a series, based on the cases of her main character, Johanna Evans.
She continued with her teaching position for three more years, before she decided she wanted to branch out again, get out of New York for a while. After making sure her little brother was doing well, having graduated and searching for his own career in New York, and her father was okay as well, she traveled back to England, packing up her belongings, as well as Anastasia and Bowie, who she had gotten shortly before. She moved into a little flat, writing her second book at the same time she was trying to send out feelers for another job. When she found out Hogwarts was looking for a new Divination professor, she applied for the position, and quickly became the newest professor at her alma mater.

Spending most of her childhood between the English countryside and France, she was home-schooled up till her attendance at Hogwarts. She's the first of all her siblings to attend Hogwarts. All her other siblings either attended Beauxbatons or Durmstrang. At the age of 8, her family moved to London and have resided there since. She sends most of her summers in France with her mother and siblings as he father is rarely home and on business.
Mina is known as the well-behaved one among her sisters. Odetta was the wild, scandalous sister, Camille the picture of a perfect English lady, and the twins, Victorie and Noemi, the babies. Mina was just in the middle of it all. She was just there and kind of blended in, never bring too much attention to herself. Things changed on the year lending up to her eleventh birthday. From the time of her tenth birthday to her eleventh, she Begin to resemble her eldest sister in appearance. They were both described to have a flawless porcelain complexion, dark brown hair, and wide hazel eyes. Many thought that Mina was a mirror image of Odetta at that age, but the similarities ended there.
Mina was always known to have a book in her hand and could be found in the library or held up in a quiet corner doing something studious. She was her father's little book. Her thirst for knowledge rivalled his to a fault at times. That reason alone was why her father chose to let her attend Hogwarts against her mother's wishes.
Even at a young age, Mina showed high magical potential. Her first incident of accidental magic was at the age of 4, when she turned her brother, Sebastien's hair magenta after he stole her favourite book.
SPOILER!!: Year-to-Year Breakdown
First year:
Mina was the first Bennett to attend Hogwarts and was almost sorted into Slytherin, like her father. Very shy and quiet her first year, she mainly studied and went to classes. She never really interacted much with others until the CoMC/Herbology class. This is where she met her first friend outside her own house. From that moment on, she began to open up and started to befriend others. She took to liking the game of Quidditch after watching her first real match between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. The Eagles lost, but she had a great time and the seed was planted for her to try out the next term. During this time, she developed a slight crush on a certain friend and tried as hard as possible to hide it. The severity of the crush was brought to the surface during a potions lesson, where a love potion was involved. A slight cat fight resulted. Blood, cries, and many hurt feelings came from that lesson and thing were a bit awkward for a few months. Hiding her feelings more, things eventually went back to normal. She was also one of the top five house point scorers for Ravenclaw.
During the summer, she attended the Quidditch World Cup and travelled to Transylvania with her cousin, Jade. She eventually ended up spending most of her summer in the company of her cousin. Whilst Jade was at work, she was usually found in Diagon Alley or wandering Hyde Park. After purchasing her first boom, she spent most of her summer practising in preparation of trying out for the house team.
Second year:
Second year started out rather slow for Mina. Nervous about the upcoming Quidditch try-outs, she turned to one of her best friends, Carter, to help her. Both were caught flying over the Black Lake by Professor Vindictus. Having received her first detention, she was a bit withdrawn and a tiny rift was form between herself and Carter. After some time, all was right with them again. Her nervousness over try-outs were for not, as she was put on the reserve team and actually played in half a game. Her studies did fall a bit, but soon they were back up to standards. A lot more vocal and active in everyday activities, she was found all over the place with her best friends and new friends. The night of the school wide sleepover, she turned up missing. But was found in the courtyard bloody and injured later that same evening. Withdrawing more for her usual self, she began to act strangely and had no recollection of the night she disappearance for weeks. One evening, all became clear to her. The same evening she managed to attempt to harm Carter and some other students. Once the dust settled and she could remember all that had happen, she withdrew even more. There was a threat of her not returning in for her third year. Even with her late start of her studies, she was still one of the top five house point earners for Ravenclaw for the second year in a row.
During the summer, she was 'banished' to France. Unable to see her friends, she spent a lot of time writing them over the summer. In hopes to possible change her views on her friends and those she associated with, her mother and grand-mère introduced her to many purebloods. She only spent a month there, before returning to England and her father. Spending very little time with Jade over the summer, she spend a lot of her time in Diagon Alley. This is where she overhead something that literally crushed her. This lead to her missing a certain best friend's birthday and not being able to meet a certain little sister.
Third year:
Must like the end of her second year, Mina was a bit withdrawn from her friends and throw herself into her studies and trying to forget certain things that happened over the summer. On the train ride back to Hogwarts, she came across an older Slytherin and ended up befriending him. She was at this point openly avoiding certain friends and hiding out in the library a lot. Focusing on just her studies and a few new friendships, she managed to once again because the old Mina that would be found around the castle with a smile. With a new term came new ambitions and once again she had her eye on the House Cup and the Quidditch Cup for her house. Again, she tried out for the house team and was put on the reserve team but managed to play in most of the matches. She love for the game had only grown over her summer and being able to play again was a wish come true. Over the term, she slowly became more friendly with a certain older Slytherin and once again began to form feelings for something she considered a friend. Unable to talk to her best friend about it, as she wasn’t really talking to him at the moment anyway; she had to just keep her feelings quiet and to herself. What wasn’t said couldn’t really hurt her, or so she told herself. As the term started to near its second half, an Alumni dance was organized and she acted as one of the committee heads. Working hard to get everything perfect, she took a lot of pride in the job the committee did and was happy to see it all come together when she arrived to the dance on the arm of the one boy that she had feelings for but couldn’t tell him. They were just there as friends. Walking out to get some air, she came upon her best friend and happened to see her date and his ex, who also happened to be the girlfriend of her best friend, together in what seemed to be an intimate conversation. A misinterpretation of what was seen, lead to her best friend slipping his drink on her dress and her interrupting the former couple. Left alone with her date, she allowed herself to tell him everything. From that night on, they were a real couple and not just friends anymore. As the term neared its end, she let go of any hard feelings she had for her best friend’s girlfriend and they started to become friends as well. Balancing all the new aspects in her life, she managed to keep atop her grades and once again was in the top five house point earners for Ravenclaw; top to be precise.
That summer, she announced that she was dating one of her newest friend’s ex and that she was to be send away to Beauxbatons. This announcement was made whilst she was visiting this newest friend’s home over the summer. That same day she also witnessed her best friend kissing another new friend in the presence of said other new friend. Seeing all of this came as a surprise and only seemed to confuse all that were involved. The remainder of the summer was spent living in the moment, as once the train arrive they would all be separated by school.
Fourth and Fifth year:
Mina spent her fourth and fifth year at Beauxbatons. Her family, mainly her mother’s side, thought that all the trouble that happened in her second year was grounds for her removal from the school. It had taken one term to remove her, but upon her being pulled from Hogwarts she was enrolled at Beauxbatons. It was a beautiful school, but her heart was at Hogwarts. She did make what she could of being at Beauxbatons though. There she was reunited with an old ‘claw and friend, Tibi Pryce. He was just the friendly face that she needed when she missed home. During her fourth year, Beauxbatons sent champions to Hogwarts for the Tri-Wizard Tournament. She was rather envious of the party that were visiting her home and she rooted for her Hogwarts champions all the way from France.
During her summers, she would floo back to London to see her cousin and her friends before having to return back to France and Beauxbatons. Each summer before she would floo back to London, she pleaded for her family to allow her to go back to Hogwarts and be with her friends. That first summer she told her no, but she never stopped asking.
Her fifth year was very calm and she only focused on her studies and writing to one person back at Hogwarts. Over the past year she had grown really close to a certain She-Snake and kept in touch with her, despite a kiss that might have happened between her and Mina’s boyfriend the previous year. Rumours of things had reached her ears and during the winter break she again invited her boyfriend to visit her in London. They needed to talk things out. Fearing that it was the end of them, she again laid it all out on the table about where they stood.
Upon her finishing her fifth year, she put her foot down and outright refused to return to Beauxbatons. Spending a good portion fighting with her family, she gained her wish as was allowed to return to Hogwarts to finish out her final two years with her friends. Keeping it a secret from almost everyone, she moved all her things into the house she basically shared with her cousin, Jade; and ventured back into Diagon Alley to get her supplies and possible run into her friends.
Born to August (Wizard) and Dianna (Muggle) Basthowe on January 20th, Kannalynne was a healthy, bouncing baby girl, who brightened their lives every day. She lived in Germany until she was six, when her family moved to London to pursue her father's career in business management. When she was seven, she had her first magical encounter when she turned off a radio with her mind while she was trying to sleep. Until that day, she was believed to be non-magical by her family, which didn't bother them, but when it was discovered that she was a witch, they were thrilled. She had many magical experiences, which her parents had to discourage to keep her from getting in trouble.
The day after her tenth birthday, she recieved her hogwarts letter.

