Helena made her way to the grounds, where the next Care of Magical Creatures lesson will take place, wondering what will professor MacFusty show them this time. Because the lesson about sphinxes had been... even more amazing than Helena had ever expected.

But... as she approached the man...

... nothing.

"Hello, professor," the girl smiled, when she was finally there. She looked around for a little bit, hoping that something would eventually appear, but nothing. "What are you reading?" She asked curiously, hoping that he wouldn't mind.

The weather is more chilling outside the Castle. A Slytherin scarf is wrapped around her neck. As she steps inside the stable, Aiden realises the musky smell. She wonders if they are going to learn about deers today.

Bowing her head towards the professor, Aiden greets him with a low voice. "Good afternoon, sir," she smiles faintly.

For the first time in her life, Presley was early to class. She was one of the first ones there, and she looked around at the stables which were oddly...empty. "Hello, Professor!" she smiled brightly. She resisted the urge to dance because of how early she was, and simply pulled her book from her overloaded school bag. Maybe they were working with Abraxans today? Or not because the stables were...empty. "How are you doing?" Presley weakly attempted conversation with the teacher. Now she realized why she was never early. It was awkward being the only one in a classroom setting with the professor. What was she supposed to do? Presley slid her hand behind her back, and crossed her fingers that somebody else would show up soon.

Hmmm.. Magical creatures, eh? Janice thought. Choosing a seat, she greeted the professor.
"Hello, sir.."
Apparently, she was the only Hufflepuff in. Yet.

Kurumi hurried to the Care of Magical Creatures area and was overjoyed to see that they were holding class in the stables. Kurumi had enjoyed coming down to the stables her first two terms to simply observe the abraxan, but the smile on her face faded when she saw that the stables were empty. Where had all the abraxan gone?

Kurumi immediately peered outside and looked up at the sky. Hmmmm....

Kurumi then turned her attention back towards Professor MacFusty and her eyes darted around for a certain stubby legged feline.

"Good day, Professor MacFusty," she smiled as she took a spot near the front.

MacFusty? The professor's name was SERIOUSLY MacFusty? Ryden couldn't help a small smirk at the thought. Poor guy. It wasn't the most convenient name to have; although for a Care of Magical Creatures professor it was kind of fitting. Was his family a line of CoMC professors, or something?

Pondering this, Ryden strolled into the stables and instantly felt a little better as it was much warmer here than outside. How she HATED the cold. Especially here; there was just something about the cold here that made her angry, not only because it was during the wrong time of the year. How Bridget could stand it was beyond her.

Looking ahead, Ryden briefly glanced at Professor MacFusty and thought that greeting him, even if she was inclined to, was pointless as he was reading a book. Lucky guy. With a sigh, the brunette plonked her bag on the floor rather loudly at the back of the stables and sat down, eyeing the other students. She recognised, as of now, only one and wasn't really willing to talk to her. Gryffindor nutcase.

Stella strolled towards the stable, it was cold outside and she there was a breeze too which didn't really help her cold. She entered the stable, looking around, wandering where are all the abraxans? The Ravenclaw walked towards her seat blowing her nose (trying to keep it as quiet as she can). She sat down and took out a small portable dustbin for her tissues, after blowing her nose again and throwing the used tissue into the dustbin, she said ,with a small smile, raising her head towards the Professor, "Good day Professor." Sniffing, she took out of her small bag a few parchments and quills, and rested her head on the palm of her hand waiting for the lesson to begin.

Gwen went straight to the stables, hoping she wouldn't be late. Nah, no chance, I'm always there on time, the young ravvie decided.

'Good day, Professor', she greeted as she entered the stable

Aurora walked down to the stables and walked in. She had been too ill to attend the first lesson and was excited for this one to start. However, there were no abraxans in the stables... Hmmm... "Hello Professor." she greeted the teacher, grinning broadly. She loved animals!!

Arya was excited about this lesson as she skipped down to the stables. They were going to work with abraxans! At least she hoped they were, but even if they didn't, it wouldn't bring her cheerful mood down. Just BEING in the stables had her excited.

She slowed when she entered the stables, and let her bright eyes wander. No abraxans. Hm. "Hey, Professor MacFusty." She grinned at the man, who only got a fleeting glance as her eyes returned to the stables. Sitting didn't even cross her mind as she slowly began to remove the first layer of her outerwear.

Louisa had her bag slung onto her shoulder as she made it into the stable. The odor wasn't strong but it gave her the impression of Magical Creatures all right. Hmmm. Where was she supposed to sit? Huh?

"Hi Professor." She said lazily, not caring whether he heard or not- It wasn't personal, she just didn't like people in authorities anymore... that's it.
So, where were all her friends? Not that she had many but Vashti and Kita used to show. As for Enya, it'd be a grace from her if she stepped into the classroom. Louisa might celebrate if she ever sees the girl listening to a teacher.

