| | |  Bench Outside Professor MacFusty's Hut
A comfortable looking bench with its back against a flower covered wall sits right outside Professor MacFusty's hut. This is the perfect place for you to wait and chat with other students while waiting for him to attend you. Make sure you knock on the door first, of course, otherwise he'll have no idea you are waiting for him. Well, your giggles and voices may clue him in, but unless you knock, he'll pretend to be oblivious to everything.
Oh, and watch your feet. Professor MacFusty's jarvey, Stanley, roams the grounds and he enjoys nibbling on the shoes of unsuspecting students from time to time.
OOC: Please post your character knocking the door on this thread, and then wait for me to post Lachan here, allowing you inside his hut. You should KNOW, though, that it's very unlikely Lachlan will have more than THREE people inside his hut at the same time. So if there are already three people in, you'll have to wait hereee. =)

This was HIS first stop. Sorry, pretty Healer, sorry, Bishop, but he had to visit this new person that kind of held his WHOLE fate in their hands. Or, rather, someone else's fate, but, yeah, whatever.
He didn't like the feeling of that flowery wall up there. Mostly because he knew that THIS was a male Professor, and it was just completely strange. Seriously. He didn't trust it.
Either way, the young Lockhart knocked on his door, and waited for an answer.
The man must be in there, right?

Lachlan blinked, and watched with the corner of his eye as Stanley scurried in. "Can I help you?" He hesitated for a moment, then added. "Actually, just come on in. It's pretty cold out here."

Frowning mildly, MacFusty turned around and headed towards the door. Out of nowhere, Stanley climbed up to his shoulder and then proceed to start to climb back down and snake itself on the arm Lachlan was planning to use to open the door.
He frowned down at it. "You are pest," MacFusty said, not without affection, as he opened the door.
And then proceed to blink.
"Tiberius Pryce?"
Did he get kick out? Unlikely. Had Beaxbatons burned down after he left? Lachlan had always known that Winter festival they had was dangerous. Stepping aside, he smiled. "Come in, mister Pryce."

Having escaped from his Mistress' watchful eye in the common room, Walnut strutted, not waddled, his way down to the Care of Magical Creatures area expecting to smell chili spices and the sweet aroma of Mango Lady. He had grown rather fond of the Professor and wished that his Mistress had waited so long to take him with her to classes...and that the first time he had been dressed up as a frog.
Still, Mango Lady HAD convinced his Mistress to spray herself with a spray bottle all for the sake of amusing him, and that made her fantastic in his kitty book.
As he continued to waddle strut with his stubby munchkin legs, it became more and more apparent to the feline that there was a SERIOUS lack of mango smell coming from the area. Instead, there was a musty smell of broccoli...which did not smell nearly as pleasant as mango. Arriving at the hut, it didn't take a genius to notify the cat that pretty Mango Lady was not here...and that she had been replaced by Broccoli Person. Then, there was a smell that he was not familiar with...and it made his hair stand on end.
Noticing another girl present, he continued to strut by her until he was sitting directly in front of the door where he MEOWed loudly.

Usually when classes weren't in session he was happy. After all that meant no homework to worry about and since it was his NEWT year he was bound to have a lot of homework. But this time Legend wasn't quite sure how he felt- except for of course bored. He was BORED. There was nothing exciting to do in this castle. It had turned into his prison. And so, he had taken to wandering the grounds, hoping to come across something exciting. As Legend made his way past the Greenhouse and past the Creature Nursery a small smile was brought to his lips.
The simple memory of the Care of Magic creature assignment he had done about two years ago came to his mind. Taking care of the baby Phoenix. Now that had been awesome. His trip down memory lane came to a halt once voices rose into the air. Noticing basically a line of students in front of the new Professors hut, Legend wandered over. Maybe he needed some type of body guard?

Lachlan set his cup of tea on the table, and laughed heartily at Miachael's serious tone. He stood up and accompanied him to the door. When he opened it for the boy, MacFusty poked his head out and gave the people waiting outside a nod--and picked up the kitten meowing outside.
"Mister Chosen. Miss..." I don't know your name? "I'm afraid you'll have to wait a little bit longer." Or they could leave and come back later. That was always an option. Nodding respectfully at them, the Care of Magical Creatures professor stepped back inside his hut and returned to the couch he'd previously been sitting on.

"Wait a bit longer for what?" Legend asked in a confused voice as Professor New Guy came out of his hut. "Are you giving something cool away?" That was what he had thought. There had been a line of people out here. Something had to up. So it was either the Professor was giving something away or all the students were planning on beating him up.
And the second one seemed less likely to happen.
But if it did happen he still wouldn't mind being a body guard.

Jayce walked down the hill as quickly as humanly possible. This was NOT good. He would have been sprinting down the hill had he not been known to trip quite often. In his arms, the boy cradled a tiny, squirming, whimpering, rust colored puppy to his chest, making sure that the little guy's right paw had room. Not that little Woody could move his paw or anything anyway.. But there was no use in injuring it further.
As he reached the hut, he eyed the rest of the crowd there. What was there? Three people and a.. a cat? UH-OH. He held the pup tighter to his chest as it began squirming more. He nodded at the girls and.. Legend? What was he doing here? He shook his head, shaking off the thought and knocked on the door somewhat anxiously before standing next to the rather packed bench with the injured pup.

Eino made his way to the grounds and towards Professor MacFusty's Hut very slowly and carefully. He was holding a glass jar with several leaves inside. It was covered with a single sheet of parchment, which had been perforated a few times to allow air inside, and was tied around the top of the jar to prevent the leaves from falling out. He might as well have been holding a baby or a kitten because he held it wit the utmost caution and care with his eyes fixed on it. When he finally arrived at the hut he saw a long line of students waiting and took a seat on the bench next to an older student who was holding a dog. Eino's legs didn't quite reach the ground so he swung them back and forth and hummed with the jar sitting on his lap as he awaited his turn to speak with the Professor.

Lachlan waved Treyen goodbye, and gave the students waiting outside a quick glance. Another Hufflepuff prefect, Eino, Legend Chosen, and the Gryffindor boy from the feast, with the dog. Jayce, was it not? Speaking of dog, the boy had brought the puppy with him again.
And the animal didn't look all that good. Come to think of it, the boy looked rather worried, too. He frowned. "Jayce, come in. And..." He looked at the rest, not remembering which one had been there first. "One of you." Or two?
Same difference.

Louisa fiiinally made it to the hut. It took her a year to decide to open up to a Professor about her kitten's 'issue'. It wasn't easy, he was someone with authoooority *dramatic effects* which means he had the ability of taking the kitten away forever! Louisa had to make sure that Kitty was safe back home before she'd ask the Professor about her pet.
Professor Maya was going to be easier to talk to, knowing her and all, but strange ears sometimes do work out.
She heard some faint voices from inside and if she wasn't on a serious mission about her pet, she would've sneaked around and peered through... are there windows in there by the way? Never mind that.
Knock knock!
She buried half of her face into her scarf, her knitted cap hiding her head and her jumper so fluffy and big- she resembled a perfect blueish cupcake! Not that she was sweet or as cute but still...

Penny gave an exasperated breath, and began watching the salamander again.
After another hour of waiting Penny gave up....She would find another way of getting ingredients!!
Getting up off the bench she said..."I'm outta here girls...I don't have the time to sit here all day.... See ya'll in class"