Kannalynne is reserved, but at the same time, she's vivacious and full of energy. She loves to laugh and have a good time, though she does know when to be serious. Having been read to from an early age, she is very intelligent though she dosen't always show it. She likes to think logically but certainly isn't afraid to think outside the box, and she absolutely adores music - she almost always has her MP3 player with her, and can frequently be seen with her earphones in. She dosen't know if she believes in love, but she's honestly a little afraid of it. Kannalynne is really an energetic, fun person, although sometimes she acts like she's unsociable and stand-offish. It just means she's deep in thought.
She's observant and blunt sometimes, but she is sensative to people. She loves to entertain, a little comedian. She dosen't care for most people, but the ones she loves will always have a tiny piece of her heart.

Pigeon (pigeon) - A little bird, grey, of course, that Kana uses instead of an owl to send letters. He has two black stripes on his left wing. Pigeon loves to eat popcorn, and is kept clean, unlike other pigeons, which he doesn't get along with. He thinks he's an owl, and is therefore up a lot at night.
Kit Caboodles (ferret) - White with black front paws and a little black "mask". She's very soft and has tons of energy. She loves to travel with Kana by curling up in the front pocket of her hoodie, or in one of her sleeves, or perhaps in the hood. The Tri-Wizard Tournament was taking place, and the powers that be had decided that the tournament was more important than Quidditch.