Dani loved Care of Magical Creatures- she wasn't planning on working with animals in the future, but it was just fun! And very interesting. Although at times it made her miss the horse, Aphrodite that she used to ride back when she was little and Luke would take her out to the fields near their old house where a family nearby let them ride their horses.

She sighed as she approached the stables- smiling as she pushed back her blonde curls and adjusted her satchel on her shoulder- "Morning, Professor" she said softly as she looked around and wondered where all the Abraxans had gone. The stables here were so different than how they had been back at Beauxbatons.

Having enjoyed the chill and crisp air on the way down to the stables Riley was in a good enough mood when he arrived to the class to ignore that fact that they were in the stables. He had never really enjoyed a class that put him face to face with creatures and beasts but he was going to handle it today. For Gryffindor at least.

He entered the room and noticed it was charmed to stay warmer. 'Well that's nice at least.' Riley took off his scarf and coat and walked towards the area where the students were to sit. "Good morning Professor." he said as he passed MacFusty who appeared to be reading. The seventh year looked around at the other students already there and chose to sit next to one of the familiar faces from his own house.

"Hey Kurumi, mind if I join you?" he grinned sitting down and rubbing his hands together to get warmth spreading.

Chloe was so excited about the topic for this lesson in COMC, abraxans, this was gonna be so fun. As she walked in she saw her quiddich teamate with a rather cute looking older guy, possibly her age. She walked over to them. The environment seemed odly cosy, perhaps that was a good sign. She walked up to the boy and said, "Hey there, I'm Chloe, mind if I sit with you. I am pretty Kurumi won't mind", Chloe said extending a hand to the boy. She had seen him around but never quite got the chance to introduce herself.

Kurumi smiled when Riley sat down next to her, but still felt a slight tinge of resentment for what had happened early on in the term. Still, she was willing to forgive, just not forget. "Of course," she chirped as she scooted her books and parchment over a bit to make more room for him.

Riley had sat down and was continuing to remove weather-protective clothes when another person joined where Kurumi and himself were seated--another Gryffindor too. "Well hello there Chloe." he said shaking her hand with his cold one. "And no I don't mind, pull up a seat. It's nice to meet you, I'm Riley."

As he joined his friend in the seats, he couldn't help but notice a small bit of stiffness in her response....probably nothing. So what had the House-Elf been up to recently? "How've ya been Kurumi?"

Simon walked into the classroom. "Hello Professor." Simon smiled, hopefully the lesson would be a good one. "How are you today Professor?"

Viola entered the Stables, feeling really grumpy. She'd been having a splitting headache since morning and she'd contemplated going to the Hospital Wing but then she would have to miss the class, which she really wasn't keen on.

Anyway, she greeted the professor with a "Good Day" before picking a spot near the front. She placed her bag on the ground before sitting down and waited for the class to start. She really hoped it would get over soon.

She may have enjoyed the coolness of the day in a way, but she still bundled herself up so she wouldn't actually be cold. Wrapping her cloak even more around herself, Evelyn glanced down to red necklace she wore, just recently given to her from her most amazing boyfriend. It was hard to not stare at it.

Realizing that she had made it to the stables and was just standing there after a moment or so, the Slytherin girl turned her attention to her surroundings instead and walked inside. Eh, magical creatures class. Another professor she didn't like. Probably another boring lesson.

Just another day Hogwarts. "Good day, Professor." There was no way she was sitting anywhere in here. Ew.

Isobel skipped in to the stables. The last lesson had been fun, so she was excited for this lesson. "Hello Professor," she said cheerfully.

"Thank you so much, and it is nice to meet you too Riley. I play quiddich with Kurumi so I was Kurumi would not mind I sit here, I was a chaser in the last quiddich game and it may seem suprising but that was my first quiddich match. It was a bit of a bummer that we lost but we certainly did bive it our all".

Aurora walked down to the stables and walked in. She had been too ill to attend the first lesson and was excited for this one to start. However, there were no abraxans in the stables... Hmmm... "Hello Professor." she greeted the teacher, grinning broadly. She loved animals!!

"I've been well," she smiled. At least, her nerves had finally calmed down from the Quidditch match and her playing Seeker - talk abut a way to make a debut on the pitch and in the sport, right? "I am actually a little anxious," she continued glancing up at Professor MacFusty who was still engrossed in his book. "Profesor MacFusty has been keeping Walnut for abut a week now, giving him sort of Kitty Counseling since he...well...Walnut has been rather difficult this term." And peeing in people's shoes especially Josh's. "You?"

Salina floated into the classroom. She had gotten a nice bit of sleep last night and felt ready to take over the world! "Hello, Professor McFusty! How're you doing?"

Animals! Yeah! Salina loved (LOVES!) animals. The huggable ones, not the ones that bite your fingers off...