I. In the beginning….
Ivory Vitya Erised was born to Mary Vitya and Joseph Asclepius. Mr.Asclepius, a Healer a St. Mungo's, being of muggle upbringing ( Or so he thought) was still quite partial to the muggle life and had decided together with his wife to raise their children among them.
Their first and only daughter, for only sons followed, was a perfectly normal little baby albeit a very small one. It wasn't until shortly after her 4th birthday that her mother noticed that her daughter's eye color seemed to change depending on her mood and although she was seen constantly biting her nails every time Mariana asked to see her hands, her nails appeared long and even. Worried that she was victim of some passing curse or jinx, she was taken to St Mungo's Hospital where she was finally identified as a metamorphmagus. It was a fact that mystified many a healer and her family alike. Her father had been thought to be of muggle descent while the Vitya line was one who could trace their magical roots centuries back and had no known history of any metamorphmagi in the family. It was considered a geneological oddity for Ivory to have been born one. Stumped for the moment, the Ascelpius family raised Ivory as they thought best. And because she would be attending a muggle elementary school, she was warned against changing her appearance and grew up with the phrase "Real beauty is on the inside" stamped into her subconscious. So with no one to teach her and no real idea of what her abilities meant or could progress to, her abilities were sadly lacking by the age of eleven and she was consequently labeled as being "underdeveloped."
II. Growing up....
Ivory grew up knowing she didn't quite fit in with the other muggle kids and the only time she felt completely at ease was during the holidays when the family spent them with her mum's blatantly magical relatives.
She was small even by an eleven year old's standards coming in at about 4'3" with average brown hair that falls in straight waves to her shoulders with large thickly lashed dark brown eyes which her mother says are best features saying everyone can read her emotions like an open book. Her mother’s side of the family is very curvaceous but unfortunately in her opinion there are only hints of that as of yet.
And so Ivory sought refuge in music and reading...everything from her mother's old transfiguration and charms textbooks to the newest muggle fiction and she was rarely seen without a book in hand and a MEBAD (Musical Earpiece Bewitched for Auditory Duplication) in ear, which she sometimes plays her violin along to.
Of course, growing up with 3 younger brothers did not make it any easier on her, and she consequently has a few hobbies that aren’t quite as mundane. Playing a rough game of quidditch in the enchanted-to-look-normal backyard, is a favorite pastime when she actually feels like putting up with Artemis and the twins.
Due to her mother’s steady stream of community involvement, she has been an unpaid babysitter for more times than she’s ready to admit and has thus developed a very protective, nurturing side for those she cares about. Shy at first glance, it wasn’t until one really talked to her that it was noticed that she had a quick wit and excellent sense of humor although it wasn't too hard to see she was indefinitely very self conscious.
III. Finding out the Family History…
It was right around the time that Ivory received her Hogwarts Letter that another was received. A letter requiring the family to attend the reading of the last will and testament of a certain Tomas Dantes Erised. The reading was one that detailed the truth about Joseph’s birth.
It was many years ago, when Tomas, a young man then, had toured Europe in search of a good time. He’d already known he’d inherit his father’s legacy one day but for now he was content to live his life one day at a time. That is until the day he visited the children’s ward of St. Mungo’s and stumbled across a certain female healer, engaged in trying to make the injured children laugh by changing the color of her hair. Fascinated by her genuine smile and character, Thomas knew right then that she would one day be his wife.
Gloria Turquoi came from a mainly matriarchal family , metamorphmagi blood running strong in her veins just like it had in her mother, and her mother before her. Beautiful, alluring, and intelligent, she was everything Tomas ever wanted.
And so they were wed. Never had two people ever been so much in love. Eventually, thoughts of starting a family together took hold and deciding it was time to put some roots down the couple began to make a home for themselves away from their overbearing families. But alas it was all too good to be true. For years, they tried and tried to have children, always trying to be optimistic but knowing their time was almost running out as their biological clocks were ticking. And yet one day the impossible happened. Joyously pregnant, they planned for the new baby boy, taking every precaution knowing full well that at Gloria’s age it would be a high risk pregnancy.
That should've been their happy ending. It should've been where they walked off into the sunset hand in hand to live happily ever after all together as a happy little family, but life oft times has other plans. As a new life was born another was taken , the complications during the birth too strenuous. Gloria Turquoi Erised was gone not moments after first holding her son. Devastated at the loss of his one true love, Tomas couldn’t bear the thought of raising their son without her. In that one quick moment of despair he did something he’d come to regret for the rest of his life: He gave up his only son for adoption.
The will went on to express Tomas’s sorrow and embarrassment at his cowardice especially in his attempt to keep the whole ordeal hidden from the rest of the Erised and Turquoi family; However, it also confessed to the fact that he kept tabs on Joseph throughout his life. A man of considerable power, he’d indirectly influenced quite a few aspects of his son's life and now named him his only legal heir. Leaving to him all his holdings, properties, and amassed fortune.
While Ivory’s father had no other siblings there were many an Erised family member that saw it in their best interest to contend the will seeing as almost none of them knew of Jospeh’s existence with the exception of his mother’s favorite sister, Emmaline whom no one seemed to be able to locate. Out of the woodwork appeared cousins, aunts, uncles and distant relatives all clamoring for their part of the inheritance.
IV. The bright side…
The legal proceedings that followed were long and tedious, legally resulting in the name change from Asclepius to Erised. Ivory now Ivory Erised had not only inherited a new family but a new heritage as well, the answer of where her abilities had come from finally answered. Not only that, but Tomas whom had become aware of little Ivory’s condition had willed her her grandmother’s wand. An aged wand with intricate carvings, it stood proud at 11.3 inches of Bois de rose wood with a core of Gubraithian fire. An ancient coveted Torquoi family heir loom that was passed down through generations and was said to only respond to the touch of a Turquoi descendent with metamorphmagi blood in her veins. Since the first moment Ivory held that wand, there was never a doubt in her mind that it belonged to her. A fact only emphasized by the small flare of blue flame that blossomed at the tip every time the smooth wood came into contact with her hand.
V. Time at Hogwarts
❶It was during her first year at Hogwarts that Ivory met her best friend and partner in crime for life, Arya Lovegoods. The year was passed voraciously reading everything she could get her hands on and trying her best in every class she could, finding a soft spot for a certain grandfatherly Professor Kazimeriz and finding a mother away from home in Professor Morgan-Lawson. Being awfully selfconconcious as she was, she usually hesitated before doing spells in front of people for fear of causing a fire however eventually she grew more confident in her magical abilities and grew to love her wand as an extension of herself. Many memories were made that year, although not all of them good.
❶That year was also the year that Ivory was victim of the Imperius unforgivable curse and forced to duel for the entertainment of sick minded individuals along with being forced to fight against her fellow classmates and professors. Although she'd like to think that she's moved past it all, she still wakes up every once in a while from horrid nightmares that involve her being a puppet and forced to hurt the people she cares most about. Keeping all of that in a tightly closed box in the dark recesses of her mind however the only obvious result of the whole thing was that she developed a strong adversion to butterbeer.
❷After many a debate among her family, it was finally decided that Ivory would in fact be returning to Hogwarts. Between having fun with her best friend, making new friends and still being the book worm she's always been, Ivory has grown to think of Hogwarts as a second home.
❸It was in the summer of her third year, that her Great Aunt Emma came into the picture with no explanation as to where she’d disappeared for all those years. The woman was old and eccentric but didn’t appear to want any part in the legal proceedings. However, she had been hemming and hawing for Ivory to spend some time with her after discovering the young girl was also a metamorphmagi. Her father, rightfully suspicious of the old woman and the fact that she'd let him believe his whole life that he had no living relatives even though she’d known of his existence, had had his misgivings but her mother had conceded, sure Great Aunt Emma had just gotten lonely in her old age since her own grandchildren rarely visited.
❸And so it had come to pass that Ivory and her three brothers spent a large chunk of that summer listening halfheartedly to an old woman's rambling and on Ivory's part many, maaaaany reprimands and deprecating comments. Oh, you would have had so much potential....its a pity.... That's all you can do??Why at your age I could... and who could forget the ever offensive 'And your not adopted, your sure of it?' Aunt Emma was convinced that something was horribly wrong with Ivory and her underdeveloped talent. It did not help matters, that Tiffany, the only one of Emma’s grandchildren to have inherited Metamorphmagi abilities decided quite conveniently out of the blue to visit. Having of course been instructed in the mystery of her abilities since birth, Tiffany was eveything Ivory wasn’t. She could control her emotions to not change involuntarily and could change everything and anything at will from body mass to skin tone without so much as breaking a sweat. To say Ivory’s feeling of self worth decreased would be an understatement.
❹Unbeknowst to Ivory, Tiffany was in fact sizing her up. For all intents and purposes, gathering intel. She’d gotten the idea that she was the rightful heir to Turquoi heirloom wand. So during Ivory’s fourth year, while she was preoccupied with new Prefect responsibilities and her studies, Tiffany decided to take legal action against Ivory’s ownership of the wand.
❹The summer of her fourth year had her traveling from courtroom to courtroom as the legal proceeding progressed. With Tiffany and her family even going as far as to call in medical experts to ascertain that Ivory’s abilities were so underdeveloped that a Metamorphmagis wand would be of no use to her. Forced to show the extend of her lack of abilities in court, Ivory was put through a series of magical and medical tests to discover whether the problem was an inborn one.
❺It wasn’t until she was evaluated by a psychiatrist in Switzerland whom after finally convincing Ivory to divulge the happenings of her first year determined that she was not underdeveloped so much that her fear of not being in control was inhibiting her from fully developing her potential. The case dismissed until further notice, Ivory went home exhausted, drained, and feeling used.

Extra Info Personality: Vashti can be a little shy when she is in a new place and knows absolutely nobody, but generally she's very bubbly, out-going, and fun-loving. Background: Born on May 2, 2059, to Victor and Vivian Greenwell, Vashti never expected to find out that magic existed and that she could be a part of it all. She had two wonderful, but non-magical, parents, went to a non-magical school for years, and had many non-magical friends. But then it all changed the day she turned eleven, and a person showed up on her family’s doorstep with a letter saying that she had been accepted into a school called Hogwarts. After many hours’ worth of discussion, her parents gladly accepted the fact that she was a witch and agreed that it would be best for her to attend this “Hogwarts” place. All three agreed it would certainly be cheaper than sending her to the school they had been planning on. Though not exactly poor, they never did have a whole lot of money they could just throw around willy-nilly on things.
Vashti’s first and second year went off pretty well, having not really been involved in the crazy “Fight Club” that affected the school in her first year, and became a huge Quidditch fanatic, even managing to join the team both years as a reserve. But with the start of her third year came a brand new stressful experience – just before her third year began, her father was diagnosed with a fatal brain tumor. Reluctantly, she went back to Hogwarts and was further disappointed in the cancellation of Quidditch for the Triwizard Tournament. She corresponded with her mother and father through owls when she could and went home every time they were off for a holiday break. Some days were more stressful than others, depending on whether her mum’s last letter said her dad was doing better or worse. She was ready to come home at the end of the year, but the day she got back became the worst day of her life: Just a few hours after she arrived at the hospital, her father passed away while both Vashti and her mum were in the room with him.
It was a devastating blow to the Greenwell family, and they would never be the same. Victor’s death brought not only emotional stress, but financial as well. Vivian had to get a second job, and Vashti even took on a part-time job for awhile, to make ends meet. Whenever Vashti wasn’t working, she took care of their small house – cleaning, washing dishes, making the beds, all the little things like that so her mum wouldn’t have to worry about it when she got home after a long day at work. All this kept Vashti busy and nearly convinced her that she shouldn’t go back to Hogwarts for her fourth year – her mother needed her more than Hogwarts did, she reasoned. Her mother, however, did not agree to her quitting her education there, knowing her daughter would be better off getting away from all this. Vivian refused to let her go to a Muggle school and by the time the first of September rolled around, Vashti had reluctantly agreed to go back to Hogwarts, but only at the assurance that her mother would live at Aunt Grace’s, Vivian’s sister, house for awhile so she wouldn’t be alone.
So fourth year began against Vashti’s wishes, but there was perhaps one good thing about this year – Quidditch was back. So, of course, Vashti tried out and was thrilled to find out she’d made the team again. Quidditch practices and games helped keep her mind off of other things, at least while they lasted, and gradually she began to not think about her father’s death or start crying as often as she had over the summer. Her once-positive and friendly personality continued to become prominent once again, especially so after Ravenclaw won the Championship Quidditch match.
With the start of her fifth year, there's pretty much only one - okay, two - things on her mind: the OWLs, and Quidditch.

History & Personality:
Jimmy is a little bit of a slacker, at first glance anyway, or at least the bits of him that aren't made up of equal parts mischevious trouble maker or class clown tend to be labelled 'slacker'. He has no interest in pushing himself, no idea what he wants to do with his life and hardly any expectations on him in the first place, so why live life as a swot? He could do it if he tried, so why bother? Its not like he has anything to prove. In general his grades tend to be all 'Acceptable' but only partly because of his lack of academic drive. Its not that he isn't smart, its just that he doesn't find school work to be a challenge or enough of a reward to warrant actually putting in the effort. He's given himself a challenge of getting nothing higher than an A which means he has to figure out the precise amount of work to do (or not do) in order to achieve a non-exceptional pass, in itself requiring a lot of effort.
He's always had to make his own fun since his parents' work involve a lot of travel. He has had a series of full-time tutors and managed to drive each and every one of them away with his antics. He considers it an achievement and something to brag about. He likes spells that cause amusement. Amusement for him at the expense of others of course. Hexes and jinxes, plus a few charms he might have invented himself, though he'll never take credit for it.
Jimmy is fickle when it comes to the opposite sex, not one to spend his youth stuck with one girl. Its not like he plans to get married or anything anyway, so why shouldn't he just have fun and ditch 'em when they get boring/clingy/insert-appropriate-adjective-here? He's not really a jerk, but sometimes he doesn't communicate his opinion on the matter and causes others a bit of grief. Jimmy is a joker with a cheeky, cocky grin. Its his sense of humour that often smooths things over when he's gone too far.
He's a big Quidditch fan though because of his lifestyle travelling around and being tutored, he hasn't ever really had the opportunity to be on a team, though he can definitely handle himself on a broom. He can't stand divination or any of that junk where you try to get to know your inner self or whatever. So Arithmancy is out, so is Ancient Runes... though he doesn't mind the part where you transcribe stuff, thats kind of alright. And he does do Stav, and Runes are kind of important to that. Muggle Studies is pretty awesome, so is potions. Its hands on stuff, you know?
He is kind of interested in writing stuff though. Journalism is something he wouldn't mind too much. Maybe. Deadlines aren't so great, but he could see himself asking the hard hitting questions. He's volunteered to write on some of the school publications. It'd at least be an awesome way to meet girls, right? And you know, his cousin could always set him up with a job one day. Meaning he wouldn't even have to be awesome to get employed. Rock on.
Jimmy's parents are magical patent inspectors, not for the British Ministry, but for the International Magical Patents Authority, under the jurusdiction of the International Confederation of Wizards. This means they travel a lot and it isn't always very predictable. Aside from visiting Ministries across the globe in order to audit Ministry approved patents, they also assess and inspect patents claimed by independent wizarding companies and small businesses. Part of their job requires them to use spells which seal a patent and they also ensure the patent itself does not break any laws. Jim reckons its all pretty boring but thats how its been since he was small.
Jimmy loves martial arts. Aside from Stav he's also proficient in Karate, Wing Chun and like Kickboxing a fair bit too. Education-wise he has been tutored since age seven. To begin with he learned History of Magic, Astronomy, Magical Languages (incl Ancient Runes and Latin and Greek for spell root words) , Arithmancy, Arts (Magical Arts, clearly. Portraiture, Sculpture and Photography), Creature Studies and Spell Theory (For Charms, Transfigurations, Hexes, Jinxes and Curses). Once he reached Hogwarts age he began to learn all the regular Ministry Approved subjects. His tutors have also served as his guardians when his parents have been away. He has had 23 tutors so far, and managed to drive each and every one away regardless of how determined they are to stick around. Finally though, his parents decided Hogwarts was a good idea.
His first term at Hogwarts, as a 5th year, didn't go too badly. It was a little boring and honestly he was a touch homesick but there were a LOT of pretty girls to distract him. And naturally he got himself in a bit of trouble and a bit of attention for his apparent girl hopping ways, even ending up in the underground gossip paper, Aparecium for his troubles. Neptune Bott his friend and... friend, knows right how to get under his skin and vice versa. They're both stubborn and a lot more gooey on the inside than one might think. Whatever. She was HARD WORK so while Jimmy and Neptune made up as friends (actual friends this time) thats where things stand now. Another blonde has caught his attention, this one much much easier to get along with and its possible, at least for right now, that Jimmy's got himself a bit more serious about a girl.
Even if her friends are weird.
Jimmy got himself on the yearbook and school paper for his fifth year but while he happily helps out the Quill in a pinch, he's pretty much stepped down from that. We'll blame it on OWL studying, but it was really so he'd have more time for snogging. He passed all twelve OWLs, with six 'A' grades and six 'E' grades, though he was aiming for all acceptables since he still prefers to just coast.
Sixth year was spent mostly dating Marie Salazar and Jim would have liked that to continue but she dropped him after nine months, the longest he's ever stuck seriously with one person and not accidentally cheated on them. He played Seeker for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team and then in an unfortunate accident (because Tegz had bad internet) he collided with the stands and ended up missing the last games of the season, including the championship, due to a serious concussion and more than a few broken ribs and nasty bruises. Once again he managed to get himself featured in Aparecium without knowing it, only this term he finally found out not only that he had been the subject of some pretty full on gossip, but that one of his closest friends was responsible.
The summer between 6th and 7th year has seen him lose a friendship (hopefully temporarily) with Finlay Carmichael, and go back to his playboy ways, with the snogging and whatnot. He has however, matured a lot and mostly its just an act, a way of coping with hurt feelings that he won't acknowledge openly.

Jeanne Morgan is the only daughter of Mendel Inglebert Morgan and Helen Delacour- Morgan. They both went to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Mendel was sorted under the Ravenclaw house while Helen was sorted under Gryffindor. Mendel grew up as the brains of the family. Like his other brothers they were quite open-minded about the blood heritage of each witch and wizard. Helen Delacour also grew up being open-minded about the blood heritage of each person. She is the type of witch that doesn’t really get bother whether or not you’re pureblood or muggle born. The two first met at a Quidditch competition. Helen played as a seeker while Mendel was part of the crowd. When Helen got hurt in one of their games, Mendel was the one who took care of her. The two eventually got married a few years after they graduated and started working at the Ministry of Magic.
The three Morgan brothers were very much close to each other except for their oldest sister, Mirabella. Mirabella was the only spoiled child of the Morgans. She is prejudicial and always believed that purebloods are superior to the rest. After graduating at Beauxbaton Academy of Magic she married one of the sons of a dark wizard. Ever since then, she hasn’t been in much contact with her family.
Mendel educated Jeanne when she was younger and shared her the same principles as his father. He also took care of Jeanne fairly because he doesn’t want her to end up like her sister, Mirabella. Helen always spends her time with her family whenever she gets the chance. Since her father is not the “sporty” type, Helen is the one that teaches Jeanne to ride a broom and play Quidditch.
Due to this, Jeanne grew up being able to be friends with whomever she likes despite whatever blood status they have.
Personality!
Jeanne is a very out-going person. She is quite sarcastic and funny in a way that makes people laugh. She’s not mean but she can be impatient sometimes. Jeanne also inherited her father’s brain and her mother’s out-going personality. She is somehow in the middle of it. (She’s not too smart and she’s not too perky). Like her parents, she's also open-minded about the blood heritage of witches and wizards.
Jeanne loves accessorizing and shopping. She doesn’t shop or buy a specific thing, she just loves to just go around and buy some colorful and crazy stuff she could find.
Jeanne may seem to be a little too happy on the outside because she never lets anyone see her cry or get mad. She’s more distant when it comes to her feelings.

Jeanne attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry when she was 11. She was then sorted into Ravenclaw.
Although, on her second and third years, Helen (Jeanne’s mother) decided to transfer Jeanne to Beauxbaton Academy of Magic for no explanation/ reason. There, she was sorted under the Papillonlisse which is the equivalent house between a Ravenclaw and probably a Hufflepuff. Beauxbaton Academy of Magic was a different school than Hogwarts thus, making Jeanne an outcast with the other students. The language barrier was also one of the major problems why she didn’t get to acquaint with many friends. Jeanne thought that the school was nice but it wasn’t a lifestyle she wanted. She described it as “too girly” and “prim and proper”.

ABOUT MEFinn can be seen to be quite self-centred, caring about himself a lot, and this is generally quite true, but deep down he is a nice guy, who cares for his friends...well there best interests anyway, and what he will get out of it. Finn cares about his looks a lot, and this really means that he doesn't have that much interest for girls (expect for breaking their hearts) and friends, although he does have a small number of close friends

History Finlay was born into a very wealthy and sophisticated family, whom of course had many many secrets. In the days of Voldermort his Great Grandparents were interested in the cause, but not actively involved, thus allowing them to escape imprisonment in Azkaban. As the generations of Carmichael's moved down the purity of blood remained, but wasn't that essential, and the family is no longer pro pureblood, thus allowing Finlay to marry whoever he wants.
Finlay has 4 siblings, twp older, and two younger, and his mother dotted on them a lot, spending most of her time with her children. This took its toll on the marriage of his parents. His father actively cheated on his mother, and although he never thought his mother knew, she did. His parents only stayed together for the sake of the children, and to stop people talking. Therefore the children grew up totally unaware of the tatter that was their parent’s relationship. Or so Finlay did until the age of 10, when he witnessed a very big argument between his parents, where he became aware of the infidelity. This had a pronounced affect upon Finn's life, and he generally finds commitment hard, choosing to break hearts instead; thus allowing him to have quite a different exterior to what he is actually like. Only close friends know who he really is, and even those do not know the extent of the secrecy that is occurring in his family.
At a young age, due to the mixing of pureblood families, Finlay met Jimmy and the pair have been close friends ever since, and often spent the days when they were being home-schooled, fooling around in Diagon Alley. At the age of 14 his parents decided that he could go to Hogwarts...and so he is here...at hogwarts.
His first year was quite exciting.He snogged a big number of girls, broke a couple up, and then fell for Lexi Denver. This lasted for about a year, and now the two have moved on.
His sixth year was spent mostly flirting, and occasionally doing some prefect duties. He got onto the ravenclaw house quidditch team, and it was here that he decided that he really wanted to go Pro. So he really did focus the year on his quidditch, rather than his studies. Near the end of the year he starting having feelings for Marie Salazar. It seemed bad, as this was his best friends ex girlfriend, but he couldn’t stop himself, and the pair dated for the summer, before splitting up on the train ride back to school.
Unfortunately due to his betrayal Finlay ended up losing Jimmy as his best friend. This kind of sucked for the guy as he’d been best friends with him for his whole life. Finlay tried to put this behins him, as he went for trials for the Montrose Magpies quidditch Team. He feels that the trials went pretty well, and is awaiting an owl to confirm their decisions of wanting him on the team.

Ellie’s hair is the only part of her appearance she truly cares about. It’s ALWAYS straight [for the most part], but as she gets older, she’s becoming more and more tired with how BORING that is. Feeling her hair on her shoulders and neck is Ellie’s natural comfort blanket. She never wears it up and never really plays with it in any way, shape, or form.
She has a habit of chewing her bottom lip when she’s nervous or thinking, so it’s more than likely there’ll be a blister or two there.

HERstory -
SPOILER!!: This came out WAY longer than anticipated
Once upon a time, in a castle far, far, away called Hogwarts, Pureblood Jason Stone of Gryffindor and Muggleborn Helen Wright of Ravenclaw fell in love. After a few blissful years together, they had gotten married. And soon after, Helen gave birth to their first born – a daughter they named Eliana. She was their pride and joy until, just over 6 years later, they gave birth to their son, Aidan. A few more years later, and they bought their Screech Owl, Screech, who completed their happy family.
Not long before Aidan was born, Ellie began exhibiting behaviors that could be described as nothing other than different. Not to her parents, though. They couldn’t be more pleased because this only showed that their daughter had inherited their gift of magic.
Ellie was just as pleased as her parents were of discovering her new powers. So much so, that she learned to control them at a considerably young age. Or, at least, she could suppress them and prevent unwanted happenings.
Without her daughters’ powers’ unpredictability to keep her home, Helen, believing the muggle way of her own childhood to be advantageous, enrolled Ellie in activities such as public school and ballet lessons. Ellie didn’t mind the social aspects of both of these activities, and quite enjoyed them.
Meanwhile, at home, Ellie was still immersed in a magical environment. She loved the wizarding fairytales and games. Her favorite thing to do was to fly her broomstick, playing Quidditch-made-easy, and inventing other flying games with her father and godfather.
Frequently, Ellie would get to visit her mom’s side of the family, which included her grandfather, uncle and aunt, and cousins, exposing herself a little more to the Muggle world. However, she never saw much of her father’s side of the family, save for her grandmother who would brew the potion she’d take for the frequent migraines she’d get all her childhood until they seemed to disappear some time into her second year at Hogwarts.
Her brother, Aidan, pleased the family by exhibiting his own magical abilities around the same age Ellie had. However, unlike Ellie, Aidan wasn’t able to gain control over his powers. He had quite the opposite problem, where he’s not only unable to suppress them, but they’re amplified, resulting in many incidences of fire, particularly.
At age eleven, Ellie received her long awaited letter from Hogwarts. The September she was set to turn twelve, she was on the train to her first year at the castle.
Once there, the she was, to her mother’s pleasure, sorted into the house of ‘wise’ Ravenclaw. The first thing she did, aside from eagerly attempting to make friends, was sign up for the house Quidditch team. She played Beater that year, and her teammates became her family. She soon figured out which classes she liked for their academics – Flying and Charms and Transfiguration – and which she liked for the professors – History of Magic and Divination. She also figured out which classes she disliked for their academics – Astronomy and Ancient Runes – and which she disliked for the professors – Potions [she stopped going after the class when Lafay made them bald…she loves her hair *points up*].
Her first term included events such as the Job Fair and Alumni ball. She was a bit too young to take the Job Fair seriously, but that’s not to say she didn’t enjoy it. She still has the little figure of the Antipodean Opaleye on her nightstand in her room, though the charm that made it animated has worn off. She had more fun at the Ball, though, with the dancing and FOOD.
The summer after her first term, she visited New York with her family. It was a short lived trip due to Aidan’s magic acting out, as are most, but Ellie especially didn’t mind then. She thought New York was boring and dirty and never wants to go back. The rest of that summer was spent in her backyard, training for Quidditch the next term.
THAT, however, never happened. Her second term was the same year Hogwarts hosted the Triwizard Tournament. Consequently, Quidditch was cancelled. Though, not happy about this detail at first, the excitement of the Tournament quickly made up for it. She rooted for Raiden Kururugi to win through, but ultimately the Champion title was given to Fletcher. It was okay, though, and celebrated with a costume ball. Ellie didn’t dress up for it, but that’s beside the point.
During the summer, Ellie’s family opted to stay home. It was much appreciated because, after the whole year of inactivity, Ellie devoted all of her time to flying.
Third year is Ellie’s least favorite term to date. Not only were her friends Nia and JD not returning, but her favorite professor, Nolan Reynolds, affectionately called Reyn, hadn’t returned. Although forewarned about this at the End of Term Feast last year, Ellie hadn’t really believed such a thing would happen. Not only did Reyn not return, but he was replaced by a terribly mean professor who wouldn’t allow Ellie to win the argument of stealing Reyn’s position, and re-decorated Reyn’s already perfectly decorated office and classroom. In the absence of Reyn, Ellie found comfort in her friend, Treyen, who above all helped her start the process of getting over the ex-Divination professor. She also found great comfort in the new Charms professor, forming an indescribable relationship. A camera she got as a Christmas present, in remembrance of Reyn, also aided in letting go of the fact that he’s no longer teaching, but she could still keep the memory of him. She’s used it to keep every memory since, carrying it around EVERYWHERE. Also, third year brought back Quidditch! Though it took her all year to adjust to the fact that the insane Jacob Blunt was made captain, she was glad to have it back in her life. She didn’t play her favorite, and previous position of Beater, but played Keeper, Chaser, and Seeker. The team won the Championship game, giving them a 3-1 record.
Ohlookit! The present. Ellie plans to spend a majority of her summer fully submersed in the muggle world, staying with her cousins. She should be home in time to get enough Quidditch training in before the new term starts [her cousins don’t live far, after all]. And occasionally seeing Little Professor [Eeee!].
Personality and other things that explain why she is the way she is-
Ellie. She’s confident, strong willed, and light-hearted. She loves to eat and fly. She’s finding a liking for taking a pictures [kinda, sorta explained upwards]. She doesn’t like studying or reading or learning in a boring way. Because of this, mostly, she hates anyone who’s stuck on those silly ‘house stereotypes’. She doesn’t like spiders or bugs in general. She loves her friends and teamies [even Jacob, but she wouldn’t admit it]. Above all, she loves her dad. As far as she’s concerned, he’s the best, most talented, funniest, smartest person and wizard ever [I think this is why she gets attatched to a particular male professor at school. A dad away from home]. She’s protective and loves her little brother to no end, no matter what shinnanigans he gets himself, and her into [like setting her bed on fire]. And she thinks her mom is brilliant, even if she’s weird in preferring muggle methods to most, and is semi-strict. Her go-to conversation starter is Quidditch, if you don’t know it or don’t like it, she’ll try her very best to change that.

BACKGROUND
Melina was born in Surrey to her very proud parents, Marcus and Millicent. She attended Muggle Elementary school, where it was first discovered that she had magical abilities. In the 1st grade, another girl made fun of her. She got so mad that she levitated a chalkboard eraser and chucked it at her head. Her parents were called into the principal's office immediately. Unfortunately, they had to withdraw her from the school. Her father took her under his wing, helping her to learn how to control her magic. He explained why she was special, and how she needed to keep that gift away from Muggles, who didn't understand it.
The family moved to a large condominium in downtown London when Melina was 8, due to the fact that Millicent received a promotion at the United Nations and was made a Mediator for countries in disagreement. This did afford Melina to go to a new school, where she new to keep her magic under wraps. She loved her school and made many friends.
She had been put in a preschool dance class when she was 3, and she took to it like a duck to water. She showed great promise, and when she moved to London, was accepted into the prestigious London Ballet Theatre where she has been training ever since.
Melina threw herself into ballet to fill the hole in her heart left by her mother's constant neglect. Millicent's career had always taken precedent over her family, but she became even more unavailable after her promotion in London. She only really spent time with Melina when she could show off the girl's talents to "important" people. It's left Melina hurt and very bitter.
Melina's dad is her whole world. Two years ago, he was hit with a bad curse while chasing down a pair of Dark Wizards in Serbia. Even St. Mungo's couldn't precisely identify the curse. Since then, Marcus has been bound to a wheelchair (charmed to help him get around - he calls it his "Firebolt" 3000), and suffers from chronic pain. The Ministry gave him the highest honor there was, the Alastor Moody Award of Excellence, and pay him a good disability pension.
Melina is a good student, a fast friend, and a talented dancer. She is a perfectionist, always critical of her own work, never satisfied with her performance either in school or on the stage. Inside, she subconsciously strives for perfection because she believes if she was just perfect enough, she would earn her mother's love and attention.
Other than that, she's your typical 'tween, reading Teen Witch Weekly, hanging out with friends, and starting to notice boys in a BIG way.

Background:
Born in the town of Florence in the early hours of the morning, Ryden's mother died shortly after giving birth to her and her twin sister, Bridget. It had been a hard pregnancy and Olivia Di Marco had been an exceptionally fragile woman who hadn't been able to survive the birth of her twins. Overcome with grief, Guido Di Marco, Ryden's father, decided to leave their home in Italy and moved the family to South Africa, where he quickly rose to success as the head of a law firm in Johannesburg. The two girls had more money than they needed at that young age but no parent figure and so Ryden spent the first eleven years of her life growing up with nannies, having fun with Bridget at getting them all fired. She would be the mastermind behind most of the plots, while Idge would insert the nastier parts and actually carry them out. The fall of their twelfth year, Ryden and Bridget began attending a magical boarding school and even before the end of their first year it became obvious that the two desperately needed to be separated. Their father, more annoyed than angry with the girls’ behavior, sent Bridget (the slightly less clever of the two) to a stricter school all the way in Italy, leaving both girls miserable and out to seek revenge. But nothing they did got past their father and little by little, they grew used to the separation, even becoming friends with other people in their classes.
So Ryden spent her years in South Africa while her sister lived in Italy with their grandparents, and while the brunette loved school (well, mostly... there were incidents, occasional things that would shake her but she's never told anyone and she never will) and she adored Johannesburg, she couldn’t help but feel bitter towards Father for not only separating her from her sister but also from cutting off all family ties too, since he was never home and now people preferred to visit Bridget in Italy, since she was closer. During her third year of magical school, Ryden took matters into her own hands and became even more of a devil than before, vandalizing and ruining school property, bullying, stealing and cheating on exams not because she needed to do any of those things, but because she wanted to get her father’s attention.
Eventually, the school kicked her out and her father was left to decide what to do with his problematic girl. Sending her to join Bridget in Italy was obviously out of the question, but there was always their mother’s former school. With lots of kicking and screaming, Ryden was sent to live with her aunt for the remainder of the year in Liverpool, and during the next school semester would attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Personality:
To the outside world, Ryden shows a tough exterior. She’s brutal with her words, harsh with her actions and doesn’t care at all what other people think. One of her main traits is her unruly temper, which flies out of control at the littlest thing. As a teenager with some major problems, Ryden experiences terrible mood swings that can leave her completely normal one minute and barking mad (aka fuming at everyone) the next. The only person she truly cares for is Bridget, who’s almost identical to her, and who lives in Italy, which means that sometimes she will take out her frustrations on innocent victims just because she can. Incidentally, some of these frustrations originate from Bridget herself.
Due to the fact that her allowance (which her father didn’t close, on account that he’s quite a show off character himself and wants everybody to know that he’s so successful, his daughters can both buy yachts and still have some money left) is monstrous in size, she’s never had to beg or want anything that she couldn’t have, resulting in both her and her twin’s spoiled natures only that, unlike Ryden, Bridget is just a little bit nicer about it, and is aware that she’s spoiled.
However, in reality, if there's one thing that Ryden isn't, it's heartless. A little paranoid at times and a firm believer in the gut instinct, she's never one to trust easily and will always and forever be suspicious of the people around her unless she truly feels that they're trustworthy. And that doesn't really occur very often, as she doesn't even fully feel that way about Bridget.
She pays more attention and feels a lot more than she will ever let on. Quite the little hypocrite, she will always think she's right at the end of the day, but will still care for other people's opinions, even if she goes about it with rudeness. With a photographic memory and much talent with academics and sports, the brunette genuinely sometimes wishes that she could just reinvent herself, reinvent her life and start over. But then she remembers that if she did so, it would be like caving to her Father, caving to his demands, and she flat out refuses to do that. Almost as stubborn as she is clever, Ryden cannot bear for anyone else to be right but her.

Beth is kind, but very shy. She's very intelligent but daydreams more often that she should. She's Irish, and has a strong accent and uses it to her advantage. Her mother, her father and her brother are all muggles but they moved to Asia when she was five to tarvel the world and she hasn't heard from any of them since. They knew she was a witch from day one, though they never told her. They didn't want such a strange specimen in their family so they hoped if they ignored her powers, maybe they would go away. But eventually they gave up and sent her to live with her gran Aunt Noreen in Cardiff and left the country. Shortly before Beth turned thirteen, Noreen died when she choked on her tongue. At the funeral, Beth knew she would be taken in to Care. The Social Workers came, but a girl, aged twenty one, arrived dressed in light blue robes, and the same eyes as Beth. She claimed to be Beth's first cousin, Skye. After weeks of meetings and form fillings, they agreed to let Skye be Beth's guardian when she showed them proof from Noreen's will. So Skye took her back to Ireland and told her she was a witch, and had missed her first three years at Hogwarts. So Beth started Hogwarts, aged thirteen and three quarters, and is still there now.
